7101  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: May 30, 2020, 06:56:10 PM
Thank you for the informative post.

I was under the impression total losses as a result of the alleged hack stood at around 10% of total crypto held at the time. I thought if they had possession of 90% of the crypto balances in USD$ volume available to trade it would have been an option to carry on business-as-usual just in order to remove the uncertainty of what a liquidator would have brought. I was not aware of New Zealand law.

I just cannot understand why the owners of Cryptopia decided to bring in the administrators/liquidators so soon after the alleged hack.

If just 10% of the total coins were allegedly stolen then the loss was not an insurmountable figure, they should easily have been able to recoup the losses via their profits generated from transaction and listing fees.

There was always something from the word go that just did not sound correct as soon as the stories about an alleged hack occurred.

Because under NZ law it is illegal to knowingly trade while insolvent.
The clients had left the exchange after a month of police investigation. There was no volume to trade out of the situation.
They had no choice but to call in the liquidators.

The liquidators have applied to the courts for further guidance on distribution.

7102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: May 30, 2020, 12:05:06 PM
I stopped believing the propaganda that the Pundi X team were spouting a long time ago. They took a perfectly good project with immense potential and turned it in to a disaster by having multiple products which were not necessary at that point of time because their flagship product for the XPOS devices had never reached its full potential. What a waste of time, effort and money.

The Pundi X team should lower their heads in shame even though pocketed phenomenal amounts of money from the ICO and token swaps whereas investors (both long and short term) mostly ended up losing out. This 1 sats token will be de-listed from Binance soon and then will meets its eventual collapse when it should have been a permanent fixture in the top 15 crypto by market value IF the Pundi X team did not make a mess of this once great project.

It's just sad to see if this project will fail, one of the most profitable ICO in the past and has collected a decent amount will fail in the long run.
I pity those who hold a bag of NPXS if that will happen, if I lose, I could accept it as I have already sold some of my tokens when the price was still good.

We can see some update in https://cointelegraph.com/tags/pundi-x.... however, I'm not sure you guys would believe on their words anymore.
7103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: May 30, 2020, 08:38:34 AM
I changed the previous quote title, thank you for bringing it to my attention. I quoted the previous user but did not realise the incorrect title and will try to notice these things in future so they do not happen again.

What's wrong with the title? "[ANN][XCO] XCoin | CPU - Fast, Easy Mine, * NO PREMINE * | Official Thread"  Huh

Both Tungi and JollyGood should edit your post title, please.
7104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: May 29, 2020, 02:02:25 PM
DASH continues to make strides on many fronts. Having an Electrum DASH wallet on the Android store will simply make DASH accessible to an even more wider audience. I hope more and more people start downloading the Electrum DASH wallet. Good days ahead for DASH  Grin

7105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: May 29, 2020, 10:41:50 AM
I see nothing from the Pundi X team that gives any encouragement that somehow they will turn this around and make Pundi X a success. On the contrary the team are responsible for bringing the whole mess to the point where it is.

The gradual decline of the Pundi X project continues and it will eventually lead to another completely failed project that reaped phenomenal rewards for the team in the ICO.

Honestly I have already loss track on the development of the project, I am less interested on this project since its price was sliding so fast.
Currently trading at 1 sat, I can feel the frustrations of the investors who can't sell their tokens right now.

I don't know if PundiX will once again pump like it did in the past.

Hopefully not the end yet.

We are waiting for further developments because I am sure the price of Pundix will go up over time, maybe the bullrun comes when that happens then this token will increase slightly.
For the development of their products, I am not so clearer, but their development now is not like it used to be so crowded in social media.
7106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: May 28, 2020, 11:54:06 AM
DASH seems to be an option on many websites and projects as listed here recently. It is a pity things have not reflected positively in the DASH price but maybe things will change and it will increase significantly post COVID-19 lock down.
7107  Economy / Reputation / Re: More trust abuse by marlboroza on: May 28, 2020, 11:47:54 AM
@TwitchySeal

Do you see the sorts of low-life riff-raff that are floating about in this forum? Even when you stay calm and try to engage with them in a manner which can only be described as polite and courteous, they always fall back on their usual insult laden ways either by posting directly or by using proxies.

Actually the feedback I left Vod is documented fact. No one disputes Vod doxed OGNasty and claimed to have reported him to the IRS. As far as the comment regarding his mental state, I have repeatedly offered to modify the rating and replace it excluding that part if he feels that would make it a valid rating, but he refuses to respond. Vod avoids a direct response at all costs, because he is well aware his actions are indefensible.

How is what vod will do in the future a documented fact and not an assumption?  Do you have a crystal ball or something?  Does vod have access to everyones doxx?

I understand he doxxed OG, but that's not proof he will doxx anyone else who criticizes him.

He did it. It is a valid reason for a rating, not trust abuse. You enjoy your semantic gymnastics.

You are claiming he will do it again.  Do you think that's a provable fact or an assumption?

Do you have proof he reported OG to government agencies?  Or are you assuming that he did that.

He did that, and it's documented and self declared by himself. You really should seek doctor's help for your mental disorders.

How did you even got in a paid signature campaign ?
7108  Economy / Reputation / Re: 🔥 FAKE: Defamation At Its Worst During Chipmixer Applications 🔥 on: May 28, 2020, 09:11:57 AM
I am surprised you are still trying to engage with one of the biggest attention-seeking trolls in the forum. He obviously is thriving by playing the ignorance card, is it really worth it? He is so far deluded he is at the point of no return so trying to engage with him is almost a certainty to be futile.

What's funny is that nowhere in your long-winded, insult-ridden response did you demonstrate how my timeline was incorrect.

I didn't because it is irrelevant in spite of your protestations otherwise.

OK, so me pointing out exactly how you are lying is "irrelevant." Totally trustworthy behavior.  Roll Eyes

Just give up the lie and admit it for what it is. Peloso has no qualms doing that, neither should you.
7109  Economy / Reputation / Re: More trust abuse by marlboroza on: May 27, 2020, 05:05:24 PM
Sometimes I ask myself if I made a mistake by adding most of the trolls and attention-seeking users along with the general riff-raff to my IGNORE list because I seem to be missing out on large chunks of the picture when reading posts by those users I quite enjoy reading.

All things said and done I see no reason to unIGNORE those that cause friction within the forum, it is better for me to keep ignoring them all.
7110  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Post Your Favorite Trump Memes Here on: May 27, 2020, 01:25:35 PM
 Grin

That just about sums up the perception most people seem to have about Trump

Cheesy Bit scary though sometimes ^

7111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: May 27, 2020, 01:23:47 PM
Both of the fighters have their fans and that cannot be denied.

Before he fought Fury in the first match Wilder was considered as one of the best. After the draw result in the first fight (which many including myself believe Fury won), people started to think he was going to get found out in the re-match and he did. Even fans of Wilder can be his fans yet concede his will probably end up losing to Fury again.
7112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: May 27, 2020, 01:21:09 PM
The danger is for many sports gamblers trying their hands on online casinos or other forms of online gambling they are not familiar with which might lead on to addiction. That might be one adverse effect of the coronavirus lockdown.

At the same time, the pandemic is spreading people have a long time gambling online. B

They do if their interest is gambling, however, without a sports being played outside, no gambler would be able to do their thing, maybe they will try other type of gambling but once a gambler's passion is on sports, it will not be replace by any kind of gambling.

As for me, I would just wait until the sports will come back, I am confident we will be able to see them back soon.

Sadly the price is not going up and the project has been suffering with news that has not gone down well with investors. I hope it will at least start getting stability around the $0.35 mark soon otherwise the fear is the price will continue to decline.

Xrp has no future, I advise you to sell

It's unbelievable that Cryptopia and Grant Thornton haven't been sued or charged with major crimes.  In Canada Quadriga lost almost all of their coins and lawyers are suing the daylights out of Quadriga.

Cryptopia lost at most 10% of the coins, which means over 90% of the coins are still sitting in the wallets, and the judge declared the coins property and held in separate trusts, yet nothing is happening.

This is not Mt Gox that lost everything in a hack or Quadriga who lost almost everything. These assholes are deliberately taking their time trying to figure out how to scam us.

I would hope our lawyer, that argued on behalf of the clients, doesn't think his job is finished. He must petition the court to force Grant Thornton to return the coins quickly and force a copy of the database to be given to the court.

Think about the nightmare scenario where the Grant Thornton lowlifes start erasing people from the database and claiming they didn't want their coins. Then they just try to claim ownership over those supposed unwanted coins.  Whose making sure the database isn't tampered with ?
7116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: May 27, 2020, 09:10:03 AM
And that is the precise point that shows there is a danger of those new to gambling getting addicted and also those that already place bets regularly getting addicted too.

The fact there was a lock down will some how contribute to many aspects of pressure on health services post-lock down for gambling addiction (or domestic abuse, drug abuse or any psychological or physical issues)

At the same time, the pandemic is spreading people have a long time gambling online. Because they are stuck doing what they used to do or they enjoy outside. Almost everyone now focuses on their smartphones/desktops and you will find that many also share online gambling platforms even on social media groups. So they can't help but see it and even those who have no interest in it will want to try it out for comfort.
7117  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: coinsbit.io has taken all my funds without any explanation, looks like SCAM on: May 27, 2020, 08:58:59 AM
Thank you for keeping us posted about this matter. As long as regular updates are provided by you and others that were scammed it allows us to maintain a clear picture of these scam exchanges are continuing their operations which are designed to steal crypto/money from users.

I hope these scam exchanges will close down soon otherwise they will continue to steal more and more from gullible and innocent victims.

A small update: my balances are still 0, support keeps answering like "Dear user, our team will solve your problem soon and we will send you a message when it will be solved."
7118  Economy / Reputation / Re: 🔥 Defamation At Its Worst During Chipmixer Applications 🔥 on: May 26, 2020, 02:34:33 PM
LoyceV it was such a pleasant reply from you considering that disgraceful foul-mouthed idiot just used a disgusting profanity to address you with.

You cannot deny loycev suchmoon and all the cunts are probably talking real time on irc or slack or whatever
I can deny that: I'm using neither irc nor slack.
I did join the Bitcointalk Party - Discord server though.
7119  Economy / Reputation / Re: More trust abuse by marlboroza on: May 26, 2020, 09:36:19 AM
I removed marlboroza from my trust list a long time ago I think because from what I recall he specifically asked to not be added to any list.

Maybe that has since changed, if it has I would like to add him too.
7120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: May 24, 2020, 07:13:26 PM
Nobody is able to stop pumps and dumps, they are an active part of the whole crypto eco-system regardless of which coin or token is being discussed.

Does anybody think these pumps and dumps would hurt DASH growth more so than other competitor within similar price and total supply range?

Vietnam-focused Remittance service provider Cash2VN allows for remittance payments sent to Vietnam / VND account holders via $DASH  Smiley

How about limits of remittance payments with DASH each day (daily quota)?
Masternodes climbing time

http://178.254.23.111/~pub/Dash/Dash_Info.html

100 nodes in one month
Price pumps and dumps and this normal change can be observed with total masternodes on DASH network. It takes months for DASH masternode whales to come back and help the total nodes increase again. The masternode-count chart looks like the price chart of bitcoin. Dumped and pumped to the place before it was dumped.
Congrats!
