7021  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What to offer my crowdfunding investors on: March 15, 2018, 05:42:19 PM
I have recently started a project to bring my blockchain concept to fruition. I have no funds but I need some so I can pay developers and the rest of my team members as well as uncountable things that require capital with a business. I want to start a crowdfunding page on Indiegogo but I have no tokens so I cannot give my investors tokens in exchange for their investment so what can I offer to compel people to give me capital?

Maybe you can create great content, like books, or maybe even merchandising. If you are a good writer, then making some useful manuals and guides about the crypto world is always a good approach.
Now, if you explain better what is your project about, maybe we can offer better help.
7022  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How did you learn blockchain development? on: March 15, 2018, 02:57:52 PM
Here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Category:Technical
there is a lot of information in the Bitcoinwiki, You will find technical information really useful to understand what is behind the blockchain technology.
To me, it is the best first step to take in order to get information.
I hope it helps you, mate
7023  Other / Meta / Re: Earning merit points by being a cry baby! on: March 15, 2018, 02:50:50 PM
Even when I guess you are just being sarcastic (in order to get merits), it is better if you stop right now making that kind of publications and better just grab a book. I recommend to you the one called "Mastering Bitcoin", just pick the link here>: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mastering_Bitcoin, download it, and please make useful contributions to this forum.
I am sure this is a much better way to earn merit rather than being sarcastic and shameless.
7024  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: China will block all sites related to cryptocurrency and ICO on: March 14, 2018, 04:31:40 PM
It is better if you share your font...
Well, they are against scamming and fraudulent ICOs, as Google itself. To say the truth, from the last month there are a lot of new ways of pishing, scamming &co.
Now, China has been known by their opposition to crypto, so I am not surprised about them pursuing, as other platforms, all this new scamming and fraudulent activities involving ICOs and some other crypto.
7025  Economy / Economics / Re: do you think bitcoin is controversial ? on: March 14, 2018, 04:17:37 PM
as we know so many reason to make controversial bit coin currency in practical or real media sanitation. if  we observe very carefully  few past few years we have seen that  criminal activities  or occurrence  are occurred by the help of hackers and trader make it famous moving thousand of dollars outside by cheating  with government law enforcement for that reason value of bitcoin increasing very high. even they make money away from center bank and government unable to hold money from general people and through this process people convert this money into different things. i think this is enough for making controversial and what do you think about my think ?
I don't think we can say the criminal activities have occurred from the last past years by the help of hackers. No. Criminal activities are all over the world. They occur every day in many manners, and they don't reside only in the hands of the internet.
Besides, on the internet, there are many criminal activities, and not all (only a few, probably) are related to cryptocurrencies. So, no, I don't believe those are the mean reasons why bitcoin is controversial (we are talking, as you pointed out, just about Bitcoin).
To me, the most controversial part of Bitcoin (and the cryptoworld in general) is that: for the first time in History, money is not made by a few, but by the people. This hasn't happened before! Normally, there is an elite controlling the system, controlling the people. But, now, this elite can be anyone.
In the other hand, politics are based on economics. One country has power over others just because of it (apparently) has more economical power. They demonstrate it by their big enterprises, by their money (which can print anytime they want) and by their debts (how much other countries owe them). So, basically, global economy is based on the speculation of a few (rulers of the world).
Now, imagine a new kind of power emerging. One they can't even control, one they can't even completely understand. Of course, they are afraid, for anyone, any country now can raise beyond their power!
Illegal acts related to money are always going to happen. But this is not only related to Bitcoin (or crypto), but to diamonds, marijuana, gold, silver... and whatever you imagine. Where there is money, there is corruption. But this is "normal" in such a greedy specie as the human. The freedom of money... well this is the first attempt in the history of creating this!!
7026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google ban crypto ads. on: March 14, 2018, 03:52:41 PM
I don't think it's for the Cryptocurrency market is certainly have an impact, but for now the influence of national policy for the whole Cryptocurrency market is bigger, so the United States today's hearing becomes very critical.

They are against mostly untruthful ICOs and spammers. Last year they have to fight about millions of pishing ads, most of them about new currencies and about making fast money. I believe they are not such as bad news as it seems, for they, probably, will fight all those pishing and scammers that are contaminating the web.
Besides, they don't specifically declare yet what is going to be their politics about it. They just have said they are going to pursue illegal activities, scamming and pishing related to crypto and other "finantial products".
Lets relax, wait and see.
7027  Economy / Speculation / Re: panic or to be calm on: March 14, 2018, 03:47:05 PM
I remember ten years ago in my country, oranges lost all their value, so the orange producers resolved to threw them up instead of harvest them, losing all their money, but they wanted to protest about the speculation: markets were buying oranges to Africa, so they were cheaper due to the slavery.
Now,  a couple of weeks after all producers threw up their product, there were a huge demand of oranges by the north of Europe, for all the African remittances were lost or something (I can't recall).
Yes. Speculation ruined too many people, mostly all of these desperate producers that decided to throw up their oranges due to the costs of production and the prices they were going to got.
When the price of BTC falls down, I always remember the oranges in my country. If they just have wait a bit longer, they would be able to sell their oranges at any price. But, due to their (comprehensible) desperation, they lost everything.
7028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google will ban ICO and crypto ads? on: March 14, 2018, 03:16:36 PM
I understand how this is really concerning to the crypto world, for it shows the ICOs, Cryptos, and Exchangers like something "underground" to the public. But, as I've read, the battle seems to be mostly against ICOs, for much of them was just scam. This is by the hand with US politics of persecution of fraudulent ICOs.
Well, let's analyze the panorama:
Google's statement says:  it will change its existing financial product restriction list in June this year, blacklisting ad content including but not limited to initial coin offerings (ICO), cryptocurrency exchanges, cryptocurrency wallets, and cryptocurrency trading advice (...) The restriction will apply both to Google's proprietary and affiliated advertisement platforms.
That's, initially, means:
- They are not going to accept Youtube videos related to the cryptoworld in any sense.
- They will not publish anymore adds about those topics.
- They said nothing about their search engine.

Ok, so they are not going to allow all that stuff in their financial products. But, what are they? What that's mean? Well, financial products can be anything related to finances, including banks, exchanges of "common money", etc. The last year google deleted more than 350.000  adds and canceled more than 7.000 Adworks accounts due to their infractions, related all of "making fast money" and this kind of pishing and stuff.
Now, they vaguely are talking about how they are going to do the same with cryptos. So, in "doing the same" they mean they are going to pursue all the "crypto financial products"? I don't think so. As the company has told, they say they are going to pursue the "speculative and no regulated" ones.
We all have been seeing how from the last months crypto coins are being regulated in so many countries. So, do you really think google is going to forbid publicity per equal to all crypto?

Now, if they demonetized YouTube videos and blogs dedicated to crypto, and forbid all the publicity about them it is going  to be serious, of course.
But, in my opinion, it is not going to happen. I think this is just about ICOs and spamming.
Do not forget one thing: Google makes millions in publicity. Millions. They, for sure, are not interesting on losing all the crypto world publicity is giving to them. Besides, when a statement of such an importance is launched in such vague terms, I never believe it.
Changes are going to happen, of course. But I don't believe they are going to be as severe as we all are afraid off today...
7029  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: YOUR TOTAL BEGINNERS GUIDE TO CRYPTOCURRENCY and BITCOINTALK on: March 14, 2018, 01:42:48 AM
Good job!!! It was truly necessary to create such a nice thread here for Beginners and help.
Thanks for your contribution.
I would add Bitcoinwiki in order to newbies to know how they can find some useful information about how both the forum and the blockchain technology works! There they can download also some interesting books about Bitcoin which I feel they will find useful enough.
7030  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: March 13, 2018, 11:31:02 PM
On the off chance that you need to anticipate bitcoin cost increment or diminishing appropriately you require embrace learn about bitcoin and exchanging examination or refresh yourself everyday news, I think nobody control bitcoin. It's free the majority of the control

Predict... we can't predict anything, but by analyzing the details day by day, we can see some patrons to follow. I've thought about that many times, and I believe those who dedicate every day to look for news, transaction orders and more, maybe can find a patron in the behavior of the prices. I haven't done such a thing, to be honest, but everything has a patron, everything, even when we can't see it.
So if you want to discover this patron in order to make your guessing more accurate, I believe you can.

Wow those are some nice huge wins! bitdice profit keeps going down lol. anyways good to see some high roller action. Cheesy

Look at this, happened few hours ago.

wow, that some nice streak, hope this guy doeesn't take all the bank roll.

I will keep an eye on this rollers, is always nice to see people win tons of coins. For sure is a big pain or the casino, but sometimes people just big win.

The fun fact is: 90% of people who win big, always give the money back to the casino. Lot of people bet without a limit, and that usually end bad because the limit for those is zero. As i say, go big or go home.
7032  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: golden rules a newbie getting into crypto currencies must know and adhere to? on: March 13, 2018, 04:01:33 PM
Man I am overwhelmed with information on how to start my crypto journey. If you have any golden tips/rules to live up to, please share

Maybe you should start by don't feel overwhelmed!!
In Netflix you have a documentary about bitcoin. Is not bad, and also really interesting, for in there you will see how bicoin was developed and meet some of the mean names involved in its creation. This is not going to teach you how to trade or invest, but at least you will have a good panorama about the history and the issues the cryptoworld had and have to resolve (legal terms, tech discussion and so).
There are books related to Bitcoin where you can learn how the blockchain works:
- Blockchain Revolution: How the Technology behind Bitcoin Is Changing Money, Business and the World by Don and AlexTapscott
-  Mastering Bitcoin: Unlocking Digital Cryptocurrencies by Andreas M. Antonopoulos
- Blockchain: practical implications of a revolutionary technology for financial markets and beyond by DLA Piper (Global Law Firm)
Also besides the forum, you have the "Bitcoinwiki", where you can learn a lot about how this works: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Category:Educational
I recommend to you the educational section, and if you pick the "Mastering bitcoin" one you will be lead to some great content:
Bitcoin.org Developer Documentation

Mastering Bitcoin from O'Reilly (DRM-free book; May 2015 edition)
EPUB format
PDF format
Mastering Bitcoin: Programming the Open Blockchain from O'Reilly (DRM-free EPUB; June 2017, 2nd edition)
GitHub page
author's book page

Mastering Bitcoin is one of the best books about bitcoin, it is easy to understand and has good contents for begginers.

As you will see, there are many sections in there where you can find useful information. Just be curious and check out this page in order to get information.

Also, here in the forum you have a lot of threads related to how it works, but I understand it can feel "messy" for beginners, because each day there are a lot of new threads and it is easy to feel lost. So, maybe the first step is always to read those threads you consider to be interesting or useful for you, even before opening new ones or writing in here.
Welcome to the cryptoworld my friend!

7033  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Dark use of Bitcoin on: March 13, 2018, 03:42:34 PM
First of all, Bitcoin as a type of currency can be used for good or evil, there is not any difference between it and paper money. Paper money is used nowadays to buy and sell illegal weapons, drugs, and etc. Bitcoin is not the only cryptocurrencie. In fact, I believe the most used crypto for dark stuff is Monero, for it can't be traceable. Monero is also the most used currency on the deep web, which, as you should know, contains the wide illegal activity on the web (the clear web only disposes of minor crimes, to be honest). Now, as a new method of payment, of course, it can imply illegal actions, but it is not different from paper money, or, for instance, diamond illegal traffic, and a long etc.
Regarding your mean question (if anybody here has used BTC for illegal activities), well, I don't see a panorama where people here are going to confess to you such information, by obvious reasons.
Nevertheless, since the beginning cryptocoins (monero the most) has been used for dark activities, but do not forget every day paper money is used for this as well. Euro, Yuang, Dollar... they are daily the protagonists of war, illegal trading, slave traffic...
Where there is money, there is cruelty, for where there is humanity there is as well, cruelty.

7035  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-10] Venezuelan President Claims Petro Pre-Sale Raked in $5 Billion on: March 13, 2018, 03:03:27 AM
Absurd. $5 million and no ways to demonstrate the accuracy of his speech. As usual, corrupted governments and tyrant ones trying to create a smokescreen about what's really happening in their countries (all the human rights being attacked, people starving to death, war and misery). I just can't stand looking those ones celebrating a fake victory where there is only injustice.
Petro is only in the pre-selling stage. This is not even in poloniex or another serious exchanger. So Maduro is announcing smoke. What kind of exchanger with the blockchain technology would ever support a dictator??
Now, the fundamental base of petro was supposed to be oil. Nevertheless, there is not even a tiny fundament of how much oil do they actually have, how much coins are they actually going to produce and so. This is just a circus
As Romans used to say: "Panem et circenses", but, sadly, in the case of Venezuela there is not panem (bread).
This is just more and more "circenses" (circus) in order to maintain their external politics looking good, despite the suffer from their own people.
I would never buy such an aberration as petrol, even less in their current political situation.
Just... outrageous... absurd... oppresive...
7036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IN 10 years. on: March 12, 2018, 07:37:10 PM
Interesting question. In ten years I see...
... Bitcoin is going to be usually used by most of the people.
... Cryptocurrencies are going to be seen as a normal part of the economy, as an asset and a normal way to pay for services.
... There will be new Cryptocurrencies made by governments, so maybe we all see "cryptodollars", "cryptoeuros..."
... Blockchain technology will be used for many other things rather than just "assets", it will supplant MySQL, for instance, and will be used to manage information in many ways.
... As the blockchain technology becomes more and more accurate, the resultant coins will be different from the ones we know today. Bitcoin, maybe will suffer several forks, or maybe even will become something else.
... Maybe Bitcoin will be remembered as the first successful attempt of crypto money in history, and probably it will be changed with the passing of the years, or, who knows, perhaps it will disappear as we know it today.
I am quite sure cryptocurrencies are here to stay. Despite many people believe, I don't see governments forbidding those assets, but joining this new technology and trying to make it theirs. I see a future where Cryptos are as much important to the daily economy as it is printed money nowadays.
Also, we must take a look at the technology we have today: smartphones are becoming the way you pay, the way you take a plane... and the internet is the way we work, live, and even love. Now, Internet money is going, probably, to become as much important as the internet is today. Besides, technology obviously is going to continue developing new appliances, and even credit cars are going to be seen as useless, for we are going to pay everything with our own devices.

7037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the Biggest Bubble in Human History? on: March 12, 2018, 04:29:48 PM
Every money system is based on the trust of few. Historically, money was founded in a system of debts, where a third-part just has to sign out a paper, a promissory note, where it was specificated the amount of the debt (in work, silver, gold, cows, chickens, whatever) and this paper  has, itself, the value of the debt. Now, debts could be bought by any person interested in having the debt to him/herself, so they speculated about the value of the debt (for instance, 3 cows).
Now, the paper (promissory note) itself has no value at all, it was just a "trust system" based on debts.
This is how banks and such kind of institutions were formed. For they absorbed the debts, they bought them and the debt was with them. So printed paper is something like a book of accounts, and no more.
Bitcoin is the same but without the third-part. It is an agreement where thousands (maybe millions) are implied, and the "book of debts" is public for everybody to take a look. So there is not a chance to just printing more, fake ones, in order to say to the world "Look all the money I have" (money made by air).
As an economic system, Bitcoin is much more trustful than paper-money, for it cannot be printed aleatory.
As money, it works the same as the printed-one: it is not the paper who owns the value, but the transaction itself.

7038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need to double 4,000 USD in 2 weeks on: March 12, 2018, 03:59:30 PM
As everyone here has told you, this is really difficult to duplicate your money in just two weeks. I am curious: why two weeks? If you have such an amount maybe you can play it wisely investing in middle-long terms. To be in a rush is always, at least, counterproductive!
Long terms:
- Btc is low right now, and it is possible for it to pump soon enough (not in two weeks, but soon)
- ETH is a perfect long-term investment as well.
CLAM coin generates 0.1% profits each day automatically, and it was mentioned yesterday by John Oliver, a great influencer, so, who knows? maybe it will raise it's price soon and the profits can be great.
Nevertheless, do not forget every speculation is like gambling here. So, if you just have this 2 weeks, then gambling is your only choice. To me to gamble such an amount is not wise, it is much better to invest them and wait almost a year.

But that's just my opinion. Best of luck!
7039  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Any idea for poor people? on: March 12, 2018, 03:44:04 PM
As we already know there are a lot of poor people in every country of the world, they surely do not have access to the internet and as the digital money is changing the world people are debating over the existence of real money all the virtual money. And as we know the government and the banks are printing more and more money which is reducing the initial value of the physical currency and all of this is going to be most painful for them. So now people are switching to the digital world so what should we do for the poor peoples should we make a system or let them take their life. I think if somehow we can make them literate then that is going to reduce the number of poor people in a country.

The global economy is based on inequality. In order for some countries to be rich, there exist others in poverty, providing the cheap workforce for great enterprises become more and richer. This is obviously unfair on so many levels, but also how the system works.
If you want people to stop being poor, there is too much that needs to be done, and it will take decades or even centuries.

Crypto world can maybe be a tiny first step to drive humankind into equality. But, as every history process, it is going to be slow and bloody.
Now, to build computers, phones, and such, there are illegal mines in Africa, were children lives in horribles conditions. Us, in the first world, just can go to a shop and buy a phone, a computer, clothes, &.co, made by slaves. How to change that?? All my life I've tried to spend my money only on fair stuff, but this is impossible to achieve.
How can we change this huge system?? I dare I can.

Where did you read it?? Do you have the link to this?
All I found related is: http://blocktribune.com/crypto-firm-gcox-signs-manny-pacquiao/

In the note, there is said it is a kind of "Celebrity tokens", and it is done by an exchanger page. The goal seems to be to sell tokens based on celebrities.
I don't see this as a serious project, and they don't explain in detail what it is about!
