First I noticed here is balance - 6.5 BTC  . You have only 1 captcha, and i saw faucets like this drain by bots in minutes, so you are not afraid of bots? Second you don't have any adds on faucet, only a-adds space, but no one is advertising, and I am not sure that you will get so much money from adds for 1BTC giveaway And if someone hit 1BTC today, i don't think you will earn it back in 1 day, and if this faucet get 6 hits, it is 4500$, do you think a-ads can cover that? I have previously posed this question to Genesis-Mining; if all else stays the same but the Bitcoin reward is halved, will the mining shares still be profitable? They did not provide a clear answer. I have asked Genesis-Mining again the same question and I have copied in the support question I sent them:

If you make the assumption that EVERYTHING except the Bitcoin block reward stays the same, will Bitcoin mining with Genesis-Mining still be profitable? i.e. Your costs stays the same, difficulty stays the same, Bitcoin price stays at $415,- and no other factors change; the ONLY thing that change is the reward from 25 BTC to 12.5 BTC.

There are a number of coins that have gone through a reward halving, like Litecoin and Dogecoin, although not as heavily traded as Bitcoin, but still it does not appear to have had the effect of a price increase or an increased demand.

Its not profitable, you will never hit roi, maybe after 4 years, and that is one big IF. Rewards are halved, but you have to pay electric bills, which is pretty the same as it was before halving, so you will actually earn 4,5,6 times less than before, not 2X |

I have a friend of mine who is complaining to me why the reward depreciated enormously right after the halving happened. I think it has yet to happen but he is insisting he used to made 0.002 bitcoin for a day in eobot, and now the he can barely make 0.0006 bitcoin per day.
If this is truly the case new generation of mining are needed or all the mining websites will close down really soon now.
Its because people didn't calculate fees before investing. Explain this to your friend: he earned every day before halving BTC0.0028, and paid BTC0.0008 electricity. Rewards are halved, and now he is earning BTC0.0014, but he still has to pay electricity BTC0.0008, so he actually get BTC0.0006 . Fees are only for example, i don't know real fees of EObot, but that is much it. |
