I think it would be a good idea to do not so much a Bitcoin OS but a general privacy OS. It would have bitcoin functionality, automated encryption of everything, TOR, bitmessage and other similar software. There's Tails which is super tight for security but expansion is limited as it is designed to run off a DVD/thumb drive. Something in the middle between Tails and Ubuntu would be awesome.

Made in Switzerland: https://www.neomailbox.com/services/secure-email High strength SSL encryption IMAP, SMTP, POP3 and Webmail Multi-level spam and virus protection Unlimited disposable email addresses OpenPGP encryption, digital signatures IP hiding for enhanced privacy RSS feeds delivered via email Hosted in SwitzerlandWe have been increasingly concerned about the alarming erosion of online privacy rights in the USA over the past decade that we've offered Secure Email services hosted in the USA. To offer our customers an alternative to hosting their email in the USA, in 2004 we began offering Offshore Secure Email service hosted in The Netherlands, and in 2010 we moved all Offshore Secure Email accounts to servers hosted in Switzerland, which affords some of the strongest legal privacy protections for customer email messages stored on our servers. Yeah, that is all nice- but you don't offer an option to pay in BITCOIN? Are you an Amish-owned company?

I bought a $500 moneypak but it didn't seem to work. There seems to be a discrepancy at the 9th decimal place. I am sure I sent the right amount because I copied it right off of the order form and pasted it into the field on blockchain.info. Any ideas?

That's cool, I was talking with my teacher about maybe trying out wax casting at some point for fun, I think I prefer doing things by hand though myself.
Hand-made jewelry is very desirable if you have the client base who understands the difference and is willing to pay for the extra labor involved. It can be a good trade. We did both for a while, but overall we found wider appeal in cast jewelry. Definitely you should try out wax. I think it is a good advantage for a goldsmith to be able to do both. It isn't just about production, but also the skills you learn making jewelry by hand are valuable for repairs and for understanding the mechanics and physics behind certain design elements.

Thanks for the offer KOS. I will definitely look you up if I get in a pinch.

I have a ton of transactions on this forum and bitmit.net for low, medium, and high-value items. I would like to buy Moneypak. Because of rampant fraud in these types of transactions I will pay your coins after I withdraw the money from my card. I will withdraw as soon as possible.

This is getting scary. Get out while you can!

Blockchain.info is a superb site. It is not buggy, nor is it (for most people) difficult to use.

We can make almost anything. We don't do production pieces though- nothing is mass-produced. We will work with you to make a ring exactly the way you want it in your choice of metal and stones. We mostly do 14K, 18K, or 22K yellow gold and 14K or 18K white gold.

Also used Dave for a custom ring w/ his gems a year or two ago. Awesome service. Still worn everyday to this point (well, except for one week... that was my fault)! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Thank you Kluge! I'm humbled to have the nice comments but I can't take all the credit- my wife and my goldsmith and my wax artist all do great work, and without them I couldn't offer the level of service that I do.

I am proposing to my darling in about a week - and I just bought a beautiful gold & sapphire engagement ring using Bitcoins. Yes - I paid for it entirely and directly in Bitcoins!
Congratulations, and thanks for letting us know. How did you have it shipped? Is shipping insurance expensive? Shipping is done via a secure, high-value courier and no, insurance is not expensive. It is about $17 per $1,000 value.

It's much more likely that they're simply broke.
How can you become broke when you were handling 80% of all Bitcoin transaction? They were making millions in profit. I don't think they are broke, I think they are being blacklisted by the fiat banking system because of US regulatory pressure due to the FinCen investigation (which was probably from a tip-off because of the failed merger and $75m lawsuit). Some banks are still begrudgingly doing business with them on a low-volume basis treating MtGox with the caution normally reserved for Iranian mullahs, Nigerian finance houses and Colombian plantation owners. This is the most logical explanation I have seen yet. Indeed, anyone who leaves $ or bitcoin in gox right now is accepting enormous risk.

How did you get such a lousy trust rating? Is this due to a single complaint, or multiple complaints, and are they detailed somewhere on this forum?
In any section of the forum where trust ratings are shown, you can click on "Trust" in their profile and the link will take you to a page that gives all the details. Thanks for that info.
