Very bold move but how do they know if an ICO is scam or not? They may set up strict rules an ICO has to follow if they want to advertise in AU and get Australian investors but I think this only ends in ICOs forbidding participation if you are Australian.

No one - absolutly no one - will give you money out of nowhere. So yes, you are going to be scamed if you take the deal.
Always ask yourself why someone would offer such an opportunity to complete strangers ...

Yeah, sad but true. Most of the projects which didnt reach their soft cap even dont pay back the collected funds because they "invested it in marketing" ...

To all of you who want to start trading: Dont follow advices like "use candlesticks and moving average" blindly. Its way better to get as much knowledge as possible about trading itself, learn as much as possible and start (paper-) trading afterwards. Otherwise you WILL lose a lot of money until you learned the basics by yourself.
There are a lot of very good traders out there which even published tutorials/learning material for free, eg. @philakonecrypto.

ICOreviews.net is missing in my opinion. They have spread sheets where different people rate ICOs, gather those infos into one large and comprehensive spread sheet for rating ICOs. They are pretty accurate, I usually use those spread sheets to take part in bounty campaigns.

When you create a post you have two buttons at the end of the text field. One to "Post" your thread/reply, one to "Preview". I created a bunch of threads lately where formatting matters (pictures, code snippets, ...) and used the Preview-function a lot. I didnt find any flaws with it, so you may try it out.
If you just want to write some text and finish it later you can you use a simple plain MS Word document, too. I usually do this to write longer threads for several days and publish them when I think they are ready for the public ;-)

The  different IP addresses are definitly not the reason why you were banned. If you are curious you may create a thread in the meta section of the forum and ask for an admin to give you the reasons for your ban.

The only tip for making profits as a beginner is: Dont trade with real money, stick to paper trades until you feel confident enough to understand the market you are going to trade in. Rushing into a market without knowing exactly what you do will cost you a lot of money ...

Einerseits gut für die Forenbetreiber, andererseits schießts auch komplett am Sinn der Sache vorbei wenn sich jeder günstigst das Recht erkaufen kann um eine Signatur zu tragen.

Den Vorschlag von dir mit Signatursperre für Copper Member finde ich sehr gut, der hätte fast einen eigenen Thread im Meta verdient? ;-)

There are plenty of scam ICOs out there which have a professional Facebook page and sometimes even faked LinkedIn profiles for the team members.
Faking Facebook is way easier than you might think, so no, its far away from any proof that an ICO isnt scam.

I think it may have an impact, yes. "May" because it doesnt matter if someone wears a signature or not but the history of posts matters to me. Before I give merits to newbies or Jr. Members I tend to have a glance at the posting history. If its full of repetitions, "when moon" and "very nice project sir" posts I usually stay away from giving merits

Ja, da gebe ich dir natürlich recht, das würde auch ehrliche Newbies treffen. Ich denke man sollte das neue System jetzt mal über einen längeren Zeitraum beobachten und noch feinjustieren, denke aber, wir sind auf einem guten Weg.

Was man auf alle Fälle jetzt schon sieht ist der Anstieg an "Please givve Merids" PMs von "langgedienten" Newbies

Die Änderung finde ich sehr gut und wichtig, geht mMn. jedoch noch nicht weit genug.
Den Spammern gehts ja prinzipiell darum, möglichst schnell im Rang aufzusteigen um "höherwertige" Signaturen tragen zu können. Den einen Merit um Jr. Member zu werden erreichen auch diese Spamer irgendwie, vor allem, wenn es zukünftig mehr Merit Sourcen geben wird.

Viel schwieriger wäre es daher, Signaturen erst ab Member Level zu erlauben. 10 Merits bekommt man nicht mehr "einfach so", schon garnicht mit gespammten Einzeilern.

Würde mMn das Gespamme drastisch reduzieren, weil es sich einfach nicht mehr lohnt

I dont think we should spread FUD based on that bug. Its already been fixed, no damage was done as far as we know by now. So Spreading the word about a bug which doesnt exist anymore will hurt bitcoin more than the bug itself.

Do you only look out for crypto related projects or any project which requires coding skills? For the latter there are plenty of freelancing platforms out there where you can offer your skills. I think even stackoverflow has something like that!
