7081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A quick reminder from Eric Adams, mayor of the City of New York. on: January 08, 2022, 05:31:44 PM
to answer a question posed in another topic between two people
@Wiwo, why are you opening a new thread when we already have a topic that deals with the same thing?

A quick reminder from Eric Adams, mayor of the City of New York.

Furthermore, do you think NY will become a bit more Bitcoin-friendly just because the mayor will allegedly receive his salary in BTC and then turn it into fiat? Unless you think that with the same BTC he will be able to buy bread, milk, or pay for parking...

the answer is not "just because the mayor will allegedly receive his salary in BTC"

the answer is in his tweet he said "when I become mayor NYC is going to be the center of the cryptocurrency industry"

I locked the other topic when I discovered this thread exists, the main point is now that Eric is now the mayor of New York is will be an advantage to Bitcoin adoption in that region, and Eric desire to make new York a crypto-friendly can now be actualized since he is now the Mayor, take El Salvador for instance, their Bitcoin adoption is mostly driven by the motivation of the president on Bitcoin.
7082  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Teachers deserve more on: January 08, 2022, 04:33:14 PM
In this sense it is up to say that teachers should be well rewarded if we need the best from them, no teacher has no development as the case may be.
There is a popular saying that, the reward of a teacher is in heaven.
That is to say, the reward that is due for a teacher can not be paid with money or material things rather only the Almighty creator of humanity can reward a teacher. But on the contrary opinion on rating teachers next to God.
7083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin upgraded my financial life on: January 08, 2022, 04:21:48 PM
yes, I have no doubt that bitcoin has given a lot of financial freedom to people who actually invest and trade in it. this is the same with me, a few months ago i have also withdrawn profit from bitcoin. and it fulfills all my needs i bought from trading results and very satisfied.

I'm happy to hear that I hope I will be like you too someday, because I'm too late to get information about this bitcoin, with the current price it's a bit difficult for me to get bitcoin. but I've invested some coins, I'm trying to buy new coins that tend to be cheap, hoping one day I will get a profit.
There are so many aspects and opportunities with Bitcoin and if you take your time to develop a skill in any of its activities you stand to gain a lot from Bitcoin, take trading as you rightly said for example. If one develops good trading skills it can help you make profiting trading decisions. Bitcoin has given us the financial freedom and opportunities that abide in the cryptocurrency space.
7084  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Not too late to meet up on: January 08, 2022, 01:43:04 PM
It's true I agree with you earlier this year it's never too late for you to invest. there are many opportunities ahead, the failures in previous years will be practice and learning so that you are better prepared and better this year. Stay optimistic that everything will pay off for the hard work you have done. Everything needs a process, but the process from one person to another is indeed different, some are fast and some are slow. You have to be more patient if you have fallen many times and suffered losses. Many are still surviving to this day to be one of them.
You are right what every adventure one wants to undertake requires efforts and dedication to the cause, those who may nurse the feeling of losing out in the past can use that as a lesson and areas to advance and develop for a better future, for one to be outstanding in anything one needs to build a good knowledge and skills, those buying bitcoin at it present all-time high will still be called lucky ones in the next 10 years from now.

7086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEW YORK THE NEXT BITCOIN CITY on: January 08, 2022, 11:45:37 AM
Eric Adams being the 110th Mayor of the United Kingdom, who also was a state senator is a man of the people. He is known for making drastic decisions and standing by them.
His interest in Bitcoin is a big plus Bitcoin. His statement about buying the dip I think is a reason Bitcoin will find a base soon.

For his announcement of New York City as the new center of bitcoin and Blockchain development is something that should be more real or practical than said.
As political as this statement is viewed, one basic thing Eric stated clearly was his desire to make positive moves as regard Bitcoin, his desire to take advantage of bitcoin's volatile nature is one thing and the second is his will to get a salary in Bitcoin. His desire to make New York blockchain heaven now that Eric is now the mayor is another institutional future adoption of Bitcoin and the rest of other cryptocurrencies.
7087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / NEW YORK THE NEXT BITCOIN CITY on: January 08, 2022, 08:50:41 AM
As Bitcoin adoption maintained a fast momentum since 2021 when El  Salvador 🇸🇻 declared Bitcoin as an official currency in that country and the country huge investment in Bitcoin and its related development.
The new year 2022 is coming with another big news of the Mayor of New York  🗽 Eric Adams receiving his 3 monthly salaries in Bitcoin and also the announcement of New York City as the new center of Bitcoin and blockchain development.
This news is coming as institutions and individuals develop an interest in Bitcoin and its mainstream relevance.

7089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple makes a $1 price bull set for 2022 on: January 07, 2022, 08:07:37 PM
As the entire market is in the recovery mode but a slow stage, Ripple one of the most active coins in the last couple of weeks back has made it to All-time high of $1, coin telegraph made the revelation on the news platform this afternoon.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-flatlines-as-xrp-hits-1-with-massive-altcoin-move-set-for-2022

To be very honest $1 is not a bull price for ripple. If there are no issues with the SEC, I am sure that Ripple will reach much higher and 1$ is not a fair price for this coin. The use case of ripple is very huge and it can play a significant role in the defi environment as a cryptocurrency for the banking sector.

You should have some portion of your portfolio allocated to XRP. We will see a big massive rally in this coin in 2022. All other coins had their rally in 2021 but XRP is still waiting for its turn.
With the current market price of $0.76 I think $1 will be a big bull to ripple market, 2022 have been predicted to be the stable coins year but the truth is it is always a big deal for the stable coin to ride above $1 as the SEC have a big influence over the market and constantly pushing to keep its price within a stable amount.

7091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin celebrate 13th year birthday with new all time high harsh rate on: January 07, 2022, 09:19:49 AM
Celebrating bitcoin at his 13th anniversary is a wonderful experience.  It is just 13 year but has cause so many benefits to lot of people around the world. All throughout bitcoin from it beginning up till this time bitcoin has experienced so many challenges, despite all challenges from the government,  bitcoin still growing bigger.
Yes, a lot of work needs to be done in the bitcoin network as the mainstream adoption increased the need for the flexibility in the Bitcoin blockchain need to improve to meet the required standard for mainstream usage, bitcoin in the last 13 years have constantly increased in value and market dominance but the scalability of the Bitcoin blockchain is still a bone of contention.
7092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor and bitcoin on: January 06, 2022, 12:23:12 PM
Michael Saylor has always been an advocate of Bitcoin before the covid-19 outbreak that forced social distance on the world and in the interview...

Again, you are wrong, because it is not true that Saylor has always been pro-Bitcoin, quite the opposite.

Source

Furthermore, it should be clear to everyone by now that Saylor, whose company has over 120 000 BTC, must be 100% positive about Bitcoin because his job and future depend on it. Does this mean that man is no longer objective to see the situation realistically? In a way, this is certainly the case, and this should be taken into account when it comes to his thinking.

I don't mind what a man does with his money or his company's money, and if someone wants to copy that moves, it's his business. I also prefer Bitcoin over fiat, but I have no influence over others to do so, nor would I want to be responsible for someone’s financial security.
As Ironically, as it may sound Michael Saylor, have Also been responsible for speeches that have pushed the Bitcoin market from $7k to $28k some time back, one may view Micheal way of approach to Bitcoin in public as an anti-Bitcoin but again his action and that of his company micro strategy as that of Bitcoin enthusiasts as he holds quite a big numbers of Bitcoin.

Recently, I have been seeing many videos of Michael Saylor[1][2][3] speaking positively about Bitcoin and giving a lot of optimistic analyzes.

So for someone who is a newbie, would you recommend that I send him Michael's videos to explain the economic side of Bitcoin or convince him to invest or will it lead to over-optimism that might end up with my friend losing some money?

In short, the topic talks about Michael's recent analyzes/tweets and how serious it is taken for the average joe.

Michael Saylor has always been an advocate of Bitcoin before the covid-19 outbreak that forced social distance on the world and in the interview, Michael Saylor talks about the shifting of activities from the physical world to the virtual world, which the web 3 metaverse is all about the virtualization of all human activities which Bitcoin and the blockchain is a key component of that development.
I guess this is suitable for newbies' consumption but depends on the newbie's ability to comprehend the information.
7095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin 13.4% Drop As Result of KAZAKH Government Resigns. on: January 06, 2022, 09:11:05 AM
Lots of analyses have been going on the entire cryptocurrency space because of the sharp drop in the bitcoin market capitalization price and what may have resulted in that what make it more obvious was the fact that the bitcoin hash rate also dropped rapidly, where about 222 million dollars melted from the market within 24 hours.
Not until the news of the resignation of the government of KAZAKHSTAN  broke out about 20 hours ago, well if you most know Kazakh is the second biggest country in bitcoin mining and the government unrest have led to the shooting down of internet service in the country leading to a 13.4% drop in the market since all mining farm within the country have shut down in the last 24 hours and this has greatly impacted the entire blockchain mining sector which is the engine room for all bitcoin activities.

7096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin upgraded my financial life on: January 05, 2022, 05:25:12 PM
Yes of course Bitcoin has improved my life a lot. If it weren't for cryptocurrency, my life would be a lot harder today.Having this cryptocurrency, I am doing much better inshaAllah. I have been working on Bitcoin for about four to five years I have made a lot of profit from here. I do not currently have a job. I am running this big query and running all the expenses including me and my family. But I want to do something better in the future from here.
Even myself had sustained my life for 5 years on just doing crypto jobs and able to earn according to my skills but i do make out some other investment in crypto too on which i could really get other various source of income and made out other real life businesses as well.

It might not really be big but at least i do have something to get whenever this crypto market would go against me or would totally lost out those jobs that i do currently have.

Nothing is assured thats why its just sensible that you would do make out proper plans and backups because anything could happen.
Preparing ahead and diversifying your sources of income will help you flow in whatever season and since life is full of uncertain occurrences the best thing to do is to increase your knowledge and most especially as the cryptocurrency is new industry learning skills in that area will guarantee big profits, but above all, it takes high risk.

7098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin mistake In 2020-2021 on: January 05, 2022, 12:35:41 PM
is it a mistake? I feel you are too focused on higher things to forget about your gains.
that's a good thing I guess and that's not a mistake.
you just have to make the momentum again and now it looks like the momentum is good and you must be able to take advantage of this momentum so that you don't regret it like now.
Anyway as you rightly said it might not be a mistake but when you fail to meet a target within the set time is the number of mistakes, there was something that was not done right, and discovering that thing and learning lessons from previous mistakes will save the future a whole lot.

Those still wearing both Bitvest and 777coins signatures are just doing so as a sign of support to the campaign as the manager CB has announced that the campaign is paused for now until LightLord deposits escrow funds for the campaign payments that is the latest development as regards the campaign, and up til now, the funds have not been escrow to the manager wallet.
