The AMD RX6950XT could be the 3090Ti we all want, the best high end GPU from Nvidia that I like for mining is 3080s, I don't want the 3090s because they are unstable, you gain 120+ MH mining and after minutes the hashrate goes down, if 6950XT can beat 3090ti like what I heard then this might be the most powerful single GPU for mining.
the 3090 is perfectly stable at 107-112 mh

The ones that aren't at full hash rate, they're lot LHR cards by any chance are they?
I have 2 6800 XT of which one works at 62,5mhs and the other works at 55,2mhs. They are identical, so the issue is in the splitter for sure. well not for sure but likely. Proper test is run just 1 card one the mobo and check its rate. then run the other card on the mobo check its rate. both should do close to 62 it is the only way to be sure there is not a card issue. if you determine it is a card issue you deal with it differently than if it is a mobo issue. My guess is the mobo or the splitter is the problem. But if it is a card you will go nuts if you buy a new mobo and a new splitter and get same shitty results I asked the mods to move this to altcoins

So we nearly touched $35k, revenue per TH went under 15 cents again, the difficulty still shows a trend of over 4.5%, at least it's weekend and sunny outside. And one more piece of good news, cheap miners, you can get right now your favorite S19 95th from Bitmain for only $6,745 , shipping in 10 days, and only 450 to ROI with zero cost electricity. Or the brand new S19 XP Hydro with a 500 days ROI , but you'll have to wait till January 2023. I can't wait to see what they will plan to offer for delivery in 2024 just before the halving ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Power doesn't seem to be limited over there, money isn't limited either, it seems like the only real bottleneck here would be the manufacturing speed, current hashrate estimation is 223EH, a 5% increase is 11.15EH, which translates to nearly 111,000 S19 pros, to make and deploy that amount of gears is unsustainable IMO, we will have to slow down very soon, but we will never stop growing.
Percentage-wise it might be unsustainable, in terms of added hashes probably it will keep bumping like that for a few months every time there is a batch of gear delivered to some big buyer. There are still close to 7 of those hops alone from contracts that have been made public for this year so it's going to be a fun ride. I wonder what's the average price at which those companies actually lose money on operations alone. For the average S19 running at 5 cents per kWh electricity is 25% of the revenue right now, I wonder how much are the other costs, maintenance, security, electricity cost for cooling, and so on assuming a 1k or 5k miner operation. the real question is how much flare gas is available in North Dakota South Dakota Texas and the pipeline shut down in PA these are four areas that could drop in 1 container for mining and 1 container for generators. Since the first three states were burning the gas that comes from drilling oil and getting fined that are not paying four that fuel that was burned off. I e 1000 cubic feet flare burn = say a 1 dollar fine 1000 cubic feet burned for mining = 10 cent tax. so they get paid for the fuel used or the expense of the fuel used it reduced 90% plus they collect for the coins they earn. as for PA pipeline shut down by biden I am not sure how it would work if they hook into it at the source and burn that gas without shipping it. Basically a huge theft by the government and home ever owns that pipeline (note this is speculation in the pipe case)

We are 50% through the fourth #Bitcoin Epoch! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FJdkwA1c.jpg&t=663&c=goEZcmKsNntpFg) 50% of Blocks have been mined since last halving. 105,000 to go! Expected halving date: 3 May 2024! Kinda near my birthday ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I expect big things from the fallout of the next halving. I dunno if our last bull run was diluted due to the fall out from what COVID did to the world economy. We did not have a blow off top like after previous halving’s. I really think $250,000+ will be the price of 1 BTC at some point in 2025 (obviously it always takes a while for the supply shock to take effect on the price post halving). We will get the fireworks that we were promised in 2021. Now is a good time to buy but I am waiting for lower with a large stack of fiat. Regarding the bottom, it seems that we have 3 higher lows 28K, 34K and 37K. Unless WW3 starts, I don't see how this trend will be broken and 30K revisited. The bad news is that despite the supply shock, the derivate market remains a major threat to any significant price increase. When it will be enough to overcome the gravity of the derivates is hard to predict. Wall Street and SEC are doing everything possible to suffocate the price. I'm sure that 100K and then 300K will come at some point, but may be not so soon. yeah they will keep us in the 28.8-69.8 slot as long as possible.

- Ruble keeps rising against other currencies whilst Europe promises to buy less Russian energy and ultimately switch it all off.
- Inflation out of control in the UK, nearing 10% soon, interest rates rise again but they are still low.
- No signal the west is going to delay its green policy fantasy. Too much money is being scammed I bet.
- Mass Ukrainian offensive against Russia, using the given / loaned / bought weapons from the west won't happen till midway through June.
Bitcoin probably won't rise under these circumstances I reckon, even though it should as it is the only flight to safety for assets in an environment where the governments have basically decided you should all be poorer because our policies come first.I used to like you til the war. But to be fair I do agree with what I bolded.

Do you never read the newspapers?
Fuck no. Why? Do you? Winner winner chicken dinner. Newspaper have but one purpose to a thinking man, and that is to read between the lines, what they do not say is just as important as what they do say, and what they do say is to be analysed , and dissected for the underlaying narrative being pushed... and then , with a context of the historical understanding of the situation, decoded. The actual words they print are generally 99% bulllllllshit...... .....and I am a little surprised that anyone in this thread does not get that yet. Nonsense - snip Please check out "Gell-Mann amnesia" and "Knolls law" Realise that journalists are generally jacks of all trades and masters of non, not to mention that "journalism" has fallen a long way, and that much of the trash that makes it to "print" these days, either online or on paper, or that is rattled off on screen/radio, is woke infested trash spewed by junior interns at one shitty hack rag and then regurgitated by all the others.... ..... and that is of course if it makes it past the editors, who of course, often, HAVE THEIR ORDERS FROM THEIR SPECIFIC GOVERNMENTS, as to what they can say, and cannot say, what they want them to say, not say, what breeches national security , what is gagged, what their sponsors/advertisers are sensitive to, what the media organisations OWNERS want them to say, what the lawyers have given the go ahead to release etc etc. If you think that the media is not used to propagate and disseminate whatever the narrative of the day is by governments and corporations globally, then, I dunno what to tell you. It is a curious fact that you can point to propaganda in history, and people can recognise it, but that people seem to think that propaganda is just something that "used to happen" or that "happens to other people" and then fail to recognise that they are also subjected to propaganda , and that propaganda is very much alive and well and kicking and all around them, all the time TODAY. "Newspapers" are NOTHING more than another "source" , and the information given by them is to be treated as such, dissected, decoded, taken into context, both historical context, and of the broader subject matter that have synergy with the topic(s) in question. If you see something in "the newspapers" and automatically believe it , without any critical thinking, or background understanding, or context..... then you are doing it wrong. And yes, being able to spot what is NOT being said, is just as important as reading what IS being said (which makes having historical context of the subject matter all the more important) Please be better, this is rudimentary stuff. ps- Also, in this 24/7 news cycle we now live in, as the quantity of "newses" has gone up, the quality has gone down, and these rags are all so hungry and desperate to keep up with each other, and the news cycle, that nowadays even tweets=newsworthy. lol pps, let alone Gell-mann amnesia, when it comes to the news, people just seem to have fucking straight up amnesia.... which is hilarious, I mean how many lies, and false narratives, cheap shots, and mistakes, and propaganda do they have to feed people, before people think.... huh fool me once shame on you , fool me twice shame on me. Good post. Here is a perfect example of modern media including newspapers ignoring some really important info. Why do only 1 in a thousand people die from covid in Hawaii and Vermont and about 4 in a thousand die in ten worst states. This info is never talked about by anyone but me which is weird since it is true and suggests that there is a better way to fix covid than vaccines. I can give you the answer 200 mill people vaccinate 4 times than 2 times a year comes to 1.2 billion shots at 20 a piece is 24 billion bucks Treating a sick person with a week of antiviral pills means maybe 20 million bottles of pills at 20 a bottle means 400 million bucks. All the facts are true and pretty much perfectly viable yet they are not presented by media. BTW both Hawaii and Vermont are heavily gay and lead the nation in percent of people taking aids anti virals. No lies just true numbers. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FEuNnpPK.png&t=663&c=VxU--B_VYdWRiQ) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Frspc4JN.png&t=663&c=Uq0hA68HmkKV-Q) and I was a pro vax guy that did do 3 vaxes. but the numbers above are not made up just ignored everywhere I have looked. if price is too high for you buy two PSU like 1000watts x2, yes its possible to run two PSU on one motherboard
Usually I buy a 400 or 500w ATX PSU for just the MOBO, then as many HP DPS-750RB server PSUs as I need. Each one can feed 2 RTX 3080's, 4 RX 6800's or 5 RTX 3060's. The breakout boards will have enough cables so that I don't need to buy 6-pin splitter adapters. can you recommend a server PSU that that is silent enough to be used in an apartment ? believe it or not my GPUs are kept super silent at 60-70% fan speed and cool in AC Air Conditioning and my PSUs are SILENT as am living in an apartment and cant afford something super noisy in here... thanks, The ant miner https://www.ebay.com/itm/154977341362?it will do 2000 watts on 220 volt power and is quite quiet. BTW I picked that ebay seller at random the psu has 14 six pin pcie cables IIRC and no other cable.

Could you grow enough food to feed yourself and your family if you wanted to—or needed to?Gardening is often pitched as a relaxing, therapeutic activity—and it is relaxing and therapeutic! But it’s also a sign of how advanced society has become that we can regard growing food as a charming hobby instead of an absolute necessity. On the one hand, that’s a clear sign of mankind’s mastery over the world. On the other, it’s left us remarkably dependent on a system of farming and delivery logistics that has been shown to be distressingly fragile. Anyone who has ever successfully grown a tomato plant in their backyard has wondered if they could go “off-grid,” grow their own food, and be done with their local supermarket. The answer is yes, but that’s the wrong question. The question isn’t whether it’s possible—the question is how. It’s all about the logistics: How much space do you need to grow enough crops to feed you and your family? Math will help you figure this one out. Calculate the necessary square footageIf you’ve only ever gardened for fun, or to supplement your store-bought groceries with some tasty home-grown treats, you might not be aware of just how much space is required to feed someone. You may have noticed that family farms are kind of large, and there’s a very good reason for that (though some of that space was traditionally given over to livestock and draft animals). Estimates vary. Different crops require different amounts of space, for example, and some gardening gurus estimate you’d need at least 4,000 square feet per person, with more space allotted for stuff like lanes between crops. Most of us don’t have 4,000 square feet to dedicate to gardening, but you probably don’t need quite that much as long as you’re efficient. A good rule of thumb is that you need about 200 square feet per person for a self-sustaining garden. So if you’re a family of four, figure you’ll need about 800 square feet, or a space about 20x40 or 10x80. That’s ... still a lot of space, especially if you’re in an urban setting. The key is planning your garden out, because different crops take up different amounts of space, and if you’re going to live off of those crops you have to include a wide variety of plants for nutritional completeness. Your garden will need to include these: - Proteins. If you’re going to survive on a garden, you won’t be eating meat. While nuts are an excellent source of protein, nut trees take up a lot of space, so make sure you plant beans. Growing lima beans on poles will require about six square feet of garden per person. Snap beans will take about 10 square feet and soybeans will eat up about 30 square feet.
- Carbohydrates. You’ll need some starch in your diet. The good news is that you have a lot of options. Beans will pull double duty here, in fact. Potatoes will require about 25 square feet per person, corn will require about 30 square feet per person, squash will need about six square feet, and peas need about eight square feet.
- Vitamins. A complete diet requires a load of nutrients beyond protein and carbs, so plan on including stuff like spinach (eight square feet per person), broccoli (eight square feet), kale (one square foot), or cabbage (10 square feet).
- Fruits. You can live on vegetables alone, but having some fruits is a great idea. Melons are great (six square feet per person), as are pumpkins (10 square feet), strawberries (10 square feet), and watermelons (six square feet).
- Medicinals & Spices. Some plants don’t offer much nutritional value, but make life a lot better by providing seasoning or health benefits. Some examples include cilantro (one square foot per person), garlic (four square feet), onions (eight square feet), and mustard (two square feet).
If you grow every plant we just discussed for a family of four, you’d need a garden space of approximately 754 square feet of garden—so the 200 square-foot rule tracks pretty well. Here are the caveats to surviving on your own foodThere are a few caveats here, or aspects of a survival garden you really need to think about before you decide that just because your backyard is precisely 200 square feet you’ll be able to pull this off. First of all, the list above isn’t comprehensive and only included a few examples. You might want things like carrots, okra, or cauliflower. This garden size calculator will give you some idea of how much square footage each crop requires. When planning your garden, the main rule is this: Grow stuff you want to eat. Growing food you despise is no way to live. Other things to consider: - Variety. Keep in mind that growing just enough food to survive on will wear on you over time. Sure, you could go full Mark Watney and try to live on potatoes alone (and you just might be able to with some supplements thrown in), but if you think entering year two of nothing but potatoes won’t be depressing, you’re kidding yourself. Keep in mind that variety is the spice of life, and diet variety will require more square footage.
- Seeds. Make sure you always select open pollinated seeds so you can recover seeds from your crops and re-plant.
- Spoilage. Growing food is a battle against nature. The moment your crops start to grow, hungry things will show up to eat them in the middle of the night, bugs will nest in them, and diseases will somehow find them. You’re going to need a margin of error if you’re going to live off your garden—and you will likely need a year or two to figure out what not to do and make adjustments to your plan.
- Design. There are many ways to lay out and manage a survival garden. Square foot gardens use raised beds and a grid system to maximize space, keyhole gardens are drought-resistant, and homestead gardens utilize a farm-like layout (and require more space). When planning a survival garden, look at the space you have and consider what kind of garden design will maximize your yield.
A survival garden can bring a lot of relief to your pocketbook and a lot of independence to your life—if you have the necessary space. Hey, no one said going off-grid was easy. https://lifehacker.com/how-much-garden-you-would-need-to-100-survive-on-1848829190 .... This source claims an average of 200 square feet needed to produce adequate food for 1 person. Which conflicts with many claiming its impossible to grow sufficient food on 1 acre of land, which is 43,560 square feet. I think it assumes the usage of chemical fertilizers, which are increasing in price due to them being manufactured from natural gas. While it may be possible to grow food in a reasonably small space, the dollar cost of soil, dirt, containers, compost, seeds, plants, mulch. And the man hours of care necessary could make the bar to entry prohibitive for many. Money, experience and time appear to be the largest obstacles to solve for the world to fully embrace independent & organic food production. Frankly you need chickens that lay eggs 🍳. And many places wont let you have chickens. I am a diabetic and need high protein low carb. depending on what doctor you listen to maybe 25% of the human race needs high protein low carb diet. I have 6000 feet to grow if I want. I grow basil , figs , tomatoes 🍅. Oregano. Maybe use 300 feet to grow.

You will earn a lot more if you can just mine Ethereum to viabtc and exchange the ETH to XEC on the CoinEX exchange, get a 3080 RTX, this GPU will give you 3.7$ per day and that's the exact amount for 50,000 XEC right now, you will burn less electricity for this.
0.00007 x 50,000 = 3.5$ using 250watt
Except that buying all the parts for the rig are not factored in. 3080 fe for about 1000 mobo and the rest = 200 so 1200 to do it. If he has a s15 cost = 0 s15 power 900 21.6 kwatts gpu rig power = 300 not 250 as the rest of the rig uses 50 so 7.2 kwatts 14 kwatt difference at 10 cents $1.40 1200/1.40 = 857 day difference. If he mines for 100 days he is at 5,000,000 coins But I had the s15 in hand and used it to mine xec vs btc If he is buying the s15 it costs more than the rig you mention.
So you would be correct. For me I had the gear and just mined it.
