3rd Round Participants Predictions(Score multiplier: x3):

It's now about not getting zero points, because even being 2 game away from the correct series would get you 6 points, which is more than the points for a correct score prediction during the first round.

Good luck to everyone.

So, it's official - Griezmann is leaving Atletico Madrid after this season. And guess from one time where he will move now. I'm not sure why, but as a fan of Barca I'm looking a bit sceptical towards him. I have fears that story of Coutinho can repeat again...

No, please!!!
I really love Griezmann's personality but not as a player, and he's definitely not a kind of player that would be suitable to play in the Barcelona style. He's not even a proper centre forward, Barcelona should just look elsewhere, or this could another transfer blunder.
7063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 14, 2019, 07:26:05 PM
But I think it might be not the best idea for Eden to choose Real Madrid for the next season.

Why not ? If you're thinking because of Real Madrid's current form, Chelsea are not in anyway better than Real Madrid, and from my perspective, It's best time for him to join Real Madrid to start and lead a new proposed revolution.
7064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 14, 2019, 02:40:11 PM
Indeed Man City ambitions wants to bring europe trophy to their home ground that's why almost every season they bought an expensive players and several times changing the manager but apparently the results were beyond their expectation because every seasons they even never reach to final match

That is something that the public already knows like. That Manchester City has no mentality in Europe. The fear at EPL is feared, but in Europe, of course Manchester City seems to have no mentality to become a champion in terms of European matches like UCL. Even though they buy expensive players every year. Hopefully next year will prove and solve the curse.

Wtf is this horse sh*t?  The CL is so damn hard to win cos of its format.  It's a tourney format played with two matches each and you're out if you lose the aggregate or thru penalites if tied in aggregate.  Luck becomes more of a factor.  Couple that with playing the best in Europe and the EPL's more hectic schedule and you got a much harder time to win it imho.

It's already amazing there are two EPL clubs that survived and went to the final.

Luck indeed does play a big factor when it comes to UCL, Look Real Madrid 3 consecutive triumphs, None of those years were Real Madrid playing exceptional football, and La Liga could highlight that, they even struggle at the group stages sometimes. It wasn't as if winning the Uefa Champions League was their primary goal for any those season, but they seem to be favored in terms of either how their schedule was or who their opponents were at some stages of the competition. I'm not saying they don't deserve any of those trophies or they didn't had to work hard too, but then, make a comparison of their efforts those years to that of Ajax for this season, would you say Ajax deserve it any less than Real Madrid in any of those seasons ?
7065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 14, 2019, 07:47:26 AM
Serie A already has champions but what's interesting is the struggle between AC Milan, Atlanta, Roma and Inter
each team will prioritize wins to take 3rd and 4th place , the most awaited Atlanta will be against Juventus in the next match

they all still have 6 points to catch, it's a great challenge, we can see here a great final battle for the 3rd place

My pick is Inter  Cool

Inter should be to make the top 4 easily, They are currently a point ahead of Atalanta now and 4 points ahead of both Torino and AC Milan, a win from two games will secure a place for them.

What caught my attention in yesterday's fixture was that Chelsea got the 3rd place. And not because they won, but because Everton managed to get a tie against Tottenham. It was a great gift from Everton to Chelsea Cool

I don't think there's any difference for finishing either 3rd or 4th position in the premier league, In the end both teams are automatically qualified for group stages of the Champions League next season, except if there's a difference in the what the FA would pay respective teams for finishing in either position, but I still doubt it would be a significant difference for the club, if it were to be so.

Even though it's not official yet and it will only be announced after the Europa League's final, Eden Hazard will join Real Madrid for about 100 million Euros.

I'm happy for him, It's quite a certain he's heading to the Spanish Capital. He's also gone ahead to advise Chelsea to stick with current coach Maurizio Sarri.

Perhaps winning the Europa league will be a befitting way to end his playing in the Chelsea shirt.

@leonair, can you also update us with the grand total thus far?

Check the second post on the first page, He updated it there.

I was thinking of a side bet of 0.0015-0.002, in a winner take all for this round ? anyone(s) Interested ? Or any suggestions ?

We could send the fee it to the escrow address as well, If that won't be a problem with Hhampuz ?

Most of us will bet on the favorites, so we might see a lot of winners in this round competition.
It doesn't make sense IMO as one could bet online like the Blazers will get x5, so if I'm a Blazers fan, I would just choose to send my money in my sportsbook.

You're right, I didn't think it through, I only thought since our bets will be about the correct game series score and using the current format of the thread, that we see just a single or 2 winners at most (IMO), If only just one goes for Blazer for instance and they did win it It wouldn't matter if they get series predictions wrong they'll get win unlike with the sportbooks.

7072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: May 13, 2019, 12:45:17 AM
Oh Geez, I lost betting in an underdog team HOUSTON ROCKETS. I was more confident that houston will going to win because CP3 is present and in good condition. Now, seems likr GSW will going to take the championship. No team for now in the east that could beat the GSW current line up.

Whoever team that will going to play with GSW for sure it will be tough for them to win the championship. GSW has all time scoring champ KD with other star players.

KD ? I doubt the Warriors can be still be hopeful for his return during this playoffs, If they make it to the finals, perhaps.

If you have been following the NBA playoffs, you'll know well enough that Durant has been out injured since game 5.

Any else watching Raptors vs 76ers ? This could be another upset for @Stadus 57 - 60 as at the time of this post.

Blazers +5.5 and ML

I already got my first win here, both plus points and moneyline.

CJ was on fire tonight and indeed he gave Lillard the support while Lillard is struggling.

Congratulations!

Lillard unselfishness and being more of a team player helped too, He knew he was struggling and didn't mind or help the game go through CJ was an important factor too.

I can't even believe they at some point during game 17 points behind.

Congratulations on your bet mate!

Good luck on your 76ers bet as well, I lost both bets already since mine were parlays and I'm calling it a night already on any bet.

Looks like the people who took denver -5.5 to cover are going to get their wish cause portland is playing like crap and are trailing the nuggets by over 13 points in the second half. They are just getting dominated and I believe they are going to get removed from the playoff picture today.
I dont trust toronto either so went for the points for the game instead.

Looks like the table has turned, it's now a single point as we head into the 4th quarter, 72 - 71 in favor of Nuggets.

My over bet is definitely a loss, as things stand except this game goes to an overtime.

It might end has very close game.
7075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: May 12, 2019, 07:16:44 PM
As a side bet, I just tried my luck on Over/Under for both games as well, as a parlay bet.

Nuggets vs Blazers: Over 212 @ 1.97 odds

Raptors vs 76ers: Over 212 @ 2.06 odds

Total odds: 4.05 Odds.

Good luck!
7076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: May 12, 2019, 06:50:34 PM
Barcelona seals a win 2-0 against Getafe. Kinda decent play from Barcelona. Not so pumped while on other hand Getafe had so many good chances and they all wasted it. Oh the header from Molina was almost going for the back of the net but glad that didn't ended up there. Still a good game after all.

Vidal was putting himself so much today. Wished if he could have done same in the second leg...

I don't want to talk about Liverpool vs Barcelona game again, but Vidal was arguably Barcelona's best player that night, the was energetic and providing the a lot duels, Coach was just unreasonable to have started him for that game, he was much more need when there was huge pressure on Barcelona, but that was when the Coach decided to substitute him out.

Getafe champions league hope has faced a setback as Valencia are now 4th on the table after coming from behind to win against Alaves.

The Title chase is over, and Mahrez with an incredible goal ensures that!

3 - 1 in favor of the Citizens,

Permit me to be the first to wish them Congratulations as the official 2018/2019 Champions of the Premier league.

Race for the Golden Boot is still up ?
How is the winner decided if the top 2 participants are tied ?
7078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 12, 2019, 03:19:59 PM
Everyone's focused on the title race, but don't forget that there's also a battle for the last CL spot in the league table between Spurs and the Gunners. Burnley vs Arsenal, the latter have a terrible record away, and their recent form in league is just pathetic (1W 1D 3L). Home win @3.05 is hard to pass up.

That's almost an impossible spot to fight for, because Arsenal must win 4-0 and Spurs lose 4-0. Nobody in his right mind thinks that's interesting to predict.

Cardiff have the lead against Utd that was I recall 8/1

@toke the odds were a clean 2/1 for Brighton +2 at start of match. Wasn't worth it in my opinion. 2-1 to City and they have the lion's share of possession plus shots, and we're still 40 minutes way from final whistle. I really can't see how Brighton can even draw, but hey, feel free to surprise me, boys!

I'm going to try not to focus on other match but can't help it. The commentary, cameras on the fans and Kenny Dalglish checking his phone and live updates are harping me on.

Of course there's almost no chance of that happening, but the last week has showed quite the opposite, Tottenham are ahead already, that's a done deal.

I'm only pissed about just a single thing this game week, and that's Man Utd losing the last game of the season at home for crying out loud, against Cardiff city.

I'm bound to lose almost all by bets Sad
7079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 12, 2019, 02:44:25 PM
Wooooooooow

City behind LFC in front

Last game Come On !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still long game !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

F*** one minute later equalised

That was an instant response from City, It would have been a tougher task if they are to go behind at halftime.

There is much time for anything to happen again, I'm saving my reactions for the 2nd half > 75 minutes.
7080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 12, 2019, 01:52:21 PM
Liverpool lost their chance when they magically made a 9 point lead just vanish into thin air with their lacklustre performances after Christmas, Manchester City should they win will be worthy winners in my opinion.

Aren't Manchester City culpable of dropping six points out of 2 games when they were at the top of the table ? If Liverpool shouldn't win they wouldn't be any less worthy than Man City, with their respective points each of them would top every single top leagues in Europe, and would have won the league in most of these leagues as well this season.
