721  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiSquares.com 🟩🟦🟦🟦🟦⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ DOGE and DASH added on: October 15, 2020, 09:23:13 PM
New currencies, DOGE and DASH have now been added.

Good to see DOGE and DASH being added as previously we could only deposit BTC and LTC. Now we can play with doge and also the withdrawal fee for doge is only 2.20 DOGE which is very economical if you often cash out from the casino.

The doge addition is really good to attract small players. And since the dev is mentioning about the upcoming race competition, it may fire up the interest of players to play on their site. That activity will be a good one to increase the number of regular players on their site. Looking forward how race competition will be on this kind of game.

Other than that many players also prefer to use doge to have low cost in transaction fees when transferring or widrawing thier winning. it's really helpful for  small players since they only use small amount  just to enjoy the game it can also  attract  other players to try thier games once it's added as option.

I prefer to play at sites which have support for the DOGE coin. I can easily transfer small amount of coins to the gambling site and test the new site with DOGE coins.
I hope SatoshiSquares.com will get many new customers after this addition of DOGE coin in their site.

724  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't reply to private messages from unknown people! on: October 11, 2020, 05:24:24 AM
Rule number one I learned is to never reply to messages from unknown people in forum.
I would also think twice before giving anyone my real email address or telegram account.
Some people can abuse this or ask you for some help and pretend they tell you they will pay you for this help.

This is one example spam message I received today from scammers:

Quote
Dear friend,

Please forgive me for stressing you with my predicaments as I know that this letter may come to you as a big surprise. Actually, I came across your E-mail from my personal search afterward I decided to email you directly believing that you will be honest to fulfill my final wish before or after my death.

Meanwhile, I am Madam Elizabeth Edwards, 63 years, from USA, childless and I am suffering from Adenocarcinoma Cancer of the lung for the past 8 years and from all indication my condition is really deteriorating as my doctors have confirmed and courageously advised me that I may not live beyond two months from now for the reason that my tumor has reached a critical stage which has defiled all forms of medical treatment.

Since my days are numbered, I've decided willingly to fulfill my long-time vow to donate you the sum ($8.5 000.000.00) million dollars I inherited from my late husband Mr. Edward Herbart, foreign bank account over years.

If you will be honest, kind and willing to assist in transfer of this money to his or her account and use the funds for charity work of God while you use 50% for yourself. I want you to know there are no risks involved, it is 100% hitch free & safe. If you would be interested to assist in getting this fund into your account for a charity project to fulfill my promise before I die please let me know immediately. I will appreciate your utmost confidentiality as I wait for your reply.

Kindly get back to me at my discreet Email ( mrselizabethedward2@gmail.com ) for further discussion.

Best Regards
Mrs. Elizabeth Edward
mrselizabethedward2@gmail.com

Obvious scam bullshit, so please report anyone sending you anything similar.

I never got any such message on bitcointalk but sometimes i do get such messages for charity and help on my Gmail account. I usually block them or delete them because i know these are just scammers who want to get money from us. Sometimes they also send message like their 100 thousands dollars are stuck in a bank and they need my few dollars to transfer them to my account  Cheesy
725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I change a user on a forum? Help! on: October 11, 2020, 05:11:03 AM
Call me a cynic, but I don't believe anyone of the admins would bother doing this for a jr. member with no established reputation, as far as I'm aware so far the name change was only done for very prominent forum figures. If a new member would request it, I'm sure the admins won't bother to even reply, and you can totally understand that, because if they started doing this, everyone would start requesting it, and they will quickly become overwhelmed with requests.
I sent this request to the administrators.
More than a day has passed, but I have not received any response.

I think I won't be able to change my username. Sad Sad

You may or may not get a response on this from the admins. Even if you are lucky to get a reply back, it will be a sorry message because changing username on this forum is not allowed / discouraged. I did not know any case where a username of any member is changed on the forum.
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 11, 2020, 04:18:36 AM
This season of IPL is over for both KXIP and CSK. Both teams have proven consistently that they can easily lose a winning match. I think this would be the first time that CSK has perform so pathetically in IPL.

I've never seen CSK play like this shit before . Their team is very strong .  It is never desirable for them to lose in such a bad way . Just look at their squad . They have S. Watson , Faf du Plessis and  MS Dhoni . They are one of the greatest player in cricket history . On the other hand , S. Curran , Jadeja and Bravo are great finisher at  T20  cricket . Yet they are losing  easy wins .

Each team has played more than 6 matches . I have decided that i would not bet any more  for RR and Csk . They  are disappointed me every time .

Don't you think this bad performance is something to do with pandemic ? The players are out of touch and did not play any significant cricket in the past six months and they are finding hard to regain their form ?
727  Economy / Gambling / Re: Exbet | The Bitcoin Betting Exchange [exbet.io] on: October 11, 2020, 03:51:48 AM
they have no need for bonus, they are an exchange, not  a casino.
The bonus is the better odds

Sometimes you need to show off more in order to gain attention. Better odds is good but this won't make it a show stopper. Remember a launch is a big event and many good casino offer big giveaways on their launch. It could be anything, maybe free bets for everyone who register on Day 1.  Smiley
728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in the pandemic on: October 11, 2020, 03:38:00 AM
If we are about to based from the history, we can see patterns and significance. But as for trading, the market is basing to the demand and not actually from the history. Probably the history is also being the basis of other traders and investors to buy if they see the significance of the present time and will start to compare it from the past. Do you have the source how big the drop for trading activities with the beginning of the pandemic? IIRC, the market dropped but trading didn't.

Trading will continue to prosper as many people make it as a source of profit, but sometimes frustrations tend to happen. Market crash occured once fluctuations influenced many people and caused dumping of their holdings. Day traders and long term holders won't sustain for months, because as the beginning of the pandemic most popular coins declined a huge percentage of their trading volume.

I usually stop trading when market is down or there is any bad news which can fundamentally effects the market. Its always risky to trade in bear market as most the times the coins will dump and hit the stop loss. Holding is a much better strategy in pandemic and situation of bad economic crash.
729  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi.com | Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: October 11, 2020, 02:49:05 AM
A user registers from a prohibited country (this is not forbidden from your website as you indicated).  What will happen when they make a withdrawal request?

We stated a million times already. Betnomi will never confiscate a users funds because they are playing from a restricted country. This is no good reason to lock up anyone account with their funds. At least, let them withdraw the funds first. Anything short of that is theft as far as we are concern.

However, we will unapologetically ban your account with or without funds if you try hacking, exploiting and or abusing our system and promotions. (If we have enough  documented evidence to warrant this action)

You shouldn't be angry about it as people have questions before they would deposit in the casino. Your have a big list of prohibited countries and therefore more people will ask you about this query.
You can have a pop-up on your site stating this policy about the funds withdrawals from prohibited country.
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 11, 2020, 02:25:04 AM
Really disappointing performance again by Chennai Super Kings. CSK don't deserve to win. No replacement of Suresh Raina who left the team just before the tournament and didn't come back. Now sit and watch CSK getting thrown out of this tournament.
There is nothing to get disappointed, because this is the first time CSK is experiencing. For the past few seasons this was the situation with Royal Challengers Bangalore. When CSK won with ten wickets in hand everyone cheered the team has made a big comeback. After that two consecutive matches with the scores of 167 and 169 unreachable is a big failure to the team. It has got the able players, but they lack in stable performance as other team players does.
I think CSK needs a lot of change in their squad. A lot of aged players play in their squad with very low performance. They should give a chance to their young players.

I am really disappointed with CSK performance in late few matches because they can't doing well in batting and bowling, so still CSK have changes to go playoff but they have to do something special in upcoming matches and I hope they are do well.

You still have faith in CSK that they will do well in the remaining matches and qualify for the playoff ?  If a team not able to perform well in first seven matches of the tournament don't expect them to turn the tables in the last few matches. The seasons seems over for the Chennai Super kings and MS Dhoni.

Exbet launches on October 14th (that's next week!)

That's only a few days from now. So you have any special plans for the launch ? It could be a 100% deposit bonus or perhaps the launch of the signature campaign on the same day ?  Something which can make the launch memorable and unique  Wink
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites accepting bets from countries where gambling is illegal. on: October 10, 2020, 02:49:34 PM
Hi guys, this could be a great discussion for us to get some tips to help minimize the risk as although we are aware that our favorite gambling sites does not allow certain countries to use the site and yet we are still persisting to gamble. Personally, I don't read all the TOS in most sites I'm using as they didn't require a KYC so it's useless read all that when I believe I'm not covered since they will not know my real identity or where I am living.

However, lately, I've seen some complaints from user on account getting blocked or funds got frozen because such user belongs to a certain country where listed in the site not allowed to gamble, so I would like to hear your thoughts on how to deal with this kind of possibility that could happen to us since we still gamble despite knowing we are discourage not to.

To my fellow gambles, don't be shy to share your opinion, advises and experience so everyone will be aware.

Here you are mixing the two things.
First, if the gambling site has restricted your country, you should not play at that site, not even by using vpn because if they found out, they will not only block you but also will not give your money back.

Secondly, if your country has restricted gambling but you still play it, then there is no risk from the gambling site to block your account but you could face legal complications if your government finds out that you are illegally playing gambling.

I think now KXIP needs to think seriously about including Chris Gayle in the playing XI. The reason why they haven't included him till now is that they don't want to disrupt the opening pair of KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal. But they need Gayle now (probably in place of Maxwell). And on top of that I think they should also include Karun Nair. Players such as Prabhsimran Singh and Mandeep Singh have failed to impress.
Disrupt the opening pair of KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal? That's is not a valid reason as they only pick up 1 win out of their last six matches. KXIP are at No. 8th spot in the Points Table. KXIP are searching for win and Chris Gayle is the good option to replace of Glenn Maxwell, who has flopped up until this point. Anyway, what do you all think will Chris Gayle return as struggling KXIP?

Whatever they are trying to experiment with, it's not working at all. It's nonsense to leave a costly popular international player in the bench while the team keeps loosing.
Kolkata had another slow game and the target they set for Punjab is an average one. If even today the Punjab's batsmen mutilate the game, the change would be inevitable.
CSK and RCB would be another good match to follow. Both of them would be aiming for next round. RCB has always performed weak against CSK but things are much different for CSK this season.

I am expecting CSK to win the match and keep their chances alive in the tournament. It will be a good match.
In the current match, KKR will lose this match because they just score  only 164 runs. They need to get wickets early but failed to do so as Kings X1 are moving comfortably at 40 runs with no wickets down yet.

KKR short of 25 to 30 runs jand KXIP today doing some decent job so just because of this right now they are in command and can win this match very easily now requirment is just 99 runs from 67 ball with 10 wickets in hand mean they are going for easy or thrashing win this can give some good energy to this team which is right now bottom of table.

Kings X1 Punjab LOST the match. How could that be possible after they got such a brilliant start. The openers Rahul and Agarwal gave them the perfect start and they lost the first wicket at 115.  Losing the match from there is just not good for them.

Anyone who bet on Kings X1 Punjab today will be disappointed.

735  Economy / Gambling / Re: WILDTORNADO.CASINO |0.1 BTC Welcome Bonus | Instant Withdrawals | 3k+ Slots on: October 10, 2020, 05:41:15 AM
For instance, your playing session period is 5 hours, you deposited 0.01 and won 0.1 during all period( no matter single bet or several) - then you are welcome to cash-out 0.1 without KYC, but if you win for instance 0.2 you will have to process KYC no matter if you request cash-out in small parts or big ones.

0.2 BTC is not a big amount and you should not ask for KYC for this amount of money. You can increase the KYC limits to 0.5 or 1 BTC ?

Secondly if i won 0.2 btc and cash out 0.1 btc and then cash out another 0.1 btc on other day, will i still have to do the KYC ?
736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: October 10, 2020, 05:16:08 AM
Donald Trump winning odds are raising to 2.76 now on Cloudbet. I'm tempted to play but I won't.
I have still mixed feelings, I don't want Trump to win but something in my mind says he will win again. He always finds a way to me. I also think those debates have no major impact on voters.

The results cannot be predicted before the elections but it worth taking the risk here on gambling on anyone of the candidate for the presidential election.
Instead of seeing whose odds are better, i will prefer to bet on my favorite candidate. Both of them have a fair chance of winning. However, I won't disclose it here on whom i will vote and bet  Smiley
737  Other / Meta / Re: One fault with the merit system on: October 09, 2020, 08:58:59 AM
There is one obvious failing in the current system, and that is the decaying of unawarded smerits given to sources. There are three reasons that sources award merits, and these are - to encourage members who are beneficial to the forum, to indicate approval of a good post or thread, and to help new members and alts to rank up. When there is a paucity of good posts or good posters, then it is harder to award merits, and this can lead to fewer merits being available in the future. Alternatively, if you are awarding merits for ranking purposes, then it is far easier to find suitable posts, and this can lead to an expansion of the merits available for this section of the forum. Bearing in mind that each source smerit can generate an extra merit in the rewarded community, then this can lead to future distortions in the quality of posting and thread topics.

Does anyone else believe that this is an issue we should be considering?

As i think you are saying that the fault in the system is because the Sources will not find quality posts to award merits and hence their smerit will decay ?
First of all there are many posts which diverse merit but are not awarded, secondly even if your statement is true, they can give more merits to the posts which are good ones. Instead of giving 1-5 merits per post 5 -10 merits can be given.
738  Other / Meta / Re: If you received a merit... on: October 07, 2020, 01:50:39 PM
God dammit what a horrible reality check. I thought you were all my friends and that I was super popular. I even boast about my Merit score to people IRL and I'm keeping it up-to-date on my LinkedIn profile.

I guess the only friend I have left now is @KaneVWE, who recently called me a salad tosser, which is probably the kindest insult he's ever given to someone.

You don't need to be carried away with it and keep on doing the good work.

You are super popular as people love to read and give you merits  Smiley
739  Other / Meta / Re: Duplicate of Bitcointalk on: October 07, 2020, 01:38:50 PM
The only thing what can be achieved is to connect your IP with the information you are searching and somehow try to connect your main account with the used IP. Use VPN or TOR if you going to open it. I found this thread as well so it is quite updated, just the sorting of posts is opposite.

Only knowing the IP wont do any harm. I just visited the site and they may have tracked my IP. But they never know who am i on bitcointalk. They can't detect my username from my ip. So collecting only IP's are useless i guess. Maybe they have some other intentions.
740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 03, 2020, 05:49:08 PM
What an outstanding innings played by Delhi Capitals 228-4.It seems almost impossible to chase down by Kolkata Knight Riders this big target. Let's see who will win.
Don't get too cocky bro, they still have enough fire power to reach this target. i some how feels that RR is bit short here and KKR might win this game considering Morgan and Rusell batting at the middle order, not expecting much from Karthik but if he does well then it's all good.

Kolkata Knight Riders started well but it is always difficult to keep on going with the same pace when you are chasing a giant total of 228. Also they are losing the wickets quickly here which is making the target more stiff. Delhi Capitals should win from here.

Score board pressure will make the player to go for big shots even if the ball is not in the slot that is what happening at the middle, and now I can say it is impossible for KKR to win this match because they need 92 from 30 balls and already lost 6 wickets. At least they have to play sensibly and reach something near to the targeting to save themselves from the runrate crash because almost 4 teams are going to be in the same point so run rate will define their positions.

Its very early to predict that that top 4 teams will be decided on the basis of run rate. I hope the playoff teams are decided by the match points. I always feel that qualifying on the basis of run rate is not fair for a team who loses to qualify. After all they had won the equal number of matches and it is just their bad luck if the run rate is little low.
