7081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1 btc to 25 btc till' end of year on: September 17, 2018, 08:19:38 AM
I'm not technically good with trading but that can be the way to grow 1 btc into 25 btc.

But I can do that if there's no time limit until the end of the year. I'll probably put that with various investments that can potentially grow but I think having 1 btc and sustaining it to make 25 btc is possible but coming from you, it's difficult.
7082  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Invest in Crypto or Na? on: September 17, 2018, 07:12:37 AM
  • You don't invest in fiat currency, its a normal currency where we are using to our daily lives. The place where you put it can be an investment or not and that's how you can start calling it as an investment. It's your choice if you are in to crypto's now.
  • Crypto market usually recovers after the dip so you don't have to be thinking of it. Experience on how things are doing on crypto's so you can have your own analysis and create your own investing strategy.

To be fair, you can 'invest' in fiat currency.  You simply obtain it and hold it as an investment.  This could be in cash form, or what is more often thought of as investment would be forex transactions where you hold other nation's currencies.  I'm an American, for example, but I hedge fluctuation by holding other currencies, such as the renminbi.
Yes being specific you can invest in fiat currency through forex but holding the currency alone and just like how we are doing with crypto's, it won't work as the same as fiat.

As I've said, if you put into something such as forex, you can call it as an investment but holding it as your local currency and hoping the time will come inflation would decrease which will make the value of that fiat higher is unlikely.
7083  Economy / Speculation / Re: How is future looking for Bitcoin in 2019? on: September 17, 2018, 01:45:19 AM
I could see that you are very supportive for Bitcoins. We are all trying to be optimistic. Thanks for helping!
Everyone should be optimistic though the market has been on the bear market until now.

You have to encourage and be optimistic, if you will be like those people who are very skeptic and their pessmistic ideas are coming in you won't grow and you're no longer interested on the future of bitcoin. But we have the same goals here and that is to see the great price of bitcoin.

$30,000 - $50,000 is ideal for 2019.

But I think being blindly optimistic is also setting yourself up for disappointment. What if bitcoin never gets to those highs again. Sure, we all want bitcoin to be worth $20-50k, but that's just wishful thinking. Realistically is that going to happen? Probably not. Call me skeptical or pessimistic if you want but I'd rather be realistic about things than just baselessly speculating on these magic multiple tens of thousands of dollar numbers.
I won't call you skeptic because what you are saying has points and I do respect it. Those pessimistic and skeptic people that I've been calling were the ones that doesn't really see any movement and keeps on saying that bitcoin is nowhere to go.

We can't see a window to those prices for now but if that will happen someday again that's great but if it won't, still its okay.
7084  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to know a non-fraud project? on: September 17, 2018, 12:51:14 AM
Find some information about the project before you get involved.
Basically you'll find those information about that project won't be connected to any scam. It's not enough to know if the project is fraud unless someone will figure out who are the people behind that project.

The scheme's always has to do if the project is fraud. Majority of the ways of finding if the project is fraud were given here. They usually have the same scheme but sometimes they are making themselves looks legit but at the end of their ICO and sale they'll run.
7085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum on the path to recovery? on: September 14, 2018, 10:02:39 PM
I think its now going to recover.

All coins that have been into major dips are now bound to recovery but it has to be seen with bitcoin's signal first.

7088  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you manage to get more followers on Twitter? on: September 14, 2018, 11:06:52 AM
I don't use twitter but I saw before that there are posts there about following each other. It's like follow me - follow you back in return and that's how they are increasing their followers.

Someone also started a campaign that whoever follows him, they will be paid so that's a paid to follow campaign. But the most natural one is to have conversation and sharing of valuable info's on twitter world.
7089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your top 3 Altcoins to SHORT? on: September 14, 2018, 10:36:25 AM
Doge has been one to of the best to short when it happen to pump.

You can short any top coins. ETH is the best one.
Agree on this one, ETH has dropped a lot and this is one of the best as well as of the moment. You can also buy it if you are going to go for long term instead of shorting it.

Bitcoin Diamond and Bitcoin Dark pumped as well but I'm not interested with those forks.
short altcoin in my opinion, x, achain, crypterium,
is perfect for you if you want short trade and short investment
X? is there an altcoin that has an abbreviation with X? I don't have any idea with those altcoins that you mentioned and I don't hold any of them. Look, if you are going to short for ETH and you bought the dip you can do it today.

Very interesting!

Any reasons why x, achain, crypterium make good shorts here?
I'm not sure with it but he has to answer why its a good coin to short but I'm thinking if there's really a coin that has an abbreviation of "X".

7091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can blockchain replace bank? on: September 12, 2018, 01:20:50 AM
I'll replace your question and I guess its better if you'll ask this "Will the banks use blockchain technology?"

I doubt it that the banks will be gone in the future though we got crypto, we can fully ignore the banking system and stick to crypto's as no need for an application to open a bank account, no requirements needed and no more waiting days of creating our own bank accounts. Our wallets are already our bank accounts.

There's also a tendency that the bank will join this crypto revolution as they have no choice to compete against it.

Nice one sir, thanks Grin Grin
Welcome but don't call me sir. Smiley

I've told this yesterday to someone on the Beginners and Help section I just don't feel to be addressed that way.  Smiley

Most likely banks need to apply blockchain technology, but it seems to me that they are unlikely to go for this!
They will and they are starting.

Hi Lee welcome to the forums!

I guess you have learned from the past months by spending your everyday with chart analysis and learning from those trade articles. The forum has Trading Discussion but I seldom read there since its been topped by repetitive questions and threads.

7093  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening with cryptocurrency ?? on: September 12, 2018, 12:25:56 AM
That's the solution and answer to your questions, you have relax with your family for now and don't think about what's happening currently with the market.

Altcoin markets are slaves of bitcoin so if it goes down then they have to follow the king.
it seems like that. Cry  when the king went to go down, so his followers also followed the king. I hope this is only temporary and not too long below. hoping that the altcoin market situation will soon improve. thank's jossiel.
It's temporary and bitcoin is still up since last year except the December all time high's.

The market will be stabilizing soon and while you can take the market emotionally, don't be so down and worried with it. Crypto has been established for few years and though there are bad speculations don't listen to them and just have your vacay.

7095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaining or Losing ??? on: September 11, 2018, 12:12:07 PM
Losing is partially gaining if you learn from the wrong strategies and deeds you do you can change them instantly and create a better future for yourself.
Very well said and that can't be considered anymore as a lose if we learned something from that.

I usually keep those lessons that I'm learning from my past losses and I'm not that type of person that keeps on murmuring if failure comes to me. Since the time I started with crypto's and up to now I only see positive things although the market's affecting sometime my emotion yet its still giving me a lot of gains.

7097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what qualities does a coin need to survive this bear? on: September 11, 2018, 10:00:07 AM
No qualities even the best coins they say are even depending on its community. When there's no community that supports that coin it won't survive at all.

Low market cap, no/low volume trade shows that coin won't survive unless there's a huge news that will come to save it that will encourage its community to have and gain something. Doge has been popular as a memecoin and the community loves it so that's how its surviving until now even there's no more lead dev.
7098  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big pop up again on: September 11, 2018, 09:00:31 AM
The steady, lazy and low bitcoin price movement can tell us all that the bearish market is not yet over.
It's not yet over though bitcoin dominance is increasing. The last time I saw it was only around 53% now its up by 56% and is still increasing.

It sometimes frustrates me to see how long the market has been into this trend that is why i just want to stay away from the market or listening to someone else's predictions.
Better to stay away for awhile and get back again if there's something interesting and a sign that bull's coming and the bear's out.
7099  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: making bitcoin the main job !!?? on: September 11, 2018, 08:24:00 AM
You have to understand what bitcoin really is. It's not a type of job but its a the "crypto"currency that you will receive once you did a job well done.

Bitcoin can still be considered as the main job for those who are really passionate and knowledgeable about bitcoin.
Trading can be a main job but again as I've said, you have to understand what bitcoin is and that's not a job. It's a medium of payment which can eventually turn into an investment.

yes sir, I received his advice and did not make bitcoin hunter bounty as the main income.
Don't call me sir, we're all equal here.

I see that the bitcoin job you are talking of are about these bounties and becoming a bounty hunter. Don't be so dependent on it, I'm not discouraging you but that's not really a job that you can go full time.

hahahaha because you are more expert then i respect you because you help a lot of new people in this bitcoin world.

Thank you for your advice, I will try the point of view that you mean that this is not the right thing to be a main job, I at least look for a more decent job than being a bounty hunter
I'm not an expert as well, I'm just sharing things that I've learned when I'm also on the same place as yours and there better people to be called as expert because their knowledge is farther than mine in bitcoin/cryptocurrencies.

Having your real job is better than to fully rely with those bounties, if you ever read the complains of bounty hunters on the Altcoin discussions you'll have an idea on why I'm saying this.
