7041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: July 01, 2015, 04:52:56 PM
Let's discuss how at 2:15 he is bad at math: 512 becomes 1028? every tech knows that 512 becomes 1024...
Then lets do this:
What if instead of black/red I do my usual betting style of the dozen?
Let's say I bet:
10 and lose.
20 and lose.
40 and lose.
80 and win.
In this case I win 240 dollars. which covers amply the loss of 70 with a nice 90 dollars profits.
Let's say im a degenerate gambler, and decide to give away my money and play on a 6 numbers.
Still good profit.
How overcome he martingale problem? do it risky.
If you lose, you lose, if you win, you go away happy.

Hi, just noticed because i never play it, american roulette is different from the european one (pic related)
https://i.imgur.com/GBw6OAL.png

Yes they are different, European roulette is usually known as single 0 roulette and american roulette is double 0 roulette. It is better to play at european roulette because the house edge is smaller , 2.7 % and 5.4 %
You probably didn't understood, the picture of the american one is almost the same as european one :3

 >

Quindi ecco l'accordo

0.08080000 CGN  in " 1 bicchiere  Kölsch Bier  0,2l "

I repeat, 2 stricks streak of reds in over 20 bets placed busting my dice rolls!

That is pretty common thing to have in PrimeDice actually

How is it random rolls and how is it fair?
Pretty common? So I am rolling with 49.50% chance to get that roll right on a low bet and you say its pretty common to have 20 rolls rolling above 49.50 on a 100 provability chance?
On another place I betted 15 times over 30 and I got 12 times under 30 in a row, so yeah, anything is possible.
