7061  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy restart big Boom and prosperity Coming on: August 07, 2020, 08:40:34 PM
The big economy Boom and Prosperity Coming.
There will be a lot new Capital in world.
Right now in australia There is crisis... But soon it will be over coz australia will Give out huge loans like USA and uk did.
We will see all Around the World that Kind of economy booming that we never seen Before!!

I don't see it coming, everyone is suffering because of this pandemic, and I doubt that this so called stimulus package will be the catalyst for an economic boom, on the contrary as others have said, it will just make it worse.

If you Don't get Rich now you will stay poor all your life!!
And cryptocurrency boggest bull run will go Wild

Right, but how can you get rich from the money coming from the government? There are no money for everyone, and it will just make the case for for the separation between the rich and the poor. And in this pandemic, it's either you become super rich by taking advantage of the situation or if your business leans toward those things that are necessary for survival or you become "special poor".
7062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 07, 2020, 08:12:26 PM
What will it take for people to distance scams from Bitcoin itself? Thoughts? Huh

Even prior to the twitter hack, bitcoin has been called with so many names, like scams, ponzi schemes, being used by criminals (drug lords, terrorists) etc. And yet it still survived, get to a new all time high in 2017, suffers a long bearish trend, bounce back. In short it is very resilient and it's already proven that no matter what negativity they thrown, it doesn't have long term impact. So regardless if we have a twitter hack in the name of bitcoin, I don't see it's reputation being harm in the mainstream much worst than the media attacks back on 2016-2017.

7064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gervonta Davis vs Leo Santa Cruz on: August 06, 2020, 08:27:21 PM
Just a short update on this fight:

Quote
“This is the biggest fight of my career. It is the fight I always wanted and my first pay per view that I headline. So, I am really, excited,” Leo Santa Cruz told Fightnews.com®. “I am motivated and training hard for this fight. No one gives me a shot, but I am going to shock the world.”

“I was active during quarantine. I stopped for about a month because my dad got the virus. He wasn’t doing well but he’s good now,” Santa Cruz stated. “I’m back in camp now the preparation is going well we started last week as we start to train more, and we will be stepping it up. I will do everything that way I come well prepared for the fight,”

https://fightnews.com/leo-santa-cruz-begins-preparation-for-tank-davis/79851

So he is really motivated and focused on this fight against Davis. I'm not saying that no one is giving him a shot, but his chances are very slim. For sure Davis wanted to bounce back from his poor performance against an old Gamboa. So it's a battle of grit, but I'm still backing Davis to win this fight.
7065  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Ripple (XRP) Wallet Discussion on: August 06, 2020, 08:16:42 PM

7066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 51% Attack Against Blockchain of Ethereum Classic (ETC) on: August 06, 2020, 07:30:08 PM
2nd time in a row, when will they learn to secure their network? I agree with @bitmover, they should go to PoS, otherwise they will again be targeted by these hackers. This is not the first time they've been hack, but twice in a week? really doesn't look good. Early 2019 there was also a similar attack if I'm not mistaken, executing a double spend on their network. I do hope it will not case any waves of panic right now as we are in this sort of bull-run.
7067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger App Isolation Bypass Vulnerabilities on: August 06, 2020, 07:04:23 PM
do not connect to just any 3rd party application and try to keep your ledger with BTC seperate from shitcoins.

I was thinking about how this vulnerability could be exploited, and that's  exactly the case

If you connect your ledge in a third party malicous software, they could steal your btc.
That's kind of serious vulnerability, sadly ledger didn't handle it well..

This one, we really don't know if they ignore monokh or just totally forgot about it. And know if is out in the crypto social media and it seems too late again reacting. Making them look very bad again.
7068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: August 06, 2020, 06:32:48 PM
And this is what Lopez says in respond to his haters:

Quote
Teofimo Lopez
@TeofimoLopez
The fight is going to happen. Stuff like this sometimes takes a little longer to happen and that’s why it’s called “negotiating” for a reason. Dumb asses!

https://twitter.com/TeofimoLopez/status/1291089928693088256

LOL, his probably trying to be a 'hard to get' attitude, but sooner or later he will succumb to the pressures and I doubt that he can even get a 60-40 split here.

Lopez doesn't have the bargaining power in the table, he and his team should understand that. For sure, when they announce the fight, they have at least some verbal agreement already and that only their signatures are needed before they officially announce it. So I don't believed that there are negotiations happening. He is just delaying it and will not get the money that he wanted in my opinion.
7069  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Ripple (XRP) Wallet Discussion on: August 06, 2020, 01:50:11 AM

7071  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has hit ATH against Turkish Lira on: August 05, 2020, 11:59:29 PM
Bitcoin hit all time high against Brazilian Real BRL as well , a few months ago.

But this is more due to fiat devaluation than to bitcoin valuation,  as bitcoin would still need about 70-80 % more to reach it's all time high against dolar.

Bitcoin was a very good hedge in this pandemic crisis for developing countries,  which fiats suffered a lot.

Yes, as national fiat currency collapses, more wise investors are going to shift to bitcoin to hedge their wealth. I think a good test case is Venezuela it's been years now since bitcoin has been hitting ATH there and it seems that Turkey are going on the same way today. Doesn't sound good in the country though, and I do hope that they can bounce back and not go deep like Venezuela.
7072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia IBF & WBC Welterweight Title on: August 05, 2020, 11:33:56 PM
For those who question how Errol Spence have recovered since the accident. I urge you to watch this interview, his first after the crash and decide how fit the guy is,

https://twitter.com/PBConFOX/status/1208578180770086912

He also answers your concern as why he picked Danny Garcia for his comeback.

Remember that this interview is prior to the pandemic.
7073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / 4 US Congressman wrote to IRS to ease tax on POS rewards on: August 05, 2020, 11:06:35 PM

Here is the complete letter they sent to Commissioner Rettig.

https://schweikert.house.gov/sites/schweikert.house.gov/files/Final%20Proof%20of%20Stake%20IRS%20Letter%207.29.20.pdf

Will this encourage more investors to get on-board if the IRS will somewhat heed this call?
7074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: International Group of Finance Leaders says "Ripple’s XRP Network Leapfrogs Lega on: August 05, 2020, 10:42:30 PM
Obviously, as we have suspected when XRP was released that it was really a bankers coin, and now look at how those group of finance leaders are shilling for it. LMAO, so no surprised here, that's how XRP as build anyways, how it is design and we all knew this from the very beginning. But looking back, it's all good for crypto, in a hindsight many financial systems did look for blockchain technology to help them, so I would say it has some impact to the technology itself, but not in crypto market in general.
7075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [experience]; In one family all professional gamblers. on: August 02, 2020, 11:00:08 PM
I think this is not new, in other professions you can find similarities. Just like family of doctors or nurses, aunts, uncles, cousins, everyone is involved in this professions because that how they are "build" so to speak. I know a lot of gamblers, family of gamblers that has been involved, from the parents to the sons and daughters. And I think this is what we call influence as they move on the same circles. In this forum though, we don't know the identifies of everyone and I doubt that someone will come out to tell that he is related to this and that user. It is good? well it depends, just like I said, if that is what the father brings food to the table, then it is. I think sooner or later your family will find that you are gambler, so it really up to you to tell them face to face or let them know until it's too late.
7076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trillion-dollar financial group calls Bitcoin an "ambitious store of value" on: August 02, 2020, 10:26:48 PM
bitcoin price speculation is a bit hard as we know the market is very volatile. even the TA's sometimes they are wrong or far from their analysis.. price will depend on the demand of the coin

Majority of TA are wrong, it is not an exact science, it's just wild and educated guesses.

Bitcoin is an "ambitious store of value" - really seems that the author is ignorant on what bitcoin can really bring to the people. They are really trying to spin everything, Lol, "ambitious", it is a speculative asset for all we know and has been treated as such that's why there are this so called "hodlers".

Bitcoin is an "insurance policy" - there's no such thing as insurance here, as one of the best speculative assets, it will be really volatile and you can't be sure of the price movement and no one can predict the price accurately.

7077  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Thailand issues licenses for 13 digital currency service providers on: August 02, 2020, 10:01:49 PM
I agree that this is very good news for our neighbours from Thailand because they are very active as far as giving licenses in the last couple of years. And as far as I know they have their home grown exchanges and then some being subsidies of bigger exchanges coming from Japan. And this latest news will send green lights for companies to tap Thailand markets specially with regards to blockchain technology as well. Good strategy.
7078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Angelo Leo vs. Tramaine Williams WBO Junior Featherweight title Fight on: August 02, 2020, 02:03:49 PM
@Baofeng thanks once again for your brilliant insights of the boxers as it adds a few more dollars into my crypto holdings lol.

Congratulations to those who tailed Baofeng's bet.

No, I should be the one thanking you bro:

You made me easy money here, Lol.  Smiley

Until the next boxing match, hope we can find good and very attractive odds again.

Better odds on Nitrogen though.  Smiley
7079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin prices are POPPING!! C'mon whales and market-makers, jack the prices!!! on: August 01, 2020, 10:52:33 PM
Be careful what you wishing for, maybe someone will message you to shill for their favourite coin and you will be trapped. As for this supposedly market makers that you are referring to, I doubt that they will listen. They have their own strategy and it doesn't make sense for them to push the price collectively. This is how the market moves when we are in a bull run. You just have to be patience and keep HODLing those coins. And this might not be a real bull run, wait till the price of bitcoin reaches another all time high because for sure, most altcoins will also move with it.
7080  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Putin signed a law on the regulation of cryptocurrencies from 2021 on: August 01, 2020, 10:31:55 PM
We all know that they have a hard line stance against crypto, I'm expecting this signing and implementation much earlier.

the fact that crypto can't be used to pay for goods and services is certainly a bummer, but i don't see the news affecting the market (domestic or otherwise) and it also probably won't be enforced.

This one. If you can't used our bitcoin to pay for good and services and be treated as money then for me this is anti-crypto, half baked ass regulations coming from them. But it is nice that market as a whole has somewhat evolved or grow as a whole because it didn't put any dent and on the contrary the price continue to soar after the news comes out.
