7141  Economy / Collectibles / Re: CAS's - HOLD ON or SELLLLLL ????? on: December 08, 2017, 09:25:33 AM
As an investor and strictly an investor; my advice would be to dump.  The coins are cool and will always command a premium but as you've seen; the premium is going down with the rise of bitcoin.  I'd buy the coins all day if the cost is reasonable but the cost when translated to FIAT IS absolutely not worth it at present levels.  If you're looking to make money and are not a collector; go with Bitcoin itself.  If you have money to spare and want to buy a physical coin; then by all means buy the CAS.
The core issue is liquidity;  it's going to take a lot longer to find a qualified, safe buyer of your coin than it is to just sell BTC on an exchange.  Just my .02 and that said, I really want to get a Titan because it just looks cool.

I’m still seeing decent premiums on here and eBay.  They do seem to fluctuate especially on eBay, and it’s certainly hurting more expensive coin premiums, but Like cryptocurrency itself  this hobby is in its infancy. New collectors finding out about this world daily,  especially with all the recent craziness.  I think can help combat this issue, to an extent at least.

I’m an financial guy/investor myself and I get so tired of hearing about a Bitcoin bubble..how is a brand new currency, that maybe 1 or 2% of the worlds current population are familiar, be in a bubble when there’s 98-99% of the worlds population left for new potential investors?  Kinda of like this “bubble talk” this particular hobby is new and has many potential collectors yet to discover it. . Big time auction houses should start to get more and more as cryptocurrency takes off which will assuredly attract wealthier investors / collectors. Little my 2 on seeing the other side. I certainly can see both however.

I am interested in purchasing one of these coins if someone has one available. I’ve never heard of these before now. Looks cool from the few pics I see. PM please!
7143  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Bitcoin knife on: December 08, 2017, 03:05:30 AM

Finally, It is able to reach my home today. Faded colour is due to flash although it's darker then it looks in the pic.

Heavy and Sharp...

Thank you for your feedback!

What would current cost be as I’m definitely interested.

I'm thinking of having only 10 more made, in order for them to be a bit scarce and placing them on an auction, since I don't really know what to price them!

Don't worry though, I'll make more with a different design Smiley

Hoping  you mean another BTC design?  Adding something like serial #’s would be a nice touch in my opinion.

Agreed, Looking to complete a set of these. I don’t know what it is but these things just really stand out.

7145  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] 2011 Brass Casascius Coin - Funded 1 BTC on: December 07, 2017, 09:56:50 PM
Man...I remember when .03 btc difference (1.18 to 1.21) wasn't that big a deal.  But now it's $500-$600.  The old ratios for buying these Casascius and any coins for that matter, are changing fast.  I offered 1.25 btc for a Cas just the other day.  Thank god the seller didn't accept.  That is way too much now.

I’d say the fact that  BTC going to $13k a day ago and it hitting nearly 20k today has something to do with that  Cheesy

Funded ETH, IOTA and Potcoin would all be bad ass!

Someone needs to come out with a platinum coin too.

Kialara (Max) has been contributing to the Deep Ecology Project, donating a portion of his sales to fund HAVEN honeybee hives - which help monitor/conserve & increase the dwindling population ... The goal is a network of 1,000 hives, currently around 50 have been funded/installed, with maybe another 25 currently in the works - so a long ways to go! This is one of my personal favorite environmental projects : deepecologyproject.com

World Wild Life is a charity organization that I often donate to. I would donate an additional .008BTC on top of the gold to either or both organizations.

Great Idea btw
7152  Economy / Collectibles / Re: CAS's - HOLD ON or SELLLLLL ????? on: December 06, 2017, 08:59:58 PM
HODL and regret selling what Cas coins I have sold.
7153  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Kialara scam eBay auction? on: December 06, 2017, 10:37:17 AM
A bear does shit in the woods. This is scam listing for sure.

I'm assuming you've got proof to back those claims....

Pics or the pile of smelly mess is a myth.

Lol Well no one ever sees it but it’s the truth..you just know it  Cheesy

Also I’ve been ebaying since it pretty much opened and this listing all but says it’s for a rich Nigerian prince.

LOL..>I stepped in one once in the woods! Maybe it was an Alien crap! WHo knows.

Chi..your right! Nigerian prince indeed! Grin

Oh so you're one of those people huh? Aliens, Area 51, Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster AND Bear Crap? Come on now conspiracy theories are crazy.

HAHA...It must have been the martians..that's who it was!

   Ebay Kialara up to $425!

I might toss a bid out there, as long as I get covered under paypal buyer protection it might be worth the gamble.

That is the truth. We are all going to feel like asses when you snag it for nothing. However, my moneys on you never getting a whiff of that coin. Unfortunately!
7154  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [GroupBuy] Satori Coins GB for EU/NA/Rest of World [OPEN] on: December 06, 2017, 08:06:29 AM
Can we open up payments? Smiley

I'd really like to keep the window for payments very low and very quickly before we make the order as they are priced in $ and if BTC were to reach $13k overnight I'd get screwed Sad.. But I'll open it up soon enough and give everyone proper time to prepare Smiley.

You’ve got to love that $13k by the AM wouldn’t be that crazy.

Haha for sure.. The times right now are pretty crazy but I kind of like it Smiley.

I f#*cking love it!  It’s a celebration every time BTC breaks its record for me Cheesy

Can I pay with USD for a roll?

Satoricoin only accepts payments in BTC so I will not accept USD payments for this groupbuy. Thank you Smiley.

All rolls updated and/or edited Smiley. Closing in on the 100 rolls really quickly now Cheesy.

Just to help get us to our goal (not because I changed my mind  Cheesy ) can you kindly change my 1 roll to 2 please good sir?
7157  Economy / Collectibles / Re: AUCTION: 2014 Cryptonic pure silver Monero on: December 06, 2017, 12:16:42 AM
You've also got to keep in mind technically this coin could be copied by a skilled mint, and a pretty good copy could be made.  Not being a funded coin with holo's/addresses and what not obviously makes that easier.  It also isn't going to be easily identifyable like a US Fiat coin would be to a trained eye, for ex. No one is trolling though, just a very highly priced item and explaining why it's perhaps overpriced.

Actually, I think it would quite easy to spot a fake. Every cryptonic coin has a unique code engraved on the rim that you can input into the site for verification & will tell you if it's authentic or not. That adds a level of complexity to counterfeiting them, as these codes are not public - afaik only cryptonic21 has full access to them all. I will actually ask him to chime in here on this, as we have discussed it briefly in the past, but yes, in general, of course someone could easily counterfeit anything with the right tools and skills, IMO.

Oh no kidding!...well that’s a different story, and very cool. Sure anything can be faked you’re right but the holos certainly add a level of extra difficulty.  I love this coin and the other one made for it. No idea about the actual crypto currency itself..but  apparently I should look in to it.
