Warriors wins game 5,

It was a hard fought for them indeed, and it also come with a great cost, KD is out of the series  Sad

I don't know if the Warriors has only delay the inevitable, but so it seems.
7042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: June 10, 2019, 08:26:08 PM
Bookies opened at -3.5 and now spread is even, people are betting on GSW to win I can tell you this much....but we shall see.

Oh man!! I'm trying so hard to resist the temptation, literally!

I really just wanna enjoy the game with no emotional attachment  Sad

Who's ready for a come back ?

Shut up! Cheesy

You saw/read it here first.  Lips sealed

It seems KD will be definitely playing tonight, according to rotoworld, although minutes restrictions are not yet known. Even if he might not be performing up to par, I'm sure he'd be a joker and that'd cut Curry and Thompson some slack.

Who's ready for a come back ?
7044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 10, 2019, 06:36:26 PM
some rumors about Juventus interested on Semedo from Barca.

Is he good?

Semedo is awesome!

But Barcelona hasn't been making proper use of his talents, I still don't understand why Sergi Roberto he's preferred to as a right back to him, I don't want to him leave, Sergi Roberto should be deployed as midfielder, and not a right back.

Surprises will always be present in every tournament and here I don't favor one team because I'm not sure the big team with big players can perform well throughout the tournament. So I will only predict when the match will begin.

Both Brazil and Argentina have not been playing up to whats's expected of them, Both teams last 3 tournament have been disastrous, despites going to those tournaments as among the favorites, It won't be surprising though if there is another winner other than Brazil and Argentina. Chile used to be a tough team too, they are the defending champions after winning two consecutive times, but they seem to be having a series of bad form too. So no one can tell for sure who would win this.
7046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 10, 2019, 03:52:01 PM
Which clubs did he turn down?  I only heard he turned down Juve (prolly cos he was at Inter in the past?).  I was hoping he'd go to PSG.  That at least would make that league a tad more interesting.  Tho I'm excited to see how AVB (Mou's protege) will do at Marsielle.  I hope he finds success and be a great manager that he should be.

It was during an interview, he didn't mention which clubs they were, so there is a chance he's bluffing.

^  No way Tottenham is selling Eriksen and I don't think Eriksen wants to go aboard a sinking ship.  Lol.  Cheesy

The only news I've heard about Eriksen is a move to Real Madrid being likely if he's to leave Tottenham, I don't think he'd want to join Man Utd in their current situation with the stars he could be looking forward to playing all wanting out of the "Sinking Ship" like you said.

Man United is gonna give Solksjaer a huge budget for the transfer window, buy around three overpriced players, give their manager the sack on December and finish sixth at the table...  It's not gonna be pretty.

LOL!
Man Utd fans might atually prefer having him as an interim manager once again Grin
7048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 10, 2019, 03:33:45 PM
Another unfortunate event, The match has been officially abandoned, both teams will get a point.

This is absurd, the ICC should have been prepared for such occurrence, It's a world cup for crying out loud! I don't how many more matches will have to be called off like this, the less stronger team will always have the advantage in such situation, which is really unfair, IMO.
7049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 10, 2019, 03:18:32 PM
^  Mou to Newcastle could be close to a possibility of happening if the Shiek's cousin buys the club.  But knowing Mou, if it isn't Chelsea or Man United, I don't think he'll be managing another EPL club unless he's reeaallyy desperate for a job.

Mourinho shouldn't be really desperate to get a job, he's made a name for himself already. I learnt he's turned down a couple of offers already.

I doubt Mourinho will be willing to take a job at Newcastle considering how much of an ego he has, but with more than enough money for transfers that he would afforded with, he might want to get back at his previous employees.
7050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: June 10, 2019, 03:06:28 PM
I do not think KD will play and think that this series is basically over.
Some sportsbooks not only think he will play but they are offering odds that hes MVP  Grin

We will see in game time, but if he will play and the Warriors will win the Series, probably he will win the MVP award, but just like the odds which is really good, the odds of Durant Winning the Finals MVP is very slim as well.

My pick for tomorrow is under 214.5

I'm reserving my bank roll for a potential game 6 and 7, call me an optimist, idc!

However, I found a pick that interest me from my bookies, which is the Warriors to score at least 20 points in each of the 4 quarters currently offered at 2.15 odds, I'm going quite big on that, as that will be my only bet for tonight.

It's over!

...and I already took the -1.5 @1.94

Good luck with your bet bud!

I'm having mixed feelings here fr, I'm thinking GSW might pull off a great show, like they almost always do when in dire needs, I could be really, or maybe I'm just to expectant of them.
7051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: June 09, 2019, 08:48:36 PM
Congratulations to Portugal as they secured the win over the Netherlands. It was a deserved victory for them they were the better team over both halves, Netherlands were only able to record just a shot on target all through the entire game.
7052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: June 09, 2019, 06:09:23 PM
I'm taking a single bet on Netherlands @3.3 or thereabouts. Portugal will rely on Ronaldo for sure. And this will be a bridge too far.

I'm also backing the Netherlands to win the match, but I haven't placed any bet yet. I'll only be doing so on the live bets.

Portugal's reliance on Ronaldo will be evident as usual, It will be incredible to see how Van Dijk will fare against him for those area/physical duels, It's definitely going to be a huge night for him.
7053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 09, 2019, 06:00:26 PM
I'm surprised that the Raptors are even in this position.  I thought they would never make it past the conference finals to begin with.  Granted, if Durant was healthy during this entire series the Warriors would be leading.  The series still isn't over though and we all remember what happened when Golden State was up 3-1 vs Cleveland.

For fairness sake am I the only one would love to see Warriors win game 5 ? Even if KD will be unavailable ?

I'd love the Warriors to win in Toronto, then KD should be in line for the game 6, although the probability of that happening is about 40% if not less. Then just maybe the Warriors can force a game 7, that'd be such show for real!
7054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Playoffs Prediction Pool(REGISTRATION CLOSED) on: June 09, 2019, 02:03:59 PM
If Torono could win and end the series in game 5 then the scores will be

LTU_btc = 63 + 0      = 63
Hhampuz = 51 + 10  = 61
Harizen = 49 + 10     = 59
leonair = 48 + 15      = 63

If Toronto wins at 6

LTU_btc = 63 + 0      = 63
Hhampuz = 51 + 15  = 66
Harizen = 49 + 15     = 64
leonair = 48 + 20      = 68

There are some mistakes with your math,

Round 4 is  4x multiplier right ? If yes then there's no way any participant will get + 15 points... 15 is indivisible by 4 to get a whole number...

So;

If Toronto could win and end the series in game 5 then the scores will be

LTU_btc = 63 + 0      = 63
Hhampuz = 51 + 8(2x4)  = 59
Harizen = 49 + 8(2x4)     = 57
leonair = 48 + 12(3x4)      = 60

while, If Toronto wins at 6

LTU_btc = 63 + 0      = 63
Hhampuz = 51 + 12(3x4)  = 63
Harizen = 49 + 12(3x4)    = 62
leonair = 48 + 20(5x4)     = 68

7055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: June 09, 2019, 01:50:57 PM
Exactly, because they are completely a different team now, Lowly is only the old one, the rest of the starting 5 are brilliant with how the way they do their role in the series. The offense of the Raptors is not that good as the Warriors, but their defense is outstanding.

Literally, they've been brilliant defensively, but I think that has been due to the fact that they only have to defend tightly against just one or two players, They defend so tight against Curry and/or Thompson while loosing up at least a bit on other players an giving them they chance to make shots knowing they can't be as terrific as either of the aforementioned duo, It might be different case if they have KD to worry about too.

I really think that has been the major strength of Raptors this series or perhaps all post season, You can't underestimate any of their players. You afford Siakam, Green, Gasol or Van Vleet a luxury of space you get punished, none of these players can be under marked, We've seen almost all their players turn up at different occasion when the pressure are on the big players.

Come on guys, what are you waiting for here? Send 0.002BTC to the address in the OP & put your predictions in to Superbru & join our pool.

I can’t believe there’s only 9 of us so far, come on man.

I guess we are only 9 participants here because hundreds of other users in the sections are just here to meet up with their weekly sig requirements  Sad

It would have been more fun if we could reach at least 15 here before the tournament kicks off.
7057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Playoffs Prediction Pool(REGISTRATION CLOSED) on: June 09, 2019, 10:15:55 AM
If GSW wins in 7, I won't do the math  Grin

This got me! However, I don't see Warriors winning the next 3 games against this Raptors team even with Durant in the picture, they're just so full of confidence.

I think either way LTU_btc would win at least the second position, right ?

Those multipliers are really game changing factors, once round you're out then the next you're fighting for the top spot.

The crazy thing here is the fact those who went with the Raptors did so because it was their only shot at winning, as the current leading participants obviously were going to back GSW.  Lips sealed

Good luck to you guys.
7058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: June 09, 2019, 09:49:57 AM
If it wasn't for that 0-18 stretch at the start of the third quarter in gm2, this series should have ended last night.
This is what we've been debating the other day with my friends  Grin

That's part of the game, just let go and at least give the Warriors 1 win before the series ends.
Warriors fans would also counter this with more what ifs..

[1] What if Klay was not injured and played in game 3?
[2] What if Curry was no exhausted in game 3?  Grin
[3] What if Looney was not injured in game 2?
[3] What if Durant is healthy? LOL (big one)
A lots of what if indeed, but being a fan whatever happens, I'll continue to back the team up holding still since the series is not yet been over, there's still another game to play and if lucks permits the team they can extend this to another game.

Let see if luck will permits fans like me, even the game will be take place in the favor of Raptors crowd.

A lot of things didn't go as expected for Warriors, but that doesn't mean Raptors performance so far should be undermined, They've worked so brilliantly hard and lady luck has been on their side too, So they duly deserve everything they have achieved so far, Should they win the Championship no one else probably could have deserved it more. However, it would have been interesting too see how the series could have been if Warriors were in perfect shape too.

Lol, Man! I was awed last night, I couldn't believe I was watching the GSW play, they looked so clueless and short of ideas, I got so irritated how they get caught off guard repeatedly by the same Lowry's passes (most especially to Ibaka) in the 3rd and 4th Quarter.

As for FIBA, I have no idea about that yet, I'll probably be very busy with RL then, I doubt I'll follow up with it that much.
7060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 08, 2019, 11:35:26 PM
Whoever made that starting 11 put Jovic, Militao and Vasquez as starters and Benzema & Varane on the bench. Hmmm...

I also believe that Benzema will keep his place in first 11. Jovic will have to be in superb form during pre season to have a realistic chance of starting matches.

Regarding Varane, that graphic could be correct. I believe I heard somewhere that he will likely leave the club. There was some problem with him, desire to leave or wanting unrealistically big contract, don' remember exactly anymore. Supposedly Real decided to cash in on him, we shall see.

Benzema shouldn't have a problem retaining his post as Real Madrid's first choice No 9, at least for the start of the upcoming season except he gets inconsistent for a long while, or an injury lay off that could allow Jovic prove himself as the better choice.
