7021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Youtube Scam? on: August 17, 2021, 09:41:41 PM
You're right, they are scams. You don't contact people randomly just because there are spams that you've seen in those comments. To mind you that it's not only in YouTube but also in Facebook pages, they're scamming everywhere and the worse is that there are people that really are paying attention to those scams and becomes a victim. Those bots will keep it going and as long as that content creator doesn't have any moderator on his comment sections that should delete the scams, there will be those that will try to contact those scammers.
7022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi network issue on: August 17, 2021, 09:06:08 PM
Just uninstall the app and forget about it. They've been collecting data for so long and yet never delivered something for their downloaders or they call 'mobile miners'. There's no such as easy money and we're from the same country.
It's been a trend because many were not able to purchase for an NFT game that we all know and some sharers have this on different groups and telling that there's nothing that's going to be gone if you ever tried it. You better don't try it as there's no such as easy money.
This thread also belongs to the altcoin discussions.

I already uninstall this app. I agree with you it become trend again to social media because of the NFT games.Other people with lack of knowledge when it comes to crypto currency they thinking it will become true and they will get money by simple installing it and running it to ther devices and by reffering other for a chance to have more Pi token by not knowing the real intention of this app. I install this because I just want to explore the app and to see its potential but I never get any good sides about this thats why I posting it here to get some insight and thoughts about this and now I know the real platform of this app thanks for those who answering in my thread.
That's the misleading part for apps like these. They tend to educate people that it's easy to earn as that with cryptocurrencies but the whole project doesn't even give the profit that those users deserve or are at least eligible at. There's malicious content that the app is getting for those downloads and that's what most of the people that downloaded it don't know about it. Well, good for you that you have finally uninstalled the app because it's going to continue exploiting you guys if you don't ever notice it.
7023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 17, 2021, 08:29:15 PM
Gambling is not bad up to an extent if played with care and if parents let their child do it under their supervision, and don't let their kids fall for its addiction, we don't think that it may ruin a kid's life considering that kids have fear of their parents and they will not commit anything that could cause problems for their parents.
If there are parents that allow their kids to gamble at an early stage, they are open-minded parents but I don't see parents do that casually. It's hard to know if their kids won't fall into addiction because they might find out that their kids are playing even without their supervision. You'll never understand how it is going to happen or if you do, we've been through that process and there's no way to stop that unless there's early prevention coming from the parents. Kids these day, if you give them the favor, they're going to abuse it.

In this you are right, I think the best thing is that children who play do not play online, but play offline, there are many games and there are no dangers of addiction when parents have their full supervision, the danger lies when children play online , and they start to see unwanted advertisements.

In addition, the advantage that they do not play online is that there are no chats where they can interact with the players, there are many who are malicious that can do damage from there.

Yes, there are other things that the parents can do for their children offline and won't show and teach them how to gamble because that will give their children initial thoughts that it is okay to gamble because their parents say so. I agree about having the chat online, they can read things, nasty chats from other people that they don't even know if they will be introduced to it and that's a good solution just to find something to play with offline.
7024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jamaica Adopt cryptocurrency on: August 17, 2021, 07:56:46 PM
The future is bright and that's not only because of Jamaica but it's because of the whole cryptocurrencies market adoption. CBDC is just like the new trend for the government but it's not entirely covering the crypto market. It's just being looked at as crypto because of the adjustment and creation of it but it's better if they create laws or no laws at all that shall not stop crypto adoption for their country. And having that said, it should be for most countries too that will make such laws.
7025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Question to All DOGE HODLers on: August 17, 2021, 02:27:40 PM
Why there are those that don't want to? no one is forcing you to do so and if you don't like to try new things, that's okay. But if there's seem to be a good development with that casino on the dogecoin blockchain, you'll be noticed by the other gamblers and if there's seem to be a good thing that can be found there, why not give it a try? there's not that much that you're going to lose for trying. You can try that with the slightest amount that you can ever do.
7026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which are the best cryptocurrencies for esports betting? on: August 17, 2021, 11:02:04 AM
It would be an easy answer for bitcoin but these days, those people like me don't own that much. We'll look for any other coin to gamble with at the cheapest that we can. As part of convenience, aside from bitcoin, it's either USDT and any other cheap coin that's being supported by the bookie that I gamble, those that don't have the high fee. Well, Ethereum is taking some issues currently with its fee so for USDT, it's either the other chain through TRC20. But as Ivan says, most bookies today are accepting a lot of cryptos for which you're comfortable to bet with.
7027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading's best coin on: August 17, 2021, 09:33:21 AM
Greetings, Trader. I'd want to learn a little more about you. If you're a trader, you may talk about the best trading cryptocurrency on the Kucoin Exchange here.
Bitcoin and Ethereum.
If you're starting, you can start with those cryptos that I've mentioned because they're top 1 and top 2. Liquidity isn't going to be a problem and for newbies.
They are the best choice for starters like you because you get to see their volatility and it's an important thing to check the top of the market first before you extend yourself elsewhere.
This is a good c hoice not only for beginners, but also for an experienced investor. But apart from investing in bitcoin and Ethereum, I always leave 15-20 percent to buy new coins. Such investments are very risky, but they bring me a big profit and which can be used for an additional purchase of BTC.
It is okay to invest in other coins that you seem to think that has a great future. But as usual, you only have to limit yourself from doing so or you put a certain allocation for it and you won't be moving any big portion from your biggest investments from bitcoin and ethereum.
To the newbies there, it's not about the quantity of the crypto that you have to own but it's about the quality and the best that you can have and that's the same with the experienced ones. There are folks that are bitcoin-only investors and they're also great investors because they've got massive amount on it.
7028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 17, 2021, 08:37:00 AM
As a champion, they want a big fight and now, it is a blessing in disguise for him because they did not expect the blessing will come out early. He is not an undefeated fighter, no record to protect, but to fight with the one and only 8th-time world champion, that's a privilege and it's a big success if he wins.
I agree, this match is more of an opportunity for Ugas. If he managed to beat Pacquiao then that he'll set the record and as well as going to increase his rank because he has defeated Pacquiao who is very popular and one of the best boxers in the world. It is truly a blessing in disguise for him and we just wish both of them to fight at their full capacity despite the changes that have happened with those changes that have given them a little timeframe of preparation, honestly, they've been prepared for so long just for their own matches.

If you happen to watch the reaction of Ugas team after learning that he will fight with Pacquiao, they were celebrating like they are about to go to the party. Grin Indeed, this will be a big break for Ugas, if in case he will win over Pacquiao. But am rooting for Pacquaio here. Given the age that they are considering about the major factor that may influence his perfomance, but it also depends on how well he trained for the fight. And I think, he really did train hard because he thought he will be facing Spence Jr.
So there's a video that's searchable about their reaction. That's good to know if they've celebrated upon learning that Ugas' is the exchanged fighter to fight Pacquaio. It is indeed a surprise but also a blessing to him and his team. I'm also for Pacquiao on this match, as this is his sport.
Both fighters are for sure well trained and prepared and I think that they have something for us, it's less than a week. The day is nearly approaching and I think the closer we get, the more tense it goes.
7029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Speedup Transaction on: August 17, 2021, 04:11:57 AM
When you speed up a transaction it is like double spending bitcoin. Your wallet will submit a new transaction with the same nonce as the previous transaction but with a higher gas price. It is only possible for one of these transactions to get confirmed. The unconfirmed transaction will be forgotten and eliminated from the mempool.
This is correct. And this is why you should have the exact amount on my metamask to cover the additional fee that you shall do upon speed up. But it's much better that you've got more than what you're going to send so that it won't get stuck. I've experienced paying the fee exactly then it's estimated to come within an hour but because of the higher fee that has suddenly come, my transaction got stuck for more than 3 hours. I've learned from that but with speed up, it's automatically going with the recommended fee and shall be confirmed asap.

Walang problema yan, basta ethereum wallet to ethereum wallet. I-check mo lang din mismo yung Ethereum wallet address kung tama at goods na yan.

Sir do you have any recommended hardware wallet ? at ano eto sorry newbie ngayon ko lang din kasi narinig yung hardware wallet at ano kaibahan neto sa ibang crypto wallet like trust wallet , metamask at Ronin.
7031  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: August 17, 2021, 01:57:40 AM

7033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 16, 2021, 11:14:10 PM
Those discussions about who shall be the next opponent of Casimero. We've got some beef on the table and I think they're really marketing to have the next match as soon as possible. Whoever is leading this or Casimero himself, just doesn't want to take a long rest after this match. Well, this is just the same discussion as before that has been postponed against Donaire. He would really love to box any of the two. And it's the job of his promoter, they sure want him to fight as soon as possible and have the negotiation already.
7034  Other / Off-topic / Re: Images, Google, Youtube, showing about gambling in Saudi Arabia. on: August 16, 2021, 10:53:33 PM
I'm not going to say about race, ethnicity or about religion because this is not a field I'm in charge of but I've heard about this and it went viral a few years ago.
and as far as I know this is the picture shown known the men are not playing casino gambling. The game played was the Baloot card which was held in Riyadh, in 2018. This tournament, according to Turnbackhoax, was held for 4 days with more than 12,000 players participating with a total prize of one million Saudi riyals for the top four teams. And this is the first time it has been held in an Arab country.
I will not discuss a religion in gambling but as far as I know after reading several sources, it is more precisely what I described above.
apart from Google or YouTube ads, it's a little more realistic because everyone can use this kind of thing, they can just copy-paste the image and replace it with another title, it's very easy to manipulate
Images are easy to manipulate and change the viewers' perspective and reasoning. But with validation and a clear explanation of what's clearly happening, the context will be delivered and explained properly what was happening. At first look, we may really see that it's about gambling but until we don't have the valid reasoning for that image then don't assume that it is. We all know that country prohibits it and so we know that they're following laws not only with their country but also with their religion.
7035  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Sponsor - UFC Official Betting Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: August 16, 2021, 10:06:08 PM
There are people who are more positive on the dogecoin are there. This has happened as a result of the pump provided by the influence of Elon Musk. Now along with his friends the entire cryptocurrency users have an eye over dogecoin. Maybe Watford is indirectly supporting the influencers marketing pattern leaving bitcoin.
We don't know that for sure or if somebody paid for that as well but regardless of the replacement, maybe that could be the reason for it.
There can be a possibility that somebody will have that explanation from this very little detail. But it's much better if they'll just revert it back to bitcoin which is going to show more visibility to our main crypto in the community.

thank you for the research and insights here. it was an hour-well spent reading everything.

hopefully, this project will not progress and if they DO, i hope that those bad allegations will not harm those million users
People should be thankful when they see people giving them the insights that they should just stop hoping for this app and project. They've been too long in all implementations and bringing hype to this project lately. But they cannot push themselves to exchanges.
The devs have already made money from it while what they're boasting of 22 million users, they've taken advantage of those people that are only hoping that they'll get some profit out of it but they're all hoping through empty promises.
7038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: August 16, 2021, 03:36:41 PM
If they are under regulation, they need to require the KYC to their clients, but crypto is decentralized while fiat is not
Yeah, that defeats the purpose of cryptocurrencies if they're going to ask for KYC. But it's a physical casino so that's to be expected that they will implement that whether it's going to be fiat or crypto.

that's why some countries have more strict regulation on crypto so they can really trace the origin of the transaction as that is need for Anti Money Laundering reporting.
There has been a lot of news that I've watched in the past that there were transactions happening in the premises of the physical casinos and these deals include money laundering. It happens for most physical casinos and it involves every possible person that migrates just to have this purpose of their arrival.
7039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will The Sorrow of BTC Be The Pleasure of Altcoins? on: August 16, 2021, 02:38:20 PM
when there is a correction against BTC, almost all altcoins will also experience a correction and tend to be larger, and that has been the case for years
Yes, majority of the altcoins are also going to have their own corrections following bitcoin with that move. From time to time, that's always the thing about bitcoin and altcoins connection and even with Ethereum, it's also affected by bitcoin whenever the price falls.

Bitcoin will remain the strongest.
That's going to be the case as most of the time, bitcoin will remain to be at the top spot all the time. Despite many have thought and tried to pull it down, no one has ever been lucky and succeeded.

in my country, only stupid parents teach or let children play gambling when they are small
children have no income, they will definitely try to make money to gamble by stealing parents' money or doing other negative actions

Gamblers who do not have a fixed income will definitely try to get money to gamble in any way, it cannot be denied
Don't assume that being open-minded by letting children gamble from a young age is a wise parent
Well, those parents don't have much income to sustain their needs. They shouldn't do this to their kid, they shouldn't hope that their kid got lucky and win and even allow them to gamble. That's what happens in some places that there's no that much source of income, they think that gambling can save them. Although there are those people that made their lives amazing and good through it but it also depends to the situation and if they're not having the good situation to do it, they shouldn't do it.
