Looks like a good escrow service. I did not know you were such a badass in real life.
7142  Economy / Services / Re: CaptchaCoin.co.gp - the fair alternative on: September 01, 2013, 10:05:54 AM
Are the captchas or case sensitive? The rate is very low.

looks like recaptcha, so you only need 1 word correct, the other one can be wrong. check google for the tutorial

No they aren't, Valve still has steam, when they get rid of steam and the online requirements then they'll be doing it right, Valve fanboism annoys me >_< Tongue, oh and they ruined Team Fortress 2 by making it all about stupid hats and collectable items, you're right about game developers just being in it for money, but don't make the mistake a lot of people make of thinking Valve is exempt from this.

All companies are in it for the money. At least their games haven't gone to shit like EA's.

Maybe relevant? http://www.computerandvideogames.com/262497/valve-refuses-to-sell-out-on-stock-market/

I played pretty much all the Total War games, unfortunately total war is turning into most RTS like that Sad it's more about how many units you can spam rather than using any form of strategy before in the first Shogun it did actually involve some proper skill but now you just need the better troops and you'll usually win with a basic flank attack etc. and the multiplayer is pretty pathetic..... Then there's the DLC's they're already churning out in order to get you to pay for them ;_;.

We need to go back to the old ways where strategy games were about terrain modifiers and not about getting to the unit which has 999999 hitpoints first Tongue I'm hoping things will change in Rome 2 Total War but I doubt it because the developers are arrogant twats like most of them are in the games industry.

Nowadays, video games are about money, not gameplay value. Only a few companies like Valve are doing it right.

Lately, 100% Team Fortress 2.  I don't know what it is about that game, but I can't stop shooting people in the face with rockets.

I also sometimes play CiV; that's another really addicting game.  BNW made it all the better, though now it seems science victories are a lot harder to reach; I'll be in year 2030 and still won't be anywhere near the last technologies.

I've been playing TF2 (and trading hats for Bitcoin) for the past 2 years. I only stopped in June because my computer is busted and I don't want to buy a new one (already have a tablet). Maybe we can play together someday :-)

Actually, Payday 2.

But, I played a lot of DotA(2) and LoL.

Payday 2 is a great game but it can get a bit repetitive once you know all the levels by heart. Grin

@Lethn: have you played the first Rome: Total War game? I didn't really like it. Sending out waves of troops to fight against the enemy's waves of troops is not too fun for me.

7147  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Poll: is Newbie Forum necessary? on: September 01, 2013, 08:44:46 AM
I am a newb and I approve of the restrictions.

Carry on.

Finally a newbie who does not complain about the Newbie section :-)

PM their support. Their time is probably out of sync.

The hen was re-educated by the government agents. Is that right?
7150  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Police storm homeschool class, take children by force on: September 01, 2013, 08:41:45 AM
Yeah, if it was real the U.S media in particular would be in an uproar because they love victimising Christians.

and the police/government

Dictator Obama can do whatever he wants.

7153  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Police storm homeschool class, take children by force on: September 01, 2013, 08:36:51 AM
I think the news story is fake, it's not on any major news sites.
7154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: OK WTF on: September 01, 2013, 08:35:32 AM
my multibit is reading 170.00 and my blockchain which supposedly includes my multibit is  reading 0.69

Your client is messed up if you don't actually have 170 BTC.
7155  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MTGOX on: September 01, 2013, 08:34:58 AM
I'm happy with bitcoin.de - localbitcoins or bitstamp are fine too btw

Yeah, those are all good choices of exchange. Bitinstant used to be good but I'm not sure about them now
7156  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Iphone and Ipad for sale on: September 01, 2013, 08:34:14 AM
Will you get the Iphone 5s in the future?

They're already making an Iphone 5s? Didn't the iPhone 5 come out like.. 4 or 5 months ago??

yes, iPhone 5S has a gold back instead of silver, and iphone 5C has a plastic shell instead of metal.
7157  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: The BitCoin Mining Curve (same as oil) on: September 01, 2013, 08:33:14 AM
I think that is a good analogy. Mining is getting harder and harder. However, miners need to sell BTC or else they will not be making money :-)
7158  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another free way to obtain bitcoins, Pyramining on: September 01, 2013, 08:27:33 AM
