7003  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Bitcointalk Forum Cool Trivia on: February 03, 2020, 10:49:10 AM

From Wikipedia

The term "leet" is derived from the word elite, used as an adjective to describe formidable prowess or accomplishment, especially in the fields of online gaming or computer hacking. The leet lexicon includes spellings of the word as 1337 or l33t.

7004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is digital gold good? on: February 03, 2020, 07:14:14 AM
The idea isnt bad actually it comes handy with some few perks if you asked me.

  • The era now is changing and having a digital currency for gold will enable safety for those gold investor to keep safe their asset. How? Instead of securing permit for its storage they could convert and hold the digital equivalent of their asset into token which is stored in a ofline wallet
  • Easy means of transaction. Let say they wanted to sell their gold asset these digital gold currency will be tranferred to new owner in a easiest way to do it like sending a message from your phone. No threat when dealing on a private place or whatever of possible stealing
  • Never depreciated. Though gold is an accepted currency such as Dollar its value is rarely seen depleted cause of scarce and that's how implementation of digital gold currency can increase its popularity for those who are interested to invest with gold due to this improvement

So far there is no regulation for this, but I can see the possibility of digital gold currency to be regulated and authorized to be approve by the government.

I think this thread belong to Pamilihan bro. IMO, you can move it there para sure, though usually naman minomove ng moderator if hindi sa seksyon na ito puwede ang ating naipost. Kaso maganda unahan mo na.
Please let me know if I posted this on the correct place. Thanks.  Wink

Wow simple lang pala kaso BDO user ako and they have P50k limit per day. Siguro mayroon ding process like this sa BDO katulad ng shinare mo bro.

Anyway will look into it. Kasi minsan need rin ng emergency money and mahaba ang pila sa counter ng BDO at nakatayo pa. Unlike BPI na may waiting area. Nice guide bro.
7006  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Newbie to Full Member ranks] Merit Spree for the future of Phil Local Members on: February 03, 2020, 05:27:14 AM
I still have some few merits left. Thanks for those who share their learning experience. I am looking on how you post your experiences some getting higher merits on how you composed it. Everyone here can share their thoughts on other stuff too. If youre a low rank all you need to do is keep posting quality topics. Some members will correct you somewhere off the road but that's okay at least next time you know what your mistake and you remember to follow which is which.

Sana sa mga susunod na magpapasa please be real. I am seeing some new post that relates on how other's write. I appreciate if your gonna post more technical stuff or things you learn that others might interested to learn too. Good luck to everyone and I'm happy that some indeed rank up on this event. @samcrypto, @Maus0728, @maxriesh and @BodyKeeper. Keep it up guys.

In addition to the above scheme. Has anyone here experience here a situation where certain stranger chat you you and begging for help like he has some btc that cant be withdraw on his exchange wallet and asking you to help him and will give you reward just by registering on that exchange. I know that would be a scam already but I didnt pursue as I check the exchange sounds suspicious. I admit at first I was tempted but I still dont do it.

Lesson learned dont be attracted on this kind of scheme that involves giving you free money in a most easiest thing to do.
7009  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may hit 27K USD in the next 180 days! on: February 02, 2020, 03:37:56 PM
Everyone seems to be bullish with the Bitcoin halving on May but is this too early? I wanted btc to grow too as my asset will have good value but considering the timeframe I feel we can't be in that price in the month of July. We need 3x value of our current market cap now to be able to reach this level.

Tom Lee is indeed famous but every famous guy has their own prediction even the great Mcafee has his own though its just a total shitty shill and out of proportion.

Will see in 6 months, then if it happened I'll be back again on this thread.
7010  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How to protect yourself from fake giveaways. on: February 02, 2020, 03:10:27 PM
To be honest the root of all scam here came from giveaways. I can't deny that I almost fell for it but that was during I was still newbie and new to cryptocurrency.

Many ways to avoid these scams.

  • Dont prolong discussion on Strangers on any social media platform such as telegram. A lot has been victimized by this inquiry. Just dont reply and block him if he insisting topic especially about funds
  • If the giveaway has full of links associated, dont bother to check it. The post might compose professionally but trust me, this is just a disguise. Been there than that.
  • Social media is very huge before participating check first if the one posted it is the real one, might fall for a scammer's trap

Thanks for reminding everyone OP.
7011  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Malaysia crypto friendly on: February 02, 2020, 12:46:57 PM
Hi there,

I would like to ask if someone here knows  or not Malaysia is open to cryptocurrencies related business?

Malaysia is open but the users are not that many compared to other country like Indonesia and Philippines. I am working in malaysia and rarely see some guys who are interested but I noticed there are fond of doing mining cause my co worker said he has friends who are doing cryptocurrency mining.

If you would noticed they dont have own local board here on forum cause the users arent that many to put up. But there are many members here came from Malaysia. I'm not sure whether theymos could put up one for Malaysian users maybe in the future if the community members increased.
7012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Talk on: February 02, 2020, 12:25:25 PM

I confirmed Cryptotalk is forum, it's owned by yobit exchange. I participated in cryptotalk campaign i think still running, i got payment many times and it's provided by yobit exchange.

Is that right? You participated on the yobit campaign or cryptotalk? Cause Ive noticed that most participants are on senior rank, hero and legendary members here. How come you joined them when youre just a full member? Or your using another account higher than this one for that campaign. Cause I was tempted to join there before but during that time I am still a full member rank and no chance to participate.

I am indeed overwhelm to those who submitted and indeed its proven how good poster all of you and learned from all your mistake here in forum. I like the post of @Maus0728 very inspiring and really reflect on his journey here. Some submission worth noticing too. But the most quality one for the submission is him. Other post is also interesting. Cant wait for those who hasnt submitted yet. Keep pouring still have some smerit to spend.

I've appealed to the meta forum to help release this avatar but no one can and theymose even the moderator can't because there is a merit that makes it difficult for me to go full member and release this avatar.

You didnt follow what should be written here instead you just complained how could I judge that? Also, reviewing your post has no sign of being a Local here in this section. Sorry dude.

Well, this is a very nice thread OP and thank you sa patuloy na pagsuporta sa ating local forum.

Bro, op. Maganda ang merit number mo parang ulam.

Thanks for feedback dude. Of course, I am always supporting our Local group in best way I could help here. Haha funny 555 sardines already posted mate on meta.

For all higher rank who would submit their own background experience here. Feel free, but I will prioritize first those our lower ranks as Ive mentioned in my post. Dont worry your words here are well noted.

7016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exrates exchange is ascam exchange on: February 02, 2020, 04:55:04 AM
Exrates exchange took my money and didn’t let me ti withdraw because of ( suspicious activity )they said and I didn’t do any thing and banned me from telegram as well and have screenshots of everything

Can you show those photos that you have screenshot we love to see if youre complain is really commendable. Exrate is a shady exchange but never had any trouble with them regarding my funds for withdrawals. I hope youre not just creating some fud here without any valid proof to back up your case.

There is a reason maybe that's why they dont release your withdrawals. Or the tokens you've sent from your wallet is listed on some banned address and in the suspicious list.
7017  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How To Earn From BitcoinTalk on: February 02, 2020, 04:37:57 AM
Hey everyone i am new in this earning field where as i used to join bounty but most of them are scammed. so i cant find any other way to earn from this forum can you suggest me how to earn differently in this forum it will help me a lot thank you.

As mentioned by @mk4 you can joined reputable signature but youre not ready as most campaign accepting higher ranks. Head over to Bounty Section, I believe there are legit one that gave some reward in the form of tokens and later on you can exchange this for bitcoin. I agree there a lots of scam project but you can research which one is interesting and more legit. You can do such content for some campaign if you have talent. Your rank isn't the case here but your lack of perseverance.

I'm just a member rank before and earning decent from good campaign. But dont only stay here for that purpose learn some stuff too as well not just only earn.

7019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Set to Become the Next Global Reserve Currency on: February 02, 2020, 03:52:08 AM
Bitcoin avoiding censorship but this feature is highly dangerous too. Criminals and drug users or syndicate can use bitcoin to do such transactions for their illegal activity. There is no doubt that bitcoin is indeed a flexible currency versus a lot of local currency cause of its transparent and decentralized approach but of course we need to seek for solution on how this advantage can be retain without being affected by the likes of the things Ive mentioned above. Adoption is there but these use cases can also be used somewhere off the road which authority are very concern about.
7020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV Hard Fork on: February 02, 2020, 02:53:07 AM
there would likely be a battle of the real BTC this year and we are likely to see BCH and BSV outperform BTC interms if returns but in long term they would both die by the side

I dont think this would be the case. I dont understand why BSV pulled of this genesis stuff, are they arent tired of many forks made already? As @tranthidung mentioned too many for btc and some of them are literally useless. How come BSV could afford to do another one. This could turn into a hype shitcoin where whales like to play the investors money.

I cant accept BCH and BSV can outperform the BTC in terms of what? Tech? Price? Not happening bro. Too many btc supporters knows CW and RV are just trying to create hype here. In fairness with BCH at least they have something but for BSV? total crap work.
