701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Development on: January 30, 2014, 02:06:45 AM
Gridseed is expensive, so far. Maybe when the price goes down. But hey, feel free to spend $100 on 70 kh/s.

You are quoting the marked up price being advertised by the buyers who got it before Gridseed sold out the first batch.  Gridseed 20 units sold from Gridseed.com are $2,700.00USD equivalent which returns a khs/$ of 2.25 which is onpar with an alpha-tech 5Mhs.  Plus Gridseeds are out right now and in mass production for batch 2 which will be out 2 months before alpha-tech gets their first batch out.

In crypto it is the first out the gate that capitalizes.  Gridseed will make alpha-techs worthless by the time they release only because difficulty will skyrocket over the next 4 months.

I don't see what the big deal is. I've traded on cryptsy since day one and never had a problem. I would say I've had up to 100 btc in coins in a single transaction and about 1000 btc in volume over the same time frame and did not lose 1 coin.

Is this a new and in regulated industry? Yes. Are people taking a huge risk getting involve in crypto at this time? Yes. If you want safety and can't afford risk leave cryptos and come back in 10 years when you can buy them through your broker I'm a 401k, otherwise accept the risk and do what you can to protect your self...

1. Send small amounts for coins ($ value) to reduce your loss of the are network issues.
2. Double check addresses. Most lost coins are because people typo an address.
3. Learn to read the block chain  do you can prove a transaction was sent and to where. It is your receipt. If you can't show a receipt then all your complaints is just whining.

Well the clocks running out, is BCX actually going to do it or are they just gonna run off tail between their legs?

Yup yet again BCX fails to deliver.  All hype.

You were saying?

~BCX~

Block chain or it didn't happen.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fibonacci SCRYPT ASIC Litecoin LTC Miners - Datasheet Posted on: January 29, 2014, 12:13:41 PM

the more shares you the faster is the roi

sry but thats wrong.
thats completly independent of how many shares you buy.

and 200 mil dollar profit(*) from selling products .that will not be done from today to next day.. if the yeven ever archive that hugh profit

edit: just read the webpage again. I might have miss read it a bit and they didn't mean to share 5% of the profit only but all the profit and 5% is their calculated profit. This way the numbers looks better (replace the word profit(*) with income) although I very much doubt the 5% profit only.

I think your original interpretation was right. If they generate $200M INCOME (revenue) for hardware sale, 5% of the income will be distributed to HW shareholders. That is $10M. Divide that with 0.2M shares, that is $50 per share.

I doubt they can sell $200M without causing huge difficulty rise.

If we approximate that each chip as 1MH/s, the price is for $500/MH/s, they will sell 400 k chips. That is 400k *1MH/s, or 400GH/s. The net work hash rate is less than 150GH/s at the moment. The difficulty will at least double.

There are other ASIC manufacturers as well.

This smells so much like preorders but the shareholder is put in a bigger hole than pre-ordering from alpha tech. You would have to wait until the Company generated 200 million in profits just to break even. Meanwhile the Company is making money hand over fist from mining LTC. So the contract you buy acts as seed money-grubbing them to stay up a hosting environment.

Now the question is.... Does "sell"  include units the Company buy for itself? If no, then the Company could buy up is own units and operate them and shareholders do not make a dime.

Way to go Jansilee. You've taken scam to a whole new level.

705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A user here threatened to multi fork Gamecoin within 24 hours. What can we do? on: January 29, 2014, 04:27:33 AM
because he can't even fork a dead coin if he had the chance.  you give him too much credit and if you are scared as a coin dev then your coin deserves to die as you are not smart enough to maintain it.

"scared" would not be the right word to use. A lot of people have expectations from me, I am trying to not disappoint them. This is not person to person warfare, this is person to community warfare.

What do you mean by I am not smart enough to maintain it? We have developers ready to fix it in case a fork happens. It doesn't mean we will welcome a fork just because we can fix it. In the coming times, we might grow to a point where we become a lot more immune to such attacks.

you must be the idea guy.  you don't develop your self.  figures.

I hope BCX tries to fork it just to prove at least once out of the dozens of threats he has made over them months.

"scared" is the right word since you are not confident enough in being able to protect the coin.

Why are you so trying to make this happen? It is a good thing if he decided to leave GME alone.

Why don't you ask BCX to fork the coin that you hold?

because he can't even fork a dead coin if he had the chance.  you give him too much credit and if you are scared as a coin dev then your coin deserves to die as you are not smart enough to maintain it.

BCX only has 5.5 hours left.  Still no fork.  LOL
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fibonacci SCRYPT ASIC Litecoin LTC Miners - Datasheet Posted on: January 28, 2014, 09:34:27 PM
Well, indeed it's the electrical costs what is going to make a change.  I think if you put that somehow into your calculation, these ASICS are going to be more profitable for sure.

Yea, sure they will get a (huge) benefit (/ profit), but that's business. As long as people like me (small miners) can make profit & Fibonacci does, who cares.

The only thing is, your miners will be worth $ if the whole Digi-currency-market will crash, and the miner will not.

True relative to GPU rigs I agree.  Its only a marginal gain.  But relative to other scrypt asic developers these are much more expensive.  AlphaTech, Flowertech and Gridseed units have 30% less days till pay off than Fibonnacci units.  Gridseeds are already mining and gen2s are in mass production.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fibonacci SCRYPT ASIC Litecoin LTC Miners - Datasheet Posted on: January 28, 2014, 09:25:06 PM
I think those prices are about the same as the price you pay for GPU's to reach for example 960 khash/s, or maybe a bit higher right? (And you need to buy other hardware to mine with GPU's). But, by mining with GPU's I think it will take about 500 watt (educated guess) to reach 960 khash/s instead of 5.

I think those prices aren't really bad.

I'm not talking about kHs/watt I'm talking about price per kHs.  The other ASIC developers are actually in offering better value.  They offer more kHs per $1 invested in buying the machine.  The result is that you will pay it off faster and return more profit.

I think that fibonacci is aiming at making a fat profit and become a ghash.io.

Besides depending on what you buy you are only getting slightly better than a 7950 rig with 5 GPUs.  *I have about 50 of them.

UNIT   KH/s   Price   Watts   kh/$

7950 Rig   3375    $2,000.00    1400   1.6875

Fibonacci Recursion   960    $561.60    5   1.7094
Fibonacci Axiom   18000    $8,985.60    80   2.0032
Fibonacci Epsilon   35000    $17,951.20    150   1.9497

You will save on electrical costs and only a modest profit.  Nowhere's near the benefit fibonacci is getting (they are putting a large premium on the units they are selling).
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fibonacci SCRYPT ASIC Litecoin LTC Miners - Datasheet Posted on: January 28, 2014, 09:12:29 PM
the price for performance is horrible.  The estimates prices jansilee reported in is litecointalk thread makes the kHs/$ on part with a 7900 series graphics card.

Estimated specs

Name   Hash   Price(LTC discount)   Watts
Fibonacci Recursion   960    $561.60    5
Fibonacci Axiom   18000    $8,985.60    80
Fibonacci Epsilon   35000    $17,951.20    150

I don't know if this is a serious threat or not, but this bitcointalk user BitcoinEXpress threatened to "multiple fork" GME. I think I owe it to the community to make them aware of this threat whether it is true or false.

This has been posted on Gamecoin FB, Twitter and the official forum as well. This is what the user BitcoinEXpress PMed me 3 hours ago.

"Your coin will be multi forked in about 24 hours. I'll be giving people enough time to dump their coins or move into personal wallets"

I think he didn't like our giveaway thread started today https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=435576.0

He might hate alt-coins, he may have a thing against a previous Gamecoin dev or perhaps he is doing it for fun. There is certainly not a grudge against me that I'm aware of. So here you go community, you have someone threatening to multi fork Gamecoin. I didn't create Gamecoin. I'm passionate about Gamecoin, I do hold much too but I can't just hide this threat and keep you uninformed. It is up to you to do whatever you feel is right.

Meanwhile, Gamecoin just made it to CoinPayments.net!

Oh son you really grabbed the bull by the horns taking on bitcoinexpress. The list of coins this person(s) have succesffuly attacked or killed is quite long. More than a few did not recover. The typical MO is that associated pools will be taken out dropping the net hash followed by massive hash increase that takes over the remaining network while sky rocketing the diff. Not good. If I were you I would get ahold of Spots or Bitjohn as they seem to have some sort of sway with this person. I just dumped all my gme. It wasn't a lot but it was enough that i dont want to get caught holding the bag on. Hope it all works out.

Prove it  show us a list of coins that he killed with proof of the fork in the block chain and his announcement of the scheduled attempt.  BCX is a blithering idiot that is trying to compensate for a shitty half ass life that doesn't amount to anything so he has to pretend to be a big shit on the internet.

You sir have a serious case of bcx envy don't you, which pretty much supports bcx claim of you being realsolid. Either you are just really stupid, (which I know you aren't) or you a very bad troll trying to ag bcx on. I think its the latter.

no proof eh?  classic.  can't support your post so you have to resort to deflection.

You keep talking about how big your dick is but you never pull it out for proof.

Should have known, you're interested in seeing dicks.

Your an idiot, but if I were you I'd sell my GME if I were you.

~BCX~

If I was interested in seeing dicks I'd be checking your twat.

Sell GME.  lol You don't even know what forking really means.

So how did your forking of DGC work out for you.  You barked alot about that and then put your tail between your legs a couple days later.  You're such a joke.

@RS

Back to using this sockie I see.

Baritus made a public 180 and made it clear he didn't want any part of a battle. I don't have anything to prove to you but congrats on getting your newest scam back up and running!

~BCX~

Sorry bud but you were the one that did the 180.  You stated that you were doing to fork his coin anyway and it was too late.  Due you are always a blow hard.  You haven't even forked a single coin since then.  Keep being the joke you are getting off on pretending to be something you are not.

@rs

You might refer to the thread below started by Baritus basically pleading for me to not attack his coin and making it clear he didn't want any issues with me. I was also asked by some people whom are friends here to not destroy the coin since they planned on mining.

As usual, your dead wrong. So crawl back to your primary scam and STFU.

You can't point to any coin you forked.  You could have just forked it anyway but you didn't which proves you are a joke.  You keep talking about how big your dick is but you never pull it out for proof.  It just goes to show you are all talk.  You have a chance to prove it here so do it.  Or are you just going to stuff it between your legs again.

And whats with the @rs?  What the hell is that supposed to mean?

@GameCoinFuture

You're the one that stepped up the "Game" when all I said was that GME will not pass .001.

You went all badass now deal with it.

Now to be clear, all I am going to do is "enthusiastically mine" GME LOL....

I highly suggest two things

1) Contact the previous two GME devs for BCX references

2) Move or dump your coins before 5pm Eastern time USA. It will take me that long to reign in enough of a herd.

BCX is all talk.  (He/She) It has been threatening to fork alt coins for 9 months now with nothing to show for it.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitInstant CEO Charlie Shrem Arrested for Alleged Money Laundering! on: January 28, 2014, 03:06:13 AM
If you go to a bank to exchange Euros for US Dollars and then go to a crack dealer to buy drugs does the bank get arrested for providing you the currency to do so?

That's not the same situation...

Enlighten me
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitInstant CEO Charlie Shrem Arrested for Alleged Money Laundering! on: January 28, 2014, 03:00:16 AM
The complaint alleges that Faiella took orders from Silk Road users hoping to purchase Bitcoin, the anonymous peer-to-peer crypto-currency.

Shrem then filled the orders by transferring funds into an account controlled by Faiella and hosted on a third-party Japan-based Bitcoin exchange MtGox. Together the two allegedly sold over $1 million in Bitcoin to Silk Road users, who then used those Bitcoins to attempt to purchase anonymously drugs and other illegal goods from the deep web black market.

I took the liberty of updating the article above.  Shrem hosted BitInstant which traded cash for Bitcoin using the MtGox merchant API (shopping cart).  Shrem did not know what the purpose of the exchange was for and Shrem did not actually sell drugs.  The users could have bought Bitcoin as an investment or to buy other products.

If you go to a bank to exchange Euros for US Dollars and then go to a crack dealer to buy drugs does the bank get arrested for providing you the currency to do so?

This is clearly a means of trying to attack Bitcoin.  I bet there was some Bank lobbying involved.
