7121  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Bitcoin Supernode Summit Finland 9.-12. May 2013 on: May 01, 2013, 07:31:38 PM
I endorse this thread. However not yet sure how zeroday can actually keep the content here up-to-date, I don't yet know if he is doing 24/7 as I do. My focus is still in the other thread, and in 2-4 days I will move my focus solely on the summit and the delegates. By then we will probably have a private forum, FB group or such.

The current number attending:

3 participating hosts
3 non-participating hosts (secretariat)
6 delegates
2 virtual delegates.

I have contacted one Guest speaker, kangasbros, who owns Easywallet and Localbitcoins.

I plan to have a larger-audience event in the middle of the conference, probably Sat afternoon.

To make the discussion more convenient, I've created a separate topic dedicated solely to Bitcoin Supernode Summit.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=192008

I ask everyone to share their ideas relating the summit on the new thread linked above.

Thank you. Now I want to ask you (esp. delegates), which workshop should I expand first, the Supernode or Real Bills?

I'd love to assist or co-host the second event in Greece at any time appears generally attainable and reasonably distanced from announcement. I believe a date/locale should be set after the upcoming meetings in Finland and San Jose take place, so a more concise agenda may be established and adequate time for preparation is given. I will hopefully be attending both conferences.

You mean, all three of them? (Finland, CA, Greece)

What part did you find difficult to understand?
The part that's inconsistent with expected behavior of a bitcoin conference organizer, i.e. the whole thing.

The ones who expect something as regards bitcoin, are due for a surprise.

Do you believe if I say, I am just a messenger. There are more wonderful things to come...

This is a sucker rally dead cat bounce, we will not cross $125 before $100.

Might be, but nobody with half brain gives a shit about your predictions anyway.

To be honest, I am wondering why your ignore tag is not yet yellow considering your lack of content, and fixation on me.

95 isn't happening guys, this was a clear red hot bear trap that work wonderfully.

we'll be heading back up now  Cool

87 before the end of the day (EST)

I was looking at 87 as next support.

1:1 escrowed with zeroday that 87 holds?

ROTFL.

This is a compliment, I have used it perhaps once during my 1000+ posts in this forum so far  Grin

Is this the same guy who complained about the luxury in my summit...?  Roll Eyes What was the talk about the speck...

No - to be specific, this is the same guy who complained about the conspicuous display of luxury, specifically one that I found inconsistent with a commensurate conspicuous display of organization, planning, and business value associated with the event.  There is a profound difference, and always another chance to get it right!

PSY: I’ve heard it said that Gangnam is the Beverly Hills of Korea. But I would say that Gangnam is the capital of Seoul, which, of course, is the capital of Korea.  People who are actually from Gangnam never proclaim that they are -- it’s only the posers and wannabes that put on these airs and say that they are "Gangnam Style" -- so this song is actually poking fun at those kinds of people who are trying so hard to be something that they’re not.

Yes, the most I enjoy when I do it quietly. But I am now assigned to be the forum troll, and I like it. I ate whitefish tartar with seafood and cauliflower puree, and filtered water for appetizer. Then I came back to the forum for some more trolling. Then I continued with snails á la Haikko, oven-fresh bread, chardonnay and more filtered water. And now I'm back trolling. This is my work, my private life is not for sale.

If mine is not the best-organized bitcoin conference ever, I promise to sell 1000 bitcoins!

I don't believe the mid-term bear is over, before we visit $95 in the following max 48 hours. Buy as much <100 as you can.

(If we don't do it in that timeframe, I would go shopping again)
7133  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: May 01, 2013, 06:39:44 PM

that was a 1:1 bet that nobody dared to take. Now it's going to $95 and still nobody wants to play with me.

You deleted my post!

Umm.. I can only delete posts in my own thread, and my counter says that 92.8% of visitor content is deleted, as well as 21.7% of my own posts  Roll Eyes You think you are the elite 7%, try harder...

If I wanted the price to go down, I would also send my coinz to Gox and set up a scare wall. It's so February 2013 that it amazes me how people still fall on it..

7136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: May 01, 2013, 06:32:23 PM
This is a capitulation. It is going to find support below $100.
7137  Other / Off-topic / Re: rpietila public diary on: May 01, 2013, 06:25:58 PM
I would be highly attracted to an event planned in Greece.  Or Cyprus.  Been to both.  They are gorgeous, and very fitting for a Bitcoin-related event.

With enough warning time I like to go as well

+1, June is too soon, both in terms of proximity to today, as well as to the Bitcoin Foundation event.

August is too warm, therefore the week of 3.-7. July or the one before, would be my preference.

As this Finland gig is organized now, there is naturally no need to have another one in 3 weeks; 7-8 weeks between meetups is just fine.
7138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: May 01, 2013, 05:31:40 PM
Actually my fibonacci analysis points to a capitulation move, consummating in $95 in the following 24 hours. So I will need to alter the conditions of the puts such that $115 put costs BTC125 per 500 face, and that I will write a new $95 put for BTC75 per 500 face. But sms only for the ones actually interested, sorry for polluting the thread but this is on topic since I can't buy more with my nonexisting fiat.

I can still sell about 10ozt of gold and 5,000ozt of silver for a fair price for BTC, sms me please if hurry, PM if not.

If somebody wants to take my puts, please sms me +358503235950 while I'm continuing my dinner.
7140  Economy / Speculation / Re: The short term bear case on: May 01, 2013, 05:25:19 PM
It is possible. However I see $200 by month's end a near certainty.
