7001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OYSTER PEARL (PRL) smart contract BREACHED - markets paused on: October 31, 2018, 02:35:31 AM
There was an intentional backdoor in smart contract from the start. We got to be cautious with anonymous devs.
7002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GEMERA ~ ✅💎💠 The Only Crypto-Token Backed by Colombian Emeralds 💠💎✅ on: October 31, 2018, 02:28:38 AM
I think that for 45 you can achieve a hardcore . you need to actively spread the word about your project so that investors can learn about the ICO . I wish you good luck.
I must say that today is a difficult time for ICO. And investor attention is divided into many projects. But the GEMERA, this is a legitimate project that can have promising development. It will be sad if it can not raise the necessary funds.
Yes, it is very difficult at this time to be able to convince investors to join in an ICO project because we all know that conditions that do not support and my hope that hopefully the results of the ICO project can be maximized.

I really hope so. ICO projects are losing investors support as most of them are trading at far below than their ICO price. Of course Gemera seems to be different, but it's hard to convince.

Many anonymous devs have exit scammed from projects, identifying themselves would build more trust amongst community.
And how did identities help with Bitconnect and MtGox? Grin

I said that because of fresh PRL scam.

No idea about mtgox, but Bitconnect owner got arrested.
7004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 [ANN][TWIST] TWIST : Revolutionising Blockchain Accessibility 🚀 on: October 30, 2018, 11:04:21 AM
Twist developers should identify themselves and try to be more transperent. Many anonymous devs have exit scammed from projects, identifying themselves would build more trust amongst community.
7005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best exchange to day trade on? on: October 30, 2018, 03:08:25 AM
Depends on factors such as liquidity, security, identity of owners, user trust. Binance, bittrex, upbit, etc.

Words of caution. Do not ever trade on exchange whose owners are unknown.
7006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 [ANN][TWIST] TWIST : Revolutionising Blockchain Accessibility 🚀 on: October 30, 2018, 03:02:36 AM
Still no word from devs on here or in Telegram for two weeks since the giant dumping down to 7 sats and deletion of main Dev’s Telegran account.

Does nobody else find all that a bit suspicious, especially given that they’ve insisted on remaining anonymous??

What was the telegram handle name that got deleted? They were never much active on telegram and on discord devs also come once in a while.

I am gonna hold my bag.
7007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Or Trading? on: October 29, 2018, 03:55:38 AM
If you do properly both are good. Learn trading techniques for trading and before doing any bounty, research project first.
7008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I research with you, you research with me. Lowcap Detailed Google Spreadsheet. on: October 29, 2018, 03:52:36 AM
You may have look at Twist and Enumivo, they look promising, and ACC too they have had some hiccups but lately they've been teasing about new update coming.
7009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been scammed? or almost? on: October 29, 2018, 03:50:02 AM
Yes by project named OTHO, seemed legit then last day they announced they are going to be listed on Kucoin — someone from community asked kucoin representative about listing they said no. By then, devs (?) dumped their tokens on forkdelta and ran away. Lost around $300 with it.
7010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is POW token a scam? on: October 29, 2018, 03:46:03 AM
Uh no. They did airdrop plus now there is bridge to convert POW to erc20 POW. Seems they have small team and they are delivering what they promised.

Joined the POW token airdrop the other day, got around 300k POW Tokens and it claimed it was worth $850. Then a moment later when I checked again it dropped down to $140. Does anyone know if it is legit?

you better sell it right away because the token is no more valuable than Bitcoin and Ethereum
if you feel anomalies in your feelings then you better close it immediately with the sure thing (Bitcoin-Ethereum)

The bridge was announced just recently, so if he even wanted to sell he could have not.
7011  Economy / Exchanges / Re: My 1200 BTC Account Is Blocked By Binance on: October 29, 2018, 03:33:09 AM
Assuming your story true. Veterans should know to never ever put much funds on exchanges.
7012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 [ANN][TWIST] TWIST : Revolutionising Blockchain Accessibility 🚀 on: October 28, 2018, 02:07:15 AM
FUD or whatever, that gave Twist immense volume — almost 9 BTC that too on just one exchange  Grin

I recently traveled and went to the colombian airport El Dorado in Bogota and saw a store that sold Emeralds. They are beautiful! I was thinking that I hope the project does succeed and gets stablished in the long term because its use case could benefit this luxury sector greatly. Who knows I might next time be able to trade my tokens for some gems in that store Smiley

Indeed. Although I haven't seen them physically, just Google image search — they are freakin beautiful.

maybe we can see from the sales results of this project which is still very unsatisfactory and if you want this project to succeed and materialize, of course, we expect the project team to have a more attractive trading strategy so that the target can be achieved.

I hope Gemera at least reaches soft cap Smiley
7014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 [ANN][TWIST] TWIST : Revolutionising Blockchain Accessibility 🚀 on: October 27, 2018, 02:50:31 AM
Looks like exit scam confirmed.

Devs have deleted their accounts from Telegram chat, no longer post or respond in Discord or in here, and there was massive dumping of tokens that they airdropped to themselves (dev wallet was a decoy)

I just checked Twist telegram accounts (community chat + for announcements). Twist admin's account is intact, plus new mod has been hired too it seems.

7015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin is a security, a currency or a commodity? on: October 26, 2018, 02:44:40 AM
Depends on individual. For holders, it is an asset. For traders, it is an commodity and for those who use it for transfers it is a currency.
7016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 [ANN][TWIST] TWIST : Revolutionising Blockchain Accessibility 🚀 on: October 26, 2018, 02:39:52 AM
Well me and my dozen crypto investing friends don’t know about coming developments because none of us use discord, only Telegram, and the Twist team barely ever post in Telegram.

I can get Miss Altcoin (170k) Twitter followers to start tweeting about Twist, she just needs payment proposal from the Twist team.

They do post major updates on telegram, they have two channels one is read only and other general chat.

You can also check their website, roadmap gets updated after every milestone achivement.
7017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unocoin one of the largest exchange in india plan to launch Crypto ATM in india. on: October 25, 2018, 03:58:18 AM
for what its worth, this arrest has not been so much about an "illegal bitcoin ATM" but more because of it being an "illegal ATM". of course it being used for bitcoin must have increased the tension and obviously the drama about it but in reality it was an illegal ATM that they placed without any kind of license which is why the arrest of the co-founder took place.

'Illegal Bitcoin ATM' was mainstream media's headline and it wasn't true.

That ATM/Kiosk didn't dealt with Bitcoin, it was just a medium to withdraw/deposit INR from individual's Unocoin account.
7018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 [ANN][TWIST] TWIST : Revolutionising Blockchain Accessibility 🚀 on: October 25, 2018, 03:48:56 AM
Twist is definitely cheap.

To reach a new level the team needs to reveal themselves, and someone needs to explain why and how the project is special.

Why is storing data and passwords on Blockchain going to get us to top 100%?

I know there is a lot more to TWIST than storing and transferring data but that’s what potential investors see as they glance briefly at TWIST.

Why is TWIST superior to say INXT or FileCoin?

There is (will be) master nodes, twist chat, twist ID's + twist data, and they said there will be new developments as project pogresses.

7019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have bitcoin coming to my waves wallet for some reason on: October 24, 2018, 03:18:48 AM
So, here is a record from LATEST TRANSACTIONS in my waves wallet at https://waveswallet.io/
Date: 10/22/2018
Type: Incoming Mass Payment
NAME:   Bitcoin
RECIPIENT:   n/a
FEE:   0.051 WAVES
UNITS:   0.00011680

However, when I go to my portfolio in the same wallet, it shows 0.0000408 bitcoin.
How come my total bitcoin is less than what is arriving?
I dont where the bitcoin is coming from.
Waves is an altcoin right? So it's not really Bitcoin it's someone naming that transaction as Bitcoin? If the waves wallet doesn't have a Bitcoin receiving address it can't receive it, it's an entirely different coin.

It's like ethereum, where you can build tokens upon it. So op probably received token named Bitcoin.
7020  Economy / Exchanges / Re: DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGES: why we need decentralization? on: October 24, 2018, 03:06:34 AM
Centralized exchanges take too much fees and community based projects do not have much funds to spare so they kinda never get the attention they deserve. Secondly, decentralized exchanges have more security compared to centralized ones.
