India se encuentra en una situación en la cual las criptomonedas no están reguladas, y como medio de pago carece de autorización. He ahí que quieran clasificar a bitcoin como activo intangible, sobre los cuales pueden aplicar impuestos. Paradójicamente, algo que han llegado a prohibir, y que ahora está en el limbo, se ve como un activo a exprimir mediante impuestos.
Por ahora es una propuesta, pero el gobierno de india ya sabemos, por hechos consolidados, para qué lado barre.

En lo relativo a la política de Trezor, habría que saber bien cómo lo cocinan. Comprendo lo de anonimizar los datos tras 90 días como se haría, pero no quiere decir que la anomización sea irreversible. Me explico: La compra devenga en una factura, y éstas tienen un plazo legal de conservación. Mínimo deben poder casar los datos durante el periodo de garantía del producto (1 o 2 años según el país). En España se han de conservar 4 años. Pongamos que sea 1 año por ir al caso menor. Si uno reclama algo respecto de su dispositivo, Ledger ha de poder contrastar los datos de factura, luego los datos, de alguna manera, están allí, sea: - Porque lo mueven de la BD de e-commerce (que es la que dicen anonimizar) a la BD de facturas. - O por tener ya de por sí las dos BD, y la borran de una, pero están en la otra. - O por anonimizar mediante encriptación, lo cual es reversible con la clave de desencriptación. - Posiblemente accesibles para alguna API. No descarto que realmente anonimicen los datos de manera irreversible, pero no me lo creo simplemente por el archivo de facturas que deben tener de manera legal, con los datos del cliente. Luego no nos pensemos que sólo debe preocupar lo que está online. Todas las copias de seguridad son susceptibles de ser potencialmente robadas/hackeadas. Ahí dependerá de su política de copias y rescate, y cómo de bien están protegidas. No es que sea muy superior a la marca anterior de hace unos días, pero es un nuevo intento de franquear la barrera. Claro que enseguida ha entrado en una corrección abrupta, con casi 800$ de caída en escasos minutos. Es el juego, y los que saben jugar en corto (y se arriesgan lo suyo) tienen buenas oportunidades de vender y recomprar a precio más bajo.

Going over the daily opening data from Coinmarketcap, the largest streaks where the opening value is greater or equal to the prior day’s value are (in number of days):

Edit: Deleted quote.Try to PM the Administrators ( theymos, Cyrus) to see if they can delete your account, or change the username (which is very infrequent). Specify clearly that you messed up by placing your email as the user name. These petitions are seldom attended, but it may be worth a try in this case. Regardless, you may need to change your email if it is tied to any account that you have any appreciation for (crypto related for example), and certainly don’t ask for it to be your forum account’s associated email.

Desde la apertura del OP de este hilo, bitcoin ha pasado de la posición 16ª ($344.843.146) a la actual 11º ($490,458,808) en poco más de un mes, superando en Marketcap (si es que consideramos que es comparable) a Visa, Walmart, J&J y JP Morgan entre otros. The issue is that some people do eventually take the bait. It seems pretty obvious, but I figure we’d be surprised of the amount people whom, owning a Ledger, are not fully aware of what’s feasible and what’s not, especially if they barely use the device. There was a case reported today on Bitcoin Discussion whom, having received a similar message, went into panic and proceeded to click the "cancel" link. Apparently, he didn’t go through with the procedure, since the link didn’t work, but somehow it ended with a bad outcome: My email and phone have been hacked, is my bitcoin safe?We're going to see at least a couple of attempts per week, performed upon the leaked Ledger database, with whatever pretext (be it Ledger related or not). |

El lado positivo es que podrás pasar de 2K a 3K en un plis … Yo no me apunté a los bots de Telegram precisamente por preferir ir yo a ver si hay notificaciones de Bitcointalk, que no recibirlas en cualquier momento y contexto. De ahí que siga utilizando la búsqueda del foro, a pesar de sus carencias y bugs, y lo miro de vez en cuando, a mi antojo. En términos generales, sería interesante ver estadísticas globales de los reportes, sin que tenga porqué ser nominal. Si acaso desglosado por tiempo y área del foro. Lo de pedir una tipificación del motivo ya sería para nota, pero dudo que mantengan una internamente. |

Ahora creo que cada día o dos a lo sumo, hay una nueva variante, y no específicamente con una temática Ledger de trasfondo. Como he dicho en algún momento, no hay una BD de cripto mejor que éste par de Ledger, que va a ser utilizada para phishing, smishing, sim swapping y márketing de cualquier producto, con o sin el pretexto de Ledger de por medio. Tengo un correo reciente en la bandeja de Spam que cita que puedes reclamar tu Bitcoin SV, con una serie de enlaces que ya sabemos de qué van. Ahora, todo kiski va a provechar una u otra lista para sus fines, con todo tipo de pretextos, comunicándose tanto con los correos electrónicos como los teléfonos por medio de SMS (y esperemos que se quede allí). |

The email you are talking about is very likely a phishing email. The so called "cancel button" likely points to a Google Doc. Pressing that link alone should not have compromised anything, but the link likely takes you to a fake Ledger site, that eventually asks for your 24 word mnemonic to resolve the pretext (withdraw delay). Providing you did not provide the 24 word mnemonic, and that you did not have it stored in your email or such (google drive, etc.), your bitcoins should be safely on your Ledger device. It’s normally when you panic that you start doing rash things that lead to you risking tour bitcoins. You have not mentioned if your phone was used to provide 2FA to the accounts, nor whether you still have full control over it (make sure you can call/receive calls through your carrier). Can’t tell therefore if you’ve been sim swapped. You can check if your data is in the Ledger breach yourself, as links to the data are provided here and there (on this forum too, in what I consider an unfortunate move that propagates the effect even further). |

Por lo visto, se requiere el 90% del hash rate para que los cambios de Taproot puedan implementarse de manera irreversible, cifra que ya se ha superado con la adhesión de la Binance Pool (a pesar de la campaña en contra que se hizo para ejercer presión sobre Binance). There are probably no better phishing/smishing/sim swapping/marketing lists out there that Ledger’s leaded set of files (email, orders); certainly not for free as these now are.
Those phones and emails are going to be hit time and time again will all sorts of pretexts. There’s currently a new one on about claiming your (alleged) Bitcoin SV, which is likely ending up in the spam folder. Very likely they are targeting the Ledger email list with the Bitcoin SV excuse, not referencing the Ledger event in order to add another vector of attention and bait.

I figure that, being the thread’s context that of bounties and Newbies, we’re essentially discarding signatures in the equation, and focusing on those so called social tasks that consist on spamming the hell out of one’s contact lists on Twitter, Facebook and such (plus the occasional post on Medium or Telegram). Being that the case, I assume that the payment, if made, is going to be in tokens, and I wonder if that still pays off nowadays. Perhaps one in a thousand cases may add up to something, but are these bounties worth it anymore in general terms? Maybe there is an economical country-based context that makes it somehow worth it in countries with extremely low income (bottom tier of https://www.allinallspace.com/what-is-the-average-monthly-salary-in-the-world-in-2020/), or a youth based correlation (pocket money), but I thought jackpot bounties were more of a thing of the past. |

Creo que no merece la pena actualizar con mucha frecuencia la lista de los más generosos y tacaños del foro, sea en su globalidad, o con prisma de foro local español. Cada varios meses quizás, veremos.
Efectivamente, cada uno tendrá su motivo para estar en el extremo tacaño, y hay algún caso que allí figura que aporta contenido técnico más que respetable, por el cual recibe méritos, aunque no quiera apenas participar en el juego de ser donante de méritos en Bitcointalk. Es su decisión, y personalmente, prefiero sus posts que los méritos que pudiese repartir.

Pues francamente, soy incapaz de verlo. Figura "Blockchain" en mayúsculas como remitente, y no logro dar con la opción que visualice el número del emisor subyacente. He visto un usuario del foro alemán que lo ha recibido procedente de un teléfono con prefijo de inglaterra. Me imagino que pueden "spoofear" el origen.
Hay otro uso curioso que están haciendo de estas listas, en este caso de la lista de correos electrónicos, que es hacer publicidad de una moneda alternativa, que no viene a cuento, pero bueno, ya puestos a tener al alcance de la mano 1M de emails de interesados/dueños de criptomonedas, que mejor que hacer publicidad sobre esta lista …
