721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shame on haters for claiming that crypto is widely used in terrorist financing! on: October 25, 2023, 10:22:56 AM
Sounds like Elisabeth Warren kinda hatred for crypto, that mama ain't getting to the presidency sit, never, not with Blackrock and others after ETH and BTC ETF approval, someone like Warren will just make things more harder for them, imagine she is the president right now, she would have been a good match with Gensler, they would have caused a lot of damages.

People tend to only throw hates at what they don't understand, instead for them to learn and understand the idea behind Bitcoin existence they choose to hate.

Crypto can be use to fund terrorism, I accept this claim, but since the existence of crypto, there hasn't been any proof that shows that this is true, for the fact that everything is transparent on ten block chain, it's a stupid point without a proof.
722  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: I learned about airgapped wallets on: October 25, 2023, 09:30:10 AM
Since you can generate wallets offline on most crypto wallets out there, they can be treated as an offline wallet, just generate them offline and back up your recovery seed offline, then uninstall the wallet from your PC and get your address for instant deposits, from crypto exchanges or from others.

I am using a crypto tracker to track my transactions into the wallet, if your wallet can stay offline you are better secured than those running and leaving their crypto wallets online, one of the ways that hackers get the best of people is because they are using their wallets online.

This is the way that bad links and fake tokens are used to steal your asset, nowhere is safe online today, not twitter or telegram, they will send you bad links and they will pray you visit and do some thing stupid.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should have taken this risk earlier. on: October 24, 2023, 07:28:52 PM
Fear of missing out  Grin, that's what is affecting you right now OP, weeks ago many people are bearish and suddenly because of this pump everyone turned bullish, you should have start buying Bitcoin since last year but many are so confused that Bitcoin will go down lower.

It's not too late and I won't advice you to chase this pump, very soon we can turn bearish again before the real bull market starts, hold your horses for now and wait for some retracement before you invest a penny.

This is my advice and you don't have to go for it, but I just believe that a correction after every pump is unavoidable in this market, the rest decision is on you.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ETF $IBTC REMOVED IN DTCC WEBSITE!! MANIPULATION COMING OUT? on: October 24, 2023, 06:12:25 PM
Hmm, as expected, if there is anything effective to use against the crypto market it's no other than this ETF approval, one minute looks like we are closer than we think and later it's all fake, I believe this will go on for some time until a ETF is finally approved, but before that happens expect a lot of manipulation..

Just keep finding your comfort zone in this space and avoid running after a green candle, there is a big chance that they plan to dump the market even more, but to be on safer side it's better to be prepared for any thing, either it's bullish or it's bearish, make sure you keep your buying strategy (DCA) going.
725  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a formula for Bitcoin starters? on: October 24, 2023, 04:59:01 PM
Starting Bitcoin investment with little capital will be very challenging mostly if that happens to be the major survival option of the investor. And in cases where the investor plans on using the proceed to solve their needs they might end up selling when the price have dropped just to settle the pressing need of that time.

As experienced investors are there measures that can be imbibed by new investors with little capital to help boast their capital. Some will want to mention patience which I will agree to but in situations where the money is needed to meet an emergency need how to you tackle such situations. Your formula might be a saving approach.
I have seen a lot of pressure when I started investing into Bitcoin, I had no job but I was able to buy some coins and gather some money through faucets and airdrops, this isn't impossible at the time but very challenging.

As someone who have past experience about getting exposed to Bitcoin without any actual source of income, I am now advising begginers to make sure they have a source of income at least before investing into Bitcoin.

If you can feed yourself comfortably that's when you will think about investing into Bitcoin or any other investment plans, the world is getting tougher per year, I was lucky in my own time because free source of making money in crypto space was still possible.

Now things have changes drastically, only those who are joining IDOs are making money now, airdrops now sucks so much, since Arbitrum days there isn't a better one till now.
726  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigerian naira hits record black market low of 1,100 per dollar on: October 24, 2023, 04:17:48 PM
I am trying to exchange some money today and I realize that naira to dollar keeps increasing, today its 1230 naira to $1, it looks like this will keep increasing, no wonder many people are leaving the country, I think it's worth it, the only way this can be normal is if my salary is been paid in dollars.

The last man that indeed tried to change the country for the better in a short period of time was Muritala Mohamed, I believe that it's never going to happen again.

This man who as assassinated by people close to him, and his story makes me believe that if anyone is going to really fix Nigeria, that person is going to have a lot of enemies, because there is no way you want cut some peoples source of illegal money off, and many won't like it.

Truth be told, criminals are the ones leading this country in disguise as noble men, they are in that position for themselves and their families, it's so sad.
727  Economy / Economics / Re: Cracking the Code of Saving Money... on: October 23, 2023, 08:35:44 PM
Sounds like a lack of discipline to me because how can you be tempted to spend your money on things that aren't that important to you? We all have dreams and desires but to make living easier we cut down our expectations and buy things we can only affords, depending on the situation of the person.

I don't find it hard to save money because I do calculation on how much I am spending per week and whatever is left is where I take some savings and investment percentages from.

You don't have to save a lot of money at once, you should do it gradually, just like how you invest in Bitcoin using DCA.
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to invest or trade Bitcoin? on: October 23, 2023, 07:32:40 PM
From the beginning of Bitcoin birth, long term holders have always be the most profitable of them all and it's also more safer, no risk in holding Bitcoin than to risk of possible lost of asset through carelessness or silly mistakes.

Since you are new, read more about Bitcoin and know the best wallets to use for storing Bitcoin for long term and start trading if you like, but know that trading is very risky, you can lose money in trading easily that's why you need to reshape your skills in time.

You lose money invest in Bitcoin only if you sell at a lower price, Bitcoin is more like Gold and that's why you can keep holding for years to come, as you can see even Black Rock and other big giants in the financial worlds are going Big into crypto space, they won't come near if Bitcoin is trash.
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will it affect your life if bitcoin price comes to $1 million per bitcoin? on: October 23, 2023, 06:00:07 PM
Time would have passed, many would have died and kids would would have grown into old men and women, even with ETFs and stuff Bitcoin can never reach 1 million dollars at this time, sorry OP let me peacefully enjoy this present time, chasing this price target is beyond my time, I believe that in the next years to come Bitcoin can't be this valuable.

Let's pretend that it's possible, will you still hold your Bitcoin seeing the price pumping that much? Assuming you invested only $4000 in Bitcoin and your money turned to $80,000, you will never believe that it's going to 1 million unless you are stupid.

Last bull market many people are chasing $150,000 per Bitcoin, it never happened and they ride the bear market again, trapped and angry, when your ROI is too good you won't care about the Top-Top, you are here to make good gains, not to be a greedy fellow.
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If someone holds 1 bitcoin in 2023, can he call himself rich ? on: October 23, 2023, 05:04:40 PM
If someone holds 1 bitcoin in 2023, can he call himself rich ? If not, how many bitcoins holding is equal to being rich in your opinion ?
This can depends on the location of the person, but my on side I can called myself a rich person because right now one bitcoin cost $30,799 and the rate of dollar in myself now is ₦1200 so if you multiple 30,799 by 1200 you will have ₦36,958,800 which is huge amount here in my side. Even though things are very costly with this amount now someone can achieve so many things like building a house let say three bedroom flat with complete ideas needed in a house like air condition, refrigerator, toilets fittings including hot water system, kitchen and also decorations of all the bedroom, sitting room, dinning room, even buy a simple domestic car and they will still be some changes that will remain.
This can't be called been rich, you are spending majority of that money on building a house and getting a mid range car, what happen after that? Maybe people don't know that your worth is what makes you rich, not what you use the money for, how much is on you as spare money sleeping in the bank or somewhere.

I have seen many people that rush to build house and buy car, did everything to their taste and they still turn broke, they failed to understand some fact about money, if I get access to 1 BTC and I am from Nigeria, building a house will be the last thing to come into my mind.

1 BTC is a lot in Naira but landing on someone who doesn't have anything apart from this 1 BTC doesn't make him a millionaire, if you are smart you will grow bigger with this 1 BTC, as it should be treated as your KEy to Your Financial freedom, meaning don't ever go broke again.
731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top Crypto Execs Confident SEC Will Approve Spot Bitcoin ETFs on: October 22, 2023, 08:03:06 AM
This ETF approval is getting more serious every day, many people are now focused on this approval, I wonder what will happen if this ETFs never get approved or they release a bad news that ETFs are never going to get approved, there will be another massive sell off isn't it?

Either way Bitcoin will be fine, it doesn't exists because of the ETFs so... But I will like to advice people not to be too dependent on this ETF thing, anything can still happen.

Maybe the fake news about ETF approval was a test to see if it will really impact the market condition, and now they have the answer already, just be prepared.
732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin for everyone? on: October 22, 2023, 06:59:40 AM
I am asking this because not everyone has made tangible profit for holding. Just like myself I end up selling at a loss most times just to solve a problem. Some might be lucky to buy at a low rate and within few weeks or months the price just pumps to their favour. This kept me wondering if Bitcoin is actually for every one or it is a scheme for selected individuals..
I was like you in 2016 where I have to sell good numbers of Satoshis for my inevitable needs, there was nothing I could do than to sell for loses and I believe the reason was because I don't have a source of income.

If you have money problem you shouldn't be investing not only in Bitcoin but everything else, stay away from investment until you get a job or some good source of income, investment isn't an investment if you aren't able to hold until you make profits,  as a matter of fact you just throw money away because you sold at a loss.

We are trying to fix problems the wrong way, and it's all about common sense, if you are not financially capable, why get involved in things that will task you for not been financially stable? It's like having no job and getting someone pregnant.

It's not too late as you can still fix this, get a job and start making some money first and use part of your income to invest, this is when you will get peace in mind and you will be able to hold your Bitcoin till the ROI is better for you to take profits.
733  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigerian naira hits record black market low of 1,100 per dollar on: October 21, 2023, 11:28:11 AM
Every currencies are highly facing inflation, 1 million dollars in 1985 is like have 30 million dollars today, even the dollar is facing the same fate but the dollar is a very valuable currency over Naira so yes people will see it as a safe haven to avoid inflation.

Nigeria is in a big mess and I don't the devaluation will ever stop, we aren't far from 1,500 to $1 anymore and with the way things are going it seems unstoppable.

The one's who are to be blame are the leaders and the people, Nigeria is filled with people who are ready to support the evil people if the evil people are the ones supporting them financially, Nigerians will do anything for money, there is no right from wrong anymore so I believe how the country as turned out to be is because of the people who can't say no to dirty money.

The leaders are playing a bigger role in the mess of a country and the people are also a part of it.
734  Economy / Economics / Re: Isreal and Palestine war and losing your wallet phrase and password on: October 21, 2023, 10:39:29 AM
Wars don't just break out, there must have been some signs and if you are living in such country you need to get the hell out before it gets worse, I knew some people living in Ukraine before the war began, they evade the country and after the real war on Ukraine started.

This is one of the reasons why emergency money is good, always have this in mind, as your home might become that of a stranger some day, I trust myself in this category as I am not always that lose when it comes to unexpected events, I am the type that always expect the unexpected.

Since you aren't in Israel or other countries that are at war still doesn't mean you should be prepared, as I read someone saying why worry when you are not in such countries, no where is ever safe and there is nothing different between you are people living in such countries, same thing can happen in any country, big or small.
735  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin current range: $25K to $32K on: October 20, 2023, 04:02:46 PM
Do not bet on this, retesting 17k looks more possible than surging from here on, XRP win their lawsuit that's a positive news not only for XRP but for the whole crypto space, believe this will pass and yes election is upcoming so I still believe Bitcoin isn't ready for the bull market just yet.

I am not always right so do not take this as a valid advice, all I am doing is getting ready for the dips, this still doesn't affect my DCA, whatever you doing do not run out of money for dips opportunities, we still have some months to go so have it in mind that there is enough time for Bitcoin to still retest it's base again.

For all those who aren't ready to hear the truth, here is one, this whole ETF approval drama won't be in favour for crypto in the longest run, we haven't seen real manipilation yet, this ETF thing will give power back to centralized organization, what is coming will change everything for crypto.
736  Economy / Economics / Re: SEC approves BlackRock's spot bitcoin ETF on: October 20, 2023, 12:33:48 PM
Even if the ETFs get approval it's still not a big win for retailers and investors in general, it is going to get ugly after this coming bull market, I am saying this because of Black Rock, by that time they will now tell people which asset is better to invest into than others, ETFs of cos and also they will take over the whole crypto market, am I the only reader of Black Rock past history on here?

Whatever Black Rock gets involved with always get trampled on by these organization, anyway maybe I am wrong but I am not willing to bet on being wrong, since this power organization is involved, I am so sure of it that all ETFs will get approved and this will start the next bull market hype, let's enjoy it while it last and do not forget to take profit.

I have my doubts that the opportunity today will be available in the crypto space by the next bear market, all because of all these ETFs and that of Black Rock out of all others.
737  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people needs productive mindset to be happy in life on: October 20, 2023, 11:24:12 AM
If you know how tricky this life can be you won't be surprise that those who don't have the same skills as you are surpassing you in all ways, there is more to success and life in general, do you know that seeing people who aren't up to your standard when it comes to skills field doing better than you can make you start getting jealous? This happened between a closed friend and I and this was how we separated.

I started crypto years ago when no one gives a heck, when they saw me going through hell to get better in trading and crypto mining they laughed at me, and it get to a point where my closest friend start losing hope in me, I tried to teach him but he doesn't want to end up like me, that's how I felt.

He shunned me away and I stop telling him stuffs, the country condition wasn't as bad as it is today, so he believed in his studies, and since I am not into degrees anymore it felt like I was on the wrong path, later everyone knew that I have changed, I got some properties cars and so on then instead of saying sorry he choose to compete, I am not ready to go deep about what happened later but he gave up and came back to me, to make amendments.

I am not happy about his present condition and I am ready to teach him trading and also about Bitcoin investment, he chooses to study hard and become a successful guy, and I choose to learn the power of block chain and trading. He now depends on the government salary which isn't even enough for a single person who isn't married, I am not shaming my friend I am just saying that you will never know what the future will bring, be open to any skills and opportunity even if you believe in the present one you are doing.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife. on: October 20, 2023, 09:36:04 AM
If they deserve it why not? The worth of some rings are worth up to 1 BTC because they are made of Gold and other precious stones, so it depends on if the wife was already a crypto fan, because it won't make sense to gift someone Bitcoin when they don't know anything about it, they won't feel appreciative like they should be cause they don't know what they just got.

Also I think I won't be doing this if I am in your shoe, even mentioning Bitcoin at my wedding event while be scary because I don't what people to know that I am into crypto, if you want to gift your love ones something this valuable its better you do it in a private space.

It's going to be a hell of good gift is she knew what Bitcoin is all about, I mean some couples still keep their gifts they received from their partners on their wedding day, like some kind of unforgettable memories so it's not bad idea at all, just do it privately.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To protect consumers, Australia has introduced new regulations for cryptocurrenc on: October 19, 2023, 04:47:57 PM
Regulation will protect some certain numbers of people that only want to be protected from scam crypto exchanges and projects but they won't be able to be useful for others who cares more about decentralization, the hate on Bitcoin started because it's decentralized, and the only way the government can be in power is buying every piece and this is why I feel this next bull market might be the last best, Blackrock coming into crypto will make every juicer things in crypto become saturated, few years later crypto will be in the palm of Blackrock.

They can't control Bitcoin, and they want to, now we have ETFs, the whole crypto game is going to change in the next few years, I strongly believe in this, I do not believe that any government have the best interest of people at mind, they aren't benefitting from crypto so yes they can pretend to be fighting for the people.

The biggest robbers of poor people are the governments, when they are benefiting from anything, even if it's the most evil thing, they will heavily protect that thing, at this state there won't be any good or bad sides, I don't need any protection from the government, decentralization is the only chain breaker from the governments controls and monitoring.
740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is a Threat and BTC leads on: October 19, 2023, 11:40:29 AM
Crypto is no more banned in Nigeria, remove that from your list as I am very certain that this isn't happening in the country anymore, I am not sure about the rest on your list but I am hundred percent sure about Nigeria.

These countries are trying to protect their citizens from something they don't understand, it's like aliens visiting the mother earth and they never meant no harm but humans sees them as threat and they start attacking them.

It's only a matter of time for people to realize that they are been protect from crypto not because it's a threat to them but because it's a way to break the chains from government control and also their money slavery system.

They claimed that crypto is a threat to national security but not casinos? There are programs for the governments that have ruined peoples lives and these governments still allow these programs to run, they also certified them, nonsense, if people are financially free how will the government wrapped their hands around their necks? They are not going to like it anyway.
