7001  Other / Off-topic / Homeless people wearing barcodes to accept cashless payments on: August 10, 2018, 06:42:25 PM
Poverty in human society is mostly artificial. If you don't believe this, take a look at the ants, bees, butterflies, birds, lions, antelopes & all animal societies... where do you see poverty or such shameful dependence?
In my opinion, the goal may be to make people poor & dependent on an upcoming evil system. Individual prosperity could be criminalized in such system.

Homeless people are wearing barcodes around their necks in an attempt to increase donations in a cashless society, under an Oxford University backed initiative.
A new social innovation project, called Greater Change, hands homeless people a QR code, similar to the kind issued for online tickets.
Passersby who wish to give money - but who may not have any change in their pocket - can scan the code using their smart phone, and make an online payment to the person.
The donation goes into an account which is managed by a case worker who ensures that the money is spent on agreed targets, such as saving for a rental deposit or a new passport.
“The problem we’re trying to solve here is that we live in an increasingly cashless society and as well as this when people give they worry about what this money might be spent on,” Alex McCallion, founder of Greater Change, told the BBC.
“So the solution we’ve come up with is a giving mechanism through your smart phone with a restrictive fund.”...

7003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Idea for an ICO rating Site? on: August 08, 2018, 04:27:33 PM
I would be amazing at rating ICO's. Heres the real problem though

1. MOST people are terrible investors, and the people who won't admit it and doge a finanical advsior buy shit projects. If you only post HQ ico's or projects, the terrible investors will be less willing to invest. Most good ICO's are extremely rare ( 1/500) and most good coins or projects have high evaluations so terrible investors are not interested. They want the cheap hot alts, or the bitconnects.
(Posting good ICO's wont get much traffic because you wont be posting a review every week since only a few ICO's have really shown to be good investments long term )

2. If you post reviews on new and upcoming ICO's you are wasting your time. 99% of ICO's and coins are bad investments, even if they are profitable. ( look at bitconnect ) A good investor knows that a profitable coin doesnt mean it was a good investment. Which is why you shouldnt short a cryptocurrency ( different lesson ) So by posting reviews of shit projects you are wasting your time because there won't be much content in the review since it is a terrible coin.

Summary: ICO review sites suck with content because a good investor will do research on their own. Bad investors will go to the sites to look for investments, but if you are looking to make benificial work and profit for your efffort then it's not a good idea.

Everything has to be reviewed,(every single ico on the Internet if possible) including those that are of extremely low quality.
All that matters is that the bad ones will rank below on the ICO rank list

Solution is sustainable living.

Whatever life we choose to live should be like the Good Bacteria living in human gut. They depend on us and we depend on them
No need to start thinking of population reduction or stuff like that. Our relationship with mother earth should be symbiotic like the good bacteria.

We should Plant more trees,  recycled more, use more biodegradable materials, punish people who harm the environment, use clean and renewable energy.

You seem to underestimate Politicians,  Security people and Human beings in general. We are capable of mindless actions when under emotional influence or propaganda.
Who will ever believe that important religious figures would support Hitler with his alleged murderous activities or here in my place, who would believe that well educated people will help put an uneducated tyrant and religious fanatic in power.

Humans are unpredictable especially in matter of life and death. Always prepare yourself for the worst.
7008  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade Vs HODL on: August 05, 2018, 06:20:05 PM
Both are ok. I hold part of my Crypto and trade the other part. It is a good to be decentralized as much as possible.
Putting all your eggs in one basket can be very rewarding if market goes your way and very dangerous if market goes against you.
7009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why BTC is not adapted into business?? on: August 05, 2018, 06:14:14 PM
Lack of propaganda is an interesting one, lol. I guess you mean inadequate publicity...
Well some say Bitcoin don't need marketing but I don't think so.

Volatility is a bit of an issue but that won't stop millions of people from adopting, liking and holding Bitcoin.
7010  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: August 05, 2018, 06:08:36 PM
The possible reason price of altcoins are linked to the price of Bitcoin is because the price movements are caused mostly by crypto traders

The phenomenon is more pronounced when serious investments stop flowing into  altcoins or Bitcoin.

Great news normally move the price of Cryptocurrencies but  not anymore?
I would have suggested increase in marketing and  project development... unfortunately none seem to work very well these days.

Market is pretty much unpredictable these days.
7011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I hold my altcoin for years in my wallet? on: August 05, 2018, 05:34:09 PM
Ofcourse you can. but be sure the tokens aren't scams. Be sure their ideas are feasible, they have great Roadmap, the projects have good potentials  and their developers are credible.
7012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can go wrong! on: August 04, 2018, 09:37:01 PM
* Only Invest what you can afford to lose.
* I forgot to analyze the market... I traded on impulse or based on advice from random guys on the Internet. Paid dearly for the mistakes
* Don't Forget to Diversify. Diversification works well in bull market though.
* Always reserve good amount of money in stable coin for buying important dips.
7013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will end the hype of ICO ? on: August 04, 2018, 09:01:25 PM
Governments have to regulate the Internet first before they can be able to regulate ICO. If they succeed in the regulating ICOs they will most likely be able to regulate Decentralized Exchanges and Cryptocurrencies.
I believe a time will come when they will do all this things with little resistance.  We asked for it!

It'll be like in those days People demanded for communism and  got it . Today it  is nolonger fashionable because it nearly destroyed societies.

The most unfortunate thing about bad ideologies is that people who do not believe in them also share in the suffering they bring.
7014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Germany gives tax exemption for bitcoin exchange operators on: August 04, 2018, 02:08:45 AM
Looks like Governments are working even harder to attract and trap these hugh Centralized exchanges...and eventually used them as bargaining tools.
Centralized exchanges are Cryptocurrency major weak points.
Unfortunately only one is taking decentralization seriously.
7015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: May Bitcoin be considered money according to Islam? on: August 04, 2018, 01:37:17 AM
An interesting question is whether Bitcoin is money according to Islam.

Some Islamic scholars do not recognize bitcoin as a currency because one of the conditions that must be met as a currency is that it has a physical form while bitcoin does not meet these requirements. However, basically, bitcoin is created not as a currency but as a digital product that has value. Why is bitcoin now widely regarded as currency? The answer is because bitcoin starts switching functions and is used as goods for trading or investment.

Quote
that must be met as a currency is that it has a physical form

Other virtual currencies(including national currencies) shouldn't be acceptable if that is the case.
Someone above said the religion permits the use of Gold (which does increase in value too), so why not Bitcoin?
7016  Other / Off-topic / The coming of the Lawless One on: August 02, 2018, 05:31:17 PM
Paul to the Thessalonians

  "The Man of Lawlessness
Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.
Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing.. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness."
— 2 Thessalonians 2

IMPORTANT POINTS:

1. that day will not come until the rebellion occurs
This could mean rebellion against the Creator or worldwide rebellion against  authorities/governments?

2. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie
Delusion, according to Wiki is a mistaken belief that is held with strong conviction even in the presence of superior evidence to the contrary. Could the delusion be the signs & wonders from the man of lawlessness or a worldwide denial of the existence of God?

3.  he sets himself up in God’s temple,
The Anti-christ sets himself in God's temple...

The interesting thing about this is that the Jews are expecting the return & worldwide rule of a Messiah (messianic age). It is written both in the Bible and in the Jewish religious book that a Messiah will come to rule the World and usher in peace, happiness and everlasting life. His first & Second coming were actually prophesied. The messiah is in fact Yeshua (Jesus). They were expecting a Messiah when JESUS show up, heal the sick, raise people from death, performed Miracles and die for our sin. He was rejected by many Jews (not all though) because he claimed he's son of God, and spoke against hypocritical  religious leaders. And Knowing his father & mother, they thought he was mere mortal .
The rejection of Jesus at his first coming was prophesied by some Jewish prophets hundreds of years before that time but some Jews were too blind to see.

Second Coming and the Great Deception:

As the Jews continue to expect the coming of the messiah, I think the Creator will deliberately allow the World and Jews get what they want/deserve (the false messiah).
The "Jews" are about to build  the Third Temple where the false Messiah will reign.
And what happens after that ...

              My Theory
The false Messiah will be ushered in by a group of false Jews. Who are the false Jews?  According to Revelation 2:9 - "I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan."
From my research (am not 100% sure): Many years ago, a King with his war - like tribe from Khazar Kingdom in Eastern Europe converted to Judaism. The kingdom was a strong Idol worshippers (just like any other earthly kingdoms in those days). Their elites are believed to be the elites who rule the World today. People erroneously call this group of elites Jews but they really aren't, from my research. They are also part of those who migrated to Isreal after its reestablish by United Nation. It is rumor that their elite founded the freemasonry. Note that the elites are known powerful leaders and businessmen today.

So these elites will build the false messiah his third temple in Jerusalem.  He will rule like a god when he comes. Many will be deceive and worship him like a god because of his magical powers. [The first Temple was built by Solomon but destroyed by Babylon. The 2nd was rebuilt by King Cyrus of Persia but totally destroyed by Roman Empire.  An ancient Prophet called ezekiel prophesied the destruction of the first Temple by Babylon and it happened. JESUS prophecized the destruction of the second Temple. Interestingly Ezekiel also prophecized the building of the third temple]

7017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Idea for an ICO rating Site? on: August 02, 2018, 01:37:49 PM
What do you think can be done to reduce the level of substandard and fake projects in Crypto World? Most ICO ratings sites aren't reliable.

Some  have suggested allowing the substandard devs and scammers to roam freely in order to teach vulnerable investors some bitter lessons. It is a dangerous ideology/idea i don't subscribe to.

Do you have any suggestion that should be developed?

Here are some suggestions i think is worth considering:

Quote
None of the rating sites I know is up to standard as far as transparency is concerned. Most of the websites are controlled by a person or few individuals.

Crypto World is a bit disorganized at the moment. The current creators of Cryptocurrencies are not ready to let go of their hold on "Decentralized" projects. There are lot of businessmen in Crypto world these days but very few ideological developers.

I think having Decentralized rating sites with good reputation system could solve most of the problem especially the transparency issue. There should be set Standards which new Projects that want to be taken seriously must pass through.
The Standards should be created, debated on and set by the Community. [Community could be made up of Developers of top 100 Cryptocurrencies. The developers have to discuss things first within their various communities. For example: Bitcoin main devs agree within their community which standard should be agreed on.]

Some of my set Standards:
1. Project must be Original and Authentic .. . & possibly Unique .
2. How technically sound the project is % (in percentage)
3. Project viability %
4. Project must be well Decentralized % (how Decentralized?)
5. Whitepaper must be free from plagiarism.
6. Coin should not premined above x percentage.
7. There should be Proof of concept or something.
8. Developer/Developers should be X experienced.
9. How hack proof or secure is the project % (in percentage)
Etc...

* Rating Standards can be divided into different layers as numbered above. Project/ICO would pass through each layer and get rated by algorithm and human evaluators.
*The raters or evaluators should be good algorithms and people with well deserved reputation.
* Human evaluators could be paid in the system Coin.
* System should be designed in such a way that Human evaluators who are found  ignoring, over-rating or under-rating are automatically kicked out or suspended.
* Rating from Algorithm should placed side by side of the rating of human. Example: final rating of a particular ICO/Project could be like this:
Algo Rating = 38%
Human Rating = 42%
* Project that wants to pass through rating should purchase reasonable amounts of the system Coin.

7019  Other / Off-topic / When elitism becomes very useful on: July 31, 2018, 07:03:42 AM
There are things you are sure are harmless and beneficial to society. You have done all your research and absolutely sure they are the right choice.. but the majority opposes.

It is either you leave the old society and start a new one to test such ideas or you introduce them secretly.

Few believers from every sphere of life are probably the ones to help seed the ideas secretly.

Evil elitism is what should be discouraged.
7020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I continue to invest? on: July 29, 2018, 08:50:06 PM
I had invested one ICO previously, it failed although I didn't contribute a huge amount on it. A news yesterday made analysis on blockchain ICO projects, mentioning 92% of these ICO projects are failed.. Should I stop investing the others or any really potential ICO suggest?

Hello Sir,

I think you mean that 92% of China based ICO projects are failed. I saw similar posts in some crypto news websites, but I think its more like FUD. Banks and government institutions doesn't like it and in my opinion a lot of ICOs which failed are basically scammers and behind them there is/are some banker/bankers or other person who is interested to make profit and to make ICOs look like scammers homes. One shoot two kills Wink. I recommend you to keep investing in ICO, but always make good homework, check backgrounds of the team, check website info, make research what they offering. Avoid ICO with promising like "invest now and you will get 3000% profit" or etc. I still trust in ICOs, because the biggest gang of scammers and fraud are bankers... If you compare bankers and ICOs by amount of money which was scammed from people, bankers are light years ahead Wink.

Good advice.
ICOs is the community biggest hope, people don't understand yet. They do not understand how the elite (and agents under their payroll) control things and run the economy.
If billionaires can invest or make donations to projects of their choice, why not the normal people.
