Are you referring to me or to Ejaculation Huh
I am pretty sure that me is referring to Ejaculation.
7042  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 30, 2014, 10:04:26 PM
Actually, they also pay more for Members: 0.0005 btc per post. You should probably change the overview in the OP as well. Tongue

Regarding the escrow, you're right, I hadn't noticed just about everyone else had asked the same thing (just recently got here). Smiley
I must have missed that! Updating now. Thanks for telling me!

EDIT: Done.
7043  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 30, 2014, 09:35:30 PM
That's true, but xbtec's escrow was only for 1 week.  So I see what you mean about multiplying by 4.  I think you're right, it should probably be enough.

About the rates, it looks like only the full member rate is higher than PD, looks like senior and hero members, the rate is equivalent, right?
PrimeDice pays:
0.0012BTC for Hero.
0.0010BTC for Sr.
0.0006BTC for Full.
0.0004BTC for Member.

DiceBitco.in pays:
0.0014BTC for Hero.
0.0012BTC for Sr.
0.0007BTC for Full.
0.0004BTC for Member.

So DiceBitco.in pays more then PrimeDice if you look at Hero/Sr and Full member rates.

A small reminder, if anyone cares about it:
5 BTC Escrow is still a lot more than other new campaigns have provided. Shouldn't be a problem, good gesture from their side.
XBTec offered higher rates and escrowed less (even if you multiply the escrowed amount by 4, because they only accepted 25 participants), so it should be all good.

For people that don't know how much they escrowed:
==========Message to sign==========
I, BitcoinInformation, am currently in control of 1.0625BTC, which have been send to me so that I can keep them in escrow for this campaign. The coins that have been escrowed are enough to pay 25 Full Member if they posted 50 messages. The calculation for this is ((50*25)*0.00085).

If XBTec fails to pay up these funds will be used reimburse the participants as far as possible. These funds will be fairly distributed among the participants.
If XBTec pays up, these funds will be returned to him without any fee's. Donations are welcome though.

This messaged will be signed by the address that contains these funds (13te3WeK1r6GxCyWuWYV).

If you have any questions, do ask.

Will those 5 btc be enough though, considering this is a large campaign, and with higher rates than PD? Sure, there aren't that many users enrolled at the moment, but it should just be a matter of time until it gets full. Smiley
The following post should answer that question:
The OP and I have decided to check how many members have joined after a week and then calculate (based on assumptions) if we need to increase the escrowed amount. That should do for now.
7047  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 30, 2014, 09:05:51 PM
He forefeited it I believe. Think he said he only made a handful of posts this term anyway.
You are 100% correct. I made like 10 or 12 posts and I don't need payment for those.
7048  Economy / Services / Re: [DiceBitco.in] [Make the most out of your sig!] Make coins by simply posting! on: July 30, 2014, 09:01:15 PM
If we make escrow amount bigger could we use another escrow for that?
If tere is 2 escrows with 5btc each it won't be as big temptation to stole it as compared to 1 escrow with 10btc.
My suggest for possible second escrow is escrow.ms
That sounds like a good idea IMO.

Yeah i get it man, but always in almost all scams nobody "could see it coming" , so i think its fair for op to choose another escrow if the amount gets bigger like the user above me said, or simple pay bi-weekly or weekly the first month so he dont need to scrow so many btcs.
I get that and I think that it's a great idea to split the risk.

This is the correct message :
-snip-
Thanks! I always post it in my own format, but it seems like a bad idea. Will be using the brainwallet format from now on.

I got "Message failed to verify!" with both, multibit and brainwallet.org
What does this mean?
I just tried it myself and it works just fine for me. You must have copied it incorrectly.
7049  Economy / Services / Re: [DiceBitco.in] [Make the most out of your sig!] Make coins by simply posting! on: July 30, 2014, 07:54:57 PM
Me and the escrow don't particularly get on, but I am glad he is the escrow, I trust him and that's good enough for me !

I appreciate some of you may not know him, or have been involved in his past escrow, but I have and that all worked out fine.

Cheers
Mark
We don't? I can't remember having problems with you, hahaha. But I am glad you trust me!

Dont be so happy because he used scrow, he dint do it with a trusted high volume escrower, this is nothing against bitcoin information as he have seemed good, but in the lending section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=65.0 there have been multiple escrow scams and for less than 5 btcs, or collaterals scams with sr members accounts.

So for me if a high volume of btcs are put in a escrow that has no previous trust of high volume scrows are the same or worst that if the campaign dint had scrowed btcs.
I escrowed for the XBTec campaign as well and I have no reasons to run away with the money, but I totally get why you are concerned. However, there isn't much that I can do against that.

This was an interesting read, thanks for sharing the link OP. I'm getting sick from all the scam emails that I get. I might just do something like this to get back at them. Grin

Hello everyone,

I am currently holding 5BTC in escrow for this campaign. These coins will be used to reimburse people if the OP disappears or defaults. Otherwise they will be send back as soon as everybody got paid.

Just to clarify, the extra 0.05BTC is a tip that the OP send me.

Kind Regards,
BitcoinInformation

Oh, right, I didn't remember it is only once in year Tongue
But could you please confirm that I have enrolled correctly?
You have. Check the first post my friend. He just updated it. Wink

Stunna's payout last term was 30 bitcoins.

5 won't suffice for a whole month.
Stunna has a lot of members which this campaign hasn't. Only time will tell what happens. 5BTC in escrow should be good for now.
7056  Economy / Services / Re: [DiceBitco.in] [Make the most out of your sig!] Make coins by simply posting! on: July 30, 2014, 06:18:21 PM
Will that value increase as the signature campaign receives more participants?
It's not part of the contract, but it might be smart to do. I just send the OP a question about that.
7057  Economy / Services / Re: [DiceBitco.in] [Make the most out of your sig!] Make coins by simply posting! on: July 30, 2014, 06:15:34 PM
Ok , Thank you for your work/escrow !
No problem! Here to help Wink
7058  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 30, 2014, 06:14:46 PM
Oh you do, I didn't know that. I guess it is your job Tongue. I was just about to tell the dicebitco.in guy to contact you about getting on the overview of signature campaign  table, but I guess you already know about it now.
They have been added already and I am currently holding escrow for them so I don't have to worry about my payment (and other don't need to worry either), hahaha.

Interesting. How much is he willing to put into escrow? I hope he hasn't underestimated how much he will need. A lot of people are going to jump onto this deal since he's the highest paying and all the fixed rate deals are essentially closed.
You will see in a bit Wink
