7041  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] ▲▼ Exolix - Secure & Anonymous Crypto Exchange Service on: January 30, 2020, 12:42:24 PM

We communicate openly and stably, respond to pleasant and not very pleasant questions. In general, we make every effort to ensure that users are protected and confident in the reliability of our product.

I appreciate the response. I hope you dont find my query quite offensive, as I only stating what I feel about when this kind of scenario happened. As you can see, not only anonymous exchange got have issued with protection, even huge exchanges experienced these (centralized known) aftermath. I can see your effort to promote and market exolic as I can always saw your banner on some users here and of course that's how I got into your platform.

Anyway, looking forward to use your platform and as you mentioned about the refunds, I will take your words for it in case the problem isn't occur on the client side that you will guaranteed refund for your users. Thank you again and have a nice day.
7042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Quiet Bounty Time on: January 30, 2020, 10:57:49 AM
Bounty section on this forum is now very quiet compare to last year, why is that? Now that bull run is in motion what is stopping new developers from releasing their project? Or maybe they don't have any more idea? Even scam projects are greatly reduced

You can't expect all new projects release bounty campaign as they release their platform. The market is recovering now but I dont think we can see a lot of new projects with bounty. That is actually good, only few campaign are being launch which reduced those scam projects. I think hunters should look for a legit way to earn crypto and trust only campaign handle by legit bounty manager or at least be cautious when joining campaign if they are noticed to be scam already leave it without any hesitation. Tagged and report.

Thanks @nc50lc and @Coolcryptovator, I guess mycelium will be a good solution for signing a message as the tutorial seems shows the procedure.. Thank you for both helping out. I'll try this out. Will locked the thread now to avoid same response as those youve told I think is enough.
7045  Economy / Services / Re: DAVID CHAUM's XX Coin | Signature Campaign | Sr - Hero/Legendary Members on: January 30, 2020, 05:13:38 AM
Some of those who applied arent even reading the rules. I see few who keep submitting applications though they dont earned at least 5 merits (120 days). Ive bump into the thread of this David Chaums XX coin on alternate discussion and it seems this campaign will help in promotions of their current presale.

Hope OP, find suited members for this campaign.

By the way, it is not stated about the number of participants for this campaign? How many are needed? Also how long the campaign will run is it simultaneous with the presale timeline?  Thanks

His prediction is quite a bubble. Reason why you shouldn't believe this guy about his prediction.

This is a nice meme, be careful you might pull the trigger dude if btc doesnt reach your target price!

  • No balls, changing statement, no prolific answer to simple question to him.
  • Created his own dex and making lots of projects listed there and can't comprehend breached when he got criticized.
  • Continue to proclaimed his self as a great advisor to those new projects. Yeah how much money did they promised? you geek rat!
  • Finally, he is somehow like CW who is only goal is to shill and shill until the news about it become a trend. Maybe we can change his alias to Trend Warrior.
7048  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting additional option for the Bitcointalk proof of Ownership on: January 30, 2020, 03:27:09 AM

Also, you can use Electrum.

Does electrum has already got signed in message using their web wallet or app? I already inquire with my friends and they say you need a laptop to be able to that as the signing message isn't supported yet.

I'm just hoping there is an exception to this process or any other method aside from doing signing message and staking address. Anyway, will try to sort it out which one I'm gonna use for that. Thanks for the input.

7049  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting additional option for the Bitcointalk proof of Ownership on: January 30, 2020, 02:48:24 AM
You don't need a laptop - there are non-custodial mobile wallets, e.g. Coinomi (not an endorsement, I don't use it, just heard of it). You don't need to keep any money in that wallet. Just get an address, sign a message, stake it, and keep the seed/backup of the wallet secure.

Hello @suchmoon, thanks for the suggestion. I heard of coinomi got that feature but there are some who said that coinomi isn't safe and have a lots of error. This is one of my choice to do it but I'm still looking for other option or maybe the forum can accept some way to prove our ownership without much relying on this non custodial third party app. I know there are limited custodial wallet that has this kind of feature so if there is none much option. Thanks for the suggestion though.
7050  Other / Meta / Requesting additional option for the Bitcointalk proof of Ownership on: January 30, 2020, 02:31:09 AM
Hello isnt there any possible way to prove our ownership of our account here in forum without using a non custodial wallet to do a bitcoin signing of message?

I know it's bit hard to think of another way since this system has been agreed already by majority and served as a norm just in case our account got compromised.

But there are some facts that we must consider.

  • Signing a message here via bitcoin wallet is only available to those who have bitcoin core wallet and other supporting wallets that has signed message feature and how about those who do have an account here in forum but doesnt have resources to buy laptop and install those software and wallets?
  • Proof of ownership is indeed somehow like of a KYC and way to know that we are the legitimate owner, right? How about, we do that on different process where the abovementioned statement is ruled out. At least, for those who have the same case with me.

I know I'm not the only one that have the same case. But if there's anyone here can suggest a way that isnt limited to the first reasoning I'd love to hear a feedback from you or any helpful recommendation.

If someone gonna say, maybe I dont have enough knowledge yet about bitcoin. Maybe your right but I think learning bitcoin isn't all about signing a message but also concern about deeper understanding to it. Also, this is an inquiry about forum protocols which I only introduced cause maybe theymos have an alternative to it which I'm happy to hear if there is.

NOTE: Will locked the thread until the concern has been addressed or at least given enough details or vivid explanation to officially close this thread discussion.
7051  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 5 Predictions For Cryptocurrencies In 2020 on: January 29, 2020, 02:59:46 PM
From the 5 predictions. IMO, the most realistic to occur are the launching of China Digital currency and the healthy and stable improvement of eth with defi. As eth continue its improvement barely.

2020 is full of predictions especially on market price. Bitcoin hitting a $20k price is still a myth for now as the market tends to create huge correction each time there is a small pump happened. Also the $1trillion market cap is gonna need a lot of works if you asked me. This isnt easy to achieve as you need 10x of investors that invest during btc ATH to reach that goal.

Privacy coin and stablecoin continue to reign? Last time I heard is some exchange are delisting them, if I remember it correctly its Okex korea who delist major privacy coins, how come they can reign this year in spite of such negative headlines over their platform? Such statement but no basis.
7052  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] ▲▼ Exolix - Secure & Anonymous Crypto Exchange Service on: January 29, 2020, 02:40:52 PM

Yes, our team is also anonymous. But the most important thing for us is the security of our customers and the anonymity of exchange transactions. Our customers can be confident in us.

I'm not against anonymity especially the creator of bitcoin is one of those anonymous person in crypto world. But exolic is a centralized exchange is it? In terms of legal aspect how can you assure the users that in case of event that exchange suddenly breached or hacked. Is there any guaranteed for the users to have such refund? Of course they dont even know the team that they can lean on if something goes south.

This is somehow a hybrid type of exchange almost similar to dex in terms of being anonymity but centralized in nature of trading. Looking forward to use your exchange in the future. Hoping for your response with my query.
7053  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM WEBSITE on: January 29, 2020, 02:05:04 PM
So the 0.06btc came from free spin or promotional game of the exchange? That's sound fishy I think how could an exchange give some huge amount for this. One thing is gor sure if he ask you to deposit some btc first in order to claim your prize and definitely that is a red flag and could be a scam exchange. Thanks for catching this, people should avoid this kind of scheme with crypto exchanges.

7055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: January 29, 2020, 05:36:23 AM
I'm not into gambling but I prefer prediction type of gambling such as lottery, and even Nba betting games. Sometime I play poker cards wiyh my friends but we only used small chip equivalence as we are just doing it to kill time when we are bored. I believe gambling is a nice form of entertainment but we should be wary that this is addictive and that is one thing I dont want to be hook abouy later on.

Careful what you wish for mate. If theymos accept your challenge then it will really be the most challenging moment of your crypto life.

I did agree with you that art contest wasnt an easy task also for gaining merits. I did benefit on that contest too. But gaining there isnt enough to rank up alone on the Legendary rank. Some say it's hard cause literally its really difficult. But I understand your point about getting  to Legendary rank is easy maybe for those active and good poster which showcase improvement.

The good thing is you already realize how hard it is and you want to prove that yourself that you can in spite of every criticisim you being received here. Good luck on ranking up dude. I'll be happy to check what will be your contributions in the coming future and I'll bump into this post of you later on and see how close you are already to becoming a full fledged Legendary rank.
7058  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless on: January 29, 2020, 03:07:44 AM
I did some KYC before when I need to claim my bounty tokens for altcoins. But a bit later on, I stop it due to these risk impose by giving away important documents that we own. Maybe this is the thing I regret doing. Moreover, if your documents falls in the wrong hand then that's could turn into a bloody identity theft.

But I'm indeed do some KYC process on some huge exchange such as Binance. I just hoping this one wouldn't be compromise by hackers and steal some vital info of their users. But probably they will prefer cash over some info right? but they can have both!

KYC purposes for investors are helpful but please if only for campaign purposes. Maybe other's should think twice. I already regret this, and hope new guys, wouldn't easily attracted by free money or it is you would lose more in the end.

Thanks for this informative and clear thread about KYC.
