722  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide]: How and Where to Report Phishing Websites on: February 16, 2020, 11:47:14 PM

I am using gmail for sure other email providers have this option too like yahoo.

This image is just for example:

723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As a Bounty hunter, don't expect too much on: February 16, 2020, 03:03:59 PM
I can't disagree with that there are bounty hunters that do not even read the project's whitepaper, they join every bounty even if it is suspicious and complain later, not following rules and complain of not getting paid, but we can't deny the fact that bounty campaigns now are not really worth it unless it is already listed with decent volume or the payment is in ETH or BTC, the majority are just not good I guess there are few good ones but the participants are too many so you will get small amount of shares.
724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 16, 2020, 10:04:06 AM
I have tried several Gambling website but you know where I found more success? In Sports Gambling, I pick a sport I like, like for an instance in basketball, when you know the team and their opponents you can pretty much predict who will win but not at all times but the chances are high if you really know the sport and teams. If you don't have knowledge about particular sport and just randomly betting try in your own risk.
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If google has its own crypto currency? on: February 16, 2020, 09:39:00 AM
Why everyone thinks to beat bitcoin, this coin is probably much better, etc. why is that? Bitcoin is the king no one could beat that, Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency ever created. It has community support and trusts no one could beat that. Technically maybe some altcoin could beat bitcoin in terms of speed, scalability but bitcoin has earned its name. If google will make its own currency maybe the effect is like Facebook libra but I guess it is still in a developing stage.
726  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: LOCKED TOKENS RECEIVED FROM BOUNITES on: February 16, 2020, 12:06:44 AM
There are many things that possibly happen maybe you are right there is a swap or that token is already abandon and turned scam, but the best thing you need to do is contact their support via email or directly on their social media like telegram and state your problem for sure someone will answer you from there. No one can exactly answer you here because we don't know the name of the project.
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stablecoins a definite solution against a bear market? on: February 14, 2020, 11:57:24 PM
Stablecoins is very useful on bear market but it depends on the stablecoin, dont hold it in a cold wallet some stablecoin has the ability to freeze our wallets , only DAI does not have those abilities. But if you are using it in day trading in a trusted exchanges I guess it is fine. USDT has been accused of pumping BTC and dump it later.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose the right bounty for Newbie? Get rid of fake/scam project on: February 14, 2020, 11:30:10 PM
I do everything manually, check the project whitepaper, social media if their team is visible and active on conferences, also if they an ongoing or coming IEO on a trusted exchanges, of course you need yo verify to the exchange social media if its really true. Already listed project is good but it depends on the volume, project that has already a working platform or product is much better. But doing all those things is not guaranteed that you will not be scammed it will just minimized the risk.
729  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which VPN to pick? on: February 14, 2020, 11:11:18 PM
I recommend Astrill VPN they have a lot of servers from different countries, different protocols, etc. they have a plan now which is $10 per month and most importantly they accept bitcoin as payment. Also they have 7 days trial, try it first before paying.

730  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Determining whether your token is Valuable Or Not on: February 13, 2020, 01:43:25 PM
Quote
Many valuable tokens are wasting in so many wallets without the owners having any idea that the token is trading in an exchange.
Are you referring to bounty hunters? obviously you are not referring to a trader. I guess your message is for bounty hunters that joins almost all bounties here on Bitcointalk, If you have so many sh*tcoin, I mean altcoins/tokens sometimes you can't monitor them one by one. You are correct checking the Telegram group and other social media is helpful, also if these tokens running on ethereum you can try to check them on https://deltabalances.github.io/ to see if it has value on DEX. Just curious have you join any bounty before? looks like you know about this stuff.
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IDEA for a lottery that does not depend on luck on: February 12, 2020, 11:57:02 AM
You have a good imagination but I guess it is a bad idea If you publish the current pot amount anyone can manipulate it and If you hide it no one will join because of "trust" what if the owner of this prediction lottery will manipulate it himself? There is no better way, That is why a lottery like this does not exist or not well-known.
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: February 12, 2020, 03:12:12 AM
If you are not financially capable never enter gambling, if you plan to borrow money just for gambling stuff, that is the biggest mistake of your life unless you are super lucky and hit a jackpot that happens once in a blue moon. Do gambling if you have extra money apart from your savings, of course, don't bet your life savings or it is the end.  Cheesy That is why there are broken families, the head of the family is a failure not able to get away from gambling addiction.
733  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin withdrawal fee is damn high in exchanges! on: February 12, 2020, 02:25:06 AM
Some exchanges already lower the fees on withdrawal considering bitcoin price is increasing this year, adjustment is needed and needs to be done enable to balance the fees. But I guess some traders are not using BTC to transfer their assets across exchanges they are using altcoins with cheaper fees but if you are withdrawing it in your cold wallet you need to accept the fees. In 2017 I encountered a $20 fee just to transfer a bitcoin.
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most speculative altcoin that might be gain high ROI in case of all on: February 11, 2020, 11:58:40 PM
I guess the utility token of the most trusted exchange is my best and safest bet right now for me, Binance (BNB) has a good reputation and trust from the community. If we are going to hit Bullrun this year I bet this coin will follow bitcoin footsteps. These are just my opinion and not trading advice.
But some say NANO is a sleeping giant I don't know we will see about that.
735  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHAT REALLY ARE DEFI PLATFORMS IN CRYPTO on: February 11, 2020, 11:45:33 PM
I just bump to this site recently maybe you can get an idea of what DEFI (Decentralized Finance). As written on their front page "there are a number of key issues the DeFi ecosystem is still not able to solve" I wonder what it is my knowledge on DEFI is not that much. Anyways I am not promoting this site. https://www.finnexus.io

here's an article from coinbase which i think explains the concept pretty well:

A Beginner’s Guide to Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

some examples of existing DeFi platforms:
https://makerdao.com/ (stablecoins and decentralized banking)
https://compound.finance/ (borrowing and lending)
https://kyber.network/ (DEX)
https://www.synthetix.io/ (synthetic assets)

Thanks for this informations.
736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 11, 2020, 11:23:19 PM
We are quite the same If I already gain a decent amount I stop and withdraw my profit it is easier to stop when winning than losing. I am not a regular gambler I don't play every day. I play when I have nothing else to do just a luxury time. I also set a limit if a lose this certain amount I stop and call it a day maybe it is not my lucky day.

738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has the price of Altcoin stopped in one place? on: February 11, 2020, 10:50:00 PM
Only promising altcoin that built trust through the years goes up just like Ethereum it is following bitcoin tail but other altcoins are being buried to dust with no movements at all. This is where we filter good from bad ones but be careful of a pump and dump altcoins it is very common now. It is normal in cryptocurrency to fall, unpredictable price, up and down just like bitcoin. But there is an altcoin that stops at fixed price those are stablecoins like USDT.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CHINA NEED PRAYERS AND NOT BITCOIN on: February 11, 2020, 10:22:19 PM
Yes, China is the second rich country, they don't need money but the medical supplies are not that much because of this coronavirus outbreak, they need help from another country. Of course, prayers help but helping with a donation can help too, Using bitcoin is good because there are no restrictions. Anyone can send anywhere in the world and buy medical supplies from it. But these donation does not require everyone, why bother?
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project's website is asking private keys of the holders. on: February 11, 2020, 10:05:16 PM
That is very suspicious possibly a scam and just want to get your private keys. I am just curious is this website a DEX?  you have mentioned also "of their wallet" this project has its own wallet? What blockchain are they using? or they have their own blockchain? If they have their own wallet and blockchain maybe they meant just to import your wallet. I want more info from you. Thanks!
