They were in #monero-dev asking questions yesterday so seems more likely that it's monero getting added:  At the bottom of this image Mullick states "Will get this up ASAP" so its definitely Monero  I have a feeling cryptsy are kicking themselves for not adding XMR sooner. Since Polo was the only exchange they have gained a lot of market share in the space. I can almost guarantee that ETH wouldn't have had 5000 BTC volume if Cryptsy added XMR earlier. The cryptsy team has let Polo gain too much market share and now they (maybe) have to try and make up for it |

This latest dump was the result of a margin hunter. Someone sold about 1000 XMR under 235 and immediately a trigger order of 11000 dumped to market, this was the result of a long position getting stopped out or liquidated
nothing to worry about here hodlers!
Could also be a stoploss being hit. Anyway, trading on margin is very risky in such a volatile market as XMR. Yeah that's what I mean, someone went stop hunting just below 00235. I'm fairly confident that the wick to 0026 was the bottom of this dump |

You need to wait for your blockchain to sync up...that little bar at the bottom of the wallet needs to be full. This should take up to 24 hours depending on your computer thanks you for answer so when the bar is full i will recive my litecoin? yes, infact you have most likely already received it. go to https://ltc.blockr.io/ and paste your litecoin address in the search bar. That way you can check to see your balance even if it hasnt shown up in your wallet yet |

The fact that XMR blew through the resistance at 0026 in one day blows my mind  A prolonged dip under 0025 would be ok with me but this breakout may have eaten all of the sell pressure in this range |

Polo shows a volume of 1000+ btc on the day the 0.01 peak was hit. Mintpal data is unavailable but I bet that wasn't less than half the polo volume. So approx 1500btc worth of coins traded. Quite a lot actually
Not all those traded at 0.01, but close. Still, I'm surprised to learn it was that much. I never saw the 1000+ BTC volume numbers on Polo, I guess I just wasn't paying very close attention. Crazy times. If you fantasize about someone being able to buy low and sell at the peak, please use the average instead of the peak for sums that are <5% of the daily volume (ie max 6,000 XMR). If the sum is larger, you need to apply a discount to the daily average to get an actionable figure. It is hardly possible that a peak in price would have coincided to one player selling more than 10% of the volume anyway. So your saying that nobody sold more than 6k at a price above 0.00856. Despite the price being above that figure for 8+ hours, there being several 100 btc volume and the fact as I said there was around the same sort of volume on mintpal (in fact if I remember rightly mintpal hit higher than 0.01) I think youre misinterpreting what hes saying. 120K XMR were sold around 0.007 - 0.01 at an average of 0.00856. A maximum of 6000 XMR could be traded at the peak (so 0.01) |

There seems to be some resistance from BTC rising today...
I suspect once these hedgers/sellers are exhausted, XMR could explode to the upside (especially if Bitcoin is in obvious uptrend)

Definetely not soon but chances are it will do it. Transacting bitcoin is clumsy due to too low block size, and if they increase it, it only postpones the problem - not solve it (taking care of symptoms instead of curing the sickness). Speaking of block size...what's Monero's capacity in terms of txs per second? Monero has a very scalable block size solution. It is "adaptive" as it changes with the amount of information going through the Monero network. |
