7141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: November 04, 2018, 09:03:06 AM
This happens with all the addictions as well, how many people enjoy doing recreational drugs and they say to themselves that they are doing it only for the fun and then months later you find out that they are completely addicted, so for those that cannot control their gambling it is better they do not gamble at all or they could risk deceiving themselves and realizing too late that what they thought was a way to get some fun has become their whole lives.
The addiction with drugs is much more violent specially if its habit forming and has physiological dependence. Even trying to tell them that its bad will make them rage and they will go into aggressive mode. These people are so fond of their poison that they would never realize the truth that its killing them and it certainly hurts their near and dear ones.

Yes, and I think some of them doesn't have a brave to tell the members of the family that they are playing gambling or even they are addicted person in gambling. And this makes them keep secret their addicting to other people, so they don't have a way to solve their problem.
Accepting the fact that they are addicted is the first step to getting rid of the addiction. Its tough but if they are able to do it and their family is supportive then there is a ray of hope in them.
7142  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to Bitcoin if there is a global economic crash? on: November 04, 2018, 08:50:53 AM
For me bitcoin price wil not be affected if there is a global economic crash happen because of its decentralized currency and the government don't have control with it.
Apparently it seems like that but that not whats happening. You have to realize that the economy of the world is not fully based on crypto. The biggest share comes from fiat and. Also the mode of purchase of crypto and bitcoin is also fiat. The same fiat is also used to buy stocks and commodities. Thus when there is a economic crisis people will exit from speculative markets using that fiat itself causing dips in every market  be it the stock or the crypto.

Bitcoin is decentralized and not controlled by governments but the system is not that it can be the biggest one to replace fiat.
7143  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.0035-0.004 loan needed by monday on: November 03, 2018, 11:05:54 AM
this is localbitcoins address I am interested in withdrawing straight to cash
In other words, you are going to withdraw it and run away. Obviously you have no business in this forum anymore since you got negative trust and you will be unable to get into any campaigns or so (which you signed up for) and I am pretty sure you have made totally new account to continue that abandoning this one forever.

One more non-collateral loan request aka scam attempt. Whats new in that? Roll Eyes
7144  Other / Meta / Re: Adding a master account field to profiles. on: November 03, 2018, 08:55:36 AM
There doesn't seem to be an easy way to link it to Jet Cash in the profile unless I start to use it.
I appreciate the effort that you are taking in your fit to talk and other projects, but such a suggestion would only be useful on a selective basis. Considering your account to be a use case of this suggestion, I dont see people who are using alt account to scam/spam/farm are going to actually reveal it - would they? That would make their whole attempt of making those accounts useless Cheesy

You on the other hand are not getting into such things (I hope) and you could create a thread in "Reputation" to keep the list of alts that you are creating and update it when new ones are made. Lock it so to prevent people from making unnecessary comments to it.

Does anyone still use ICQ?
Nope. We have so many other new IM softwares. Cool
7145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any reason to day trade anything other than bitcoin? on: November 03, 2018, 08:49:24 AM
Agree because the bigger the marketcaps, the faster your order will be filled on the market and it will benefit you more faster,
thats why I always trade on coins in the top marketcap, profits are faster and certainly much safer..
Care to elaborate on how this works?

As far as my experience of trading goes, there is no guarantee of predictions of market unless you are doing the long term hodl game. If you are going for the top marketcap coins then the advantage is that trades will be quickly executed because their demand and supply is coming in much faster compared to other coins. But how does that make profits come fast? Profits would be individualistic depending upon what a certain trader has bought at and what they are selling at. Huh
7146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: November 03, 2018, 08:45:22 AM
That also maybe a reason why they are getting addicted to gambling because they have their smartphones at their hand so they may be interested to make some money through gambling but they are not going to have lot of money to spend for gambling so they even they get addicted to ot they may not much affected in terms of economically.
Well technology has its good and bad effect, not to mention all inventions of science has its boon and bane. Its on the person who is using it to decide how to use them and what to take advantage of or let the bad things take over them. Considering young people, I dont expect someone from a middle-class family to be having cash always at hand unless they are already in a job, in which case nobody is going to judge them or they are coming a rich family with a lot of money to "waste". But since they are adults they are responsible for their own money.

Either way it always the rich remain rich and poor remain poor. So even if they do waste gambling, the only people who are in profit are the casino owners and not the players.
7147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The whales need no indicators! on: November 03, 2018, 08:40:55 AM
I disagree with you on this because I believe that technical analysis is actually important or if not that at least following the news and I also think that big investors also care about this when looking to buy coins because otherwise they might just as well throw that money away - which is unlikely.
Thing is Technical Analysis is not everyone's cup of tea. It a totally different branch and it needs intellectual and educated people to actually understand and apply it. Not that every next door get-rich-quick wannabe trader would be able to profit from it. What happens is that due to peer pressure some wannabes like the OP, enter the market hoping to make some profit by their "friend" who gave them some tips of TA. Fact is most people are like that wont use their own brains to decide their trading methods.

End of the day the "friend" goes to a profit because they sold when the person in question bought and thats what they were actually doing altogether. Trying to pump so they could dump.
7148  Economy / Lending / Re: Don't sell your Bitcoin us it as collateral for a loan on: November 03, 2018, 08:35:31 AM
You are right I don't have 100BTC what I do have is I work for a company that does stock loans and did their first loans on Bitcoin in 2017. Here is the link about the article outlining those first loans. http://www.digitaljournal.com/pr/3568286
That does not make it "your company" neither does it make you a middleman for marketing. It makes you a scammer impersonating another company. You think people are naive to fall for such tricks?

Quote
I am obviously knew to this forum and would appreciate any tips you have to get along with the community better.
I think not. You are obviously try to fool people to scam them. Doing something wrong and then saying you were new and thus need to be exempted does not cut it. Rules are same for everybody and trying to scam people will get you a negative trust and public mocking.

We do large secured loans and I would love to show you what we can do for you.
Why dont you sign a message first?
7149  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bounty jobs aggregators, jobs for tokens on: November 02, 2018, 05:06:43 PM
Can you recommend web sites, where one can find people, willing to work for bounties (projects tokens) and projects, which offer jobs with payments in their own tokens?

There are some websites which aggregate and list the currently running bounty campaigns. But its better you go to the bounties section of the Altcoins boards to look for new projects to participate in. Word of caution is that these bounties are like giveaways and you should not try to waste too much time doing them. Most of the ICO projects dont do good and in this bear market they are doing even poorly.

You would not want to work for days gathering tonnes of shittokens but not be able to sell them for any value, would you? Still its your call.
7150  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to Bitcoin if there is a global economic crash? on: November 02, 2018, 09:39:47 AM
the primary objective of satomoshi's bitcoin is to provide relief to investors in times of economy crisis, so bitcoin was programmed to survive economic crisis, the victim of economic melt down are always the fiat dependent individuals, bitcoin is an electric method of transactions.
Like if it was so easy then you would have seen a huge pump in bitcoin when the stock market went down.
But is that happening? No.

The S&P went down a week back and so did bitcoin. Bitcoin was supposed to go opposite if the assumption you make is true but it didnt. It followed what the stock market did. It not possible to predict which type of movement would reciprocate each other in all these markets. Maybe the precious metals market would be a better complement to cryptocurrencies because they tend to balance each more than the stock market.

Bitcoin is the saviour of struggling economies. Venezuela is taking advantage of the new decentralised currency as the price is not dependant on local factors
Petro? LOL, it will never be able to solve the problem with such a idiotic person governing it. Wasnt is Trump who said that US investors were not allowed to invest in Petro?
7151  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion - Health index for topics to stop spam megathread/bumping on: November 02, 2018, 09:34:52 AM
Every topic which has a health index below 50% could get automatically locked to stop the spam megathreads...

Another thing is, if we could arrange the topics by the health index, we could found topics with quality content more easily...
What about the ANN threads which get shitposted? There are some legit posts made by the team of development and marketing there as well, which will obviously not be removed. Then the messages which were shitposts would give an impression that the health index is low and lock up the topic. It would actually mean that the thread was taken over by the spammer newbies than the dev team but to people who dont know about these internal things about the forum would get a wrong idea.  Embarrassed

Quote
In this case, we could deal with bump bots, because now we cannot handle this situation easily... by the time your report will make the bump post delete, the topic gets another bump post, so it's not effective...
A bit offtopic: When I see multiple bumps or necroposts on a dead topic, I tend to report only the first bump/necro. I expect the moderator who checks to check the next few messages as well. I want to know if that is ok with the staff or not?
7152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading platforms are growing but what about investors ? on: November 02, 2018, 09:26:34 AM
Well, there are hundreds of exchanges and many more coming up, but not all exchanges are good. Only a few exchanges have got good reputation and the majority of investors have been trading there like Binance and Bittrex.
There is a difference between an investor and a trader. One can be both but those who are the big whales will either be an investor or a trader and not both at the same time. If someone is putting in their time to check out new projects to put their money into, they will have little time left to do technical analysis or check price charts to trade. Similarly those who are day trading would not want to get into a new project unless its pretty hyped up.

I dont understand why the question of exchanges is coming up here.

The fewer investors will decrease the market price. The market price is influenced by the volume, therefore we must convince the public to believe that bitcoin is very influential for the future.
You have no idea how many people are in the market so better not make an assumption like that.
7153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: November 02, 2018, 09:23:13 AM
All we can do is only advising other people, and it depends on that person how he can accept the suggestion. And if he can think that the suggestion can help him to solve the problem, then he should try the suggestion so at least, he can solve his problem.
The only person who can solve the problem is the person themselves. If they are not determined to stop gambling then nobody can stop them. Being determined also needs constant support from the members of the family and friend circle. If the problem is in the peer group of gamblers then they should leave that group for the time being.

Quote
But maybe he cannot listen to the suggestion and continue and makes another mistake.
That is why we cannot do anything other than motivate others not to get addicted. It should be kept under control and scrutiny. Then again its not possible to keep watch on such a person unless they are in a rehab home.
7154  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recommendations for good exchanges on the smaller side? on: November 01, 2018, 07:45:18 AM
Sorry, probably should have stated that. Crypto to crypto is what i'm looking for. I've used Coinbase a fair bit for fiat to crypto, but only because I just followed advice/suggestions from friends when I first started. Thanks for the suggestions mjglqw! I'll be sure to have a look at Abra.  Cool
If you are using coinbase do not use it as a wallet. They are in control of your private keys and you would not want them confiscated at any point for any reason.

Back to topic, you would want to look into the local legal rules of crypto before you start trading. I understand you are attempting crypto to crypto exchanges but the source of crypto is also needed. I guess for any normally earning person its going to be fiat. So for fiat to crypto you would want to consult local regulations and then only sign up on an exchange, get verified and link your bank account.

Not going to suggest any names, but you can find a lot of them from coinmarketcap list of exchanges as well.
7155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You think we're deviating from bitcoin's philosophy? on: November 01, 2018, 07:34:26 AM
It is complicated though, I dont think most members of the forum have access to the forum or have had the chance to read the bitcoin whitepaper.
If someone is going to put their money into some new project they should read the whitepaper. Although bitcoin has become so popular, yet it is true that many people never actually read the original whitepaper of bitcoin before buying it or supporting it. But that did also shape the basis of starting other projects based on ICOs.

Quote
I believe their deviation from the core vision of bitcoin as speculated by Satoshi is merely due to ignorance.
There literally has been no deviation. This thread has become a shitposting tavern like the thousand other threads in this section.

Quote
I dont think people are intentionally deviating from  bitcoin's philosophy hence we need more education on the whitepaper.
Education of whitepaper does not make any sense. We should propose that people do read the whitepaper and understand the philosophy better. However not everyone's acumen is the same. Cheesy
7156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effect of news circulating for Bitcoin prices on: November 01, 2018, 07:26:35 AM
Important of news in bitcoin they affects of price and popular of bitcoin, some people spread bad news or FUD to lower the price of bitcoin. If many people spread in good news probably bitcoin price will rise again.
You guys need to get a grip on yourselves and check out the market more than the time you spend on the forum. News is a part of the life and there will be good and bad news everyday. Considering the fact that the governments control the media channels and most of the news are paid, the crypto related news also similar. The whales will manipulate the markets by making good and bad news but its your decision that matters most.

Whether you decide to buy or sell or hold is at your discretion. If you play by the whales' games, you will lose money and they will make money. Trades gradually become resistant to news and know how to counteract them.
7157  Economy / Lending / Re: Searching for 0.09 BTC (Pay back in 1-2 months) on: October 31, 2018, 01:54:51 PM
I guess you are the same person with this username on primedice/primedice forum as well. Although primedice forum was much more lenient in allowing non-collateral loans bitcointalk is not so. I see you signed off as "Sander" and I found you on my telegram with the ID @KoningHossel who was denied because of asking for a non-collateral loan as well.

If you even ask for a loan without any valid collateral here then your account will get negative trust from DefaultTrust members. Not to mention you are newbie here with no prior successful trades done.

Read here - [EDU]The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Accounts are not accepted as anything of value and IDs are useless because people can make several fake IDs. Besides even if you default while your real ID is with another person, the lender cant prosecute you for fraud - because digital currencies like bitcoin dont have any legal implications till now.

Sorry to say, but bitcointalk is a much more strict and toxic forum than primedice forum and you would be better off if you just lock this thread or people are going to just mock at you here. Wink
7158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effect of news circulating for Bitcoin prices on: October 31, 2018, 08:59:00 AM
Well, of course it's a reason behind the fall of the price. Also, maximum investors intend to predict the price based on the market talk. So, they go haste and the market becomes a bit unstable and the price falls.
If someone is making predictions based on market "talk" then they are not investors in the first place. Rather they are speculators and people should be cautious in dealing with them. There are trolls and shills for and against every project there and idiots from the interwebs often fall for them putting their money in the wrong place. If they are making haste and selling, I would call them weak handed get-rich-quick wannabes. Roll Eyes

So does this means media are profiting well for spreading bad news even if its not totally bad news at all they only add false stories to make news more live and really convincing to most crypto people/traders I understand now dont believe well in all media publications its 50% real or fake.
Fake news is mainly done by whales who want to manipulate the market for their own greed. This might seem like a conspiracy theory but its is said that the media is paid by them to spread these news.

Otherwise how would you explain the coordinated FUD attacks on news websites like Telegraph, Forbes, Bloomberg at around the same time and against bitcoin?
7159  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is not a limit for success? on: October 31, 2018, 08:47:57 AM
Today many are disappointed with the new ranking rules, including myself.
Once again we are back on the bandwagon "merit broke my life sir!" that coming from a newbie.

Quote
However, after I think about it, merit and ranking are not everything. Knowledge is more important than merit.
Correct, but that what does that have to do with the forum? This is not college entrance test.

Quote
With knowledge I will get more than merit. What about your opinion?
You get merits when people give you merits. If they dont feel like you earn merits then they wont give you any. If you are generic shitposter or a bounty spammer you wont get any merits. Tongue

Good example of a thread which is wasting people's time here is this one itself. Better lock it before you face more trashing from other members.
7160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to get in and get out in Bear/Bull Markets on: October 31, 2018, 08:41:37 AM
You can follow the signal, when there are many negative news circulating such as a ban, and a massive marketcap drop, and the price weakens, maybe we will face bearish and if the price starts showing more frequent green, maybe its signal that bullish will happen soon, and don't forgot to buy
Its not as simple as you put it. You are getting the news at a time the news has already been bought/sold. Then you are not going to get any profit out of it. People who are day trading are doing it by somewhat technical analysis and some by manipulating or pure speculating. Of course when we receive some news which might move the market we can place orders as per our need but the immediate wrath of the news is felt/enjoyed only by those who are zombie like day traders.

when you want to know a bear or bull market you might be able to see from some trading chart analysis that you are doing, the current condition is still in a bear market, a bull market will probably happen at the end of the year.
Stop making generic bullshit posts to increase your post count. Get a life outside signature spamming.
