721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Woah will this ever happen? Twitter banning crypto? on: March 21, 2018, 05:37:29 PM
Twitter will surely follow after facebook, google, and now snapchat banning ico ads. I guess the only place to advertise is to run a campaign on bitcointalk. There are other social media platforms like ONZ that are built from crypto so when they start to get popular they can advertise on the ONZ platform
722  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will The Price Of Bitcoin Increase Forever? on: March 21, 2018, 05:25:49 PM
It will increase forever because the supply is limited. However, during the increase the price will go up and down so you need nerves of steal to profit - or the ability to day trade. Market is volatile but overall the long term trend is upwards and will continue to be for years to come.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what Crypto community can do? on: March 20, 2018, 05:54:19 PM
This is the new wild wild west. Cowboys are running free in this world but instead of guns they are armed with a keyboard and hacking tools. It is easier to get away with robbing an exchange than a bank and until that changes they will keep trying. Cybercrimes police need to beef up more.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most trusted and profitable ICO for 2018? on: March 20, 2018, 05:49:48 PM
Who knows, we're just starting Cheesy however, the most anticipated has to be the telegram ICO which is going to be the biggest in the world and in history. Another contender is Kodak which is rumoured to be doing an ICO, and also an American hotel is offering a stake in ownership.
725  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Singapore will not ban cryptocurrency on: March 19, 2018, 10:47:46 PM
Singapore and Japan are going to lead the way for crypto in East Asia. If China decides to crack down too hard then they will get left behind. Singapore has always been well managed as a country attracting a lot of good companies there. Soon crypto companies will move there as well.
726  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Where can i report a crypto crime? on: March 19, 2018, 10:44:47 PM
You can report it to the police but if they don't have a cybercrime unit then it is unlikely that they can help you. Although this depends on the crime, it is increasingly popular now that gangsters are targeting victims to get their private keys. This assault can be solved by the regular police, but scams and hackers and likely to get away with it for now
727  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Matthew 7:12 - Whatever they do to you, you shall also do to them on: March 19, 2018, 10:31:14 PM
Damn right! Those bankers who we had to bail out with our taxes because they gambled our bank savings away. This won't happen on the blockchain, we must do our best to get bitcoin and altcoins out into the mainstream and take back control of our finances.
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Love To See People Panic Selling Of Bitcoin on: March 18, 2018, 10:41:42 AM
We all have to learn one way or another. When they see the value of bitcoin rise up again and surpass the ATH they will kick themselves for selling so low. Worse case is if they buy at the new ATH again and it crashes straight after due to another mt gox sell off Cheesy
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mtgox trustee sells on: March 18, 2018, 10:39:31 AM
Very useful tool and I'm sure that in September there will be a lot of traffic as the next sell off might begin. No action for now as they have already paid off some debts and now have to wait until September before they are allowed to sell any more. Hopefully it won't be completely dumped at the same time!
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is Big in Japan on: March 18, 2018, 10:36:45 AM
Because the first time bitcoin was released in japan by satoshi nakamoto and bitcoin became one of the virtual currency that many investors use

There is no proof it was released in Japan and equally there is no proof he was actually Japanese. Nonetheless, it is a Japanese name so perhaps they can claim to be the homeland for bitcoin. We will never know until his/her/their identity is revealed - with Hal passing away I fear we will never know the answer.
731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Great Decline on: March 18, 2018, 10:17:35 AM
It's just a few weak hands thing that the G20 summit will cause a crash in the bitcoin market. It won't do anything other than major as there are many more important topics to discuss. Enjoy the lower prices and wait for the next bull run. April is usually bullish so it's a good time to stock up.
732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next week G20 meeting in Argentina,Japan to Call for Crypto Rules at the G20 Sum on: March 18, 2018, 10:14:30 AM
Regulation is not something we should fear, I should be welcomed as the first step towards mainstream adoption of bitcoin and other crypto currencies. I doubt it will be on the agenda for long, just someone saying we need to keep it in check and not allow these scammers to create icos and run away with our coins.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BitLeek? on: March 15, 2018, 10:06:34 PM
Could be a key logger, I would stay away from rogue apps that don't come from the coin developer. Blockfolio is widely recognised as a trusted application, others are a question mark. With a name like bitleek what are they trying to say? Install this app if you want to leak your bitcoins?!
734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: March - bullish month? on: March 14, 2018, 11:09:49 PM
Traditionally yes, March is usually the start of the bull run that will last until the end of the year, aside from a few blips on the way. This March however is different due to the mt gox sell off and the new regulations. I think it will be delayed until April when we see the real bull run, but it will be big!
735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mailru enables bitcoin payments on: March 14, 2018, 06:28:57 PM
This is a huge company in Russia and good sign that crypto is being accepted there. There economy is ok but not great so it's a good place to use crypto. Lots of brilliant developers are from Russia so I would be surprised if they banned it, in the new digital economy Russia could be dominant one day.
736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Culture of hodlers on: March 13, 2018, 10:59:15 PM
Hodlers will help to stabilise the price, but it won't curb regulation. This is being enforced due to the sheer number of scammers ripping people off so regulation is coming to prevent that. Also where there are profits there are taxes so they will find a way to tax us - unless you go to Germany for tax free bitcoin Wink
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Germany Says No To Bitcoin Taxes! on: March 13, 2018, 09:41:59 PM
The number one crypto in Germany is going to be LISK which is headquartered in Berlin. With news like this, and the up coming SDK release next month I bet LISk will go the moon this year! ICOs going to be released on their blockchain in 2018, lots of good things to come. Good time to get in Wink
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao invests in cryptocurrency firm, is set to launch PAC Coin? on: March 13, 2018, 09:39:17 PM
Maybe that glitch in CMC wasn't actually a glitch and someone actually pumped pac coin up to number 3 on CMC! When you look at how much pacquiao earned in that fight against mayweather, he could easily have bought all those paccoins Cheesy
739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you stomach the dips? on: March 13, 2018, 09:37:01 PM
Haven't got time for day trading so just acquire when I can and hodl. I know that there will be dips and bumps but you need to look at the bigger picture ahead. Bitcoin is going to rise, could benefit from day trading but I know overall it is an upwards trend so not going to worry about a few dips along the way
740  Other / Off-topic / Re: How wars can affect Bitcoin? on: March 12, 2018, 10:28:47 PM
I think the price will pump but it depends on who the war is with. North korea will buy up all the bitcoins so they can spend it on weapons from dodgy dealers. Buying guns and missiles on the black market must cost a few million btc! Financial sanctions will be imposed so bitcoin will be the only way to buy stuff.
