7001  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you in the Christmas spirit? on: September 27, 2017, 02:36:42 PM
So this thread is near to be 1 year old already and again holiday season is coming and Christmas is the most awaited season every year. People get more money during holidays so for sure it will make the price of bitcoin pump again and I've seen a couple of times and last year is a good one because the pump started at the very end of year. And hoping that this year it will be also the same and will be pumping quicker.

After the recent downtrend of bitcoin price and it seems not finished yet, maybe around Christmas time this year then we will see again the spike of bitcoin price and many people will join in again for the ride which would make the price shoot up. Many people have extra money during Christmas and end of the year because of bonuses and the likes that's why some use it to buy bitcoin thus an increase in demand.

I hope that what happen from previous years during Christmas time would still be the same this year. Many are positive about it and as long as there will be no bad news that can affect the price then it would be a nice feeling to end the year with a bang.

I'm waiting for that yearly now because there is a big spike that's been happening every Christmas season. And for sure many of the buy backers are also waiting for the right time to see first the price of bitcoin at a very low rate before getting in again. Those past incidents during Christmas are the most awaited month of each year because the price are very reasonable with it's increase and it's suddenly happening.

I'm not in the mood actually. Because I fear from Chinese regulation and it could make very huge effects on bitcoin's fortune. I was gonna buy some coins, but I cancelled my idea.

Dont cancel your idea since its a good step on accumulating cheap coins as we observe on the price movement of bitcoin during in the month of december it do increase on its price.Just like on this thread where it was created on december last year we can say on how good did bitcoins price rose up compared on last year which assumptions did even left out where bitcoins price exceed to their expectations.
7002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: September 25, 2017, 03:03:31 PM
Yeah offline for the security , but most people do offline because it is easy.
You mean online? I would say online is really much easy if you are really making active transactions which online wallet would be suited and i would really recommend electrum because you do have the possesion of your private keys which is more than better to use compared on exchange or any other web wallets.
7003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why NEXUS falls ? on: September 25, 2017, 02:29:55 PM

Some time ago, Nexus hit peaks to reach more than $ 3.5- $ 4
Today, the NXS price has dropped dramatically to less than $ 2!
Why such a correction while good news was expected for this month of September?

May I know what news are you talking about?

I just wanted to talk about their conference last week.
The price went up before this conference and since that has been falling ...
I thought the project would be serious enough to avoid seeing the price of the coin inflate artificially before the conference
Expect the unexpected not all news and our assumptions would always go on the way we do want to go.
This is why i dont really rely too much on purchasing too much if theres a news and this is actually the hardest part since we do see this news as an opportunity either buy or sell in able to make profits.
7004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $100 of bitcoin in 2010 is worth $75 million today on: September 24, 2017, 01:41:26 PM
There's no question that it's been a good investment, particularly if you bought at the right time.
If you are one of the earliest person who did able to believe on bitcoins potential and did able to buy or mine as much as you can then for sure you are now swimming on millions of dollars.Regrets are there why we didnt able to know bitcoin why its still young and now we do see the price rose up too much but still i agree on those people who do said above that engaging on bitcoin isnt still late yet.
7005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to select the good project in bitcointalk? on: September 24, 2017, 12:55:49 PM
recently ,my country was banned the ICO project which was release by Chinese.
but I don't know how to select a good project,I had see a lots of project, but don't know how to pick it up.
any experience ?thanks
You can participate in ico projects that are not domiciled in your country.
do not invest when pre-sale,better you invest when a project is 50% reach hardcap it is the safest step to invest to a project in my opinion.
Purchasing on pre-sale is somehow risky since we wont even know if the project would be a success or not.If you can able to take the risk and made some investment and the project did succeed then for sure you would end up on having large profits but usually same as you said i do invest when the ico status is almost 50% on its hardcap which i can assume that it is successful already.
7006  Economy / Economics / Re: What limits the market cap of bitcoin? on: September 24, 2017, 12:28:46 PM
Currently worth $70 Bn, Is this a lot?

Personally it seems quite a lot for a fairly untested currency.

US gold reserves currently worth something like $300Bn, the largest in the world (though it's no clear if anyones checked its there). All this is less than a company like Google but still $70Bn is a lot of money.

For the bitcoin price to rise  a lot of money would have to flow in. Right now it seems like every grandma and her dog is being persuaded onto the bitcoin bandwagon. Is this not a sign of an impending crash, in which those at the bottom of the pyramid get burned? Is the bitcoin rise sustainable? Where will the money be flowing in from? Will shops have to start selling bitcoin investment scratch cards over the counter to keep the price rising?

I'm keen to head from people who can make arguments based on fundamental economic principles, either way.

The cap would be sky is the limit until it reaches the possible maximum when all bitcoins have been mined and do circulate globally but knowing theres still 16m coins in circulation. If demand would really rise up on bitcoin then for sure it shoots up its price its just a simple economics subject. It can surpass those big time companies or any other currencies when it comes to its cap.We are still young and there are still big space for adoption and development.
7007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Dimon bashes Bitcoin again on: September 22, 2017, 12:25:15 PM
Such a joke, they're saying bitcoin has no value because made of thin air but always buying bitcoin and do trading with it. people who didn't realize about this stupid thing may believe him but not for me.
I wonder how much money they already invested into bitcoin and after this bash, it'll increase significantly for sure lol  Grin Grin by all the panics order that are soon to be coming, they'll gone in few minutes lol and the bitcoin will go into JPMorgan's pocket.
It wont really work this time.We wont really be affected on those bashes and you are right the things they said are just show off to public to create panic but the truth behind is that they are buying bitcoin. For those people who did already have the knowledge this bashes are pure bullshit.
7008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: September 22, 2017, 11:16:31 AM
Yes, I am! But I know exactly which one you would like to promote  Roll Eyes  Grin 1 november will be the start date for the mobile miner, I'm curious if it will be profitable!

thanks for your comment davey!

well I do not only mean Electroneum (that I am indeed promoting) but generally the idea of mining on a mobile phone.

With conventional crypto currencies real and valuable mining is not possible.

Everyone's on mobile now, I think it could be great if I can mine right on my phone.
My friends who aren't into crypto would most likely be interested in this too.

If you show them a mining rig they just laugh and don't get it. It's something entirely different for them if they can easily mine from their phones. My girlfriend would even do it, and I'd tell my dad to mine too
It would really be a great innovation or project if this thing would really be possible but thinking off on the things regarding on mining i dont think that this thing will happen as we compared or see the things needed on mining either on bitcoin or on alts you would really need a dedicated miner for them and i cant see that hardware of mobile phones could able to sustain mining. It will surely be worn out and heat up easily.
7009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What was the first Altcoin? on: September 21, 2017, 12:33:28 PM
The first altcoin that was introduced to the market of cryptocurrency is Namecoin. It was created in april 2011 right after the creation of bitcoin.
It is one of the ten altcoins, the intention of namecoin's creation was to decentralize domain registrations.
Namecoin is still among successful altcoins and can be also used as a digital currency payment purpose.
Thank you for this information and i didnt expect that Namecoin is the first altcoin because when i do jump on bitcoin world i didnt ask these kind of question related to alts but now i do learn something new today. It might not be a big information but atleast it does help those people who do have these kind of questions on mind.I thought the first altcoin was DOGE.
7010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: September 21, 2017, 11:53:14 AM
I See topics about banning and I want to ask.

Is botcoin really that bad? To banned by other countries?
Do the other government in other countries see something bad?
Can bitcoin be used to locate us?and see what we are doing? In short a Spyware.

Other countries do ban bitcoin because they wanted to control the use of the crypto currency as well as the fiat money in their country. Just like in China as a communist country they wanted to control and manage the money or income of all their citizen.
If you do speak about china they would really do all the things possible to protect their own currency and money on its citizens this is why they do decide to make such regulation and banning. Some country would really see this thing but knowing that there still other governments do tend to adopt bitcoin just like on Japan itself they do accept and legalize bitcoin. It would really still depend on how they do see about bitcoin.
7011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: September 19, 2017, 02:26:09 PM
my biggest regret is why not buy bitcoin since the price is cheap
We do have all the same mistakes and im sure most people do have this kind of regret even myself do really regret when misses and opportunity to buy and sell when prices are on its good point but well i do moved on because price of bitcoin is really unpredictable which we would really have the tendency on missing up the chances of making money on such movements this is why we should really be aware and alert when we do trade on price specially on shorter timeframes.
7012  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc drop near 2k? on: September 19, 2017, 02:07:17 PM
I felt like I missed a great opportunity at selling high and buying low when it reached 5k and drop to 4k a couple of days ago. Now it happened again from 4k to 3k. You think it will happen a third time, from 3k to 2k?
Possible but would be hard to believe since bitcoins price do have a strong support even on the Big news regarding on Chinas ICO ban it did affect the price but not lowering its price again on lower from 2k price it did actually but only on 2.9k usd which isnt really low enough but those spots are the best time to buy more cheap coins and for those who did buy on those points did really make some money as of now seeing that price reaches again on 4k.Regrets can really be felt if we did miss an opportunity but well we should moved on since there are lots of opportunities on which bitcoin would give.
7013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: September 19, 2017, 01:50:25 PM
I think the US will start regulating ICOs, which means there will be fewer of them.

Fewer but better of them. The less scams we have, the more trust will flow into this young market, which will only add fuel to the mass adoption that's gonna make us all very wealthy
I would really rather prefer on regulating exchanges so that we would be somehow do have assurance on using the exchanges and lessen the risk of getting scammed since those exchanges are already being licensed which they cant easily run off on the money we do have on their. Banning on ICO is just a step up which it did really affect the price of most coins in the market.
7014  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Obtaining news before the market - sources? on: September 18, 2017, 01:56:00 PM
Hi, I was wondering how any crypto-currency traders on here obtain their news? are there any sources that retrieve information re. cryptocurrencies before the market do?
Is it possible for small enthusiastic investors to compete against the big players and profit immensely from trading? if so in what way? because i know alot of professional traders obtain their news before the general public and this obviously gives them a bigger advantage.
There are actually sites which you can see some news (google it) but those things dont really have the accuracy regarding on which would prices would go for a certain coin but somehow a good guide or basis on what would be the decisions you would made. But talking about a new before the market movement then its an impossible thing to know.
7015  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: September 18, 2017, 01:33:45 PM
divide your funds into 3 components and make some deposit, investment, and money in hand. For now, bank is not absulutely secure any far more, this kind of as Greek personal debt crisis.
This is why i dont trust banks anymore and just like what you said on the partitioned you are saying on here I do really agree on this one on which we do have savings, investment and money on hand.On this way we can really make diversifications on our money which isnt really just focused on a single point which would be also an advantage when it comes on making money.
7016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do banks feel about crypto on: September 17, 2017, 12:25:05 PM
I think governments and banks are not silent they are finding a solution for all these investments. The main of governments and banks are how can we these transactions be controlled by banks and how can we deduct the taxes from the people.
They are not blind and same as you said they are not silent and do already find the ways on how to stop these adoption my by cryptos on which their services is really mainly being affected because people do already engage on cryptocurrencies. They do see bitcoin as an enemy for sure this is why they dont really tend to accept bitcoin because it is a decentralized thing.
7017  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you Do When You Run Out of Money to BUY During Such a Great Opportunity? on: September 17, 2017, 12:06:54 PM
So, I'm loving that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are crashing. It's been giving me plenty of opportunities to buy in on the markets. However, the markets are so low that I've bought ALL IN with my funds.

Here's the problem...

So many cryptocurrency markets are tanking... which means there are SO many opportunties to make money. But I can't buy anymore, because I'm all bought in.

Do I now wait until we go to the moon (or at least another high)? Do I try to day trade this?

How would you approach this?

The waiting is killing me and I want to play in the markets more!
You are not the only who do experience such thing and im sure some people do have this kind of problem specially to those joe's who have only limited funds that have gone all in already on altcoin or bitcoin investment. It does really suck when you see an opportunity but you dont have the funds to put on.If you can able to find ways then it would be great but if not then you would sit down and seeing the opportunity is passing away.
7018  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will control the world economy!!!!! is it true? on: September 17, 2017, 11:20:17 AM
I cant even imagine that a currency like dollars and bitcoin could control the world economy. Simply because they are just things, but what will bitcoin do in the world economy is that it will improve it. Those who adapt bitcoin as exchange will see great changes like lower unemployment rate land for those who are not will be left behind.
Bitcoin control the economy of the world? Maybe yes but in good way, because bitcoin give chance the unemployment people to have a job. Moreover, the people who have fair salary can get additional income to provide the things they want to have.
It can really help in the sense that people do give an opportunity to have a job and making money out of bitcoin but somehow useless because those earnings cant really be taxed and im sure those people wont really be paying taxes unless if he is really concerned on the economic state of their country but seeing that this thing is impossible on most cases this is why i cant see that bitcoin would able to give impacts on this matter.
7019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do banks feel about crypto on: September 16, 2017, 12:38:51 PM
What do you guys expect for crypto future? It is clear that crypto is growing and won't stop any time soon as it gets more recognised and user friendly. Governments and banks want to have control over the money as they can control prices, taxes, activity, take advantages and a lot more. Here comes the crypto with baby steps starts to real recognition as it has grown quite big in the recent time.
Now you have China blocking ICO and jumping on bitcoin exchanges, CEO of JPMorgan making comments, here is US with IRS and they also feel left out. It is clear that they are losing side as they are being left out of taxes, feed and control. There was many statements that crypto technology should be government crontrolled (actually centralized) because of "scam".
Ok in one hand there is bunch of ICO scam coins without any technology or idea but just making owners rich. It is true that some investors lose to make others rich but then again that is natural in any trading. But let's be serious no government or businessman give a shit about who is getting scammed because they look for themselves. So looking on it It is clear that banks, giants and some governments are worried about it.
Just on commonsense.Bank and government wouldnt really like Bitcoin for sure they dont like a decentralized thing which this thing would really acts up as an enemy when it comes into finances and on handling transactions. If people would able to find out bitcoins existence and into its usage for sure people will jump out and used the new way payment system.
7020  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Slot Glitches and Bounties on: September 16, 2017, 12:13:28 PM
Hello ! I just wanted to see if anyone has ever been paid for finding glitches in online slot machines? Ive read that companies pay a bounty depending on the severity. whats the highest payment paid out for a glitch?

Lets say someone were to find a glitch how would that person go about proving the glitch exists without getting stiffed by the slot company?
As being said above slot companies mostly on gambling sites do really give bug bounties which you can able to earn bitcoins if you do report some bugs.Bounty would really depend on how serious is the bug is which means prices would really differ depending on the level of bug and thats how companies would calculate.Dont hesitate if you do find some and make a complaint on it.You will surely be rewarded.
