721  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can anyone recommend an event where one can test their trading skills? on: November 13, 2023, 08:43:01 PM

I wouldn't use demo platforms to learn trading because demo and real life are like day and night. When you trade on demo platform with play money, you risk easily and you trade differenty because you know there is not your fate dependent on your trades but when you trade in real life and see that you lose or profit from your budget, then you start to ger nervous or excited and will make mistakes.
Demo might not be your real money in the sense that, you can easily get over it in events of a lose and it could steer you into over estimating your wins which could reflect in you not taking calculated risks when you go live, Demo remains a way to go and practice trading.
While placing your trade, you would still have a good percent of the adrenaline rush and this would be you trading the same condition as those trading live.

To test just how you good you might have been and you don’t want to be focused on the demo applications, you might just buy the ETF idea where you hope to get something out of your good works and you might be responsible for some of your actions even though, it’s just your reputation.

We were the better team today; the only difference was that we didn't have our way with decisions, and Anthony Taylor was terrible as usual. The city continues to get away with these decisions. They have the entire FA in their hands.
Terrible! Did I hear you right on Anthony Taylor being terrible in the Chelsea 4-4 Manchester City officiating?

I don’t very much agree with that one my good brother. I think it’s you being a Chelsea fan speaking in that line. I would say, I wasn’t entirely convinced on the Cucurella and Haaland penalty decision but, it was a 50/50 chance on how it could go. Cucurella wouldn’t let go of E. Haaland even with the danger he knew so well that could bringing and it did prove costly.

Other than that, I think the officiating was okay by my standards. No cards weren’t justifiable neither was the Broja penalty awarding.

Bit yeah, Chelsea was the better team in this one. They’ve been great this season when facing top teams. If only they could replicate this sort of performance, they might as well find themselves in the Europa.
723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: November 12, 2023, 08:24:25 PM

You mentioned Doku somewhere in this thread,  still went ahead and got him, sacrificing Sterling for him, and that's the second worst decision I've made this season; my initial intent was to get Palmer for Sterling, but the transfer happened too quickly. I would not have signed Doku if I had known Grealish was back in the squad. Getting him off after international break.
Doku for Sterling,,, because of one incredible GW performance… that was a rash option as, Manchester City game isn’t built around Doku although, he’s a very talented play maker that could come up with assists, have good eye sight for goals but, his just an option in Peps squad until it solidifies.
Chelsea at this time have most of its play centered around Sterling, N. Jackson and Palmer. They are dependable and you could expect them to come up with good points should Chelsea have a good day but, you can’t say the same for Doku.
Like I said before hand, Doku is good but good enough for the FPL, I can’t say for sure!

@igebotz Sterling looked good today. Is it usual state of things or just today? Thinking to take him after their fixtures turn better. What happens with Palmer minutes after Nkunku gets back? What happens with his penalties? Nkunku was the one before the injury but Palmer scored 4 already, that must count for something, and three of those were against Arsenal, Spurs and City if I am not mistaken Fans will remember those things.

Sterling is always in front of goals; he's been good all season and in every game he's played this season; he's simply one of those unlucky players who puts in so much and gets so little in return. Palmer is an important member of the squad, and when Nkunku returns, he will be moved to the No.10 position behind the striker, where he will spend the majority of his time. Nkunku would have to prove himself to have the PK duty because Palmer has a perfect record.

I'm coming to burn your ass. Just wait.
Sterling was out to prove a point today to Pep and the adoration of both fans that, he was good and surely he was even though he got a yellow card later in the game. He was just out on his best to ensure Manchester City don’t have the last laugh. I think the officiating was good too for this game but then, at some point I felt Palmer was too weak but, Pochettino chose to let him play full time. Maybe for that singular penalty possibility which he scored.
724  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which sites to go to gather Crypto information and news? on: November 12, 2023, 08:13:14 PM
There is a lot of sites out there as well as exchanges that could give you these pump up news on what’s new and trending in the cryptospace, one reliable source is cointelegraph, coinmarketcap and a host of exchanges out there and even the mycelium wallet do pop up some random informations and new i updates in the crypto space every now and then.

Although, I wouldn’t advise you limit your source of crypto news to these sources. You should be open to other varieties or sources of information out there. You should rather, filter what you chose to go with as, not everything you get out there are entirely true and some of them in themselves are already filtered in a way that it applauds the point being projected.
725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: November 12, 2023, 06:55:14 PM
Newcastle missed following players today (copied from livescore so probably correct):
Harvey Barnes
Dan Burn
Matt Targett
Callum Wilson
Alexander Isak
Elliot Anderson
Jacob Murphy
Sven Botman
Sandro Tonali
Bruno Guimaraes

Just check their bench on site like livescore. Apart from Livramento and Dubravka, all kids. CL and fatigue taking their toll. Lewis Miley in first 11 also a kid. Trippier losing nerves at the and arguing those points with supporters.
Now I see why they lost.
I don’t get a chance to see the game but, looked it up on the FPL results and it was very shocking to note that they lost by 2 goals to nothing.
Isak had been king gone and with Wilson as an addition, they’re sure to have difficult times facing Bournemouth and have any chance of success.

The UCL like you said could possibly be the issue with them as, they’ve got to present there very best and with no team depth to cover for any strain in the squad, what you see in the line ups could be there best possible option.

Trippier having to come up with just a single point, that’s just bad for my squad right now.
Maddison didn’t get to feature on my squad and I’m hoping FPL does the next best thing with a sub of my highest point but, I can only see them bringing in Kabore being my first sub and with a single point as well, FPL though!
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: November 11, 2023, 05:21:22 PM

.

I hope it doesn't end up like the last time, where he had to miss more matches due to that, he's already made the line up though, I presume it was just a minor issue and FPL injuries notification (the yellow one) is just misleading as it often is the case.

I really hope Rasmus Hojlund can replicate the form he display in the UCL during the midweek.
If that be Saka being referred, we are sure to have him in regular play but, Maddison is out for the rest of the year.

Tottenham’s lose today just shows how much work he was doing for the team, they couldn’t hold on to an offensive game and were often subjected to pressure by the Wolves team, conceding 2 late goals to deprive me of good 6points on Son and Pedro Porro zero clean sheet, Spurs did this one.

It seems to have been a defense game for Arsenal today, with Saliba and Zinchenko on the score sheet. Saka don’t seem yo be so phenomenal no more to produce great quality and needed goals. His unfitness and how the game seems to revolve around him makes it really difficult to get points.
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: November 11, 2023, 01:40:13 PM
My team really looks like shit for this GW.

Maddison, Estupinan and Stones injured, Saka doubtful for the game. Tsimikas doubtful to start.
It's possible I'll play with 9 players, from which one will be Semenyo.

I have some construction going on in my apartment and no option to sit down in peace and use a wildcard. Should have done it ages ago though.
I think the issue with Saka isn’t one that would leave him on the bench, he will very much be featured on the pitch although, Maddison seems to be the bane of most of us. Didn’t keep track on him until it was late past the limited time for transfer. I’m just hoping one of my benched players like Kabore or Edouard gets good points to substitute for Maddison.

I rally should have brought Mbeuno in, would be looking forward to that possibility in GM13 and the chances of getting Haaland back on my squad. Last GW11 was so out of expectation.
728  Other / Meta / Re: I don't have good account security. on: November 10, 2023, 02:42:40 PM
It’s a norm that, added layer of security by meals of having your mails verified during registration isn’t put in place by the forum but, it’s that’s hardly a security measure don’t you think?
It’s just by some means to ensure your mail address is correct and you’ve got access to it. It doesn’t have much to do with security of the account.

Means of adding layers of security to your account are as stated in quote;
1. Use a good unique strong password.
2. Use 2FA in email address that you used to register.
3. Stake your BTC address.
1 and 2, insured you on the forum but not off forum with regards to mail compromise. In a case where your mail address is compromised, being prompt to act on notification keeps you safe.

But, the forum has a more better trick in the staking and signing of address.
These are unique means by tying an account to a wallet address which is 100% secure depending on how private and secretive you are with your private key.
It ensures even should your account be hacked successfully, it could be recovered from the hacker following due procedures.

I'm always panicking when I see the injury box and transferred out Cash for Guehi which wasn't very smart but not a surprising move from someone who (C) Watkins over Haaland in GW 10  Smiley

Imo, it depends. There was a game week where Watkins outperformed Haaland. In such a game week, giving Watkins the armband was a better call.

Also, Allison was solid in that Luton game. Liverpool could've lost by 2-4 goal margin if not for his solid saves.
If we look at it from the point where we have to fall back to a week where Watkins had better point records, then we just might be gambling the whole thing with very little to bank on for an assurance on who could actually swipe the point board.

I think the anticipation here was that, Manchester Cuty had a UCL game and with Bournemouth not looking like a team that could pose any threat, have had relatively bad season this far and are here visitors at the Etihad, it’s a much expectation that, Manchester City will easily win that game and there you would have Pep withdraw his big guns back to the Arsenal in preparation for the UCL fixtures.
It’s not far from what happened but, no one expected E. Haaland not to get a goal out of 45minutes of game play.

Not that I'm complaining but the bonus points system looks a little bit flawed.
Still not sure how Alisson Becker got 3 bonus points against mighty Luton Town.
Mighty Luton Town, Lol…
You know it’s actually funny to hear you say that just because, the managed to hold Liverpool at bay, got the lead with Liverpool only coming to get a draw at the last minutes. Well, they were really a mighty team but, I just don’t know how Darwin get to send that ball right over the cross bar in the face of goal.

Alison Becker managed at least 4 saves in that game in contrast to Kaminski who had 5 saves. That isn’t so bad to get 3 points over.
732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whatever happens, hold on to your Bitcoin. on: November 09, 2023, 02:13:53 PM
People get too excited about small pumps in the market, it brings the idea of the time to sell and make profit is at hand but, what becomes of you and the fiat or whatever coin/commodity your Bitcoin values is transferred into after you sell?
You might just miss out of all the other events, bear market inclusive, which will come playing out after that.

Many have the ideas of, they would have to buy again during the bears but, how often do you make it to that.
Anyway, after the rain comes the shine and as such, being excited isn’t out of place but, never get to sell all your coins.

News on the continued approval of various ETF platforms might be a course for nothing but, I very much feel this is just happening as a bid by this platforms to actually take advantage of the expected bullrun, come next halving. You get to work with them to build yourself and them as well. It’s a cool thing but, ensure your not loosing out on accumulating some Bitcoins.
733  Other / Meta / Re: Services board is very hard to browse on: November 04, 2023, 08:19:26 PM
There's gotta be like a dozen signature bounty campaigns going on in the services board right now.  (I didn't actually count them.)  The way I handle it is to just ignore the topics I don't care about and  that way I can focus on the topics I think are interesting.  The forum gets more customized to what you're into when you ignore stuff you don't want to see.
I am not sure you get the point of the OP, I think the idea behind the whole post is about exposure and not having certain threads washed up too easily as, bumping a thread plays by a specific set of rules which respect you from unnecessary bumps within a period.
While, you could as well expect signature campaign applicants to keep up with the bumps on Open slots with signature campaigns as well as, bumping some respected managers services.

One thing to note anyway is that,
These bumps on these campaigns are by means of payment notifications, slot announcement/applications and discussion on certain vital changes.

If you’re phenomenal enough, you can have your service bumped once in a while by users and fans alike as well, as much as you would yourself. The difficulty in this is that, it doesn’t give much room for new service providers.

If a new board that distinguishes campaigns from services is needed, I can’t say for sure.

Warning... If we keep to acting this way while we have our money invested in the Bitcoin industry and supposing this platform was to enhance your trading skills and educates you with relevant knowledges in the Bitcoin industry, believe me bro and sis... Your coins would be a once upon a time
It’s been a popular complaints here and that’s because, some beginners are more matured than others and some don’t really know what they are out here to do just yet and how pro-Nigerians here worked themselves out to archive this milestone.

It was a hard win victory to have got ourselves this space where we could be free to be Nigerians and be that Nigerian with a quality and having to see some users just come around and downplay all the efforts that’s been put in really hurts.

Maybe it’s because there isn’t exactly any moderation to the locale yet, we still try to see ourselves as one Nigeria/Nigerians as it ought to be and perhaps these guys don’t understand just how hard won the efforts took in consistency and years but, I would say, let’s not push our luck here.

You guys have to watch it. If you were introduced on here by someone, seek there consult on certain activities you perpetuate on here and those bringing in these users, be dutiful to coach them not to spam, it’s absurd.

@Igebotz why didn't you captain Haaland? Surely this week he hauls again?

You now know the answer! Decisions like this are what distinguishes professional managers from potential managers. Just when everyone expected him to haul, I didn't believe it. He will now be gone from my team for a few weeks. Salah Hattrick is necessary tomorrow for me to move into the top five.
I’ll be surprised if you go by that decision as only over the night, you reckoned on my decision to use Haaland to top up my bankroll to get other players in the likes of M. Salah and H. Son in wasn’t the best of ideas. I’m so proud of my decisions on E. Haaland based on the results from the game week, all thanks to Pep but then, 2 points for a Captain, even Bowen from GW10 was great choice.

Considering we still talking about Manchester City, anybody know many points Doku got with that brilliant performance and Man of the Match  Tongue

Doku got 19 points + bonus coming soon.
Doku has brought such a boost to the Manchester City squad and you can say he fits in very well, forces the attack just as much as Pep would have expected of him but, does he really fit to feature on your teams? I mean, his a good player but, there’s questions on playing time and if he’s going to be able to produce those needed points but hey, how can we tell.

He did great today.
736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 04, 2023, 01:50:06 PM
It looks like this match could end in a draw. Because now the match has entered the 51st minute but the score is still 0-0. And both teams still seem to be having difficulty creating good opportunities. And to be honest, I had a little more hope for Man United in this match.
I wouldn’t be so sure. I myself had that thought through the first half but, Fulham haven’t been so involved in the game except for few attempts from Williams but, we could find Manchester United pressing high every time and have managed yo keep most of there attempts on target.
H. Maguire seems to have redeemed his image being at the end of almost every crossed ball on the Manchester United defense line and could actively seen contested for balls high in the Fulham’s goalkeeper box as well.
If Manchester United could get a clear chance, you could be sure they would make out a goal as they much need this win.
737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think gambling is inbuilt, kids don't learn it anywhere, they do it! on: November 04, 2023, 01:42:27 PM
The Australian Government once said about abolishing gambling ads as a means of reducing gambling activities amongst underage people. But, I think they'll be no successful way of stopping young people from gambling. As it's in them. Most articles here also say things like gambling addiction being hereditary. That means gambling can be hereditary as well. Because I just watched from a distant two kids below 10 years, staking bets, after a long argument about who the artiste of a specific song is. They later staked close to 40 cents each, for the person who gets the answer right.
I don’t subscribe the idea of gambling being hereditary, I feel it’s more of what is developed over time. It’s normal for people to argue and also normal for kids to want to be right or the most correct person in an argument and at times, making the wrong kid feel hurt the most, you try to take something from him or her for arguing with you. That’s how it develops, from promises on big win, easy money and the exposure you get. That’s my opinion though, it ain’t hot much to do with hereditary as, it’s not in itself a trait and can’t be transferred in the genome sequence in hereditary.
738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: November 04, 2023, 10:16:58 AM
~snipe~

Giving up Halaand is a tremendous mistake; you can't compete for a higher  place without him; he's one of the most consistent and resilient players. Every haul he makes is going to affect your position.
Don’t make me regret my decisions too early, lol…  Grin

Well, I know the quality of E. Haaland but, he obviously had all the money to bankroll my bringing in H. Son and M. Salah who has remain consistent in recent times, either coming through with goals or assist and even both. For the very least, I think both players could match E. Haaland to a great extent.

Perhaps I’ll see to bringing him in later but, would test run a team without the phenomenal Haaland for few GW and see how it goes.
For the positions, we’ve not gone half the season yet although, I understand every step on the way counts but, there’s time to change things if I could make some good decisions later on the season. Maybe would be looking at Trofo for tips.
739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: November 03, 2023, 10:31:09 PM
I'm captaining Salah again this weekend since it's a nice game for him to haul. I'm tempted to use my triple captain chip, but I still think DGW is the best moment. This week was the most tough for my captain pick because Halaand and Salah both have easy games.
Haaland proved to be one mistake I made from GW10 where I had to give his captain band to Bowen and that proved to have been a huge mistake as Bowen doubled on just 2 points while Haaland, got 2 goals and an assist to earn him 16points that could have easily been 32 points for a captain.

Even still, I had to hit the wildcard and revamp my team with Haaland out to save me enough bankroll and brought in some new guys. Hope this doesn’t become my GW11 mistake though but, I rather not bag my points on a single bang of money. A good measure from Salah and Son could go a long way too.

I hope to see that proven by GW11 and Salah has got the captain’s band for the week.

Cannot tell if trolling.  If not, this has got to be the lamest suggestion for a new section that I've ever seen, and if you take offense to that OP....I'm good with that.

Bitcointalk has already got an off-topic section like many other discussion forums do, plus it's not a forum about health, and people generally don't come here to discuss their health issues or even much about medicine for that matter.  I imagine most of the membership is comprised of young men who are in pretty good shape physically.
That probable thing that i go with every other day, given that cryptocurrency on the whole is an idea very much accepted by the youths who are less traditional than old forks.

Again, I don’t agree that the forum should concern itself with just every other board that would depict it being a society or community rather than a crypto centric space where Bitcoin and other related crypto concerns could be discussed vividly.

I feel the OP should pay more attention to the name of the site he or she is registered with and pick out directives on what sort of forum we’ve got ourselves. Good enough there is an off-topic space which is all accommodating for a variety of threads and societal issues.
You’ve got health challenges, go see a medic to see you through some therapy and not rely on what you’ll have anyone say to you online. I don’t think anyone would be more concerned of your health here.
