Keep in it in a piggy bank and it will stay the same way.  Grin

Look, with every investment there is risk alongside it. It is just larger in the crypto currency industry. You are risking more by trading it though. Holding it wont make you much so better just do the risk.

How to keep yourself safe? Better see to it that the money you will be using is not for rental payment or electric bill and any other bills.
That means it is just an excess of what you are making. That way there will be not much regret when you lose it.

Ok guys, let move on and not discuss about Melo anymore.  Grin. I'm really interested to see what's the reason behind Paul George opting to stay with OKC despite their poor showing last season. OKC have every reason to suspect that Paul will leave because he wanted to play close to home, with the Los Angeles Lakers. However, it looks like Russ has played a major part and it seems those two are pretty close more than we initially thought. And for me that is the reason why he stayed with OKC, those two are building up some chemistry it and out of the court.

That might be correct.

George became the wingman of Westbrook and both do good when it comes to the offense. Looks like Westbrook found the family that he had been looking for with PG13.  Grin
If that is the case then they might show good stats this season. I believe George is still at his peak and will be showing a better offense once the chemistry goes stronger.
With 3 more years for Steven Adams then they are almost a complete team. They just need Roberson to be back for defense and Schroder to be a good 2nd team point guard in case Westbrook's stamina gets depleted.
7063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: July 31, 2018, 12:38:46 PM

Yes, it looks like he lost some of his mentality about the game, specially what has happened to him in New York. Well Grant Hill just injured badly, but he somewhat improved a lot of defence that's why teams are still interested on him. While Carter loves shooting outside and can still put up some points and show flashes of his old self. Anthony though is different, no fire in his eye, no defence, shooting becomes worst.

Grant Hill still proved himself worthy in his Phoenix times with Steve Nash. He can still run with the young players doing a lot of fastbreaks even with the injury that he had.

I guess you are right. There is no more fire in Melo. That kind of game where he could change the flow of it is left in the Denver histories.
After that there were no more explosions from him at New York Knicks. He is lucky that Knicks preserved him there with a good salary.
If I am the Houston Management, I would rather risk it with a young player.

It's rare for a player past the age of 35 to still perform at an elite level.  There are a few examples such as Kareem, Karl Malone, Jordan. etc.  I don't think Carmelo has the work ethic to contribute much to a new team at this point in his career.  Melo was never big on winning, he went to New York for the fame and the money, it wasn't about winning with Anthony.

Correct.
You will see how much a player will bring to the game when he want that championship.
Look at how Jordan even took the Defensive player of the year.  He had nothing to prove those years and yet he still did it.
Hard work and competitiveness, all of that are actually lost in the NBA. They began to just think about the salary.

I am not saying all of them though, but mostly.
7064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best exchange for a new crypto investor? on: July 31, 2018, 09:05:51 AM
Same with the 1st who replied to you. Binance. It is the most popular nowadays and because of that the movement out there doesnt stop.
When you are a day trader that is all you need.
A fluctuation which never ends.
Although some of them are just bots it is helpful for you can make profit out of it.
7065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to start an ICO? on: July 30, 2018, 11:02:08 PM
Yes you need the people to participate but you will have to start it. You have said nothing of what project it is.
I read your other replies and you are just saying it is unique.
I know you dont want to tell it yet for it not to be copied.

Make a whitepaper then, without it we will have no idea on which branch we should point you out.
We are all mere guessing here without accurate answers.
7066  Economy / Economics / Re: BANKS offers LOANS. on: July 30, 2018, 07:01:32 PM
I think it will be difficult, look at bitcoin prices, the price is very volatile, it means very easy to change. what if someone borrows a bitcoin when the price is 8000 US dollars and returns it at 7000?

I don't think they want bitcoin in return. They need profit from it. It can be through USD with some percentage for the number of months before you can pay in full amount.

If it is bitcoin to bitcoin payment that you want then the lending section here is all ready for that.
Banks will have their own kind of payment to deal with. If it is crypto to crypto then good but I doubt that will happen.

7068  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade? on: July 30, 2018, 02:56:50 PM
It would better be fluctuating in higher amount per day.
There is no sense doing a day trade with no movement. That is Hodling. Grin

Better to just invest with something else than risk with something which is unknown.
Popular crypto currencies tend to fluctuate much, so go that way and stay with the flow.
7069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULD WE GET ALL HATERS OF BITCOIN OUT OF HERE? on: July 29, 2018, 11:53:03 PM
If you want an echo chamber, I suggest you sign up for Facebook.

If Bitcoin is not strong enough to withstand some criticism, then we should all be cashing out now.

Good answer.

I believe everything have a critic behind it. If they hate it too much then they could get out on their own. This people will get tired somehow.

Even each president have critics behind them and somehow they need to withstand it to create a better country. Let them be. If they are ignored then they stop making chaos. If you answer them then they will debate more until you become the loser.
7070  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning day trading on: July 29, 2018, 11:16:20 PM
I do know they give tips but theyare not that accurate.
If they made you take profit from that then something is fishy.

If it all came from them then it might be a manipulated event. Better be wary with this. They might be planning something bad. Giving away cents for hundreds in exchange.

A strategy like a bait for the greater scam. We know there is a lot of channels like that either in telegram or discord.
7071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what prevents projects from keeping token value? on: July 29, 2018, 07:48:46 PM
You already have the answer to the question.

It wont go up in value because of the lazy team behind it. They see how much the profit they made from the ICO and just want to run away taking the money with them.
They are really not the project type for long time holders.
You should seek for something that will gain value short term or long term. Pick one and be sure that if it is short term then withdraw quickly after a good listing.
7072  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many new Exchanges on: July 29, 2018, 06:36:50 PM
Are you sure those are real people trading out there?
We know bots could be easily bought now or be made.
Look at binance, yobit, hitbtc and idex. All of these exchanges can be seen trades moving like crazy. You could try it out by opening one order and you will see another will pop out in just seconds.

Yes it is beginning to bloat with exchanges. It aint good and a lot of ICO's now have projects which is just like a copy of binance or idex.
7073  Economy / Economics / Re: Isnt it time to give up cryptocurrency ranking on: July 29, 2018, 05:38:35 PM
One thing I know. Stop looking at coinmarketcap. That is a hell of fake news for me.
There is not much of a legitimate market of one crypto currency.

I saw a lot of projects which are really good and yet they are ranked at the thousands number. It is disappointing to see more people are relying on that and they are doing some math with the market cap and whatever it is.
Even with the good exchanges listed by them they are still somewhere at the bottom.
7074  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prices are Back Burning on: July 29, 2018, 04:34:37 PM
Now that is a new word for me. Back burning.  Grin

I guess some investors just got banged their head to reality. Truth was revealed to them into where they should really invest.
Altcoins now are being too risky. You go buy ICO tokens and then suddenly they are dust when listed in an exchange.
Yes, before there was people who made a ton of money out of it. But with this lot of competition it is hard to say which will really get a real value.
7075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: July 29, 2018, 03:53:56 PM
I read somewhere that Anthony will be Rockets' third option in offense. How come he is better option in offense than Gordon lol? You can compare Gordon with him, Gordon is way over Carmelo's league.
Gordon is better in shooting but not an all around shooter, the length and the strength of melo is a difference maker.
Well, we cannot conclude now, what I am saying is just based on their past performance, if Melo will step up, then for sure Rockets has a chance to be the number 1 in the west again.
Melo is no longer a difference maker.

And that is the truth.
He became a Grant Hill like and Carter like player but he did not get injured badly.
Shooting outside without inside moves anymore. Just doing perimeter shots and back down for 2 to 3 times for a fadeaway.
This aint his game before. He might be getting old but so is Lebron and yet they are way different with the kind of games they play.
The agility of Melo is not there anymore.
7076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How have you impact people with cryptocurrency knowledge on: July 29, 2018, 01:11:31 PM
In my circle of friends I actually did impact 2 out of 10 and I think that is fine. After I tell them stories about bitcoin specially that pizza deal which is being told here much then in just a month when I saw them again they are the once who have stories.

They invested at like 1k USD to 1 bitcoin. Now, they are still in profit but dont want to withdraw.
It is an invesment though, and they want to keep holding it for more years.
7077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learning Day Trading on: July 29, 2018, 11:09:15 AM
Recently I asked about day trading tips on this forum and got really nice response. Some one introduced me to Voodoo day trading community where I found perfect atmosphere to learn day trading and technical analysis:  https://discord.gg/yBmNzRm I have spent last whole week in the free channel in the group and learnt some interesting tricks and earned a decent amount of money.

But it feels like to reach the next level, I have to join paid channel. I wanted to ask that is it worth to pay for learning day trading or I could found free stuff instead? This forum has been a great help to me in past. I hope I will get some valuable feedback this time too.

Look, you already made some profit and that is the first and last step of it if you aint that greedy.
Going in what you are saying paid channel could risk it all.

Here are the events that could happen once you are inside that.
1. They will push you to HODL and wait for the pump to come in which could never happen.
2. They will be telling you to invest in one token which could be manipulation since they are also invested with it. Once you make a pump by buying it then they will be the ones selling.

Better let it be. If you want more profit then go with high amounts.

True. But they have stats of both so they wont be creating this kind of decision without the view of scouts.

I guess they are also looking for the balance in the 2nd team. Since it is already a small line up for the 1st five they might divide them.
Gordon could lead the 2nd team and CP3 and Harden will be on the 1st five.
7079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FIAT rewards for bounty hunters. on: July 27, 2018, 10:49:40 PM
No can do.
Where do you think they will get that money from?
They are doing ICO to raise funds and they cannot just take it out once some investor came in and buy tokens from them.

They pay their own tokens for the purpose of spreading it also. Not all bounty hunters will sell, some of them will buy more. Why? They fell in love with the project by knowing more about it thru bounty. That is one good purpose of having a bounty also.
It aint just about the money.
7080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: July 27, 2018, 08:58:14 PM
Do you have any suggestion for new poll question? I guess it's too early to talk about next champion. Let me know your ideas so I'll change the poll.
Just still the same and its not bad to make such early poll voting and i have just seen this with another guy https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4744820.0
tending out to make a new thread because this is already crowded? No its not really needed after all yet this is a main thread for NBA discussions having other similar threads arent necessary.

Yes, the same as before is my vote also.

That way gamblers also might have an idea into which they will pick to bet with.
If they want to go against it for better winnings then why not. I also want to see if there are people who are supporting other teams. For example, Hornets.
It could also be a way for others to investigate into why or how that team will have a chance for a championship. Examples are the trades and what is new with their management.

Just to add up some flavor.  Grin
