Egypt made a splash today, but apparently not for you if you were expecting an Egyptian victory. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I was also surprised by the confident victory of Mexico over France, I did not expect such a large number of goals from Mexico against France. But still, the Olympic Games are young players, so absolutely any outcomes in matches are possible... Yeah, failed as it turned out, narrow S Africa loss to Japan also smashed my chances today, shame as I got the Brazil leg right and that was whopper of a value bet. @toma: yeah I guess I enjoy losing a lot and try to save them all with a big upset. Didn't work out today. When is Hubbard? 5/1 looks goooood. @rdbase: damn man, I should have reminded everyone, I knew there was something I forgot. I already lost it on almost all the legs though;)

Stayed away from this one myself, got bitten by UCL qualifications and Olympics, so going to save myself some money for the weekend instead. If I WERE betting though, I'd eye these upsets:
Ashdod (vs Qarabag) @7/1 Maribor (vs Hammarby) @7/1 Laci (vs Universitatea Craiova) @5/1
And if adventurous a complete unknown to me Drita (20/1) vs Feyenoord because... Dutch teams have been struggling haha.

Seriously. For whomever actually believes Bitcoin has lost its importance, or if there is actually another similar class asset of equal or more importance... If you don't like Bitcoin, then don't use it. There are literally thousands of other shitcoins out there to put your future on. You may never even get to experience the inferior security, usability, adoption, since you're probably not even a crypto user.

God damn me. I picked Egypt for a huge 20/1 upset against Spain, but that played out to a draw. Should have listened to myself and taken a small handicap or Egypt/draw it was 8/1.
Ivory Coast makes up my acca today though and they're leading 2-1 right now so am not too worried. Counting on Argentina to take the lead early and close up by half time.
What do you think of Japan/S Africa? Another 16/1 tasty temptation on the Africans.

Ended up losing 2-1, didn't watch the game but the stats showed they actually put up a better fight than would have been assumed. If not falling to the 2nd minute goal, who knows? Either way, Olympics are starting soon, shall we get in early on the action? I'll be adding some live ones maybe. Rare opportunity to watch the future of national teams + some vets;) 100 units insured, boosted on Romania, South Korea, Brazil, Ivory Coast, Argentina (HT) WIN @29.57. Other odds: 27.54 Units advantage: 203 Running advantage after 417 bets: +28,124 (+203) All-time cumulative: +66,422 Running units after 416 bets (63W|353L): +11,578 (-100)

~snip~ P.S. Never needed to do KYC and I've had my account for a really long time. Not sure what everyone's on about?
Basically Stake making the situation complicated by offering extra bonuses to verified (level 1 KYC) users. In last 10 days, I have received two emails from Stake where they offered extra bonuses for verifying my account. Although the verification is optional and I'm not going to do it. I'm playing at Stake since last three years and they never asked me to verify my account. I see, thanks for the clarification. Just checked my inbox and didn't see any emails, so I guess it's been a selective process. Maybe it's something to do with me not being very active in Casino for over a year, moving almost all of my betting chiefly to Sports now. Will likely only verify if needed, it's always a question of how much I need to (I've definitely chosen to verify at services I see myself using in future). On to all those Olympics promotions then;)

Enough of this nonsense, actually made 6 and 7 leg accas yesterday that hit on all except stupid Celtic. I've been complaining everywhere haha. Today, keep it simple. Underdog matches and I want to bet on a slip up by the favourites at home, against a super inspired Estonian league leader. Also the worst odds tonight so let's see;) 100 units at Sportsbet on Flora Talinn to WIN @16.95. Other odds: 15.50 Units advantage: 145 Running advantage after 416 bets: +27,921 (+145) All-time cumulative: +66,219 Running units after 415 bets (63W|352L): +11,678 (-100)

As well as Serbian SuperLiga champions for the past four season, i wish that every team from a not a top league was regressing like Red Star Belgrade. lol
Dude, 2018-19 UCL: 4 points in group stage (plus beating Liverpool) 2019-20: 3 points, only beating Olympiacos 2020-21: Out in Last 32 Europa. That's what I mean by commenting in the UCL thread, regressing in the past two seasons... I MIGHT say differently in the Serbian SuperLiga thread but I don't know shit there =)

Yesterday seemed like a no brainer -- every match except the last (Celtic) ended as expected for the favourites, so of course, I had to make accas with every favourite, therefore busting because of Celtic's stupid draw. toma: Agree though it should be a walkover for RS BUT Kairat Almaty have been punching heavily and RS Belgrade the opposite, declining pretty badly past two seasons. HT is already with the Kazakhs but maybe a draw might even be on the cards. I have also decided to go for Flora Talinn. Team Estonia! Almost 17/1.

Good tips on that ralle14, and I'm generally one to follow form -- but such small sample sizes for me to see, and they fight too infrequently in between. I love a streak snap too so I'd be going for Dillashaw (boosted to maybe 26/10) and a good single on Maverick if I like the odds at that time.
Currently best I see is 1.75 on Maverick, which I've already taken.
And haven't put my picks in on that regular prediction thread -- by Friday for sure;)

Damn Celtic. Literally the only leg I needed to win 2 accas PLUS the boosted special on favourites. They and Rangers have a bad habit of getting red cards, don't they? So in case if it hits BJ then the current net profit would be maximum of 11 mbtc provided if someone is pretty unlucky and took all those busted bet
Yeah, man, you'd have to be really really unlucky to have missed all the winning Blackjacks though;) But even so, you could have bet on all the busts and still survive another 5 busts before hitting one on 2mbtc for a profit of 1 mbts. Not the worse scenario I can think of. A win is due, don't worry *comforts self*

I am so glad that I didn't wagered on that. Plus I was doing hooooorrrible on euros for the longest time, but I got my head straight and wagered on the last 4 bets a lot better and got lucky, it was a horrible fear that I would end up with pure losses but ended up breaking even and even making a tiny profit (nothing much just chump change).
I'd still have taken those wagers any time. And anyone who bet against McGregor would have had the triple winnings too, you just can't ignore good value like that;) August has another big event, so I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for that. And the no-risk ones, well, self-explanatory;) P.S. Never needed to do KYC and I've had my account for a really long time. Not sure what everyone's on about?

But its really hard to rise up after those crucial support has been break out and if we can see more deeper in figures then provably we can experience the same long bear market season the same as before but hopefully market can recover and some big good news will spread after this dump since its really bad for long term traders who bought at the top seeing the current condition of the market and also for sure there are so many people got panic and dumping all shits they have.
Equally hard to break new low ground and support though, as 30k's proven. Can't really get as bad as it is in terms of sentiment and floundering commerce, with stocks, oil and funds scrambling for relief amid a mountain of never-ending stimulus. So I still feel it's finely balanced, and the bulls will be arguably more reluctant to resume 20k levels than the bears to settle for current victories. Don't need good news. Just need fundamentals to remind the market where it's supposed to be at.

Need some love for our farmers' league is playing right now and the British are having mixed fortunes, The New Saints already 4-0 up so should progress quite easily to meet Viktoria Plzeň/Dynamo Brest, but Connah's Quay are fighting two goals down with not much left to play. Hibs to win the late game you think?

So, I think there were at least 3 specials for today's UCL, not counting Blackjack which is surely going to be from tonight's selection.
Didn't go for the 25/1 Over 0.5 in each half. Feel like there will be at least one 0-0 HT draw but I did book myself in for the 4-leg favs AND for Ferencvaros and Dinamo Zagreb to get a lead before 20 min. Never won that particular special I believe, but hey;)
No need to talk about my daily 5-leg acca today that is deceased thanks to Leg 1.

That's going to be the key of bitcoin in the future as well and we should probably be focusing on bitcoins opposite movements because that's what it has done way too many times. A bad news about bitcoin? Price going up, a good news about bitcoin? It goes down. It is basically just a thing that bitcoin does constantly and that is just going to be for a thing for bitcoin for a while more basically. I do believe that there is a good chance we could repeat this again very soon as well.
This is a long term thing, the price could still be going down in the near future, in the next week for example because that is what we are going to end up actually "feeling" all of this, I am not expecting them to sell everything right away, that is just something that I think that will take a bit more time and slowly erode the price one by one, so we have to wait a bit more to see it.
Mm hmm. Bad news and good news don't seem to factor in much when it's been anticipated for a while -- Bitcoin market I feel is at that stage where what's foreseeable for the short term is quickly priced in, hence the apparent imperviousness to "news". It's still the majority sentiment I think that leads the medium-term, and looking six months ahead, those early predictions, as I mentioned, haven't been invalidated. Clear the horizon of short-termers and the skyline looks pretty much the same, perhaps only a little farther away.

Yeah Eddie tips have not at all been good for me but have to admit I did not try them all. Odds are good though regardless and the no risk option kind of makes it a no brainer for those who qualify (and it is not really thatich relatively speaking).
Trying to see if I can take advantage of the weekend. Mcgregor killed me and I have yet to fully recover haha.

I know it doesn't look good right now with crucial support broken but I think the long term predictions made early in the year have not become invalidated. Six digit valuation is still possible, and we all have been through the motions on past rodeos to know we can still be on track.
Not holding my breath though. Prefer to be surprised than disappointed...

I'm going to take a few UCL qualification bets tonight, but probably live, or closer to the game. Tactic: bet on the team that goes down an early goal, at least 1 should make it through for a comeback win haha. Anyway, a boosted insured 100 units on Sportsbet on Olympic Brisbane, Clyde FC, Sarmiento, Irtysh Omsk, Amkar Perm to WIN @13.37. Other odds: 12.79 (nice odds right?) Units advantage: 58 Running advantage after 415 bets: +27,776 (+58) All-time cumulative: +66,174 Running units after 414 bets (63W|351L): +11,778 (-100)
