7021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On what kind of gambling you got maximum reward from betting? on: April 10, 2019, 03:12:17 PM
But i wanna know what does ev actually means ?
EV stands for Expected Value. Its a method of measuring whether the odds are against the player or the player has some odds of winning as well.

Quote
Anyway  , i dont agree that poker is purely dependent on skill , if it is then why i still loose at most times even though i have alot of experience playing a poker or any card game ?   The cards are being shuffle randomly  , its the same as dice games or any other gambling games out there  . but anyway  ,  my huge bet was came out on roulette ( casino based games )  it was done locally because on our place there is a nearby casino .
Poker needs luck as well. What you are holding in your hand is not by skill but you get them by virtue of your luck. Then you apply your skills to outwit your opponent. Its not that you are going to have a skillful game right away. That needs huge amount of experience and practice, something that professional poker players do.

Roulette is also an EV- game so be careful how much you are betting in it. Again local casinos are renowned for rigging games so be careful out there.
7022  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: April 09, 2019, 02:15:55 PM
Good investors that are successful are not made in a day they have to master the art of discipline, patient and learning from one's mistakes. Good investors know when to cut losses we cannot make a profit all the time. There are times that a trader makes lose but reducing is what matter most.
In the first place they are just investors or small time investment bankers. Thats where they rose from. With trading stocks and commodities gradually moving the precious metals and now cryptocurrencies. Although crypto is a new sphere to them some like it while other dont.

I dont think calling some good or bad is our job to do. We should not judge someone like that but rather see what mistakes people have made and search methods not to make them ourselves. In my opinion that is what makes us "good", or rather "better" than others. Skill development has a different importance altogether in trading and investing and being good in that will help us in the long run.
7023  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading experience on: April 09, 2019, 02:11:57 PM
the trading experience of mine was always been ended up with good profit but in Sundays the profit percentage was reduced but still now I can get me income frequently so it will give the satisfying life at the end.
The weekend trading is always a good view to the eyes. We get some good greens or some bad reds. Either way its a good income since you can either sell on profit or buy on dropping. Those who are trading and keeping up with the market will understand the essence of the weekend, its not for every newbie trader out there who just wants to get rich by putting their hands in some shitcoin.

the work pressure is little higher in daily trading but the profit amount is also higher that's why it will manage itself the pressure to be get satisfied but the problem is we don't have the time to take rest and take some relax that is the only problem available in daily trading.
Well truely speaking, day traders do trading as their only job. So if you are not in a position for that then dont try it. Not everything is for everyone. For the rest of the population watching the market and buying low selling high is a safe bet.
7024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever managed to recover your losses? on: April 09, 2019, 02:02:52 PM
I've never recovered my gambling loses by gambling. But I've done so by other means. Gambling is rarely a source of income for anyone.
My gambling experience have made me a better and responsible gambler.
I really doubt how much that is true. Being a gambling addict and a responsible gambler more so a self-entitled one is most of the time false. People call themselves as responsible because they want to hide their addiction since they are ashamed of it but have to give in to it. So they try to make themselves look good in front of others like that.

Quote
With strategy on the amount, nature and time of bet, I can proudly state that I'm in profit for the last 2 years.
LOL Now I seriously doubt your claims. No gambler is ever in a profit for such a long duration while continuously gambling. If you are playing at a proper casino then the house would have wiped out your balance long time back. But If its true then good luck on holding on to that money and not wasting it. Grin
7025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Revival is On The Way - According to a trader on: April 08, 2019, 02:14:46 PM
Besides, there are too many "experts" with their own (wrong) theories.
Talking about those experts, most of them are just dipshit nutheads who are promoting their own scam coins that they have been paid to promote. Who cares about what you buy and if you are buying a shitcoin or not. They want their money and they will poke your instinct in every manner possible so that you buy into their koolaid propaganda. Do not trust any so called "financial advisor" but do your own research. Those guys are the one actually making money from both the coins whom they are promoting and also from the members who are paying them for their advise.

Besides doing a little bit of TA is not tough if you are willing to learn it from the internet writeups. Do that and although it wont be successful everytime but it can be helpful in many ways.
7026  Economy / Economics / Re: How much important bitcoin for entrepreneurs? on: April 08, 2019, 02:10:29 PM
the purpose of the investment is to definitely benefit from the capital for the investment if the money multiplier I think is not so because we also wait for the process of confidence and patience in investing
Dude you wont find a money multiplier in every investment. In fact those who are telling you stories that their platform can give you several times of your capital do not believe in them. Those are mostly ponzis and you are free to put your money in any pyramid scheme out there if you are willing to risk it, I am just posting my opinion.

Crypto will be very important for entrepreneurs to keep up with the times. Entrepreneurs must be able to program for themselves and their companies to be more classy and quality. Crypto provides a good solution for entrepreneurs and this certainly provides positive benefits for its progress.
"Classy"? The first question they face when you say that they accept crypto is that, "Dont you know its a ponzi?" People out there literally laugh at your if you mention crypto or bitcoin because they think its a huge bubble about the burst. Dont know if that is classy at all. We need more adoption and breaking of these fears before being into a "classy scale"  Grin
7027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: April 08, 2019, 02:07:09 PM
If we are speaking about addiction, you can't even control yourself nor think that you are doing something bad.
It does not need to be that bad to be declared as an addiction. If you see a person not being able to keep themselves away from gambling every now and then even with times of respite in between then that person is gradually getting addicted and as a fried our work is to try to bring them back to the proper path.

Quote
Do you get it? Addiction is a real problem, it is not just something that you just forget, that you just get busy into something and it will be done, no it is not. It is hard, so hard to get addicted into something, that is the reason why there are people needed for that type of disorder.
Its very easy to get addicted to things that tend to form a physiological dependence. Its the same with drugs and gambling. People need to watch over themselves or their family members need to. Being able to get money for just the fun means they are getting addicted. Its dangerous and potentially harmful for susceptible people.
7028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep proper distance but not losing passion on: April 08, 2019, 02:02:02 PM
Traders should use what works for them.  I don't make my trading complicated. I keep it as simple as possible. Learning trading from complicated trading methods don't work very well for me.
Its all a part of the perspective. What is complicated to one person is simple to another person. Fact is that the first person is less educated in that field than the second one.

So it is not a first time impression of what trading is rather a long term experience and knowledge gained from that used to determine is it complicated or not. In fact learning them does not do you any harm but obviously is good if you are willing to use that knowledge to trade in future and correct previous mistakes. Of course at this moment holding is the thing to do. Do not buy at the pumped price of bitcoin but watch where it goes to.
7029  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to survive on: April 07, 2019, 08:34:19 AM
Stocking up are just for those who have funds though. I can feel the disappointments of those who only have few coins to hold since the start of 2018. They probably had solve everything before the year end.
Pretty much that. They are obviously sad now that bitcoin reached 5k USD and still seems strong after the short correct rally to touch 4.9k and then back to 5k. I am hoping it will reach 5.5 and 6k soon this new week. If people didnt take their time out to buy some before this pump then they will have missed out. Here we come to the discussion of "spare cash" - who have how much to spend and when they run out of ammunition.

Not expecting this bull run to last too long though. A big dump may always bee incoming who knows when. Lets be steady and watch out for any distress signals in the bull trend.
7030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto ‘Won't Turn Out to Be a Complete Delusion' on: April 07, 2019, 08:29:26 AM
And it's already bring used today. It has actual use and actual demand and i'm pretty sure that future transactions will move around crypto and digital modes. That makes it relevant. Maybe you can't see it now but a lot of us do see bitcoin becoming one of the top altrrnatives to fiat a couple of years from now.
The use is still very small among a certain niche of users. Specially those who are hedging funds with crypto, gambling, trading and those who live in countries where crypto is accepted as official mode of payment. It may be a good alternative to fiat but there is some speculation among people who are not yet knowing this side that its something to do with criminal and all. This thought has been propagated by the wrong people to instill fear.

I see nothing wrong with buying and asset and then selling it when the price rises. Then buy more once the cycle restarts. Its profitable and does not need the opinion of others to weaken your resolve.
7031  Economy / Economics / Re: harmonization of fiat and crypto on: April 07, 2019, 08:24:20 AM
Fiat and crypto will continue to co-exist because they complement each other. The government certainly does not want to lose control in the financial sector but cannot avoid crypto development. Crypto and fiat can collaborate but will not become one, both will remain harmonious and will not kill each other.
I fully agree that crypto and fiat can and probably will in future complement each other. Without fiat I cannot think of anything that can be decided up as a price determinant for crypto. Other than that its only becoming a bagholding scheme for holders and speculation of the price at which they will reach and drooling over that.

In real time how much adoption we are getting and how far merchants are willing to accept bitcoin is still far from anything good. Lets be optimistic about the future and think about new ways to promote crypto among the common folk.
7032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling sites can cheat you on: April 07, 2019, 08:21:24 AM
The feeling of risk is always there everytime you engage in gambling. Aside from the excitement of winning and fear of loosing the game, the fear to be cheated is the most dangerous. That's why we need to be careful in choosing gambling sites. We are sometimes overwhelmed of the possible winning prizes we can get and tend to forget the security we need.
That is why one should always check their reputation on different public forums before putting their money in it. There also comes in the line of casinos who are long standing in the crypto community and have been known to have credited every big win and jackpot yet won. New casinos are coming up everyday but in the excitement of easy money people should do their due diligence. Not having checked this and having lost money after depositing not by gambling but because the site was a scam can be devastating for any player.
7033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Raising funds for A.I. based trading bots (indevelopment) on: April 06, 2019, 03:16:07 PM
We are a team of five computer scientists and three day traders currently working together to develop professional trading bots for both crypto and forex markets. Our AI project is currently in prototype stage and we are seeking funding from any interest investors.

Quote
As an incentive for investors  to invest in our project. Profits generated from our AI trading bots will be distributed 50/50 between our team and investors in our project.
We are seeking 7,500 ETH to continue development on our project.
If you guys actually develop anything then you wont need funds at all. Kinda misses the point doesnt it? You guys should become millionaires by your super-powerful AI and then you could take over the market cant you? In that case you wont need any funding at all. Grin

7034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to buy real estate for bitcoins in the future. on: April 06, 2019, 10:59:25 AM
Here is a link to the list of most cryptocurrency friendly countries in the world https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-friendly-countries/, but among them I recommend Malta. Malta is one of the few EU countries which does not impose a property tax. All the best in your relocation plans.
A good suggestion but I would advice others be wary that these rules and regulation regarding tax can change in future and so dont be a person who is not willing to change at all, rather be malleable and make sure to follow taxation rules otherwise you will have to face legal problems. Today Malta may be safe but tomorrow who knows what might happen? Therefore following this line of business is pretty risky and if anybody wants to do the same then they probably would have to pay some bribes to the tax department before doing anything.

Bitcoin money makes sense just how to move to a completely different country to get a real estate and live. For this, there are alternatives that can be used in every country.
What do you mean alternative in every country? Not every country is lenient towards crypto. Are you aware of that?

7035  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading on: April 06, 2019, 10:54:56 AM
Yes, it is, especially if a newbie starts to deal with it. You need to be a very experienced person for day trading. The risk to lose most of your money here is too high. Long-term trading is better.
Do you think anything in life is easy for a newbie? Everything needs experience and trading is no different from that. People who are daily traders have been doing this for years maybe not in crypto but in other markets as well before stepping here. There is no substitute to hard work and doing your own analysis on the market. That was you wont get biased decisions on different coins from paid promoters/shills.

There is always a risk of losing money. Now you have to decide what to do - whether to take the risk or not. Remember that higher the risk more the rewards.
7036  Economy / Economics / Re: Top 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Falling Down on: April 06, 2019, 10:50:49 AM
yes some points really made the Bitcoin falling again and again all the stability will not been considered as the reason so the improvement of cryptocurrency development will be definitely need to avoid this type of problems right now in this situation then only the the next few years will be good for this investment.
I dont understand why people think too much on what the price is at any moment. If you are planning to buy a stack of coins for your bags then its ok but otherwise its just speculating on the price and that is not very fruitful for small to mid-cap traders who are trying to make some quick cash and comprises the majority of this forum's members. We should be more interested in what the adoption and the applications of crypto in problems faced that appear. There are reasons why a price of an asset drops but panicking is not a solution to that.

I think that bitcoin will recover once more people come to crypto and we will see a small grow and that will bring a profit for who buy when the price not was high.
People are coming and people are going. Its all a part of the cycle. It will rise and fall nothing new in that. Wink
7037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: April 06, 2019, 10:45:58 AM
For me, it's 99% luck and 1% strategy you don't need a strategy when you are super lucky, all gambling games are based on luck, not on strategy. A strategy will help you a little bit in a game but being lucky you can win even the chance are 1% and that's how the luck works.
A strategy will only give you a false hope that you are winning the game rather mask the real thing happening that is you are bring greedy for more wins and thus pushing yourself to the point where the red streak starts. There is nothing called strategy in an EV- game where the odds are against the player. Use them in EV+ games and there can make a difference.

Do people really believe that the casino was made by the owners with their hard work and money to be a charity? It is a flourishing business for the owners and not the players only because players tend to push their luck too much.
7038  Economy / Economics / Re: Opinions about the emergence of new Coins on: April 05, 2019, 03:58:57 PM
the development of crypto currencies and other coins of virtual currency depends on the investor itself and in my opinion if many new coins in the crypto currency are interested and investors, of course they will develop
More coins flooding the market does not mean any good thing. There will be competition among the coins about which one can grab a market that is still untouched and being worked by already by a certain team. This can be a healthy competition but majority of the ICO teams dont do anything fruitful or the investors are not willing to wait but want a quick buck out of the deal.

When new coins appear, the more intense competition in the market, the coins that survive are of course those who have a strong and solid team, but they will only attract investors just into it, but do not have a positive influence on the value of Bitcoin.
Not always do they have intensity in their competition. I would rather like to see some working products being developed rather than some promises being made and prices pumped. I prefer to see the long term growth here which I find highly lacking.
7039  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading experience on: April 05, 2019, 03:52:43 PM
1-3% of daily trading profits are not that bad. Discord groups are somewhat helpful but not at all times. If you wish to stand up on your own, learn their basis. What are the technical analysis they are using and how did they come up with that. Learn what they have to become an independent trader.
Let me make it very clear once again. Social media groups which are pumping coins are nothing but pump and dump groups made just to scam those who are willing to make a quick buck. They sell your their entry fee or membership fee and that 100$ gone is the scam done. Next they will make you buy those coins that they are selling and feed you some BS propaganda about that coin going to moon so you buy them. Dont worry they will make you do everything but to become rich. Hence avoid those.

Also you are talking about TA. Who are doing TA dont go for these scammer groups at all.
7040  Economy / Economics / Re: Are You The INTELLIGENT Cryptocurrency Investor? on: April 05, 2019, 03:49:15 PM
Great post and this part of your long post, shows that even really smart people who can understand the market and should have known not to do a re-entry can fail and then have to learn to live with those consequences.
I doubt how much they actually revealed about their money or earnings. Nobody wants to do that because they become targets for robbers and tax evasion problems even if they may not have been having a huge impact in older days. Many times these quotes are just paid up FUD to promote some assets which have zero value in them.

Quote
Knowing when to take profit or cut losses are extremely important when you trade crypto, most altcoins even those in top100 have no real value or purpose, but people still trade them as they have.
People still trade them because they did not find anything to make money on and someone fooled them to buy those shitcoins. Its more like an obligation to trade on them rather than a passion. Cheesy
