7161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest issue with Bitcoin wallets? on: December 17, 2021, 06:44:20 PM
(multicoin/multi-asset wallets included)

3. What's your favourite wallet and why? Is it the user interface / user experience, colors, specific functionality, habit, perceived trustworthiness, something else?

To me, blockchain wallet and trusty wallet remains my most preferred wallets as blockchain wallet give a relatively low network fees option compared to other Bitcoin wallets, and trust wallet on the other hand offers the multi-chain options which can store several coins across different chains.
7162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fed To decide the future of assets purchasing 14th December on: December 17, 2021, 06:35:10 PM
The Crypto market shade off quite a huge amount in its trading price in the early hours of today we saw how Bitcoin lose almost $1500 off it the previous price which goes a long way to show how the news has not been able to stop the bear market, we remain optimistic that in the coming day's Bitcoin will recover and the fed decision will have a positive impact on the entire market.
7163  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything you wanted to know about ES Volcano Bond and were afraid to ask! on: December 17, 2021, 05:30:50 PM
Indeed this thread is quite different from my previous thread, which was aimed at breaking the news of the first bitcoin city, this thread is rich with wider information on the El Salvador Bitcoin city. Am glad to see the details I have been searching for on this thread.

The best advice is to add discretion to all your decision it doesn't matter if you are a trading margin or spot trading and binance messaging its clients is a way to promote their new features but in all don't get too greedy stick to what works for you.
7165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitmart to reimburse $200 million to customer on: December 16, 2021, 03:52:10 PM
Oh, yes, they will reimburse the victims just as Mt. Gox, Cryptopia, Livecoin, and other hacked centralized exchanges will also reimburse their clients of lost funds. You know the story. Well, $200 million is probably not that huge and the company could very well refund all their victims down to the last Satoshi but I do hope it will not take forever. And, surely, every single client will have to prepare their personal information to be submitted to the very exchange that failed to protect their money.
You are right timing is of utmost importance because before the team will conduct an audit to know how much the hacker took from each wallet and coming out will deposits back to their client I guess it will take up to a week or so. Don't know if the customers are reimburse.
7166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scientific analysis on the contribution of lost Bitcoin to holders on: December 16, 2021, 03:47:14 PM
Lost Bitcoin is only estimated by UTXOs but as estimation it can be inaccurate.

Bitcoin which was lost no matter how much it is, is gift for all of us, if we are holding Bitcoin. It is what satoshi mentioned years ago and it is proven to be true so far.

When time passes, more Bitcoin will be lost and it combines with bigger demand, you will have less Bitcoin for each people on Earth. Price will be higher as supply and demand and with support from social media. People will have more demand and more fomo to buy Bitcoin.
Now that lost bitcoin is a donation to all the bitcoin holders, what is the possibility that it will ever get mined by minner is there any periodic forking that allows such unused Bitcoin to get into the unmined bitcoin.
7167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Scientific analysis on the contribution of lost Bitcoin to holders on: December 16, 2021, 08:59:30 AM
The concept of Bitcoin and the Satoshi idea for its creation, apart from serving as a digital currency also have interest generating tendency that is was referred is refer to as digital gold and a store of brings
This brings us to the topic: Lost Bitcoin
Lost Bitcoin are bitcoins that are locked forever or you this are coins that are lost with the private keys to the wallet unrecoverable, what impact does this has on the Bitcoin network and price since the coins are lost forever there will not be activities from the wallet holding so the network does t get congested because its activities and also the total Bitcoin supply will be reduced which bring scarcity.
So in totality when the available supply is limited and the demand increase the holders of Bitcoin gain interest so the price system of bitcoin work just like every other system with various features
7168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitmart to reimburse $200 million to customer on: December 14, 2021, 04:32:00 PM
bad news/good news ? Bitmart security can be hacked?  is it possible to be trusted again in the future? such incidents hit a hard on investors views security in the global crypto market  I fear there will be a drastic downturn scenario ! how can we see a good future if there is always news because of hacking? fortunately I always follow the words of the master in here "don't leave your assets on the exchange for a long time"
Even binance which is a world 1st class exchange has been hacked on several not but the most important thing is for the team to have safu funds that can cover the user's loss just like insurance.
For bit smart to have taken this step to pay for users lost its show they committed to the rules.
7169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Fed To decide the future of assets purchasing 14th December on: December 14, 2021, 03:02:13 PM
So many Bitcoin traders are now lineup waiting to see the information that will be conveyed by the fed on the 14th of December 2021 as many analysts have predicted could see its last day of a downside,
The fed will give updated information on asset purchases a form of quantitative easing for both Bitcoin and other traditional assets.

7170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin investment on: December 14, 2021, 05:58:26 AM
The most promising investment right now is of course altcoins, high profit opportunities are something that we deserve to try, especially after farming and staking that can get APR of up to 75% of course makes us no longer hesitate to invest in altcoins.
What are the potential tokens to farm at the moment that give a guarantee profits in the nearest future am looking to invest some funds into farming a potential token and don't have anyone at the moment?
7171  Economy / Gambling / Re: betflip.io does not pay me even my deposit amount on: December 14, 2021, 05:52:49 AM
Betflip have already existing scam accusations against them already, it is more difficult to contact them on the forum since they don't have an admin on this forum and no official thread of betflip on the forum. So other members of the forum should take note and avoid betflip for now.
7172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the fundamental tool for economic liberation/independence on: December 14, 2021, 12:47:01 AM
Your topic OP seems very ambiguous.
I have to read over the topic severely before I was able to comprehend the massage, Liberation is an ambiguous word, and that using it in the context of financial freedom may deviate our attention from the main context of the thread which is Bitcoin as an economic mechanism against the third party system in financial dealing.
7173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitmart to reimburse $200 million to customer on: December 14, 2021, 12:08:06 AM
I received an email from bitemark on the 5th of December informing me about an attack on its got wallet which is hosted in two blockchains Bianca smart chain and Ethereum blockchain. As a result of that a total of $200 million worth of assets ranging from Bitcoin, baby don't, and some other coin. The news of the reimbursement came as a great relief to victims.
they will reimburse that money? I seem to see a strange scenario here, they are like doing a drama to attract the sympathy of others that their exchange is a responsible exchange.

if you have a large enough capital do not trade on exchanges that do not have a good reputation, you better trade your btc on DEX.
They are not acting like any dreamer mate, most of those exchanges such as Binance have what is called safu funds these funds are mainly for hack accidents, but your advice is correct not to keep money on exchange but what if the funds are for trading and other activities you need the exchange for?

7175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitmark to reimburse $200 million to customer on: December 13, 2021, 07:18:59 PM
Not your keys, not your bitcoin.

There’s a reason this phrase became so commonly used in cryptoland. Too many people get comfortable leaving their assets on third party exchanges. Why leave your money in anybody else’s control?
You should only transfer coins to online platforms when you plan to sell them. Do not leave your money in anybody else’s control.

There are too many stories of people losing their money, it’s sad.
Very correct exchange wallets are not reliable and are always prone to attacks because the wallet is custodial so the security system is always under attack, you should hold your money in a none custodial wallet with your private keys saved and secured by you.

Good to see that you got a copper member am kind of confused about your last post, you may want to clarify what you mean by no wagering bonus and the 125 free spin you mentioned is it given on every first-time deposit in respective of any amount deposited?
7178  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: December 12, 2021, 06:50:14 PM
Since the hot wallets of both, some have been refilled and everything working well it indicates one thing which is to show that LightLord is fully working towards meeting the need of the customer and trying to keep the platform working despite his old age and ill-health so I will advise we give home more time to fully recover.
Which wallet? Because I check on their thread and @CB mention this page on their DM between @CB and @lightlord

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5088856.msg58201409#msg58201409

And those wallets for Bidvest and 777coins are still not refilled yet. It is waiting for the next info from @lightlord.

The campaign still pauses until now and the thread of that campaign is not active anymore until @lightlord contacts @CB later. Hopefully, there is a clear situation for both campaigns.
I believe the wallet the guy is talking about is the gambling site got a wallet and it is the wallet that holds all funds that will be used to settle all winning from both sites, I have an account on bitvest and I make deposits and can also withdraw my funds from the site some few days back unless there is another latest development from recent happenings in the site.
7179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hash rate returned to its All-time high on: December 12, 2021, 06:41:45 PM
A harsh rate has a considerable effect on the price
another short for you.
if all mining on the planet increased to where the cost of even the cheapest place on the planet to mine became $100k. the market price would be way over $100k and would if there was a dip plateau at or above $100k.
the base value of the last 3 months has been over $30k-$39k and the price has never dipped below that
What an informative comment but the quoted paragraph will lead us to my comment, in your own opinion and according to the context of your writing you made it clear that the price of bitcoin does not rely on the hash rate and you went further to give a clear figurative analysis of bitcoin past market price and movement, what ate your takes on the outcome of bitcoin future price considering it present harsh rate and its potential effects on the entire market.

Can you bypass the restrictions through VPN, pretty sure that you can probably find a workaround to help you with your problem, find solutions first before ranting about stuff, it won't get you anywhere.
Advising the op to use VPN may not be the best advice as the use of VPN may be prohibited by the admin of the site and that could result in a ban of the account in the future which will end up in a loss for the user.
