7061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why target binance? on: August 14, 2021, 04:29:05 PM
Binance exchange is having some issues with wrong accusations lately probably because it's the best, the government sees this as a gateway for money laundering network instead of the ease it brings for crypto investors, honestly the future of the exchange looks uncertain since the CEO himself said he is willing to step down if he see someone to take over but no one, I repeat no one is as good as CZ, I hope things won't come to this, CZ wants the best for crypto not just the money
You cannot stop those governments that are thinking about that with Binance because there really are people that do that. As for CZ, he's an intelligent guy, and don't think that he's too soft for that. How many challenges he has surpassed with his company?
These obstacles are part of another big growth that's going to come with his exchange and that's really needed for him and his company to take those obstacles on so that they'll grow and the future will be an act of sweet revenge for them once most countries are good with them.
7062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: NFT on: August 14, 2021, 02:46:59 PM
We are experiencing a pandemic, not just an epidemic. Well, with ridiculousness by NFTs you mean? Just as the ICO days and IEO and others, there's now the trend.
We don't know how long this is going to stay but since 2017, there's already an NFT during that time, the cryptokitties. And this time, this is going to stay as we're talking and I think many of them will also be out in the market for sure and will eventually die.
7063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Axie Infinity farming on: August 14, 2021, 12:05:07 PM
Wouldn't it be better investing in a piece of land inside the game and then getting the passive income it comes with?
But that's my opinion tho
Lands are already pricey even if you're just getting a Savannah plot or that land that's too far from the center. I still don't know how the feature of playing with the land. But it's for sure a good investment but when being said as a passive income, I don't know yet the mechanics and they haven't introduced it. I think once the devs have finally introduced the gameplay of it. I've watched some videos about its game play but I'm still confused about it. Well, if you have the amount to buy a land, why not.

Are there multiplayer games on it?
Only player versus player.
7064  Economy / Economics / Re: We exited the bear market earler than expected on: August 14, 2021, 10:25:13 AM
But we're already in August.  Tongue
Bitcoin to reach another ATH has to surpass the past ATH that we've got. And I agree with you that holding is always effective as it is. You just have to accumulate as many bitcoins as you can or if not a whole bitcoin since it's becoming expensive. Try to catch in decimals until you see your holding grow overtime.

That means maybe at the end of August Bitcoin will return to the ATH price, but expecting Bitcoin to rise above $60k in late August this might take
good news, which is able to trigger the price of Bitcoin to rise even faster. If not Bitcoin may be at the end of August will only reach the price of $50k.
But for me if Bitcoin fails to return to the ATH price at the end of August this will not be a problem, because so far Bitcoin has moved up, and we must
be grateful that Bitcoin is back on the right track. I agree that now we need to collect as much Bitcoin as possible and hold it until the price target
we want is reached.
Hopefully that it would be by the end of August but the overview that we're seeing to the half of this month, it's truly positive and there's nothing to complain about the move of bitcoin that we're seeing lately. Price becomes stable and support is getting higher, we should reach the ceiling in no time soon. It's not a problem if bitcoin doesn't get to the ATH as long as this price that we're seeing right now is totally maintained, well, what can we ask for with that? it's already a great price since last year despite the pandemic that has ever happened.
7065  Economy / Economics / Re: knowledge and Capital which is Very important in Business or Investment? on: August 14, 2021, 09:32:54 AM
Both, as usual, you cannot start a business if you don't have capital. And you're just wasting your money if you're going to start without the proper knowledge with the business or investment that you're going to try and chip in. That's the basic thing that an investor should do, you need to know what you're investing in or starting as a business. In my experience, I did some investments and businesses before but those only required little capital but without depth knowledge with it, I've lost them but that's a good experience and I learned from those.
7066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anything make you stop gambling on: August 14, 2021, 08:24:31 AM
I can stop myself from doing it. You think of your priorities and you can do that but it's a different thing if you're feeling joy with it. As long as you're doing it moderately and you're not harming others' wallets with what you're feeling, that's totally fine. Your situation also going to differ from the others who are feeling the same. If you're living a wealthy life then there's no need for you to think of your losses and you're just going to have fun and even if somebody stops you, it's the joy that makes you push yourself from doing it. But if you're just the typical guy who aims to win and hoping for that fortune and doesn't have much in the bank account, the result will vary and satisfaction.
7067  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep Bitcoin while getting benefits on: August 14, 2021, 07:23:53 AM
2) Stake your Bitcoin holding on exchange site that have SAFU, plantform like Sovryn (i heard they provide an outstanding APY for USDT staking), or casino that provides dividends.
This are the profitable way I know that you keep your holding and get more benefit.
I would avoid staking it on any exchange even they are reputable. It may look profitable but I won't compromise the safety of my bitcoin. Well, in those staking features in exchanges, the more you stake, the higher profit that you shall receive, and that encourage depositors to put more bitcoin at stake. But isn't that too risky for someone who thinks about it? I haven't used any stake in any exchange like that you've mentioned and prolly won't do any of it in the future. I'll keep it on my wallet which I think is better.
7068  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Magdagdag ng bagong coins si Coins.PH!!! on: August 14, 2021, 06:04:57 AM
Curious lang, may nakaisip na ba na what if due to the current trned ng Axie eh ilagay ni Coins si SLP? Papatok kaya?
7069  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: August 14, 2021, 01:21:04 AM

7070  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading vs Holding on: August 13, 2021, 11:42:49 PM
Some will say it's hodling but think about it, if you become proficient with trading, you can actually make more money out of your portfolio compared to just hodling since you are active but it's really difficult to be proficient to the point that you don't experience any losses.
Yeah, that's a fact in trading. But do you think that you'll be able to attain that profitability most of the time? as you've said if you're good but even those good traders, they're also having a bad day. It's your choice, if you're good at trading then use that skill that you have. You have learned from it and you invested your time to be a good one. In holding, you don't do a lot yet it's very rewarding. Both are good sources if you're good at it and both of them require a lot of patience. There are also that are both gifted, has a good trading capability and has a big portfolio on hold.
7071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 13, 2021, 11:12:59 PM
It is still part of parenting. They have an important role but there's a need to know what's the root cause of it. For children that are engaged with those things early, you really have to look at how the parents take care of them. If it's not for the parent's negligence, they will find the cause of it and will help their children to teach and explain why they shouldn't be engaged with those things. Too bad for those children that are engaged with those early if they've got no parents anymore but they should have the guardian or any relative that takes care of them.
Parenting is surely playing a big role for their kids to be raised up well and properly but there are factors which could really affect their decisioning and it would vary on how they've been able to aware
on some possible situations that they might encounter.

Not only gambling is exposed to children but other things as well which might be immoral or something which isn't good for young minds.

Its the job or responsibility of a parent on taking good care and leading them into a good path.

Yes, it's their role to protect their children from everything that these kids might discover in a harmful way. Their young minds will definitely think of it most of the time and cannot stop getting on it from time to time if they've introduced and discovered those things that they shouldn't. Like gambling and other internet materials that are too innocent for their minds and eyes. We all know it and if you're a parent you understand that because when we're on our younger days up to teenage days, we know how it goes.
7072  Economy / Speculation / Re: The power of Bitcoin HODLing on: August 13, 2021, 10:45:03 PM
It is powerful. Others find it not that effective because they don't look at how it's doing for the past years. But with this strategy, it is what we're hoping to give us decent profit in the near future. Maybe with the next halving, we're going to see every price for bitcoin at 6 digits and that makes it a stable price there, and with another halving, maybe sort of near to 7 digits for which everyone finds it impossible before. But now, we're all looking forward to that day until it happens.
7073  Economy / Economics / Re: We exited the bear market earler than expected on: August 13, 2021, 10:18:53 PM
What is happening with bitcoin right now makes us worth hoping for a lot, an increase of more than 15% in a week makes a bull run happen soon, I believe in august the price can reach ATH so holding on is the most profitable option.
7074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a new blockchain that will compete with Ethereum? on: August 13, 2021, 09:48:58 PM
We all know about huge transaction fees, not the most convenient scaling and the difficulties of entering the ecosystem. Are there projects that will provide people with the best conditions for the implementation of their ideas in the cryptoworld?
The competitor recently of Ethereum upon fees is the BSC/BNB. There are other projects that have been working with that chain because they find the fee to be cheaper than usual. But if you just want to have the cheap fees upon transfers, there really are other altcoins that can offer you that. Some choices are Dogecoin, Litecoin, TRX, XRP, Nano and there are others more. Those are the coins that I've been seeing when people are talking about cheap fees.
7075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what's with "axie infinity"? on: August 13, 2021, 11:23:18 AM
Axie Infinity players and as well as holders of AXS token, there's good news that just came. AXS is now on Coinbase, it is official!
The official Twitter account of Coinbase posted it. (https://twitter.com/coinbase/status/1425962185264558080)
There's a recent price increase and seems to be an unstoppable growth for the native token of Axie Infinity which is the AXS. With this news, the price of AXS will become more expensive I think and even if the developers have lessened the required AXS for breeding from 4 to 2, it's still going to be considered as expensive.
7076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'White Hat' hacker has returned most of the stolen $600 million crypto tokens on: August 13, 2021, 10:21:02 AM
I wouldn't validate that as a white hat hacker. If he's that type of hacker, he'll contact immediately Poly network's administration that he has found some vulnerabilities that can be exploited by people like him. But no, he chose to hack them without any words of notification and didn't inform them that he has found it yet instead, he has taken them. Well, it seems that he's the good guy now because of the amount that was taken and returned.

did Mr White Hat find it difficult to move or sell these tokens thought the Poly blockchain operates on interoperability. Could the hacker have found it difficult to exchange stolen cryptocurrency  for cleaner coins
Probably, since the wallet address that has been tracked to him can or probably have been blocked and blacklisted already by the other possible exchanges where he can sell those stolen stuff.
7077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple still standing on: August 13, 2021, 09:29:28 AM
So why is no one talking about ripple anymore? On this thread weeks back there are many posts about ripple going to its death bed soon because of SEC lawsuits and now everything is just silent, you guys have accepted your defeat or what? Cos ripple is now a winner
It's a winner for you because it's pumping a bit recently but to those that are believing that the lawsuit players a vital role in its future, it won't the minds until it's already clear. The thing about the lawsuit is that it had delayed the pump, unlike the other coins that have been pumping together ever since the bull run has acted. Well, for those people who have kept their XRP, AFAIK, the lowest that it made was $0.3 so if you guys bought at that price and you've held until now at $1.03 then congratulations to all of you.
7078  Local / Pamilihan / Re: GCash is planning to add cryptocurrencies! on: August 13, 2021, 08:48:25 AM
7079  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Hiring Axie Infinity Players (scholars) on: August 13, 2021, 03:46:33 AM
@mk4.

7080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful what you choose to invest in now, not all coins will recover. on: August 12, 2021, 11:59:09 PM
This is an absolutely brilliant advice. You don't just go into the market and start buying just any old coins because you feel it would do good. Just take a look at all the coins that rocked 2018 altcoin season. Vast majority of them have lost over 90 percent of their value. So chose wisely when investing it altcoins
Just as the same with other types of coins. Like the meme coins that have taken the attention of mass investors and they're not likely stopping with that craze although the reality is that the craze and hype for meme coins have already stopped. The problem is that the newbies are still holding onto it and think that there's more that they've missed and something to show as they wait. But they don't know what exactly they're doing and they're only in the massive loss and can't accept the fact that they're too late already and the shows over for the meme coins.
