7021  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Clicking Google Ads can lead you to huge looses - Uniswap customers on: August 16, 2020, 02:09:23 PM
Google never filter scam or phishing site unless there is no report. When you are going to do a financial deal then we have to be more careful. Why should we depend on Google ads? If you are using a site then bookmark it if you can't remember the site address. We are using smartphones and computers, so we should improve yourself as a smart guy as well. Scammer gets success due to our stupidity. Everyone knows about the most of scam methods, but likely we just ignore to learn.

Yes, to be honest, it seems that Google just readily accepts ads, and those scammers are known to hide and cloak those phishing sites. I also created thread about a fake [Scam]: Fake Uniswap wallet.
7022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea and Australia, they are bitcoin pro on: August 15, 2020, 07:35:14 PM
South Korea and Australia has been bitcoin friendly since 2017, so there are no surprise here that they are moving and adopting blockchain to be integrated in their systems.
7023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Gas transactions price is about to hit 300 on: August 15, 2020, 06:57:42 PM
If you want to follow ETH transactions and the fees,

And I would agree that it is very expensive, more expensive that bitcoin itself.
7024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Updated]Grayscale to launch crypto ads on: August 15, 2020, 06:14:04 PM
As much as we hate Grayscale's crypto ad, it seems to be a very successful campaign for them as it raises to record their biggest fundraising for a week, a whopping $217 million investment.

7025  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current Local Roadmap of Bitcoin on: August 15, 2020, 05:45:24 PM

I agree, it's not that easy to just jump to $12k without getting any resistance, and that price seems to be the biggest wall. As we have seen several rejections. So again, let's wait, as the price is settling down to $11,700 and maybe a good time to accumulate before moving on. Weekends is coming, I'm not expecting any price movement and wait for Monday to see if we can get to $12k again.
Yes, as always we're still given ample time to accumulate. Those who thought that they've been missing alot, they shouldn't miss it this time.

You reminded me about weekends, oh yes you are right! there are always a lot of happenings every weekend. Just be prepared for it.

On the contrary, it looks like this weekend is very different as the price seems to get over that $11700 and moving to $11800-$11900. So I guess when we are in a bull run those expectations are thrown out of the window because we really don't know what to expect.

And as the market is open 24x7, there could be some scalping during the weekends. And here we go again, seems that $12k is just around.

It's just a minor jump though, so I wouldn't consider it any different from any day specially weekends. If there's a sudden jump to $12k and continue to Monday and the rest of the week, then such be an exception. But right now, it just went on some little pump and the sideways, typical of a weekend activity, at least that's how I see it.
7026  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: swapzilla.co scam or legit on: August 15, 2020, 10:51:19 AM
Maybe one of the scam hunters will check the team in more detail, but at first this is a group of Russians/Ukrainians led by Roman Prokopev whose company is located in Hong Kong. I looked at the list of blacklisted countries and in addition to the already well-known forbidden countries, the list contains complete USA, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia...

As for the promises they make, understand it only as promises and nothing more - who else gives 0.10 BTC just like that to anyone who registers? I personally would avoid any interaction with this service, but it is a matter for each individual - it does not seem to me that anything good will come out of all this.

Maybe the OP can start here: SwapZilla - 1 BTC Give away.

7028  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current Local Roadmap of Bitcoin on: August 14, 2020, 10:54:52 PM
We have been repeatedly rejected by $12,000. It seems we are going to be approaching it once again in the coming hours. It would again be either make or break. If the $12,000 support is broken we are probably going to be heading on to $13,000 before the correction occurs or we could be rejected once more and head back to $11,000.
It's making the resistance and the support tighter this time.

Those rejections that bitcoin took for hitting $12,000 were a good sign. Now, looks good and better on $11,700 as it shows stably moving as it is about to break that rejected price.

7029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about XRP now? on: August 14, 2020, 10:24:46 PM
Hey all crypto loving guys,
What is your thinking about XRP now? Many of people think positive about Xrp (Ripple). And it was almost great all over crypto coin.

ETH is leading the way, but it is still far from setting another all time high. And so is XRP and the rest of the altcoin market. Only Chainlink is really doing very well as of the moment. However, I think altcoin market is already in a rally by itself, and trying to decouple with bitcoin. With that said, I think XRP will have it's own bull run, but you need to be patience, maybe in the latter part of 2020 and then 2021 will be the start of XRP moving some grounds, so to speak.
7030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading Competitions? on: August 14, 2020, 09:44:04 PM
Wondering if there are any trading competitions going on for Cryptos. I'd be interested in taking part. Also, where to post if there is a competition going on(for crypto specifically).

Maybe you can check out this link

Service Announcements will be one board that is more appropriate to post this kind of competition announcements.
7031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos: HEX offered me 10 BTC to show that it is not a scam on: August 14, 2020, 09:15:03 PM
Hah, Hex still trying to get out of the hole? and this time they attempted to bribe AA with 10 BTC? I lauded AA for not accepting this money, it truly shows that the man doesn't have a price. Why not Hex try to get John McAfee though, Lol, that will be hilarious if one day we see John twitting about Hex and promoting it. Fortunately, we already know that this is a scam project and I do hope that no noobs will invest on it so that the scheme will fall. Good job AA!
7032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is This Site Legit? on: August 13, 2020, 11:43:28 PM
Just did some testing on this website, just be careful, obviously it's full or referral and this:

And most likely those are paid ads, specially in the world of gambling wherein there's a huge money involved.

I really don't know what to make out of this issue, except that it turns to be another shit show and cluster fuck.
7034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: August 13, 2020, 10:41:44 PM
Ok, good to hear that the fight is a go.

Quote
“The whole world will see it and we will get more recognition when we beat Lomachenko, and that’s good for us,” Lopez Sr. said. “It’s going to be a beautiful fight between two great fighters doing the best that they can do to win.”

Lopez Sr. said they plan to sign the paperwork on Thursday.

“We came to an agreement,” McWater said. “The fight will take place later in October than Oct. 3 but we have a deal. It was a complicated deal but we made it. Arum and I have been talking and we finally got it done.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/lomachenko-lopez-deal-reached-october-team-lopez-pumped--150880

And probably Loma sacrifices $700k-$800k on his purse so that Lopez can get close to $2m which is what they are aiming for in this fight.

Yes, the revenue will come from advertisements and ESPN will make a lot of money from it.

7036  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader made 89% profit in minutes. Have anyone experienced it..? on: August 13, 2020, 09:41:35 PM
There is no secret here, it's just the matter of execution + timing and of course your risk aversion. But majority of us here, are afraid to take that risk and doesn't have that much capital to play with. So in paper it really looks like the guy is a genius, but I will say that he is more ballsy in exploiting the gap in make that huge risk to get big reward.
7037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP MADNESS on: August 12, 2020, 11:58:54 PM
Just be careful with this latest craze though, I caught one phishing site here, [Scam]: Fake Uniswap wallet. If we are to compare this to ICO craze of 2017, then this is just the beginning. And if you have experience that ICO boom, pretty sure you know what to do right now. And for newbies, don't get caught, don't be irrational, used your logical thinking here. It's good to make profits, but don't be greedy.

7040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you thought you had found the real satoshi with 99.9% certainty ... on: August 12, 2020, 10:46:26 PM
I would say No, as well, revealing his identify will not bring any good in the bitcoin community. Besides, we have been enjoying his creation since day one, so let him rest if he chooses to. I think this is the most appropriate action we can do, to let him live his life in privacy for the rest of his life (that is, if he is still alive by this day) regardless if there is a bounty on his head or not. He is not a criminal, so I doubt though that anyone will offer money in return for revealing or identifying the Legendary Satoshi Nakamoto.
