floyd mayweather, mice tison, i saw on his body there is a bitcoin tattoo, i'm sure he also invests in bitcoin, and there are other names too like famous footballers like leonil messi, messi is one of the most famous people in the world, he once posted about blockchain on his instragram, he even talked about bitcoin in the media..
A lot of celebrities tattoo Bitcoin on they skin and that goes a long way to show they support for the gaint of crypto and also most of them have the personal NFTs that they also develop and promote through they songs and arts.
7144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Bitcoin a donation to everyone on: December 20, 2021, 10:25:56 PM
Lost Bitcoin then can be said to be an unofficial burn as the coins can no longer be used and locked out of the market and this will lead to a reduction in the total supply of the coin because the wallet will forever remain inaccessible.

7146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My coins percentage down on: December 20, 2021, 04:10:59 PM
Take it or leave it whenever there is a price crash altcoins portfolio suffer the most as It percentage always move in a multiple percent due to the large total supply and low market cap. So also when the market increases altcoins are the first to do multiple xs.
7147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fed To decide the future of assets purchasing 14th December on: December 20, 2021, 04:05:26 PM
I do not think some buy orders on a a single exchange is enough to be newsworthy or does it need to have anything to do with some upcoming FED conference. This seems like a pretty cheap way to push out some articles while trying to use the Bitcoin community to gain traffic.
You guys were right if you take the current market condition for example it shows the opposite of what was predicted, ordinarily if the buy orders increased at the time the news was shared it should have reflected on the price positively but with the price condition at the moment it's far from that.

Flattering as that sounds, I would never put myself on top of such a list. I simply lack the technical know-how, coding abilities, and extensive background knowledge of different kinds of Bitcoin-related processes. I think you missed several of those who have those qualities and can be found posting in the technical sub-boards. But anyways, thanks for the mention!

LoyceV shouldn't be on that list either. You are supposed to put him on a separate cyborg and AI intelligence kind of list. Not one for humans. Tongue
Not sure what is going on with Ognasty, but he seems quite bitter to me considering some of the posts I have seen him make.
You can come across Rath_'s posts on the Bitcoin technical boards.
Everyone on this list is a great forum member, but I just decided to place the watch light on DdmrDdmr at this time. Subsequently, we are analyzing other members on the list and even outside the list.
7149  Other / Meta / Bitcointalk project Reserve fund. on: December 20, 2021, 05:35:32 AM
Before I proceed to the main point of this thread let me share a story that can help our understanding of the thread in a better way.
There was a certain time when a megabank exit scam happen in my country, the bank liquidated with investors, customers, and staffs funds running into billions of dollars. It was a devastating situation to the general public and even the government at that time without any solution to the problem. But the government through the central bank came up with a policy to contrail avert future occurrence of such scams and the central came off with what is called, Banks capital reserves where all banks deposit huge percentages with the central bank where all deposits will be paid back from in the case of any financial problems arising from such financial banks in the future.
In that way, the central pay back all legitimate and verified deposits, staff, and investors.

Back to the main reason for this thread
@theymos and the other administrators of this forum can come up with such a policy such as what we have with the forum banners space where new projects that require the services and investment of members of this forum deposits a certain amount in a forum escrow account where all unsettled payments and refunds are made from in the case of the project not succeeding or an exit scams.

What this will result in is!
1: Eradication of scam projects from this forum
2: easy means of addressing any issue coming from
investors and staffs and project team
3: project team will have a sense of responsibility to put in they best to push the project to succeed.

Those at the center of this policy are:
1 investors
2 bounty hunters
3 managers

Thanks for your comments and suggestions.

Lauda left the forum before I came but Ratimov is still around, I don't see any connection between the two accounts.
I don't care if Lauda is still around or not so long as am not guilty and do not promote scam projects why should I worry about who I don't even know, I hard Lauda was notorious is bashing scammers.

7154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Data-driven or Emotional driven Bitcoin holder? on: December 19, 2021, 10:30:17 AM
The data-driven holders are basing their decisions on something that are not fixed... so it is worthless too. You cannot say that any previous event will play out the same EVERY time. Let's just take the previous Halvings as an example of what I am saying.

Most people are under the impression that a Halving will increase the demand and also the price, but that is not true for every Halving. A lot of times the Halving happens at the same time when there are another event that are pushing the price down... this cancel out any spike that might have occurred as a result of the Halving.  Roll Eyes
Well the halving was not based on any data, why because if you take the previous Bitcoin halving and study it data properly you will see that price did not just rise immediately after the halving, some time was given and halving was never a guarantee of increase demands even if the supply is reduced.
7155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin City on: December 19, 2021, 07:30:09 AM
I really hope the price of bitcoin can stabilize or rise to prevent naysayers from bashing bitcoin over this and discouraging future leaders from creating similar types of bitcoin cities. However, the price action of bitcoin is unlikely to deter further global adoption as we see in El Salvador.
To a far extent bitcoin price has been stable enough, anywhere around 40k is still a bull market, and judging from recent price movements Bitcoin is more stable now than ever before. Bitcoin global adoption may take some time but it will eventually happen.
7156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Data-driven or Emotional driven Bitcoin holder? on: December 19, 2021, 07:07:39 AM
Be a data-driven Bitcoin holder or an emotionally attached Bitcoin holder, these two terms have constantly played a big role in the bitcoin market and its future growth as they both have a strong stitch on Bitcoin.
What is data-driven?
I data-based information is information collected from past events and happening which are stored for future reference and usage.
What is Emotional driven?
Emotional driven is the attitude of getting emotionally attached to a situation be it presents or past happening.
Analysis
Both data and emotion play a similar role in our decision-making process most especially in a statically oriented asset such as Bitcoin quite a large number of Bitcoin investors/holders rely on data collected from past events to make the decision. But again a large number of bitcoin holders are carried away by emotions without any reference to past data but just on their feelings and experience. Data-driven will help to make an accurate prediction e.g when Bitcoin is on the correctional stage, going through past data will help you to know how the previous correction stage went so you have a guide, But emotional driven will force the holder to jump on the bandwagon and panic sale.
It is better to be a data-driven Bitcoin holder rather than being carried away by emotions.
7157  Economy / Gambling / Re: Show Your Victory on: December 18, 2021, 03:57:31 PM
My biggest winning was $300 and that was two months ago I am not a big bettor but still proud of my winning I have huge losses from the past, the thing is if you are proud of your losses you should also be comfortable with your losses, the most important is you enjoy the game, the hardest thing is to be disappointed after you play in the casino, and it will happen if you play with money that you are afraid of losing.
I have not won such a big amount before, the highest I won so far is $150 and it's a long time ago but since then winning have not come my way again, gambling is a lick base business while some are lucky to make it huge winning others just keep losing.
7158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin full integration in payment systems on: December 18, 2021, 03:51:38 PM
It takes regulatory policies for companies to finally integrate direct Bitcoin payments into their systems. For now, companies in different countries all over the world are tiptoeing on Bitcoin because of the lack of regulations. They are waiting for the proper green light from the authorities for them to finally make Bitcoin payment an integral part of their payment options.

However, things don't seem urgent because Bitcoin is not an attractive payment option even to Bitcoin owners themselves. With what's going on with fiat, it would be better to keep the better money and spend the bad money.
If companies are waiting for regulatory approval before integrating Bitcoin into their payments system then they may have to wait for a very long time as the authorities may take longer to make a policy in that direction because Bitcoin is a decentralized currency so its regulation may be hard to achieve.

How about ADA city. Get a bag and live from the dividends?

Get real.
I think El Salvador is only interested in Bitcoin for now and I have not hard of any altcoins investment in that country, may be in the future el Salvador may diversify but nothing on that at the moment.
