7161  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why again the prices were falling? on: August 09, 2018, 04:05:03 PM
You ask something that anyone does not know the answer to the question, well I will try to answer. price reduction is a natural thing, all you have to do is hold it until the price rises again.
Holding isn't the only thing that he can do but he can also buy while the prices are dropping. There's too much to worry about the price but if you are confident with the market you don't have to think of it all the time.

Fluctuation is normal on this very free market so we can't control it unless you are part of the whales club.
If I bought more bitcoins at that price then I will be in more loss because the price fell almost $1000 again after I created that topic. So that is why I just hold on to that without selling or buying anything.

It is sad to say that I am ot a whale,I am just a normal investor looking to make some money for my needs. Sad
7162  Economy / Reputation / Re: sold accounts bitcointalk on: August 09, 2018, 02:51:27 PM

Possibly sold accounts because of long time post gap and the email address and passwords were changed recently,And also the different style of posting as well beofre that one year gap the user posted mainly at the ANN section but after that most generic posts and tried to join in the bounties.
7163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share your dice strategy on: August 09, 2018, 08:31:54 AM
I am playing dice games for a while not with lot of money just only with small amount so I never followed any strategies here, just click the bet and it will show the win or lose,I don't think these is strategy available in online dice gambling right?
7164  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I have signed up on localbitcoins.com - deposited bitcoins - and can't login. on: August 09, 2018, 06:10:48 AM
Can you get access to the email you put in originally and to the verify link inside of that, if so, I'd verify the email to see if you can reset the password.

When sending somthing to their support, it might have been helpful to send a signed message from the deposit address if you can.
Yes,if he entered the right email address then he received the confirmation email so he can click the link that to verify that,I think it will automatically redirect him to the LBC account without entering passwords.

*You guys need to be very careful while entering passwords related to crypto currency because if you lost it then there maybe no way to recover it so it is necessary to have the backup of passwords, private seeds and also like bitcoin addresses.

Waffle/trollMaster, he got tagged by suchmoon already. you have got what you wanted, He is now tagged for something from 2014. are you happy now?
Yes,I think he got what he wanted because he now changes the signature to some ICO,but now its Jeremypwr turn to troll the waffle master, for more details check this thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4849168.msg43726392#msg43726392
7166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay attention to Bitcoin dominance so not to loose big time on: August 08, 2018, 03:50:14 PM
I really don't concentrate much to the bitcoin dominance because the price of bitcoin moving irrelevant to the dominance level, but as you said the dominance level of bitcoin was at 50% at the end of 2017,so now also nearly the same so we are going to see new all time high on the bitcoin prices.
7167  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ponzi Promotion Jeremypwr on: August 08, 2018, 02:23:52 PM
Well, thanks for your voices guys. I do agree that people knowingly participating in ponzis is bad, very untrustworthy, and very scammy. And this campaign manager has done so, and continues to do similar criminal activities to this day as we can see with his extortion of me to censor myself and also not abiding by deals he's made. Will the community ignore ponzi scam promotion now too? Let's see.

I don't understand what ponzi project is about since it is very long ago I think, but if someone involved in part of promoting the Ponzis then he deserves the red tag,so let the DT member will handle his reputations. Smiley

Yeah, every ponzi promoter has been red tagged by DT to my knowledge. So will they give an exception again to this extortioner? Doesn't really matter how long ago it was if the same behavior patterns are continued to today, repeatedly fucking over honest people and people who love this forum and don't want it to become a shit hole.
But you need enough proof to say that he is promoting scam website or ponzis because there were no scam accusations opened against those sites that he is managing so no DT member will tag him for the current promotions but those those mentioned have the tittle as ponzi then why he had been tagged if he promoted that.

Thanks for sharing, took a screenshot, please tag these accounts Tongue

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=356755

Asmenbtc is also a account seller,
http://archive.is/DadiE

I don't really know about the other accounts, it seems like normal posts to me but they got merited

When we see the time gap between each post got merited then this is clearly a merit abuse but don't know this is alt accounts or not,we need to have more solid proofs for accusing as altaccounts but still we can tag them for the merit abuse anyway. Cheesy

Edit:Maybe the account Kashif009 was bought recently because I can see that the user changed his email and passwrod recently and also wokeup from long inactivity just to send the sMerits available since this is a high ranked account
7170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Common Errors of Trading on: August 08, 2018, 06:53:54 AM
Here are some interesting facts about trading I stumbled across from CryptoCred which I think may be helpful
Common error to avoid when you day trade, I modified some to reflect my own opinion.

1. Revenge trading, trying to get back a trade that has been lost or chasing a trade.

2. Never using a Stop

3. Not having a plan (Risk/Entry/Exit/Stop)

4. Not sticking to your plan

5. Greed — risking too much/not taking profit

6. Being too emotional about a trade.

Plug these equity drains & increase your odds of being profitable.
You could add to the list and make better trades

Yes almost all the points you mentioned were common mistakes made by the trades even if they are experienced enough. But they also have to learn themselves to avoid these mistakes to make more profits, most important thing is not having a strategy or plan will leads to other errors.

I've violated most of those rules being a noob at trading. I just simply follow the buy low and sell high technique. I know I have to step up my trading and have a plan. What plan can you suggest for newbies in trading?
I am not an active trader but still I can suggest you to some basic strategy you need to follow, actually buy low and sell high strategy is enough for the newbies just wait for the time to come if you are a long term trader and never invest more money than you can afford to lose and don't try day trading until you have enough experience since which is very riskier.
I noticed that most of this topics are the same, op didn`t wrote about trading mistakes he wrote about life mistakes. What ever you do in your life you need to be careful or you will hit your head many times and depending how you hit it that much it will hurt.
You need to have strategy, you need to have plan, you need to make good preparation, better prepared you are less mistakes you can make, and even if you make some you need to be ready for them and to have a solution in case something goes wrong.
Those were most common errors made by lot of mistakes so we can consider it as life mistake or trading mistake as you want, strategy and backup plan is very important in trading because as you said anything may goes wrong even if we do it with most perfection. And also the experience will give those the strategies you needed once you got familiar in trading.
7171  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Just got scammed by a "Legendary" member ! on: August 07, 2018, 04:30:38 PM
Dude got his wall painted in red and that's the point of the scam accusation forum. thanks to everyone who helped in the painting process  Grin , i hope that he's now a more OBVIOUS scammer.

I think so too. Don't you see his red TRUST?
Not all the time you can't consider someone as a scammer after seeing the red paint because it has gives for so many reason so you need to read the trust rating and also the reference link to identify the scammer or maybe some other reason.Initiallt the user stinger has give ret trust for merit abuse so we can't consider him as scammer but now he has scammed someone so the appropriate link will be added by the DT member to mark him as scammer.

7174  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far is 50k bitcoin? on: August 07, 2018, 09:56:55 AM
In my opinion it still takes more that two years to reach that price maybe we will hit that in 2020.But now don't predict that much price since we are very early to do this kind of prediction so better predict when we will hit new ATH. Grin
7175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best exchange ? on: August 07, 2018, 07:11:26 AM
Hello i am newbie here and i am newly trader can someone give some information which exchange is the best for buying altcoins ?
It depends on which altcoin you are going to buy since the price varies from exchange to exchange and also you need to consider about the trading fee which might high in some exchange. As far I know Binance is one of the good exchange in terms of support and the fee structure and it also never hacked I think.
7176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why again the prices were falling? on: August 06, 2018, 05:45:15 PM
Now the prices fluctuating at the normal rate under 5% for a while so which is the actual price? So I made the mistake at the high prices that the actual one but I am just waiting for the upcoming ETF results maybe we can see another bump. Smiley
7177  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where do you report or review scam sites? on: August 06, 2018, 02:08:50 PM
Just at the scam accusation section of our forum because most of the scam projects or site will get caught there but even after they tagged most of the people are getting scammed by them because most of the forum users even don't know the existence of that section.

That's the reason we are giving all information, so no one get scammed again, if they see this thread and all information.

so let's hope we are going to help someone to avoid get scammed.
That is why the trust system is in use,but sometime I am worrying that people were scammed again even after they have been tagged, maybe many people don't know the trust system as well.Or they just login to the forum as guest user where they cannot see the trust rating of the person.
7178  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where do you report or review scam sites? on: August 06, 2018, 07:51:23 AM
Where do you report or review scam sites?

There is some ways I know, like mywot, and sitejabber and some forums, but those two has browser extension and supported in chrome, so each site you visit you will know the rating and view reviews, so .. what about you?

7179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was the cryptocurrency world wrong to trust big media/big investors? on: August 06, 2018, 06:12:23 AM
It seems that before big media and big investors got involved in cryptocurrency, things were much better.  Then came along these fake ICOs that were completely different than coins like NameCoin, Steem, Syscoin, Bitbean, and all these other beautiful creations with great teams.  The fake ICO's diluted not only the public sentiment, people who were just getting involved and got burned, but many long term players.  Now we wait for the floor to rise on the good real old altcoins, and with the Fake Coins and Fake Support (big media/big investors) nothing is happening with the real ones.

For that people eed to improve their knowledge about crypto currencies in finding out the real usage of that coin which get worth or not in future then this will help a lot to avoid the useless ICOs and fake ICOs then the coins with good teams will get succeed. But they need to have patience even the bitcoin has seen tough sitations so getting success is not a easy task.
7180  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why again the prices were falling? on: August 04, 2018, 01:00:20 PM
It's hard to find the reason why bitcoin falls, but it's obvious the market is very weak and the confidence in the market is getting weaker.

I think people should stop looking for reasons and accept that the demand is gone. If it wasn't the ETF speculation somewhat holding the price up we would be testing newer lows already, and we might still. Instead of focusing on price increases start focusing on spending Bitcoin and using it for a wide variety of other things. Less speculation helps keeping the fees low and should incentivize people transact more. That being said, I'm probably talking to a wall and no one will bother to pay attention anyway since people's hope for a bull run remains relatively strong and won't vanish unless we start tanking....
I too hope that bitcoin will be used for what it meant for but for now it is most considered as an asset or an investment over currency purely because of the speculations.Everybody knows that we can make money from speculating the bitcoins so they won't leave opportunities to make money with it,since humans were the most greediest animal on the earth.I am not the active trader I just wan to minimize the loss in some way because I bought some of it at more higher prices.
