Well, that rules me out of being an idealist if I'm not an early adopter. Doesn't sounds like I'm an opportunist either, since I don't trade, and really I just earn what I can, spend what I must, and then save whatever's left. And spend that whenever the need arises.
That makes me a faithist. I don't exactly buy either, but since I do try to earn as much as possible in Bitcoin, and none of the market movements either direction really flutters my heart, I guess that's most accurate.
Think there're more faithists on the forum than anything else really. Idealists have moved on and opportunists ain't got no time for forum chatting.

Don't worry ralle14, it seems like he hedged his bets and won. Probably on the main card with Dillanshaw. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) As you can see in your picks for the multimaster challenge you had only a few wrong such as maverick and costa but won it. So congratulations on your free bet from the competition. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Thank you and indeed! I do hedge a LOT in my betting, and it's worked out pretty well for me so far. Also now, with SB giving promos and all these free predictor games, another awesome way to hedge. Betting one way, hedging with predictors for prizes. I'm definitely going to enjoy the 2mbtc -- see if I can put it on a very early UFC acca with a final leg on Liverpool opening game for a nice fat boost;) I'll be sure to share if when I win big;)

Oops;) But 3 out of 5 on a big leg ain't bad, right? Shall we make another mess out of the same 5-leg accas at Sportsbet? With UCL qualification games tonight, I don't see why not. 100 units boosted, insured at Sportsbet on Gamba Osaka, Dinamo Zagreb, Legia Warsawa, Malmo, Fluminense to WIN @26.98. Other odds: 23.20 Units advantage: 378 Running advantage after 421 bets: +28,808 (+378) All-time cumulative: +67,106 Running units after 420 bets (63W|357L): +11,078 (-100)

Right, so, Tsitsipas to finally stumble next, easy money right? I know it's bad to bet against a guy who keeps tripping but this is the same guy (Tiafoe) who smashed him out absolutely just a month ago.
So I didnt bet on him and he wins in straight sets on a hard court. He could be back on track and one to watch for the semi's and final. Could be, hard to tell, came across a headline that he was the first Greek to win at Olympics for a really long time so that bit of news actually came across as a surprise to me. Not that I can name Greeks off the top of my head right now but you sort of imagine the birthplace of Olympics would have quite a few tennis players. Now wouldn't it be amazing if he ended up getting a chance at revenge against Djokovic in the final? Does the route make that possible? Can't tell from how it's all set up now.

Is this a normal situation? I just see for the first time that within a minute 12 players in two teams were replaced at once. And this is a push, 5 goals and 5 corners, [Hurray, the average bitcoin price has crossed the $ 40,000 mark] ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) That's just a half time sub. Very normal, non-competitives or friendlies are "anything goes as long as both coaches agree". I've seen entire teams subbed even on some friendlies, two completely different 11s from one team taking each half. Tricky to judge how serious these games can be, but you can usually tell from the line up, and the quality of the opposition -- though Las Palmas is pretty "big"mid-table team from the 2nd-tier league in Spain.

Oh man, wish I knew how to make memes (I probably could stitch one together but can I blame age and a lack of good quality creative time?). Crazy prize to win man, to just be there watching Saints v Hornets. Hope it ends up being someone from our tiny group of SB addicts.
But definitely, the whole "derby" deserves a meme, or ten, or twenty. Should at least get people loads of merits;)

So to move away from Croatians... Um so, yeah, I'm not having good luck with even Olympic betting. Barty killed my accas, then next Swiatek, so I'm definitely leaving women's tennis alone unless Osaka AND Nishikori win next one on straight sets to give me some of my losses back.
I told myself not to bet...
Right, so, Tsitsipas to finally stumble next, easy money right? I know it's bad to bet against a guy who keeps tripping but this is the same guy (Tiafoe) who smashed him out absolutely just a month ago.

I'm inclined to think this momentum should carry us over 40k (at last, after some worrying weeks) but it'll probably need a couple more bumps up before succeeding.
The only concern is that every failure will be seen as seller strength and this confidence can evaporate quite quickly if we don't see short-term results.
Not that it changes the end game of 100k most bulls are eyeing this year.

Same as we always should have. By taking responsibility for our own security. More than ever now, with all kinds of interconnected apps. If your password is weak, change it. If you're sharing a device and connection, closewall it. Especially with Bitcoin/crypto, if you're not the only one with access, sweep funds to a clean device, clean wallet, where you're the sole person able to control it.
Hacks shouldn't serve as a validator for these practices. Merely reminders of how vulnerable we are if we trust our security to someone else.

Easy straight set wins for Nishikori and Osaka today? Edit, got my dates wrong with timezones, tomorrow I guess. I think 35/10 is a good bet, home team behind them (no crowds, but you know, spiritually and all that). If I'm not mistaken, the last meeting of the senior teams of Germany and Saudi Arabia at the World Championship ended with a score of 11-0 ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) so this result can really be considered unexpected. As for the Japanese team, this minimal victory is quite normal - the adult team of Japan is strong enough and has some winning traditions (Asian Cup). I'm predicting a Germany easy win as well, but also taking a small bet on Saudis to somehow make their size and aggression count. They have been slowly gaining some technical abilities over the past 8 years, them Gulf nations, and Qatar is a showcase of that (plus some nostalgia of Saudi national team from the 2000s for me personally).

Man, so close, and yet so far. Lost 0-1 but Aussies defended like hell and couldn't register a single shot on goal, so well-deserved win for the European lasses. Football is returning soon, and the signs are already there, so we'll be ending this season soon with the EPL Community Shield kicking off the new season. Today, another 5-leg acca: 100 units boosted, insured at Sportsbet on Corinthians, Juventude, Heilongjiang, Pyramids, Wisla Krakow to WIN @25.27. Other odds: 23.02 Units advantage: 225 Running advantage after 420 bets: +28,430 (+225) All-time cumulative: +66,728 Running units after 419 bets (63W|356L): +11,178 (-100)

Man, fans coming back, LFC-Bitcoin, Trofo, maybe the guys from the forum can finally get together and smash some beers huh? Best reason to get that vax cert;) i saw that too. Not the first time it happens tho (promos in japanese). Last month or something they had a promo in the formula 1 with yuki tsunoda and it was all in japanese too. I wonder why they do this 🤔
I DO recall that actually =) I've seen the promos in Japanese and Portuguese (for the Brazilian markets, mainly Brasileiro) and have hit a couple or so. It's for their customer base, I guess, and good idea to speak in a language they're familiar with. Haven't seen any since opening day Olympics though, hard to catch them as they also don't get announced in Club Talk (as they're not English I guess).

Thanks for all the additional information, it does seem highly unusual that someone would go through all that manual obfuscation only to link his final spend into an exchange (Binance, for that matter) with unspent outputs from the original. Suppose no one's immune from noob mistakes, probably did a sweep from the wrong wallet. Albeit a "dent" in anyone's life, it seems that the attack "only" represents about 6 % of the company's total assets[1]:
Still a significant hit, given how many big corporations stutter if they just lose one month of output. Fine margins. But I guess Binance would be happy to play hero and return this all to Exmo.

David Popovici? He was far ahead of the others in Heat #2 (swimming 200 metre freestyle). But overall, he is not in the top 3. South Korean swimmer Hwang Sunwoo is the favorite to win the gold medal. But I am impressed with Popovici. How can a 16 year old finish at the 4th place (In heats. I hope he will finish among the top 3 in the finals). It will be great if he wins a medal. A gold will be like earth shattering. The last time a 16 year old won Olympic gold in swimming was 89 years ago, in 1932.
If he takes gold at that age, it's not unlikely he'll be present at at least a couple more Olympics before hitting his true peak. Amazing stuff, but then you can't ignore what they put their bodies and minds through to get to that stage of elite performance. Reminds me of when Phelps swept everyone before him, and then sunk a hole-in-one putt to show he wasn't merely a swimmer.

A bit too lazy to look this up but couldn't you at least show some links or give us the address to look at? You'd have probably taken care to do this had this been your own findings, but then my first Google search didn't show anything about this, so assuming this is new and hasn't made it rounds to English-speaking channels yet. So come on, don't be shy. Share.
P.S. Make up your mind. Is this "hacker" stupid or cunning?

$2.6 billion is too high, there's probably some miscommunications and mistakes.
As I was thinking in an earlier thread discussing this, some were thinking it's just an inflation of numbers to provide a convenient excuse to explain all their ill-gotten gains. So when queried where all the millions came from, the all-encompassing answer is: "I bought Bitcoin". And since people don't know enough and there's no requirement to from the state (as there's no legislation), then it's just accepted and signed off.

Sorry I missed this OP, I knew I could count on you. You were (so far) correct on your last similar consecutive-day prediction, nice to see you do a McAfee doubling down type thread.
Weekend bump is only slightly surprising to me. Mr Space CEO is doing his thang, and the sheep be doing their thang.
Still waiting for the bears to actually do something a bit more serious on their efforts to break and destroy 30k support though. What do you think's keeping their knees weak?

... Its a big surprise that USA is not even on this list at all. China as expect to dominate in this olympic games even from the start. But we should expect USA to start winning some medals and getting fast to the top of the list.
I don't expect the USA to top the list but they should be ranked higher than most countries on the list after a couple of days. Yeah I did expect US to take a medal in the first event (women's weightlifting 49kg but the US contestant didn't even make the lifts) but pre-Olympic favourites were USA at 11/10, China was about 45/10. Still way too early as track events is where the Americans excel usually, hard to beat physique but of course, someone mentioned pharmacology before;) Also as KTCChampions pointed out, more events like surfing and skateboarding -- I doubt China has expertise that can compete with sports that seem to be almost culturally North American. So let's talk about lobbying success too eh? Speaking of cultural dominance. Austria just won a gold too from 237km streetrace. Anna Kiesenhofer -- she's not even pro, a math teacher. Bloody awesome.

It wasn't to be, and in the end the Brits put up a typically resilient defence, forcing Japan into submission ala EURO. Good sign for English progress, but not so much for progressive footie maybe? Another upset is all I'll do today, and if I don't get this, I'll double up on Saudis later? Maybe 100 units at Sportsbet on Australia to WIN vs Spain (Men's soccer) @10.02. Other odds: 9.70 Units advantage: 32 Running advantage after 420 bets: +28,205 (+32) All-time cumulative: +66,503 Running units after 419 bets (63W|356L): +11,278 (-100)

I do recall a discussion perhaps a couple of montha ago about the reason why draft laws or suggestions haven't even got to the stage of proposal forwarding for voting, and it's because it'd be a convenient way for politicians there to just suddenly declare their wealth by saying they've been early adopters and buying Bitcoin since whenever. Tax-free so no questions asked? See this one: Ukrainian civil servants (read as politicians) own $2.6 billion in Bitcoin.
