721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: December 02, 2023, 12:53:50 PM
Nothing serious with Watkins but Nunez sounds like a better deal with easy fixtures honestly.
I had to choose between Isak and Nunez, I had to go with Nunez. I hope he doesn't just give me shots on targets.
I think the choice here should be more focused on the opposing teams and that be Fulham and Manchester United. Either of them haven’t been in there best but, I would trust a Manchester defense, the man behind the goal in Onana over what Fulham has got. Else, I wouldn’t match Nunez in quality as against Isak. Isak has been great at goal conversions more than we see with Nunez in the EPL.

If I were you, I would be a little reckless on this one and still have to go with Isak over Nunez. I’m not expecting a goalless draw or a game where Newcastle United don’t get to score a goal and no better man to net that goal than Isak and Wilson could only come from the bench with just minutes left in the clock. For Liverpool, M. Salah, Diego Jota and probably Luiz Daiz is there to pick up the task. With Jota out, Liverpool play host, Nunez might seem like a choice but even at that…

My speculations will leave me with Isak.
722  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers Signatures : A challenge or Respect on: December 02, 2023, 11:06:36 AM
Well, Theymos has given a grace period of one month, to wind up all these things including signature campaigns. Now the question comes whether we show respect to the theymos decision and remove our signatures as soon as possible for everyone benefit and to show that we respect the forum decisions or will you people will keep wearing the signatures till 31 December so that you earn every penny you can. Also it means that most users are not willing to let go mixers signatures as they keep them till the last seconds.
There is no point having to fast forward a rule that has been by designed to have its effect kicked off on the first of January. It’s clearly written on the news field and has got an active thread for it. I get it that, time zones might be different but, forum time stays UTC which would count towards this action and I see most of the users promoting a mixer at the time to be some of the smart ones in the forum, highly concerned with the safety and integrity of their user to note be conscious enough knowing the risk involved.

I would also hope to see some notifications be sent out by forum administrators to concerned users as well as managers in the event that they get carried away by the festivity and I see the forum playing some rule in having some of these threads archived amongst other means of repose.

Until the appointed time draws near, there isn’t a need to hasten up what would be. Who knows, we could have a change to the decision!
723  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: December 02, 2023, 10:24:04 AM
So that is your decentralized forum?  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
Where did you get the idea that the forum itself was decentralized?
From the various actions and inactions, in the various suggestions and modifications that have slowly come by, the bans and unbans of certain users, you ought to have known that this forum has a government, it’s very much centralized. It is a Bitcoin discussion from and not Bitcoin itself. A centralized system that works for a Decentralized project.

This is why, I very much try to make people understand that, Decentralized systems aren’t here to kick Centralized systems out but, to work in conjunction as complementary to the other and that’s just the best form you can have it. Monopoly isn’t always a good idea for a field.

Mean while, it’s such a hard decision to have been made on Mixers. Something I can’t accept or reject in its wholesomeness but understand why and how it came to be. Trying to set a clear path and ensure the continued existence of the forum, given that, this forum is governed by known people and hosted by a known system which could be affected by regulations in the worst case scenario.
Not so many want to be out there, standing for a course just because, the T&C has said this or that in separating the owner from certain wrong use of the services.
By far, mixers does nothing in just making traces untraceable. It’s the service they render, they never sourced for scammed coins neither are they in the line of business to ask questions or keep logs. They just mix and it seems justifiable, even the terms of service clearly separates them from any of such illegal usage but,
Has that been able to save the ones that stood out and got bigger, I suppose not.

Now, having the forum tangled in all cases that comes up and dies out over time will definitely drag more attention to the forum as a target being, a fertile land where the vegetative stage of these platforms is been grown.

Still, privacy remains an integral part of the cryptocurrency industry and having to see this service out…! I don’t know but, it’s such a hard decision to come by and I’m sure it’s the same even for Theymos.
724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CASHOUT OR NOT???? on: December 02, 2023, 09:52:45 AM
I thought the OP would have been on the thread before hand to give us the result of the games and bets from the taken decision but, can’t find any and as such, I’ll deem it fit to announce that, CASH OUT was the better option as it turns out, the result of the games played as follows?

Market gambled on was 12 (Home or Away)
Results:
St. Pauli 2:2 Hamburger SV (Draw = Lose)
Monza 1:2 Juventus (Away = Win)

I would have fallen prey to waiting as well as, I had some confident in the game and the bundesliga side to be a goal scoring side. The over 3.5 goals was there for sure but, they just couldn’t get a win.  Sorry you had to lose OP, it was a good game and good choice until now and that’s the risk of not cashing out and having your eyes fixed on the big wins. Better choice and luck next time.
725  Economy / Economics / Re: Idea and money are very important to investment. on: December 01, 2023, 10:31:39 PM
Wealth are attained by first, the conceiving of a unique idea. It might be something that is well known within a people but, the execution could be different and it is first and foremost, unique to you every time.

Still, ideas paces way for wealth creation. Your ability to convert or bring into its physical or digital reality is what transforms your idea to create wealth for you. It’s where you have yo do the most work, the transformation which might need capital, capital you could get through partnership or which ever means of fund raising.

Mind you, it always starts with the idea.
You hope to invest in stock, it comes to mind first as an idea.
You hope to start a project, it comes as an idea.

Whatever you hope to do, it must first and foremost be conceived as an idea and then, you back it with some action.
726  Economy / Economics / Re: The power of investment choices on: December 01, 2023, 10:23:37 PM
It's not enough having an investment plan, knowing the right choice to make for every investment defines the investor better.
If your investment plan doesn’t define your choices,,,
What then is composed of your investment plan?

A plan is supposedly a well detailed steps (although, it’s always advisable you make a more flexible plan to be accommodating of the unforeseen circumstances) but, it itemize series of steps in any sequence to achieving a set goal. This takes into account both profit and lose situations and how these situations could be managed to not cause much damage if that be the end result.

Plans are put in place to aid and safeguard a business or an investor. It’s never the ultimate and as you are allowed to have a plan B, you could as well ensure the near perfection of your plan A. These you all do with the available resource in consideration.
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CASHOUT OR NOT???? on: December 01, 2023, 03:16:51 PM
Your topic brings to mind this one already discussed some time ago when the OP has a similar question. You can read about it - Greed or risk. You already know what you want, you can see it through to the end or you can cash out and be happy.
What the user wants is to win as well as every other gambler but, can’t really decide on what is acceptable with a huge probability situation in the way. I suppose that’s the purpose of this thread and looking at how close it is to strike gold or should I say, Bitcoin.

If we look at the thread you provided in that adhoc link, I think the options and potentials are entirely different with the one on OP. I mean, the games in the link is the damned El-Classico, Barcelona vs Real Madrid. There is a lot of rivalry in that game. We can’t say the same for the games OP has placed bet on.

Also, the market chosen is one that allows for just anything except a draw which is very plausible in these games.
728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: December 01, 2023, 03:07:55 PM
Maybe it all comes back to each gambler how they have a view on gambling or as some people have said here about how they think about gambling, if indeed they consider gambling as a place to make money, it's the same and it difficult to gamble responsibly, but someone After experiencing mistake, a gambler loses large amount of money, making this mistake a valuable lesson to change for the better of course, the gambler has many ways to gamble responsibly.
Having to think that you could make money out of gambling and I don’t mean you @quote is probably a very wrong way to approach the industry.
Mainly, the idea is always a reward for passion and when your passion seems to linger with having it for a means to survive, you might as well find yourself having to focus on means of easy money, leaving behind all the other means and ways by which you could earn good living and end up losing more often than you would win.

Why? You would want to place bets to suit your prevailing circumstances. That could push you to taking unnecessary and uncalculated risk.

Approaching gambling for a means of entertainment that could be rewarding could aid you in not having to gamble more than you ought to.
729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CASHOUT OR NOT???? on: December 01, 2023, 02:56:44 PM
I for shorts prefer not to watch the games I bet on if I could. It creates a lot of adrenaline rush within the individual gambler and that would be some disturbing position to be in.

It’s not abnormal that the options for a cash out is always way less or at least half of the potential win but, you really have to understand two things here.

One, cashing out too early means, you’re still in profit and that’ll be at least 17X of your stake.
Having yo wait and you eventually win, you still profit.
Which ever one that happens, you get to be contented and focus on what is at hand than what is expected in potent.

Meanwhile, it takes just one game to void a prediction and leaves you with nothing. I’m sure you’re aware of that.

I took a quick look at your bet and you’ve chosen games from Bundesliga and Serie A in the 12 market options.
I must say, I don’t see how an X would be coming out of those two bets. If I were you, I’ll let it run. It’s something that could easily play out in your favour.
That’s my take but, it’s up to you.
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 30, 2023, 11:55:25 PM

It is true that Arsenal can improve their performance but I don't think it is quite significant. In UCL, although Arsenal could destroy Lens with 6 goals lately, they was ever defeated by Lens in matchday 2. It means Arsenal performance is sill not consistently. In EPL, they already got 1 lose and 3 draws from 13 total matches so far. It even still doesn't reach a half of the season. I think it is not a very impressive achievement although they can lead the EPL standings temporarily. Arteta shouldn't feel satisfied with their current performance, there are still some problems in Arsenal. I see some players still can play in their best forms, Gabriel Jesus is one of Arsenal players who gets difficulty to return to his best form.
It was an unexpected result for sure but, it was a game where I very much expected them to win which doesn’t really define them to be much improved at my end. I saw it to be them to have done just what I know they could do and needed to be done.

I hope to see such performance in the EPL but, they happen to be struggling right now. Lack of consistency and only came to a lucky win over the weekend with the K. Havertz’s goal. I never saw Arsenal that terrible but they where. If they have any hope of winning the EPL this season, they need go up there performance there and not the UCL as that is definitely not up for grabs with that squad.
731  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing BC.Game Support Team: Building Trust and Transparency on: November 30, 2023, 11:48:21 PM

We're all about the players at BC.GAME but when the player abuses the platform to defraud us and make money and requests more money on top of the hundreds of thousands they've already exploited from us, we will not honor such cases nor do we think there was a breach in any of the ToS in regards to what we have done. We have let the user keep over $500,000 from what he made out of exploiting the bug; without pursuing the funds. There is no complaint to be addressed in such a case.
It’s always much easier to take the side of the customers because, the site exists to serve its customers and that’s the part of the population we mainly fit into. After all, the house (generally) is often known to have the hedge (I say this without any specifics but, as a norm).
Still, I can attest that some gamblers could be really terrible, taking every discovered loophole to their advantage and still, when discovered, they go the length of trying to play the victim.

BC. Game shouldn’t have let that linger for a long time though without putting up some explanation that disposes the inevitable and clarifies things.
In all that, it’s still cool having a support team on forum along with an official account to handle such situations when need be as well as, handling previous situations.
732  Economy / Economics / Re: How we survive food shortages on: November 30, 2023, 11:37:18 PM
I think we will find a solution, it is precisely the problems that make humans develop, because humans will actually find a way to solve these problems.
but in the case of birth and death rates, I think the only way is to reduce the birth rate or reduce the population.
Hardly any significant growth can come out of a comfort situation. When your just okay about the income your getting or the situation you find yourself in at any particular time, you would find yourself developing a routine that would end up producing the same result or results that would be within a range.
But, when you find yourself not contented with your achievements, you definitely would seek means for exploit and make more out of the preceding situation using the same available situations.

Speaking of birth control, it’s by far one means to reduce over populated as, you can’t actually decide on who lives or dies but, you could decide on the rate at which people give brith.

This is mainly achieved through proper sensitization on family planning. When a people are fully aware of the economic situation of a country and the means in which, having more kids can affect them, they would take measures to reduce the rate at which a family gives birth to more kids.
This in turn increases the standard of living for the family and nation state.
733  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin always affected on: November 30, 2023, 11:27:11 PM
I apologize if this is a dumb question but the fact is that I don't know why.

My question is, why is Bitcoin market always affected by all economics news, example is the issues with US bank like the SVB. Thank you
The services provided by mixers happens to be an integral part to the essence of what is; be it to an individual or government or perhaps a body charged with the investigation of a situation that has to do with money laundering or the channel by which funds is distributed.
Mixers play a role of ensuring privacy at all cost and low cost for crypto users.
This in turn hinders a lot of progress on the part of an on going investigation in the case of an illegal transaction of which, mixers never distinguished between any but treat all transactions as same although, there policies separate them from anything illegal.
Still, having yo disrupt a process has always been the bane of mixers and a cause for trouble.
734  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty Manager isn't accountable. on: November 29, 2023, 11:24:07 PM
I assume the newbie account with the Cooper member who is the bounty manager is operated by someone who is used to doing this. This is just an assumption, there is no incriminating evidence yet. but from what the bounty manager does and the attitude of the bounty manager. clearly shows unprofessionalism.
There's nothing wrong with that, the forum allows you to create alt account as much as you want.
Obviously and bounty is very much a session and part of the forum but then, when you linger in this field (bounties) full of scams and worthless tokens, you’re often sure of what to expect.
More over, having a manager in a new account, I’ll live that one there.

Most times people work on a project, you as well be good to look up the manager of the project and that would by far serve some guarantee on fulfilling promises made to participants.

I can see that your manager @OP has been active through 28th November, you could as well @OP keep up talks with your manager, maybe he would update you on what the issue is and when you guys would get your reward.
735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most Traders are Not Profitable on: November 29, 2023, 10:46:46 PM

Without having to dispute on claims you’ve made in the OP,
I would say, as much as some of these guys actually make money through the ads view on the content they create and other programs they host through there channel(s), some of them are getting some true success.

A quick note:
The term we mainly refer to as professional traders have come with a different definition as against what it’s assumed to be which is; traders that have a good level of expertise on there trades or happens to be pretty successful.
Professional traders are individuals who trade on behalf on an institution (institutional traders) and are being paid for their services.

Something to note, we have more day to traders newbie and petty traders than we could have of any self proclaimed expert traders and as such, they’ve got to be more losses than profit to some individuals, that in itself is a fact.
736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 29, 2023, 10:27:36 PM
The match between Bayern Munich and Copenhagen ended 0-0. I was so impressed by Copenhagen's performance tonight that they were able to hold Bayern Munich until the 90th minute. Bayern Munich were denied a penalty in the final minutes, which the referee ruled out after consulting the VAR. They should be grateful for the VAR's intervention because it was so close to the defender's arm that it would have been given. It will be painful for them if Bayern was given the penalty after holding Bayern Munich for 90 minutes. Copenhagen's chances of progressing to the next round of the competition have been boosted; all they need now is a win in their final group stage match against Galatasaray.
Copenhagen sure did have a good game but, I can’t say that for Bayern Munich. I felt they had to win and they really did the most they could to achieve that but, Copenhagen was just that good to hold the game in a goalless draw down to the final whistle.
On top of that, it would have been very disappointing should VAR had given that penalty. I mean, it was an awkward situation, with the defense having his hands up and the ball coming off his armpit but, there was no intention there, he’s hand wasn’t in the way to instruct anything but somehow, the ball found itself in his armpit.
It was a good referee decision for me.
737  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: November 29, 2023, 02:41:39 PM
Hey Everyone!

Your input and suggestions are incredibly valuable to us. In light of recent events, we are more committed than ever to ensuring the integrity and fairness of our platform.

We are thrilled to announce a unique initiative to express our gratitude and encourage your valuable feedback! We are offering $10 to the first 100 members who share their constructive suggestions, feedback, or ideas to help us improve BC.Game by filling out the survey below.

Your thoughts matter to us. Whether it's about enhancing user experience, improving services, or any other aspect you believe needs attention, we are here to listen and implement your feedback.
It's good to see BC.GAME team resolved all issues and came back in Bitcointalk. I see the team are launching a signature again and the review campaign that will help two biggest targets: receiving feedback from community to improve what your platform is lack of, what your previous management was weak; and advertise the platform again.

It will take time to actually come back and regain your reputation but it's a good refresh of the platform.
It was only a matter of time before the casino bounces back to its full potent. When you see a project does it best to be unwavering in there service, you could as well see a project that is mean well and the least project issues was just due to a little laxity within there ranks and customers corporation.

With the site being live on the forum with a campaign, having yet the same reputable manager in charge of its promotion and the many promotion I see them doing all over social media, popping up as ads, you could tell they are stronger now and have a more dedicated team to do the job.

Hope everyone is guided from the previous occurrences and issues that were allowed to linger for for too long, hope customer service is given utmost priority and hope the customers see the effort from the staff in issue resolution, be reasonable with them, exercise patience where need be and don’t be too quick to give negative attributes to a brand that means well. Hope you guys stick around some more @BC.G
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. on: November 27, 2023, 11:59:22 PM
If a 30k investment (basically a car) in 2023 can make me a 1 million dollar reward by 2030, I call that get rich quick.
7 years is quick, and hodling doesn't require skills.
That’s the sort of approach I like to see people view it from.
Not displacing the possibilities but realizing that it could happen, if it must. Not a must but, if it does happen, you appreciate it for the time it took and you as well is ever ready and willing to do even more time to archive your set goals for it.
Even at that, it never means you would have to take profit because you see your investment all reading in the positive. You could as well wait on it to take you through your future. Bitcoin has come a very short way to be all worked up about the profit your might have seen in 5-7-10years.

Understand that there are potentials, as much as you hope not to be greedy, as much as you hope not to lose and as far as contentment goes, don’t let lack of patience or the merry you hope to merry today withhold you from that which you could achieve. be patient and let it continue to unravel in your life time.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do I find a Balance Here? on: November 27, 2023, 11:47:17 PM
I view this as a personal contribution to the broader acceptance and utilization of Bitcoin. On the other hand, it means that it will disrupt my plan of holding 100%. How do I find a balance between supporting this business that just started accepting Bitcoin and adhering to my investment strategy of long-term hodling?
Like you said, it’s your way to foster acceptance by patronage through the use of Bitcoin. It ain’t a prerequisite and as such, you could always choose between that which gives you the most comfort.
Don’t fuel your desire or want to do by disrupting your need to do.

As far as payment media goes, it’s often about that which gives you much convince. You can’t go about patronizing just any and every Bitcoin accepting business out there. You would as well get to liquidate your entire hodling in the name of patronage to foster adoption.

Adoption will come when it will and it has been creeping to the stage still. While your little efforts might help, don’t allow it to make you lose out on hodling in the process. The balance between hodling and spending Bitcoin for a currency should be when the need applies. That’s your best move in these days where Bitcoin still serves for an asset and a little for a currency.
740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 27, 2023, 10:23:41 PM
                                         Fulham vs wolves

It's 69 minutes played so far and Fulham are winning 2-1, wolves can still make out something out if this game.
Wolverhampton could be such fighters and they did fought pretty hard to stay in this game but blew it in the end. It was a game where we found Wolves coming back after every lead by Fulham but, with a plus minutes penalty, there is very little they could do about that and even against another good side like Fulham. 3 penalties in one game, that’s how tight and packed the game was. In the end, Fulham did manage it to 3 points with Williams scoring 2 great penalties.

Arsenal will keeping for a better spot on EPL table this season because they messed up big time their golden opportunities of claiming the league title last season and they will leave to regret their relenting actions, the only way they can make amends is lifting the trophy this season with this outstanding squad.

Because Arsenal is in first place doesn’t mean they will be able to maintain it until the end of the season. Arsenal maintained first position from the beginning of the season until the season was about to end before they started misbehaving. Lots of people had confidence in Arsenal last season to win the league due to their Incredible performance, but towards the end of the season, they started losing points anyhow, they lost matches that they are not suppose to lose, then Manchester City took the first position from them.
As much of a reality that could be, it doesn’t dispute the fact that, they actually could.
A lot of lesson needed to be learnt from last season and they possibly could have learnt. One of the issues with the Arsenal team last season was over dependency and fatigue of the players towards the end of the season. That was due to the fact that, their squad depth was almost zero and they weren’t doing much of rotation on the team. Something Arteta would be looking to improve this season.
