7041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of Canada calling for Cryptocurrency intervention? on: February 21, 2017, 11:26:06 PM
The centralized Bank of Canada has went forward and made the bold claim that "Digital Currencies Will Not Be Safe Without Government Intervention" and they feel that without government intervention / support none of these cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin will be able to thrive and be used. The claim does make sense in the fact that governments will be the only people that can fully allow a currency to be adopted without an issue.

What are your thoughts on Bitcoin needing government intervention / centralization to survive?

Article - https://news.bitcoin.com/digital-currencies-need-government-intervention-bank-canada/
This is the propaganda for bitcoin, it's really clear if a bank of the Canada scared caused by bitcoin. We know if the bitcoin alive without needing the government/centralization. Bitcoin will still survive in the future.  Angry

No, you can't. Golem is the fixed supply and not mineable.
7044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer on: February 21, 2017, 02:37:12 AM

7045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔹🅰RK🔹[ANN][ARK] A Platform for Consumer Adoption with SmartBridge🔹 on: February 21, 2017, 02:03:37 AM
I fear for Ark investors, it seems the team is lacking the technical depth to make this project work. There is no concrete update on the state of the project and seems it is going to suffer thesame way Lisks its mother project is suffering from lack of talented developers on their team

this is the weakest FUD sauce I've seen in a long time.  You really need to work on your delivery, not very convincing yet.

Cana, why is my account still showing zero balance on his nominal?I mean the nominal of the bounty is not getting accumulate on the bounty account. thanks cana for your answer.
7046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can I transfer my cash without leaving a trace? on: February 21, 2017, 12:30:07 AM
Hi. I have some money in a bank account. I have the ability to do transfers out of my bank account. I am looking for a way to transfer the money from my bank account, to bitcoins. And then some kind of way to withdraw the bitcoins back into cash. Mainly I am looking for a way to break the link between the initial bank account, and the cash at the end. I figured using bitcoins in the middle would be the best way to do this. Please could somebody offer me some advice or some services that are able to do this.
Try to use the exchange site such as virwox, localbitcoin or coinmama. and then after getting your bitcoin and sell them in this time your amount already get a mixer. and feeling free for sending your amount into the other bank account. but you need to prove all of the ID. that's really complicated.
7047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have found a wallet with 40 BTC on: February 21, 2017, 12:22:16 AM

7048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS BITCOIN WALLET APP REALLY RELIABLE? on: February 21, 2017, 12:13:52 AM
Because everytime the price of bitcoin always changing and the system does not have 100% accuracy to pick the current rate in every second and that's normal in my mind. And there is no the reliable bitcoin wallet app.
7049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If every Bitcoin user would run Bitcoin miner in home? on: February 21, 2017, 12:05:55 AM
Would it help for Bitcoin network if i run 1 Bitcoin Miner?
I am thinking about supporting bitcoin network.
I know that we have businesses who runs thousands of miners, to earn money, but i don't want to earn, i want just to support Bitcoin network and i wonder do my contribution would help, or we just need leave all the work for big miners?

Last question, would 1 confirmation time - 20 minutes would be the same if every  Bitcoin user would run atleast 1 miner in home?
Because the decentralized system of bitcoin was making the bitcoin network is different with the private blockchain and it will be useful. there is no the node with high trustability.

The confirmation depends on the bitcoin network (the blocks to validating the transaction)
7050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin anonymous on: February 20, 2017, 02:09:08 AM
i've read about it and come with a conclusion on a website : New users should be warned that if you plan to use a mixer service, be sure to vet its reliability before putting coins into the platform. Some mixers are just scam sites looking to steal your bitcoins. You may also end up with someone else’s coins that have a history of criminal activity. In the end, using your own addresses to mix coins may be the most secure method, if less convenient.

so what do you advice me for bitcoin mixer?

Or just try to mix it using the wallet exchange site. I just see it about the little mixer service. but I always using bitmixer and never had a problem. With using the exchange site and you will get new random generate address.

7052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is dogecoin worth trading? on: February 20, 2017, 01:18:45 AM
i want to buy a little of dogecoins but is it even worth it? i cant even find where to buy/sell it really .
Nope, just try think to buy the other coin. But this coin is not good for the short term trading. with low of the volatility. I can say just try the another coin. there are others much better than doge coin.

7054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple, Microsoft, Mercedes Benz Accepting Bitcoin on: February 20, 2017, 12:52:57 AM

7055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as form of payment for government services on: February 20, 2017, 12:47:47 AM
It would be nice if gouverments will accept bitcoin as a legit payment,

According to the fact bitcoin still, have a lot of the problem with the government permission and bitcoin is still not become the legal payment of the government.
Based on the regulation and bitcoin is not full fill the legal criteria of the legitimate currency by the government.
7056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Going Mainstream Banks Are Disappearing on: February 20, 2017, 12:40:08 AM
Looks like Chinese politician method is one of the best.
They are not allowing to withdraw bitcoin, that will cause price increase and more attention from media while price is rising, attracting more investors.

If i wrong fix me.

But Does PBOC never say about the preventing act for the pyramid scheme? I hope you ever hear about it.

At least it's up to you to aware it looks like a scenario had made by the PBOC.
7057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goodbye Bitcoin on: February 20, 2017, 12:32:44 AM
@RealBitcoin: I agree with you that the current stalemate (Segwit/BU) will do (possible severe) harm to Bitcoin if it continues more than a few months. But I think you miss also some valid points.

Holliday has already mentioned a couple of points: It's not that easy to design a blockchain with cheap transactions, limited supply, decentralization and high security. And the altcoins you mention don't have the problem of the full blocks.

The average altcoin doesn't have a block problem, but the block size drama really sucks. Some of the parties trying to run the explicit consensus at the same time. With the different vision and argue. that's very bad.
7058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs ETH? on: February 19, 2017, 08:06:59 AM
Bitcoin is still the best choice to hold for yearly than ethereum because the movement of ethereum will not increase anymore or the highest price that i experience in ethereum was $14 and i think ethereum is just good for buy low  and sell high in short period of time..

this is what i can agree on. and this actually is what i do.
obviously i am a Bitcoin Hodler for long term and when it comes to altcoins i am just a short term trader.

many say ethereum is going to be big and go to the moon in long term,... and lots of things like that. while i don't fully disagree with them but i say until i see some real potential and some real movement (not pumps) i don't see ethereum going to the moon at all.
You couldn't disagree if you'd bought every ethereum coin at 0.5 cents on 2014 and sell them $13 for each coin. Many people are not seeing it from the technical possession. but more to the possession of the value.
7059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting upcoming altcoin ICOs? on: February 19, 2017, 07:59:55 AM
SuperDAO, already has decentralised Poker app in beta, and other apps in development, plus DAO organisational structure is prepared.

Wow that's the new generation of the DAO? With bigger threshold rather than The DAO project.

It looks like dealing with gambling mode.
7060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: February 19, 2017, 05:29:19 AM
A big 10% increase in Dash price today , don't sell wait . People will sell off and the price will decrease again then don't wait , just buy as much as you can . Dash has good future so you can hold it instead of selling.
