@JayJuanGee

did you turn bear?

I remain a buydler and a hodler...    Cool

However, I just get a little bit too worked up, from time to time, when there are posts that seem to be purposefully based on incorrect information - even if the information happens to be bullish.    Angry

In that regard, there is NO credible news or information that Coinbase is making some major or large purchase of BTC in the next 1 or 2 days.  If there is such news, I would like to hear what that is (besides the message that they provided to users on Sunday about being out of BTC).  Huh

ok just checking...

and thank you for correcting any misinterpretations of things.

there's some truth to it, coinbase did run out.

Instead of pausing buys entirely, we decided to give people the option to purchase bitcoin at the market price in a few days. Once your USD funds arrive, we will exchange them to bitcoin at the market price at approximately Friday Aug 22, 2014 at 11:04PM PDT.

Don't.   Buying the presale is not investing in ethereum, is not buying an IPO.  Is just giving the developers free money.  In the presale terms and conditions it clearly says that they have no obligation to even finish the project since they are in alpha phase.
You are basically funding them. And for now they definitely don't need more.

The project will be finished (if ever) in months. It's gonna suck you BTC away.

ya they don't need anymore BTCs, buy from me

10% off, you get an encrypted file.

Any comment here on the suddenly high volume on BTCChina? During the last uptrend (450$-680$) BTCChina's volume was around 5k daily, while now during the last days down and the bounce, daily volume is around 30-35k. While bitstamps volume remained the same.

Some one here implied that coinbase was now buying from BTCChina instead of Bitstamp, maybe they made this switch to implement Litecoin soon? Don't forget litecoin's founder is working at Coinbase.

seems like a good theory.

all it cost to get bitcoin turning was a pizza.

I guess Ethereum will sell off another batch of their coins when the price recovers further. Combined with the New York Issue we could see another panic sell before we get ready for the cold days.

Winter is coming!

can't they pay for there hookers and blow in BTC  as they consume guezz.

Ethereum logic: bitcoin recovered 12% better cash out a lifetime supply of fiat.

sad.

someone say it ain't so, i had respect for these guys...

I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting really weary of the whole "Winklevii ETF launch soon, it will save us!" crap.

The SEC's job is supposed to include protecting the casual investor from fraudulent and misrepresented investments, like those that led to the crash of 1929.  If they were really committed to that, their position about COIN or any other bitcoin investment fund should be the one aptly and repeatedly illustrated in this classic video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gpjk_MaCGM

But, as we saw in the last financial crisis, the US government has redefined their mission as helping sleazy entrepreneurs to suck money from common folks.  So I suppose that the chances of COIN being approved are good.  The approval may have a positive effect on price, maybe.

the SEC's job isn't to make investments risk free, its to stop shit like pirate40's Bitcoin Investment Trust from happening.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting really weary of the "Winklevii ETF launch soon, it will save us!" crap.  Not that I don't want to see that happen.  I do, but not only have people been saying for 4-5 months now SoonTM! about that ETF launching, but it could literally be like another year away, or more.  I really don't want to read about it being "just around the corner" for the next 12+ months, from people who really have no fkn clue when it will launch.

It's the equivalent of saying "Bitcoin to $40K any day now!"  So tiring.

we don't need saving.

doing just fine.
7155  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 21, 2014, 03:39:33 PM

What you guys think about litecoin... isn't overshooting a bit?

Most epic short squeeze there is. Yes it is overshooting, i suspect i'll go down again eventually.

LITECOIN č UNA CAGATA PAZZESCA  Grin

shorts are higher today then yesterday.

this is just the beginning...
7157  Economy / Speculation / Re: what should I do, I invested a lot on: August 21, 2014, 03:22:14 PM
remember the fundamentals

Scarce
Durable
Portable
Divisible
Impossible to counterfeit
Fungible ( any 1 BTC has the same value as any other )
Easy to keep safe ( contrary to popular belief, it easy to print out a paper wallet...)

if this is worth less than 525$ to you, then get out now.
7158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 21, 2014, 02:41:14 PM
ShroomsKit what do you think of these dumps?
7159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 21, 2014, 02:36:45 PM
Why is Finex only at $524 and Stamp is already tackling the $530s??? This is strange, Finex used to be below Stamp over the last days or so, then it was a tad higher starting today and now it doesn't seem to move... What's going on here?

1% difference?

not even enough  to arbitrage

nothing is "going on", the aliens have landed that is all.   Cheesy

also leveraged longs are probably still covering, causing the difference,  longs are spooked...
7160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 21, 2014, 02:33:53 PM
No its not sad, its just typical. Greed caused them to miss the good buying opportunity and now they dwell in delusion that it was not a greed but a "smart move" to wait. Deep inside they are shaking in fear, but mask it with retarded smiley spamming ( Grin Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy etc.) to fake confidence.

The same could be said about the most aggressive of bulls during a price decline and subsequent flash crash, no?

Same denial, same greed, just applied in the opposite direction.

no, there is 40 000 % difference   Wink
