Eventually, Yes. Anytime soon, No. Because the way technology is moving right now, its not that hard to believe that something better will be created in the future, so yes it will be replaced one day for sure, as history has taught us that everything will eventually die out no matter how good. But it is true that you don't see that happening any time soon. Yes the life cycle is limited for each and everything in this world and even bitcoin will die someday or will get replaced by something new and innovative technology in near future but as of now I think bitcoin is safe and moving in a positive direction. Well, I guess it's good to back an investment that has been doing really great and that is bitcoin, however if you still believe that there is a chance it will replace, I guess it's good to consider altcoins that are popular now such as Ethereum and Monero, and I'm sure there are a lot more you can find out there. |

I think they are already using it right now everyone are free to use bitcoin and it has no restrictions whether its for illegal purposes or not no one cant stop using it since its decentralized and no one control it, even altcoins maybe use by terrorist and who cares its very easy to use after-all.
It doesn't mean that because we are using bitcoin it would already give us the protection to hide illegal activities online, that will only happen temporarily as the government has all the resources and if they will make an effort against illegal transactions, they could trace them. If it's untraceable, they would have ban this system because it's a big threat to them, but it's not happening and in fact we are growing now. |

This is an interesting discussion but I think we will get there on time, bitcoin is growing and it will surely grow in the future. I would not limit my imagination for now, the only basis of my prediction in the future is based on the increasing number of transactions on a daily basis and it significantly increase compared to the past years. Bitcoin system should be able to compete with them in time and it will happen soon, let's watch for that the development is going on and looks fast.

I agree, might not be easy to stop gambling, but for a better future then we must immediately stop gambling now. Many others positive activities to avoid gambling like sports, social and more.
Of course that it is not easy to do that, but i don't think that you should stop gambling just to "think about your family", as you can still gamble and love your family. Most of gamblers lose their families because they lose all their money, but it is easy to stop that if you aren't addicted to gambling, just think how much money you can lose ( just in case you lose everything) and you will be fine. i agree with the point that if a person want to continue to gamble and also care for his family then it is not bad to continue gambling. He have to spend a smaller time in gambling and then continue to concentrate for the better future of their family and for their facilitated life. That's true. My favorite gambling game is slot machine, there are so many different ones, with so good graphics and nice bonuses, great prizes. Oh one more, the government could trace it, if you have stuffs that needs to be paid they will take it there without your consent. That is how banks work with the officials. Is that cool? NO! That is stealing. If you could prove that bank officials are corrupt I would agree with your statement, banks are operating based on the banking laws and that law was created to serve and protect the depositors. I do not think in any way that banks will steal as per your term but freeze in real term without any valid reason, I'm pretty sure they do that in compliance with the law and if one government agencies issues a freeze order against you and usually it's the AMLC. |

bitcoin is not so strong enough in case of security and it can be hacked as it happen during the bitfinex attack. well the bitcoin is so strong that it can run without any government people and it can totally by itself for the world to keep going.
it is not about bitcoin, it is because bitfinex security system is not good enough and hackers attacked and change all the address. Dont blame Bitcoin, it is very good right now. If you do not like Bitcoin, you can change to another type of currency That's completely correct, exchange sites are more prone to hacking because it is where a lot of money are stored, and because of that people lose their money not because of their negligence but because of a certain site.
