It's becoming ever more clear to to me that the communists are actively trying to centralise and control Bitcoin.

Assholes want to micromanage peoples daily lives, thoughts and have the ability fuck with your money at will.

Keep bitcoin decentralized at all cost!

This level of incompetence is fucking impossible.

You guys leave no doubt that this is a scam. Communist assholes!

"X-1  without case and lcd.  Having it's Android OS installed via USB"

A quote accompanying a photo of a caseless X-1 from Logic Ethos Ltd allegedly in China at the BA factory.

LCD, Android OS??? WTF are you guys smoking crack?

Next you'll be telling us the unit is delayed for another 3 months due to bugs in the iOS dual boot feature. We don't fucking need itunes on this thing.

7048  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you listen to the radio? on: May 24, 2014, 08:20:34 AM
I use to be a huge fan of the Art Bell on Coast to Coast AM but then George Noory took over and I didn't care for his new age left leaning slant on things. I haven't listened in ages now.
7049  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WARNING: Black Arrow Scam on: May 24, 2014, 07:21:29 AM
Update: 24th of May 2014

1. Batch 1 hasn't shipped.

2. Batch 2 hasn't shipped.

3. No shipping date provided.

4. Refunds refused.

5. Black Arrow claims that the X-1 units have been produced and that they're just waiting on the cases to be delivered. No proof of the units exists and requests from customers to have their units shipped without a case go unanswered.

6. FRAUD

Edit:

An image of a caseless X-1 has just appeared on the ecointalk forum. Great, now fucking ship them to the customers who requested them.

You're three fucking months late and the difficulty is 10.4 billion in 2 hours, your hardware is fucking worthless garbage now at the price we paid.

1. Batch 1 hasn't shipped.

2. Batch 2 hasn't shipped.

3. No shipping date provided.

4. Refunds refused.

5. Analysis of Black Arrow's claimed SPI problem indicates that a retarded monkey with both eyes closed and one hand tied behind his back could fix the problem in less than 5 minutes.

6. SCAMMERS

so, did the termination resistors work or not?

7052  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: May 22, 2014, 12:48:28 PM
A quick Google search on SPI indicates you need to terminate both SCK and MOSI with 1K resistors.

Update: 22nd of May 2014

1. Batch 1 hasn't shipped.

2. Batch 2 hasn't shipped.

3. No shipping date provided however, they stated:

"Please note that we are not in the position to estimate a completion time. It is possible that the fix could be solved as early as tomorrow or as late as next week."

4. Refunds refused.

5. Black Arrow has offered to ship 50 Minions or 20 PCIE hash boards in lieu of an X-3.

While this is better than the "go jump in a lake" offer we had yesterday it still falls short.

When you see UFOs up close in broad daylight the question is "what the fuck am I looking at" not "hey it's an alien spacecraft".

I'll have to say that sheeple people appear to be developing a resistance to bullshit, what a great improvement from a decade or two ago. I'm sure the demise of the idiot box has a lot to do with it.

Infact, I think you've got "them" on the run here.  Grin

5. Minion customer complains that Black Arrow isn't providing a pinout for the chip.

"We are at a work stoppage with regards to our PCB design until we can get the completed pin out and pin description." -- mchap300

Looks like minion customers won't be getting any miners to market or doing any hashing before Black Arrow does.
7057  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: May 21, 2014, 01:36:53 AM
A Minion customer is complaining that BA isn't giving them the pin-out for the chip on ecointalk. GG
You mean the Minion Data Sheet that is posted for download on their website?
http://www.blackarrowsoftware.com/download/minion_preliminary_datasheet_2014.04.11.pdf

Also the post I think you are mentioning the person isn't complaining they won't give him the information, its the company he contracted wishes to know more details of the chips and he's asking for it on their forums which BA employees read.

The data sheet for the minion provided by BA is not for the chip that customers were shipped.

It looks to like minion customers are also fucked. I'm sure BA will provide the pinout as soon as their prosperos ship...
7058  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: If you consider getting an ASIC machine, read this on: May 20, 2014, 12:34:29 PM
If you had a machine that literally printed money, would you sell it?

If my machine's cost was $100 and I could print $1000 out of its lifecycle, I would print $700 out of it and then sell it for $200.
The customer would be happy that he paid $200 and printed $300

That's what BFL-like companies are doing in ASIC pre-orders.

Lots of happy pre-order customers on this forum...

7060  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WARNING: Black Arrow Scam on: May 20, 2014, 11:16:06 AM
I think what would be a bonus for dealing with such companies would be an escrow, maybe linked to a delivery company, so only when the item has been dispatched to the correct address that the bitcoins are released to the company. I am sure a automated service like this could be made, of course you would need to have the delivery company somehow flag the escrow for release.

My money was used to pay VeriSilicon and GlobalFoundries. I'm not just a customer, I financed this ASIC for Black Arrow.

So no, the escrow model doesn't work. The pre-order model is a organized criminal scam.
