Black Arrow is a scam company that's currently defrauding it's customers for millions of dollars and thousands of BTC.
Proof? Just look at their website, they're selling batch 2 X-3 units with a stated shipping date of 15 May 2014. It's currently the 17th and not a single batch 1 order has shipped. They sold pre-orders for 24 Feb 2014 dispatch until 29 Jan 2014. It takes 2+ months after tape-out to have the ASICs forged and packaged. Undeniable proof that they lied to get customers money. This is fraud over $5000, an indictable offence. EDIT: Seems I've jumped the gun a bit here... I checked the web history for Black Arrow's site and it looks like they sold batch 1 orders for 24 Feb 2014 shipping until 01 Jan 2014. This however still does not leave enough time for tapeout, forging and packaging of the ASICs not mention actually building and debugging the miners within the less than 2 month timeframe between 01 Jan and 24 Feb. 24 February 2014 shipping was a lie and it cost Black Arrow customers millions of dollars.

Groupthink IQ is only about 85. I'm sure this group is doing the best they can in regards to their research efforts.

It's passed mid-May and Black Arrow is no longer providing any shipping date. It looks like all the miners are going into their ASIC farm and all the BTC into their wallets.
These guys are committing fraud.

There's no shipping date for BA to miss now that "a few days" have passed and no new dispatch date has been provided.
The reason that no date is being given is that BA is defrauding it's customers and keeping the miners until they are worthless. Why do you think no x-1's are being produced? All the x-3's are going into their ASIC farm and all the BTC is going into their wallets.
Once the difficulty level makes the miners worthless there's a very small chance customers will have the units shipped to them. This way BA can claim they honored their end of the deal.

BA's technical/engineering abilities to produce a quality product have never been in question. The ASICs are clearly a reality and probably the best ones out there.
The issue is that these cock-suckers used our money to finance the whole project and are now building a massive ASIC farm and telling us to go fuck ourselves while they prepare to rake in hundreds of millions of dollars in BTC.

So tell us Matt, how long before you file fraud charges on your multi-million dollar order? June, July, August?

The Pagani Huayra is over the top, you're dreaming. That being said Porsche is the down-to-earth choice.

Yes, but that is Germany. Nothing to do with China so I'd give it up if I were you.
We all just need to wait now. The machines will come and soon I hope but lets face it, there is nothing we can do now. It's too late in the game to get refund from them so just get ready for the shipping notification.
FYI just because the Germans use fancy terminology doesn't mean it's not also fraud in every other country as well.

I am trying to understand why BA are still doing procurement of non ASiC related components (cases, LCD etc) several months after the promised ship date of Feb 24 th. Can someone enlighten me, did I miss something important?
Maybe this: In Germany it is a crime, what Black Arrow does. It is called "Vorschussbetrug" oder "Vorkassebetrug". http://www.dict.cc/deutsch-englisch/Vorkassebetrug.html ( advance fee fraud) "[if the default (failure to preform in due time) is due to intent or gross negligence]" It takes two months to forge and package an ASIC and BA took orders for 24 Feb 2014 dispatch until 29 Jan 2014. It's beyond a reasonable doubt that the default is due to intent.

You should have your lawyers provide a BTC address so I can give them a tip as I'm sure you're going to be paying them a little as possible. I'd like to help everybody who has to do business with you guys.
This is a joke BTW.

The clock ticketh on, and yet no refund from minersource, still.
As was stated, the information is nice, we can see it slowly coming together and materializing, it seems closer now than ever, but now the time frame is lining up and people are realizing they won't be seeing this until, drum roll:
First week in June!
I guess being a month off the second date isn't that bad compared to what has happened with others.
The cost of that power supply shipping though, ouch, i really hope they come up with a solution so their customers aren't screwed into making another 110 dollar purchase from them..
I want my refund though!
I highly doubt that early June is the last stop for the delay train. When the power cost of running all those x-3s is greater than the revenue they generate I'm sure they'll be shipping them ASAP.

Put some Bitcoins in a wallet, extract the secret key and write it on a piece of paper (tip: fold the paper to keep the key secret). You now have the ability to make an off-blockchain transaction with that piece of paper.
