7021  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the best online bitcoin wallet on: August 09, 2015, 11:54:46 AM
I wanna know what is the best online bitcoin wallet  To start with

none of them are the best bitcoin wallet for storing bitcoin. for that you should use other methods and wallets for more security.

but if you want to have an online wallet, you can try blockchain.info or Coinbase but all of them will have different sorts of problems associated with them.
7022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I doubled my bitcoin in last 3 months. How do you make money(bitcoin) online? on: August 09, 2015, 11:52:23 AM
if you are not going to share the way that you doubled your coin (according to yourself!!) then remove the part about doubling from the title and the post.

i don't see any reason why you mentioned it when you are not going to talk about it!
7023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is crashing. Why? :( on: August 09, 2015, 11:50:00 AM
Why is it crashing?

it most definitely sucks to see the bitcoin price go down. but i don't call it a crash since it has not gone so far down. the $10-20 price change is something normal for the volatility of bitcoin.
7024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become the best technology ? on: August 09, 2015, 11:47:28 AM
bitcoin is definitely the best in its own category but not the best technology over all. i mean there are far more better technologies that are more useful.

but in financial field and the crypto world it definitely is the best thing so far.
7025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cannot Be Deleted on: August 09, 2015, 11:45:16 AM
i think bitcoin can never die, unless something better comes along that an replace it and be used just like bitcoin without some of its faults. and in that case i don't see bitcoin dying completely and only be used less.
7026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: #EarnBitcoin on: August 04, 2015, 07:49:20 AM
I'm waiting for STEAM to accept Bitcoin, who's with me? Grin

why waiting for that if you have something like https://steambitshop.com/? they have not all the games from steam, but still there is a great repertory
Don't you understand, if I buy in site like that the price must be more expensive than buying on Steam itself.

uhm no, they are the same price, the real difference is that the real steam has more deals and better deal overall, also many more games, that's all

those site are great no need to wait for steam to accept bitcoin, like we no need amazon to accept bitcoin, when open bazar is coming

it is a price you have to pay if you want to be able to buy your steam games with bitcoin, you do not get the fancy sale prices but do contribute to the bitcoin economy. It might cost extra, but it would benefit the bitcoin as a whole to grow and thus make your coins grow too. And yes, just like the $ 2m pizza, you might end up having a steam game that when looking back would have cost you even more if you did HODL those coins, but the coins will never go anywhere if we all hold them, you cannot reach the moon if you hold the rocket back.

yeah and with the bitcoin price rising i don't like spending my bitcoin for buying steam games without any discount and the same or even higher price in comparison with buying directly from steam.

i hope steam accepts bitcoin someday soon so we can use it directly and don't rely on third parties for using out bitcoin.
7027  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good websites to Invest My Bitcoins? on: August 04, 2015, 07:44:05 AM
Which websites are good places to invest your bitcoins into? I got 0.1 BTC ready to invest, so please tell me good suggestion.

NO PONZI, NO SCAM sites please, i want legit and good return investment sites Smiley

Edit: Give website links please, most of you just give vague examples, i want concrete websites listed here that I can choose from!

i personally invest my bitcoins in altcoin trading markets. because there are good opportunities for making more bitcoin from trading some altcoins.

the exchangers that i prefer are bittrex and cryptcy because of them being easy to use and no bullshit registration like what polo is asking for.
7028  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: August 04, 2015, 07:39:52 AM
Anyone here making good profit on Primedice?

yes, the owner( Stunna )

LOL ... Smiley

This is actually one of the funniest things I have ever read on btctalk.

i don't know why people are looking for making profit through gambling. looking at the sob stories the numbers are not small. it is no secret that only the site profits from all the bets and nobody else is getting rich by gambling.
7029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: August 04, 2015, 07:33:42 AM
For me gambling is just for fun, i play gambling when i just fist know Bitcoin. Gambling and bitcoin is helping my life i know earn some money from gambling is not good but i think gambling is fix my life not in good life but a bad life -_-

yeah, gambling is never going to fix anybody's life. maybe the life of the big time professional gambles who bet and earn a ton of money this way. but not small time gambles and specially not gamgling on dice which is very popular among bitcoin users
7030  Economy / Gambling / Re: How could you find Investors/Funders for gambling website? on: August 04, 2015, 07:24:34 AM
Other than being respected in the community and being known for a trustworthy person and having a good idea, what other ways to find funders and investors?

I would like to start a gambling website for mainly PvP so it will need fairly little starting capital since people will be playing against each other rather then the house so there is no house edge , we will only take the rake from each bet  people play.

This might require a loyal good quality freelance developer (to develop first then to maintain it safe forever) in the pay loop and designer to make it look good , marketing will be done by me and all of this might cost some coins and I do not have it , my budget right now is about 100$ or slightly more , I might need a starting capital of 1000$ first and after that I might go with the earnings or maybe will need bigger funds to market even more the get more attraction.

you either have to be known/respected or whatever so that investors would trust you with their money or you have to provide some sort of guarantee of return for them. unless you want some sort of crowdfunding investment like some gambling sites do (invest in bankroll) which again needs trust and you will need to have an old service.
7031  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much do you think 1 Bitcoin will be worth in 2020? on: August 04, 2015, 07:20:27 AM
The answer to this question cannot be given right now.
We should wait until block halving to see the prices.
If it will be positive then Bitcoin prices can skyrocket.

i sometimes hope that the skyrocket thing never happens, and we continue to see some sort of stable price rise every month which makes bitcoin a reliable investment instead of a high risk plaything that can make you a lot of money and at the same time make you regret your decisions.
7032  Economy / Speculation / Re: I am short... on: August 04, 2015, 07:17:58 AM
Since 285 and want to commit suicide now.
which number should i call?

Please help me and all other bears!!!!!
if you want to follow a day-trading type pattern, you can try and ride the high and lows for quick profit; however, this is obviously risky.

i think it is safe to say that you should first learn to how to take risks and cut losses and then enter bitcoin trading market. because otherwise you are going to lose all your investment and get depressed over it
7033  Economy / Speculation / Re: The inevitable is upon us... on: August 04, 2015, 07:13:35 AM
the 10,000 USD/ coin seems to me like a long shot and a dream of bitcoin holders that want to become millionaires in one night.
this sort of inflation requires a mass adoption of bitcoin and falling of the current banking system which leads to people looking for a substitute. this doesn't look like happening to me in at least 10 years.
7034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sooooo China, isn't this shameful? on: August 04, 2015, 07:10:47 AM
15 nodes? it shows here that china has 86 nodes. which is still poorly low considering they control the largest part of the total hash power.

Yeah, that could be the truth, As a Chinese, I believe most Chinese who get involved in Bitcoin doesn't have a faith in Bitcoin, and the reason why they are working with Bitcoin is to earn money, I mean the most people, but there are still people who contribute his power to the Bitcoin network selflessly.

yeah, the Chinese are currently in bitcoin for just mining it and earning money by doing so. because of the maintenance costs and electricity it is a profitable act for them.
7035  Economy / Speculation / Re: 21 millions bitcoiners on: August 04, 2015, 07:06:42 AM
if the number of users increase it means the increase in demand which will result in price increase and also when the bitcoin per person becomes low (21 mil bitcoin and 21 mil person using) then it becomes more valuable than what it normally would be
7036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transactions speed prevent us from going to Mainstream ? on: August 04, 2015, 07:01:17 AM
Could this be the reason , It's like 15-20mn to get at least 1 confirmation if I'am correct ?
Anyway the point is that we need some time to get transactions verified , could this actually prevent us from going to mainstream ?  I mean if you want to buy something from McDonald are you supposed to wait 15mn while that's the time of your launch break ?

When you are buying parking tickets are you also supposed to wait few minuts ?  Huh It wouldn't make any sense .

Honestly , I'am not even sure what controls the speed of the transactions .

you are making a minor mistake about transaction speed and confirmation speed. the transaction speed is super fast in matter of seconds but the confirmation speed is longer (minutes).

businesses like McDonald (if they start accepting bitcoin) won't care about the confirmation as long as they see the transaction in their wallet. and in the hundreds of their customers i doubt if there would be even one or two who might scam them and double spend the bitcoin.
7037  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: August 04, 2015, 06:57:28 AM
You can earn bitcoin using cointoli.com

Every sale made via you affiliate link will get you 10% of the product price.
So for example for this product https://www.cointoli.com/?product=118 you'll get 0.29 BTC

Johny

i liked the website. are you just selling scripts like the one you linked to?

is there enough buyers for these kinds of things that we can earn profit by the affiliate program?
7038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've been scammed 5.5BTC. What will you do when your Bitcoin get scammed? on: August 04, 2015, 06:41:13 AM
Hello buddies,

It would be sad story if our bitcoin get scammed.  Cry

But it does happen from time to times, as we are all human beings, we are kind of greedy, we all want more bitcoins, and we all want the bitcoin in our wallet growing and growing ...

Then, we may get scammed by some online games, get scammed by gambling, get scammed by some investment programs, get scammed by ponzi schemes...etc., we send them our bitcoin base on their promising promises, but after the payment we'll never get their delivery as return ...  and we may even get scammed by our best friends as well ...

I've been scammed by a ponzi program called Rockwell Partner, I was scammed 5.5 BTC there.
I could do nothing expect shouting everywhere it was a scammer.

What did you do to fight against the scammers when your bitcoin was scammed?

sorry to hear this.

but scams have been around forever, and it is not restricted to bitcoin. you have to think before investing in anything not after you lost money. but this is not always the case and we have all been there. the only thing to do now is to learn from your mistake and never make the same mistake twice again.
7039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin better than litecoin? on: August 04, 2015, 06:37:09 AM
Is there much differences between litecoin and bitcoin? People so far knows Bitcoin instead of litecoin or Bitcoin-related program likes Ethereum, why Bitcoin is better than litecoin or Ethereum, that's the reason, Most people knows only Bitcoin and most people use Bitcoin only.

in my opinion any sort of cryptocurrency that is created after bitcoin no matter what its name, is irrelevant and can not come near the popularity of bitcoin as long as they are not introducing something new and useful.

litecoin is just a copy of bitcoin with minor differences that doesn't matter to the end user, so it is never going to matter much.
7040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One Coin rises to Number 2 on: August 04, 2015, 06:33:58 AM
it doesn't matter even if it is true and that blah blah coin is the Number 2 coin now. it would be important if it can stay up there for at least a couple of days and not die after a week if being pumped
