7061  Other / Meta / Re: Dear Newbies: Please don’t buy Merit! on: November 16, 2018, 09:10:46 AM
The reason such a market has come to exist is because spamming shitposters and low income country beggars have made this forum their work place and merit has been the barrier stopping them from ranking up because their posts literally have no reading value and nothing worth applauding on. They are thus a prime target for scammers.

Remember that if you are buying merit you are abusing the system and thus will receive punishment since theymos can reverse the merits sent if they wish to. Also any scammer can pose as a merit source and tell you to buy merits but these are frauds, plain scams. A real merit source would never sell their merit because they would lose the post if they are caught.
7062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A banking app helped me beat my addiction on: November 16, 2018, 09:05:58 AM
-snip-
Basically you are an addicted gambler. Grin

It does not matter if you are able to cope up and stop your addiction based on an app that stops you from wasting too much money. It works for some people and does not work for most people. If it does work for you then its good, it will help you form some social turmoil as well.

You dont want to waste your wife's money on gambling would you and then she when questions you what you did with that money you will have nowhere to go to. Its better to take it into your own hands and decide how to take care of bankroll. Sometimes just getting away from addictions is not easy but can be done if you are determined to.
7063  Other / Meta / Re: New board in altcoin? on: November 15, 2018, 09:22:52 AM
You will rarely see only altcoin based websites, when they exist, usually they are ethereum based ones which includes some kind of smart contracts which I can't understand what has to do with gambling.
Ethereum smart contracts and DApps have been a revolutionary change in the system. Lets see where they reach as their acceptance increases and token prices as well.

Coin limit can only affect business, so I have no idea why will someone reject bitcoin and accept ripple, doge and etc, it will only affect owner's profit.
Say, a developer is trying to market and popularize the certain altcoin that he/she has developed and so they open a new dice site which allows only that altcoin to be used for rolls. This is a good example of how it would not affect profit much but would help market it. Or a faucet that allows that altcoin only to be dispensed.

Quote
On another hand, this website is bitcoin based, so there are more boards for bitcoin and only a little edge is given for altcoins.
But they can still make a difference given them the time and the proper audience.
7064  Economy / Marketplace / Re: If Newbie Offers Investment on: November 15, 2018, 09:18:00 AM
We still can not judge people whether they are bad or good if we do not have strong evidence and rank does not really matter here because high rank also possibly to scam us and newbie also not always untrust but if they offering the particular investment to develop my money then first of all i will ask to them that what method they will use to do so because if it similar to ponzi or Hyip then definitely i will ignore them
I think the term newbie should be used in a more wider sense, not just as a rank on the forum but also a newcomer to cryptocurrencies as well. There are people who come to this forum to know about crypto in general may or may not be for financial reasons but for advice as well.

Of course a HYIP is a definite scam short term or long term and if someone promotes a HYIP being gullible enough to fall for it, they would be advised against it and to stop promoting the same. Being ignorant sometimes forces mistakes but that should not hinder their entry to crypto.

For newbies my advice would be to know about blockchain and its related stuff, you dont need to be a developer but know the basics and how it works before putting your money into bitcoin.
7065  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is not the end of bitcoin on: November 15, 2018, 09:11:23 AM
In my opinion the BCH forking what lead to some FUD in the community started the initial dump. This like always pushed panic selling into action. Reason being bitcoin stable for some months made some weak hands drop their coins. They possibly had bought previously this year when bitcoin was still in the buzz but sadly luck was not on their side and when the FUD hit, it hit them hard.

They started selling causing the 10% dump. This does not mean its the end, I have seen this happen every few months and people claiming it to the end only to be debunked a few months later. Good time to buy but be cautious because prices may dump even more soon.
7066  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning day trading on: November 14, 2018, 08:49:24 AM
Yes, anyone that wants to be a trader in cryptocurrency must learn the analysis.
If you are only going to play the long term hodl you wont need much of an analysis for bitcoin. Because we all know that bitcoin will rise in future since the deflationary condition of the currency makes it scare as the population demand keeps on growing. Grin

Some will say the market is unstable and they are afraid that they will lose money when they invest in it, but there are people who are able to get in and out of the market few hours a day and they are also making it despite the volatility. I heard a story of someone who didn’t even learn it and all he was doing at first was buy when it seems it’s going up and sell when it seems to go down and it worked quite alright for him till he got to be perfect.
Those are just stories mate. Rumors made to insinuate you to join some whale pool. Dont worry they are just going to make you pump their shitcoin when they will sell it. Also dont fall for loan sharks giving out info for margin trading.

Actually those who manage to make profit from short term flux are those who were holding the coins for sometime and they sold at the pump. The rest who come running after that are now in loss because its a shitcoin now and wont go up immediately.
7067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: November 14, 2018, 08:44:51 AM
I think some people are just born with a more addictive personality which causes them to get easily hooked on gambling.
The reason we have people to guide us and teach us moral values is to prevent this. People question their elders advice and think they are going to make their own rules but they soon realize when they harm themselves that they should have listened. Its the same for any habit you know. Being born with something that is bad is not bad, if you have the determination to take control.

Quote
It isn't exactly the same but alcoholics tend to follow the addiction pattern of their other family members so we shouldn't put too much blame on individuals.  Quite frankly, as long as they aren't harming other people I don't see a problem with it.
Like I said, you will not harm anybody if you are going to keep control. There will be times where people lose control and they need to cautious about it. Same with gambling. If you have control over it you wont hurt yourself or your family.
7068  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you're ~15% in the red, is it crazy to sell? on: November 14, 2018, 08:41:50 AM
I know what you mean, buddy. In my opinion it is not necessary to sit to wait for the sea weather. Just see what happens to the coin. Look at the road map, the news background, ask the developers what they are planning in the near future.
Developers never tell the inside info of their work to people are trading. You think it would be so easy to gather info other that what is already known? If you are a close relative of some developer though then you might be able to get those info but still administration of such projects are generally very strict and allow very little information to leak out.

Quote
So you will understand whether to keep it or to sell at a small loss and go to a more interesting coin. The main thing is not to sell the whole cutlet. Use a maximum of 20% of the Deposit, and better than 15% So you will be able to diversify the risk and slowly accumulate capital.
I like you style, but let me remind you that not every coin is for mid-term sell. Some of them are for long term and some for short term. You will understand this classification if you enter the market and trade yourself.
7069  Other / Meta / Re: Altcoin discussion on: November 14, 2018, 08:37:39 AM
If there were no "Altcoin Discussion", "Bitcoin Discussion" other discussions etc., this spambies will spam other boards, the best way is to report those shitposts to moderators. They (spambies) don't care for the forum they care about their post counts, even if they go overboard or off-topic in a thread.
Its takes a little bit of intellect and knowledge to post in sections like "Project Discussion" "Service Discussion", "Reputation", "Meta" which are by far the lower on spamming:quality posting ratio. These sections get low visit and get reports more often since they are not spammed too much. Because these lowlife spammers dont have a job or have any qualifications to apply for a job, they try to get into alternative methods to earning effectively making this forum their workplace. Seems like a joke its the truth.

If the altcoins sections are not taken care of by community reporting then nobody can help it.
7070  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Margin trading. Where to start? on: November 13, 2018, 08:47:02 AM
I would not suggest anybody to do margin trade unless they know the risks and have money at hand to pay the loan in case market does not turn out to the way it was supposed to be. I know several people do day trading with a margin trade strategy but its risky and would give me a headache because I would not want to lose the money that I put in.

Some people have the guts to do that because they trust their skills or they get some inside info on how market is going to perform. Still its a matter of luck and knowing about whales who manipulate markets to able to successfully do it.
7071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A banking app helped me beat my addiction on: November 13, 2018, 08:39:41 AM
Not everyone has that willpower to stop by them self and due to which we have cure therapy etc so that they can bring such addicted people out of it else and anything related to it be an app, online based some learning or techniques which will help people to have self control is extremely important.
Not having willpower is same as being dead due to addiction. I feel everyone can stop their addiction but the time taken will vary from one person to another. A rehabilitative cure might be needed for those who cannot stop gambling but most of the smaller cases can be handled with a mix of support and abstinence from internet.

In fact abstaining from internet access and phones can help a lot of the modern problems of the society. People became modern with new technology but failed to use the technology properly. Instead of relying on an app for everything they should do some self-debate and think about their actions.
7072  Other / Meta / Re: New board in altcoin? on: November 13, 2018, 08:35:02 AM
Can we have new board in altcoin for altcoin gambling sites?
Are you aware that primedice and stake are no longer bitcoin-only sites and they allow altcoins to be played? Crypto-games and Bitsler have allowed the for some time now. Till date there has been no change either by relocation or duplication of their Announcement threads than one which is already present in the "Gambling" section.

For those sites which are strictly altcoin based gambling maybe we can do with the "Service Announcements (Altcoins)" section but a separate section for Altcoin Economies would be nice.

This is a bitcoin forum so things tend to be biased that way. Grin
7073  Other / Meta / Re: Altcoin discussion on: November 13, 2018, 08:29:35 AM
This is not the first time that someone complained about this issue. Thing is we cannot stop these people by teaching them to make good posts and not shitposts. You could yourself report stuff that you feel is not worthy enough in a discussion or offtopic or a generic shitpost. That would help the moderators clean up these diarrhea threads quickly and you could have the mental satisfaction of being able to help the forum.

Its true that such discussion totally miss the point but that why the "Report to Moderator" button exists. Use it properly.
7074  Other / Meta / Re: New type of fraud on forum on: November 12, 2018, 06:58:18 PM
No, I wasn't going to look at the links hunting for members to give red trust to, but to see examples of what's happening.  Anyway it doesn't surprise me that people are doing this for what I imagine are extremely small rewards.  These members would be better off just claiming from faucets than wasting their time getting worthless tokens airdropped to them.
True, what was dust from faucets has become shittoken shitdrops.

Quote
Or am I mistaken about the value of these airdropped tokens?
Again this is a matter of debate. Most of the airdropped coins are worthless but again there have been projects like STKtoken and Viuly which on not being able to reach soft cap decided to do a airdrop of their tokens to all ethereum holders (at a certain ratio). These projects are legit and their tokens will grow in value in future (AFAIC).

Quote
Assuming you get what you signed up for, can you actually sell the tokens for a decent amount or what?  How much is the average airdrop worth?  As I said, I've never participated in one of them but I know they're extremely popular, but my understanding has always been that the tokens are essentially garbage.
However, the one collected by shitposting spammer newbies are those that would never actually grow in value. Thats technically inciting their greed to make them claim those tokens with a promise of growth in value of the coin in return of their personal information.

My unbiased answer to this topic is this : In people are not going to do their own research and put in their personal info into airdrop claiming google sheets then they are becoming a prey of their own ignorance. They dont need a babysitter to teach them that.

Hacked accounts are tag-worthy. We cant moderate all types of scams here on our own if the forum administration does not want to.
7075  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: GET 1 ETH - Simply Retweet, That's It! on: November 12, 2018, 02:06:01 PM
All I have to say to the OP is LOL.

You think you are so cheap that people are going to retweet your post for "free" by giving them a false promise of 1eth? GTFO this forum and get a life scumbag.

Either escrow the deal first or eat your own words.

Newbies who are drooling over this thread hoping to get paid, dont even think about it because you will be doing a free advertising for the OP.
7076  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 the year of correction? on: November 12, 2018, 08:58:50 AM
Let's hope it was! Lot's of miners that entered the industry on a late manner need it aswell!
Actually the miners provide a good support level below the 6k USD/BTC mark so it wont drop below that unless some huge whales decides to dump their coins on the open market and make it crash. They are not fools, they would rather sell at profit and not loss. Again this year showed some green in the 1st quarter but then it gradually dumped down to a sleepy mode and has not been rising again after that.

Hodl amd wait is the key. Probably many crypto enthusiasts have failed their expectations but then we should continue believing to crypto currency. We can say that this is not that good year but there is still December before year ends. Just hodl and wait.
Thats all you can do right? Nobody has anything else to do other than hold. We must not forget the bad days for bitcoin are not new. These did happen previously as well for some years if you look at the price charts on coinmarketcap..
7077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On what kind of gambling you got maximum reward from betting? on: November 12, 2018, 08:54:07 AM
So far my biggest multiplier hit is on sports betting parlay, if Im not mistaken I won around 35x my bet that time but I lost so much before hitting it. On my I only did 10x multiplier, nothing higher on that. I dont rely so much on luck based games  Smiley
Parleys do end up giving you a high multiplier but can also drown you down if your bets dont end up being wins. If you do manage to get most of the bets green then you will get a huge profit. Still the multiplier of dice games will be higher than that. You can simply do a 9900x on a dice game with a single click.

So here comes the question of whether you are able to get the biggest multipliers easily or with effort. Not thinking about the outcome it is definitely the dice game where you can set the slider to hit 9900x and not sports betting. Again we are not thinking of the outcome - outcome is different from that you are applying as setting.
7078  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading platforms are growing but what about investors ? on: November 12, 2018, 08:49:55 AM
Exchanges are rising like mushrooms but the market volume is decreasing this year.
You would not want to trust those exchanges would you? New sites pop up everyday without proper teams and track records. ICOs end up listing coins there as well. Some people may be dump enough to get involved with a scam site and deposit funds there. So better do your own research before doing so.

Quote
Competition between  exchanges is good, and not all of them will be successful.
Competition brings in constructive criticism. It is a good thing provided its done in a healthy manner.

Quote
Exchanges are very profitable. That could be the reason for so many of them on the market.
Do you own an exchange that you are making such a comment?

Quote
For example Binance has higher profit than Deutsche Bank with 100k  employees.
Do you have any idea how much binance listing fees are? Know that before you comment.
7079  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What do you do with your airdrop leads? on: November 12, 2018, 08:43:02 AM
Yes, I do agree that those personal details provided to these airdrops may be fake and users may not even check their emails they receive in those accounts so if someone buying those details for marketing their product may not be worth.

Its not fake per se. Those are users but the number of false results from it are much more. There may be genuine users who are new to crypto and want to get their hands on some new coin and so they had joined the airdrop. Many of the newbies here have been airdrop hunters for sometime hunting shittokens and we also have airdrop listing sites where they get listed.

Some of the ICOs turned to airdrops good example are STKtoken and Viuly when they were having problems reaching softcaps. Still most of thee database is alts and thus they need some method of weeding out these shitposters before starting a social campaign.
7080  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning day trading on: November 11, 2018, 09:37:40 AM
I get my experience by doing with my own analysis and sometime learning from group telegram that i joined and from internet because there are many resource we can found i. And i always make some notes from my trading. So we can learning with many ways
I would suggest you to stay away from telegram pump and dump groups. They are mostly done by people who are trying to move the market in one direction so they would move it in the opposite direction. They will tell you that a massive pump is coming for such a coin and persuade you to buy that coin while they will actually wait for this "fake signal" to pump when the owners of that channel will actually dump their coins.

You will now be holding some shitload of a shitcoin. Stay away from those.
