7121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The name altcoin is boring on: September 01, 2018, 10:02:01 PM
Good idea maybe you can create an altcoin Wikipedia for it.

Well anyway, that's how they used to be called and they are not really called that way before because some of them has good development and use. But the time has come where people looked at it as a way of making money through ICOs and generation of coins so that destroyed the quiet market of altcoin. Aren't you satisfied calling them shhhcoins?
7122  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to do ico press release for free?? on: August 31, 2018, 12:19:11 PM
Look for an aspiring company or person that are working on that field and ask if they can feature your ICO for free. But you are launching an ICO and you don't have budget for the press release?  Roll Eyes

well, there are quite a few free press release sites, the only question is whether will free press release bring you the kind of attention you would want/need for ICO.
What you pay is what you get but in this case, no pay so don't expect too much.
7123  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin are used as currency for trading by Yahoo Finan on: August 31, 2018, 11:58:02 AM
Would you guys buy cryptos from Yahoo?
Maybe or maybe not but for sure there are people that won't miss this chance of buying from the finest tech company, its yahoo finance and they are still kicking.

Does Yahoo have these days the power to influence the price somehow?
I guess they still have.

AFAIK, yahoo! was sold to another company and its under new management so they are trying to empower it again with this adoption.
7124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: the ways comment in this forum for beginner on: August 31, 2018, 11:25:49 AM
What does that replay means? I know you have something to say but you just included the wrong word. Don't comment too if you don't have something to say or add to the discussion.

half tread or one tread
It is thread mate, not tread.

I'm not a fan of him but whenever there are old timers that are announcing their retirements I'm also thinking that I'm getting old. Too many legends are going to be added to the list as well. I don't want to see any more of these retirements.

Dirk Nowitzki and Vince Carter are I think the next ones. They aren't veteran. They are now oldies lol. 40+ age.
Oh boy my boys Dirk Nowitzki and Vince Carter I forgot that they are still playing and I've heard that Vince is playing for his last season, this year. Man, we are growing old and these prime superstars are also retiring soon.

If you are not yet convinced with the given exchanges, choose the best from this link.
you can look it from https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/ for some clue,

Many satisfied traders are telling you that binance is the best for most so far. But if you are not convinced, you can try and trade to other exchange that has been operating for a long time. Don't trade with exchanges that are new, just to be safe.
7127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty platforms? on: August 30, 2018, 11:03:13 PM
Do you guys know any legit bounty platforms? Mainly for translations.
You shouldn't be posting this on this section. Move it to the altcoin discussions so you can see on how many bounty hunters will reply your question there.

Btw. if you have experience with translations, how easy is it to get a place?
I'm not a translator but I see its harder nowadays because of too many competitors, the competition is tough though.
7128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Determination is power on: August 30, 2018, 10:42:40 PM
So of course here you need to use all patience, perseverance and you need to study carefully!
Patience is needed for someone that hopes to excel to crypto market.

You cannot be rich overnight if are too hasty and you keep on complaining about the current run of the market. It's just time that you need to wait and its no longer working on your part, the problem lies on your attitude as an investor because you don't know how to wait and keep yourself on cool down.

7131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you learn any hard lessons from Crypto or a an altcoin this year? on: August 29, 2018, 03:52:30 AM
I've learned the same lesson as last year that there's no need to panic. It doesn't suits the timing of the market if you bought at high and you will start to panic and will think of bad things to the market. As a trader and holder that won't help your mindset to remain positive.

And to be fair, you have to do and fight every correction. How? it's very simple, buy at least any coin at their cheap rates.
7132  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Main reason behind crypto currencies red market in 2018 on: August 29, 2018, 03:27:49 AM
Current year has been bit worst for crypto coins.
This year isn't the worst for cryptocurrencies, look at the past years there has been bad year for the early lads.

Apart from values, we have ICOs in the market with best projects. So what happened is the investment spill over too many ICOs and thus bitcoin value remained below $6.5K .
I won't blame the ICOs if the market has been down and the current value of bitcoin has decreased. This normal incident where whales sold most of their bags and the small ones that are just following the trend sold as well and that made the demand lower.

This is another reason for all altcoins values remain under a threshold. Hope we have more investors pitch in investing into bitcoin.
Altcoins fall as well, they are leaning to bitcoin's shoulder so there's a domino effect.
7133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are old coins no more profitable on: August 29, 2018, 02:52:51 AM
All can happen in the crypto market. Even though it's an old coin. It's just that we need a little pump, which can boost the price of coins.
Dead coins can be revive as well if there's a whale that's tripping and is just looking to have fun. I've seen that scenario somewhere last year and few hours after he pumped that coin, many FOMOed and bought that coin.

After few percentage of increase, he dumped the coin afterwards. As long as that coin is listed though its an old coin and there are buy orders that's going to boost its price.

Before looking to those type of coins, see to it that coin has really community behind it if its totally dead I don't advise to you to pursue it.
7134  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: can anyone advise me on: August 29, 2018, 01:08:55 AM
You need to go through forums and ask someone to help you who is a Jr. Member or any other rank. Hope it helps you.
It's not about the rank, there are newbies that knows what to do first and that is by knowing the house rules of this forum. Read most of the forum rules and regarding the ranking system on Meta.
7135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price& Volume Timeline on: August 29, 2018, 12:41:42 AM
The good old days.  Cool

Though I'm not so old to cryptocurrencies but if the newbies and panic sellers that lost confidence and starts to doubt the market will see this, it can change their mind and it can regain their confidence. Volume and price has increased for just few years and like those big companies now, they went through this type of journey.
7136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You should be carefull of what ICO your going to invest with! on: August 28, 2018, 11:21:44 PM
Are you an investor or you are just interested with bounty campaigns?

If they have established their coin properly, read their whitepaper and other normal ICO stuffs. That's the start of knowing if that ICO is something that will have blast and reach its success. Don't just go with the voice of the crowd and depend on it, you have to work for it.
7137  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2018 - List of crypto cards on: August 28, 2018, 10:36:25 PM
BonPay has that too, I was part of their signature campaign before as shown to the link given by OSS.

Speaking of signature campaign, there's one now that's going to pay you with card worth $140 but it's only eligible for senior members to legendary members.

[PAYCENT – CRYPTO DEBIT CARD][Signature Campaign] - EARN FREE CARD - 140$

TenX has its crypto card too.
7138  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase got hacked??? on: August 28, 2018, 10:15:08 PM
Have you look to the transaction history?

Coinbase wasn't hacked because if it did, many are going to have that complain and it will be on the news. You probably logged in to a phishing link where the hacker is just monitoring your move and when he has chance to do so, he robbed you.
7139  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Solution for your market problems. on: August 28, 2018, 06:37:47 PM
Why would these two chains that you mentioned can be the solution? I believe for every problem there is a solution but what does these two chains will do for the existing problem that we're currently facing?

And have you determined the problems that you have to solve?
7140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which STO's (Security Tokens) to invest in? on: August 28, 2018, 06:07:36 PM
I've looked and researched about the lists of security tokens that's being suggested and most of the list are only suggesting the same tokens.

Why you are hooked to security tokens?
