He is new to this forum and cryptos. I was the one who first introduced him to all this a few months back. But he is a pretty good programmer. We are in a country where just a handful know about Bitcoin and cryptos. We are also teaming up and working with Bitcoin agencies in India to help promote the growth of cryptos.

Hi guys. Some have asked us to have our team post in different accounts.

We are a team of 3 people. 2 of us are Developers. 1 does the testing.

2 of us are using this same account for posting updates. Some on IRC suggested we use separate accounts. I am the main Dev and I will be using this account. My name is Roshan btw some of u may know me from twitter.

I have asked my friend to setup a new account in the name of "sfrdev2". I authorize that account to post related to SFR.

Have a good day!

SFRBit for small amount
SFRPay is for larger amount
Simple?

SFRBit for any amount. At present for the first few days we will keep a restriction for max 0.1 BTC per transaction.

We will include "SFRPay" when we develop a merchant-like interface.

My personal suggestion too. How about SFRSend and SFRPROSend for both the versions respectively?

Sounds nice. Just make sure both can be clearly differentiated so that it never creates even a bit of confusion. How about writing it like this SfrProSend just to make clear. 😊

Maybe SFRSend and SFRSend+?

That's interesting and I guess it sounds better. Would love some more suggestions. We will decide on the name just before the release.

Dev it is the best time to move to the moderated thread. Once people start noticing and our community starts growing, it will create suspicion and FUDs will also have one more allegation to make. FUDs are really dangerous for success of any coin.

Moving to self moderated thread will be worse for the coin than any FUD that people can throw at it. Also losing ~90 pages on the official thread does not seam like a good idea.

You can go ahead and start your own moderated thread.

We have discussed it as a community and most of the members are in favour of it. It is not a worse idea in fact best one. FUDs are really dangerous as I have seen in many coins, they definitely affect the growth of coin. Latest examples are XC,URO,VRC and many more. Whenever coins start becoming successful, people start to create confusion in investors mind. We don't want that to happen with SFR as it took us lot of time to recover from one blow, even we have not recovered yet. And tell me what's the harm of moving to moderated thread? We community members know SFR Dev from starting and trust him fully.

I agree with both of you. We will also be having a separate forum created for SaffronCoin. This ANN thread is also very important because it has the records of developments and progress right from start. Discussions can go on a dedicated SFR forum as well as this thread and a moderated one. We need to keep all options open.

Yea both will have different buttons. Alias one would have a separate dialog to send.

731  Local / Alt Coins (India) / Re: [ANN] [SFR] SaffronCoin Multi Algo - NEW Anonymous Encrypted Messaging - SFRMS on: July 16, 2014, 11:25:00 AM
We will be including a tiny feature too that would be helpful to a few people.

Some of you might send screenshots of your wallet to others. But you might not want your balance and transactions to be displayed. So you would edit your screenshot and then send it to someone. To minimize this effort, now with the click of a button, all your balances and your transactions will be hidden and replaced with a text "CLOAKED". It would also be useful if you do not want snooping eyes over your shoulder especially when you use SFRMS or check the tweetbox and not worrying about people around u having a look at your "stack" in public places such as offices.

Many of us wouldn't require this. But some would. This is also a "light" feature so it wouldn't increase the size of the wallet by a great deal.

SFRBit will have some constraints for the first few days.

The min. amount of BTC you can send is 0.0005 per transaction.

The max. amount of BTC you can send is 0.1 per transaction.

The max. amount will be increased later.

What about this name SFR ALIASsend or ALIASsend or SAFFRONsend. Just few suggestions.

Saffronsend is ok but it could be quite big.
The normal anonymity can be known as SFRSend. We just need to think of a name for the alias one. Or we can just assign a version number.
736  Local / Alt Coins (India) / Re: [ANN] [SFR] SaffronCoin Multi Algo - NEW Anonymous Encrypted Messaging - SFRMS on: July 16, 2014, 01:29:36 AM
Hey guys, we are pleased to say that our SFRBit has just been successfully tested. We tested it by sending some amount to an exchange.

There is some final cleaning up of the code and some final testing left. After that we will start work on SFRSend, our method to anonymize transactions by bouncing the transaction.

We will have 2 versions of SFRSend. We don't know what to name it as of yet. But the normal version would function as any normal anonymity send feature. Another version would be even more anonymous since u wouldn't know the recipient's address. You can anonymously send SFR to that person only by knowing his/her alias. Thanks to vipin for this suggestion.
But for this version of anonymity, you need to activate SFRMS in your wallet and choose an alias so it is paired with your SFR address.

More detail once we start working on it.

We could have the next wallet release this Weekend if everything goes well!

There is another very unique feature that we have thought of that would be an asset for many SFR users. The development time for this is a bit more so this won't be included in the upcoming wallet but would very well be in the one after this.

This is the screenshot of the SFRBit client :

Anybody knows where SFR is mined with X11. I've tried in CryptoCulture but found only 2 block in 3+ hours. Other listed pools either don't open at all, or show no active miners in it.
And block explorer shows a lot more coins mined with X11.

Try this p2p pool it works well.

Hitbtc looks like a good exchange and they have added us to their voting list. No registration reqd. All are free votes.

We are doing awesome on the Mintpal voting. If we can keep this pace it's 100% sure we will be added before the deadline (7 weeks still remaining I believe).

Haha yea but i would really like it if they add us by themselves.
