Yeah, it's very remotely possible that someone, somewhere might have the same private key as you. It's incredibly unlikely though, and it probably won't ever happen.

Don't bother GPU mining BTC. Use coinchoose and see what coins are most profitable (if any).

Hey Oscura, The main thing to worry about is fraud and security of your coins. The Crypto-currency market is pretty unpredictable I would recommend getting involved with some cheap alt coins if you want to keep the initial outlay low. However Bitcoin is the most prevalent but will cost you more to get involved. If you do work out a formula to make tons of BTC let me know  The 'formula' is super martingale, you're welcome. |

what is your opinion on Labcoin?
I have heard good things about Labcoin, but since I dont have the funds to buy right now, I have not done much research into them. It seems to be a very appealing company. Its different from most of the offering, being the manufacturer of the chips and not just a mining co-op, like Addiction, LabRat. They could be some competion for Asic Miner, which currently has no real completion. I am no expert, but I have spent many hours reading in this forum and elsewhere. Interesting opinion. Personally i will be buying some labcoin shares once the price goes down (if ever) :-) |

I'm looking for this too, but no luck with it.
I have been annoyed by the mobile phone calls noises for a long time and evry night I can't have a good sleep and finally I found that teh cell jammer is a good device for me. A call jammer would not help you buy bitcoin with sms. In fact, it would probably stop you. I think blockchain.info is the best option available atm, although there aren't many options to choose from. |

Bitcoin was not ment to be a storage of wealth. Only complete idiot would consider something that requires fucking network of computers,
man made shits that can't survive flood, EMP and so many other real world threats, and require electricity to even run, as solid foundation.
Do you have any idea how the current banking system modern western society works? Yes, it is not working very well. So you understand that we are already completely dependent on a network of computers, the availability of electricity etc. and that floods, EMPs and other real world threats on a level that would threaten the Bitcoin network would already cause devastation to society? And therefore building a protocol on top of this to be used as a currency and using it as a store of wealth is not much further a stretch? I don't feel like wasting more of my time on you and alikes. Go ahead, put all your wealth into Bitcoin, I'll be glad to see your kind losing all. I think he is trying to tell you that the world economy relies on computers, and would be affected by an EMP attack, just like Bitcoin. He is not saying it is a good idea to store all your money in BTC. |
